Original subtitles

You idiot!

I told you to get me the Rayong project, not Chiang Mai.

Can't you read, huh?

Go get it!

I'm sorry, sir.

Now!

Why can't anyone do their job as flawlessly as Pumeth?

Then why don't you ask him to come back and work with you?

He's a great worker,

and he's really loyal to you.

So,

what's the problem between you two? Why did you beat him up so badly?

Loyal, huh?

I didn't want to say anything

because I didn't want to get even angrier, Dao.

And why would you get angry?

Don't play dumb with me, Dao.

If you care about him so much, just say it.

I was just asking.

If you two don't care for each other,

then why did he try to run away with you from me?

What do you mean?

I saw him preparing plane tickets and money

to take you away from me.

I always knew

you and Ingdao had something in the past.

So she had you find the money and plane tickets?

She doesn't know anything.

I did this on my own.

Please let her go.

What else did you do to him?

You care about him that much?

I don't know what you've heard,

but Pumeth and I,

we're not a thing.

Whatever he does,

it's got nothing to do with me.

I just don't want you to misunderstand him

and take it too far.

If you don't care about him, then fine.

You've got nothing to worry about, right?

As long as you behave

and don't betray me,

you won't end up like him.

What do you mean by that?

What did you do to him?

Dao,

you should focus on yourself and your niece.

Don't let anyone find out

what the two of you did.

What are you talking about?

Do you really want me to spell it out

that your niece is a murderer?

You knew?

I know everything

about you.

Congrats, Dao. You got to be the leading lady like you always dreamed of.

Hey,

don't be upset

if I can't tell anyone about us yet.

Wait until I'm more famous,

so I can work and save up a lot of money.

Then we'll start a family together, okay?

I'll do my best too.

I'll make sure you live comfortably

and I'll take good care of you.

Thank you.

It's fine. I'll give it to her.

Are you hot? I got you some water.

Thank you.

Want some more?

Dao!

If you're here to see me,

why look at other girls?

Dao,

are you seriously in the mood to be jealous right now?

I just don't want to be undervalued.

So what's your deal?

Can't you see?

He's been following me around everywhere.

Even on set,

he's here watching.

That's why I had to meet you here.

Then,

why not just end this quickly

and give me the document I asked for?

I'm not sure I can do that.

But you said you have already made up your mind.

I bet you know

how cruel Rath can be.

Every time we think it will be an easy escape,

it never is.

Even this time.

The person who tried to help me

got into trouble,

and was beaten badly.

Who knows what's happened to him now?

And who is that?

Pumeth?

Yeah.

He tried to help me and Ava,

but Rath caught him.

If I take a risk to help you now,

Ava and I

will be in even more danger.

But if you keep playing it safe

and stay Rath's obedient pet,

are you sure you'll be safe?

I don't care.

Either way,

I'm not risking myself for you.

Whatever we agreed on,

it's off.

You can't do this, Dao.

We had a deal.

Things have changed.

For my own survival,

everything we agreed on,

it can be undone whenever, right?

What are you asking Dao to do?

What are you saying?

Don't think I don't see

how you've been trying to get close to her.

Someone like you

wouldn't just approach her

for friendly chit-chat, especially not the woman who stole your husband,

would you?

You're just

imagining things.

If it weren't for this drama shoot,

I'd never get involved with her.

Well I hope that's true.

Because whatever it is you're plotting,

I can assure you

it won't work.

And for everything you've done to me,

it won't end well for you.

And don't you think

I'll let you mess with me again.

Hmm,

the way you're snapping at me…

I wonder what you remind me of…

Oh!

I know.

You're like a dog desperate to get its bone back.

- Pat! - Hey!

Let go!

What are you doing?

So the dog has gone from snarling

to pouncing for the bone?

Patchanin,

how dare you call your ex-husband a dog?

Why are you so angry

if it's not true?

Hmm, or could it be

you're upset because she hit the nail on the head?

Damn you Tham!

We can throw punches right here.

If you're ready to take the fallout,

then so am I.

Let's see

who takes the most damage.

Why was he picking a fight with you?

He suspects me and Dao.

But the bigger issue now is

Dao won't help me anymore.

Maybe

he has figured out your deal with her?

I doubt it.

I think he's just suspicious.

But Dao's terrified he'll find out

because someone has

already been hurt by Rath.

Who?

Pumeth.

Dao said he disappeared because he was helping her and Ava,

so now she's too scared to go against Rath.

Pumeth.

He's close to Taweerath.

He must know a lot of his secrets,

so when Rath found out he was secretly helping someone,

there's no way that guy would let him go easily.

I think

you need to forget about Dao and come up with a new plan.

She probably sees Rath's true colors by now.

She won't stay with that scumbag for long.

She's just scared for the moment.

Oh, Miss Dao!

Miss Ava's been in such a good mood all day.

She didn't yell even once.

Before she got on her phone,

she was taking a walk in the garden.

She must be happier now. That's why she's doing so much better.

Oh, I almost forgot.

What's that?

Oh,

the vitamins Mr. Rath's been giving her.

He said to make sure she takes them on time.

What's wrong, Miss Dao?

When she takes these, she's happy all day.

Rati had someone she knows run a test.

They're not vitamins, Dao.

They're sedatives.

Seriously though,

who would dare sell you fake vitamins?

It's someone I know.

Ugh, people are so evil these days.

Even someone you know

would sell you sedatives and call them vitamins?

They're just like those who sell fake creams, diet pills,

and supplements.

It's a good thing

you had us check them for you.

You're right.

People who go behind your back like that

are beyond evil.

I think

you should deal with them fast,

so scumbags like that are gone from society.

That way, they can't trick anyone else.

Why did you throw them away?

From now on, if Rath gives Ava any pills,

let me see them first.

Don't let Ava take anything without running it by me, okay?

Got it, but what if she asks for some?

Don't say anything.

Just give her this instead.

Okay.

Pon!

Pon!

Yes?

Pon,

I haven't had my vitamins today.

Sure, I'll get them for you.

Ava,

Mrs. Som is asking about your schedule.

When can you shoot again?

I…

I don't…

want to go back to work yet.

Should I ask them to reduce your lines?

Can they do that?

Of course.

Or maybe

you could work on a new show.

I'll talk to Mrs. Som for you.

Okay.

Pumeth is dead.

His body was found two days ago.

No one has filed a missing persons report,

and no family has come forward.

Pumeth used to do all kinds of work for Rath.

Even the dirty jobs. He was happy to do them

and cover for Rath.

He should've known better.

Betraying Rath

never ends well.

Why did he help Dao to the point of ending up like this?

I wondered that too,

so I had someone look into

Miss Ingdao and Pumeth's relationship.

This is all we got.

This should be enough to confirm

they used to be a couple.

We should tell the police to go after Taweerath.

He's definitely behind Pumeth's death.

Please don't tell Dao about this yet.

Why not?

If they really were a couple,

knowing about this

will devastate her.

I don't want her to go through that right now.

I'll tell her myself.

Sure.

Why are you here?

I don't have to be at the shoot today.

Since you've been so quiet lately, I thought I'd stop by.

I brought you cupcakes, your favorite.

I don't want them.

Keep them and leave.

And don't come to my house again.

You're annoying.

Hey, wait.

I came here to talk things out with you.

That's bullshit.

I don't believe you!

I'm being serious.

I'm sorry for misunderstanding you.

I know now

that you had nothing to do with Chat's death.

Tell you what,

wherever you want to go, whatever you want to do today,

I'll take you, and I'll pay for it too.

But,

don't be greedy.

Don't buy anything expensive.

You don't have to.

If I want to get something or eat something,

I can pay for it myself.

So,

does that mean you're coming with me?

Or did you already have plans with someone else?

It's time for my vitamins.

Pon! Where are my vitamins?

- Pon! - Yes, I'm coming.

Here you go, Ava.

Hey,

you took your vitamins.

So now you can go shopping with me, right?

- Ava, what's wrong? - I didn't mean to!

What are you scared of?

I didn't mean to! I didn't mean to!

I didn't mean to!

Ava!

Get back!

I didn't mean to make you fall.

Please don't punish me!

What did you say?

I didn't mean to make you fall.

Chat…

Chat, I'm sorry.

Chat, please. Please.

Please forgive me. Please.

Miss Ava!

What's the matter with her?

I don't know for sure.

Miss Ava! Miss Ava!

I need to edit the script first.

- I'll tell you when I'm done. - Okay.

- Got it. - Okay? Thank you.

What are we filming after this?

This scene.

- Got it. - Okay?

Good.

We need to talk. It's important.

I've got nothing to say.

What if it's about Pumeth?

Why are you bringing him up again?

You were the one who told me

Rath beat him up and that he disappeared,

so I had Mr. Tham look into it.

And what did you find out?

Why should I tell you?

Wait!

You're the one who wanted to tell me about him.

Well, I told you.

I found him.

Besides that, I can't tell you anything.

Fine, I'll tell you a bit more.

Based on his condition when I found him,

he had been beaten up badly.

You have to help him.

And why would I help someone who works for Rath,

someone who has messed with me so many times?

He was taking orders from Rath,

but in the end, Rath hurt him too.

But he's Rath's henchman.

Why would Rath do that?

He tried to help me and Ava

start over,

but Rath found out.

So Rath punished him severely.

Pat,

you have to help him.

If I help him,

what's in it for me?

Well, Dada,

you're such a good assistant today.

Even when I'm heading to the restroom, you're right there to watch me.

Well, Dao,

I'm just afraid Pat might find you and you'll start fighting again.

So I'm here to prevent any dog fights--

I mean, to prevent catfights for you.

I really care about you, Dao.

If Mr. Rath ordered you to follow me around,

then just say it.

You think I'm so dumb I couldn't tell?

Dao, dear,

how could Mr. Rath order me to do anything?

You're just imagining things.

Then,

should I check your phone

to see your texts with Mr. Rath?

Come on, Dao.

Mr. Rath cares about you a lot,

but he can't be here to take care of you,

so he asked me to take good care of you.

Take care of me well, right?

Then,

can you get everyone out of there?

Whoever is in there,

tell them to leave

because I

want the restroom all to myself.

Aw, Dao.

Do you really want me to do that?

They'll curse my family and post about it on social media.

Please don't make me do it, Dao.

So you can't do that?

Well, if you can't,

then stay here.

Don't follow me around till it gets annoying.

You're my assistant, not my jailer.

ACTORS' RESTROOM

Dada!

Fine, I'll go.

Here to use the restroom, Pat?

Yes.

Dada, could you please move?

What's the matter?

Nothing, nothing.

Let's go, Dada.

I just

wanted to touch up my face for the scene.

Okay.

Hello.

No such thing happened, Mr. Rath.

They didn't even say a word to each other.

They didn't look at each other either.

It's really tense between them.

Okay, okay. Well, I'm hanging up now.

Rath is having a problem with a condo project.

If you want to mess with him,

I'll give you the information.

But you have to promise

you'll take good care of Pumeth

and make sure he's okay.

You seem to care about him a lot.

He tried to help me,

so I want to help him too.

What do you say?

Will you do what I asked?

Sure,

I accept.

Sorry, Dao.

I really had to lie too.

Hey, Pu.

How did it go with Ava?

Okay.

I'll meet you there after we're done shooting.

Ava was hallucinating till she confessed

that she pushed Chat off the roof.

But still, I can't do anything, right?

The police already closed the case.

If we want it reopened,

we'll have to find more evidence.

I'll do anything

to reopen Chat's case.

I won't let it slide.

You should rest, Pu.

Let's go.

I wanted you to see this.

Dao gave me the information.

In here,

is everything about Rath's condo project that's facing a problem.

Dao gave me this

because she wanted me to help Pumeth.

So how would you help him

if he's already dead?

The only thing we can do

is get Taweerath arrested for killing him.

No.

He can't get arrested yet.

If he does now,

I won't get to take everything back from him.

When will you stop lying to Miss Ingdao about Pumeth?

I understand you, Miss Pat.

I want to get back at him for Fah too.

But to use a dead person as our tool,

isn't that going too far?

But if I didn't do this,

Dao would never help me.

I'll take back all of what's mine

and my father's from Rath first.

And then,

I'll send him to rot in jail

when he has nothing left.

Only that

is fitting for someone like him.

You seem happy.

My new condo

just reached its sales target.

Over 60 percent of the tenants have transferred ownership.

Congratulations.

My success

is like your success, Dao.

Of course, I'd have to congratulate you on every venture,

as long as it's truly successful.

Hello.

What?

Someone's suing to revoke the approval

of my new condo's construction?

But it's been finished for ages.

Almost the whole condo is sold now.

Who's suing us?

You said you took care of silencing everyone who knows.

Clearly, the building's height

and the land in front of it

violate the Building Control Act.

He's definitely done, bro.

Because of what we're suing him for,

once the court reaches a verdict,

they'll revoke the building permit

and order the condo demolished.

The tenants will definitely sue Taweerath's company together.

Taweerath won't let it get demolished so easily.

And the only way he can avoid that

is to buy up all the land and buildings in the area

to make sure the entrances and exits are legal.

If he buys them now, he'll have to negotiate their prices.

He'll have to no matter what.

He has no choice.

As the plan goes,

we'll have to buy the land in front to make entrances and exits.

How much would that be?

Five hundred million.

Five hundred million?

Rath,

just pay it, so you won't have to lose more.

But there's another problem.

Since word got out about the lawsuit,

all the land we should be buying has already been purchased.

Who bought it?

I had someone look into it.

But now, all the land

appears to be owned by one person.

That's good then, Rath.

That will make for an easier deal.

You won't need to talk to multiple landowners about the sale.

Then go arrange a meeting with them

and buy the land fast so we can get this over with!

Got it.

Okay.

That company, Begin,

is just a small firm that was only recently registered.

Why did they have us negotiate the price directly with them?

I really want to know

who they think they are.

They might just want to meet you in person.

It's not every day a small firm gets to meet a big businessman like you.

If that's the case, then great.

It's only 500 million.

I can find it easily.

But what I really want to know is

how word about my condo got out.

If I find out who leaked it,

I'll get rid of them.

Shall we head inside?

They're waiting for you.

- Where's the table I booked? - That way, sir.

We're representing Begin

to negotiate the land sale.

Thank you

for your interest in the land owned by a small company like ours.

The land in front of Rath's condo,

how come it's yours now?

I'm interested in a real estate business.

You know that too, Rath.

That's why I asked Mr. Tham to start a company for me

and buy up all the land in the area

in my name.

I negotiated with all the landowners in the area.

Everyone agreed to sell to you.

Apparently, they were unhappy with the construction to begin with.

Not only was it a nuisance,

but there was zero safety.

Plus, there were many accidents during the construction,

but word didn't get out

because Taweerath covered it up using money.

He missed a few locals, though.

Before he knew it, the condo got sued,

and all the land got transferred to our new company.

Now,

we just wait till he contacts us.

So you two bought up all the land

and caused a problem by suing my condo.

Rath,

there's no use getting angry now.

Because now,

you have to buy the land back.

She's right, Rath.

If you do something stupid

and get me and Mr. Tham upset,

our negotiation today might be over.

Then tell me,

are you selling it or not?

Of course, we're happy to sell it.

Otherwise,

we wouldn't have come to see you.

Then tell me,

how much is it?

The appraisal price is 500 million.

So, I'll sell it to you for…

One billion.

One billion!

You're acting without thinking if it's wrong,

just like the guy you hate.

NEXT EPISODE

Do you know that?

You have to negotiate the price for me.

I'll buy Pat's land no matter what.

Pack Ava's stuff right away.

I'm coming home.

Did Ava say anything else?

She said she saw Chat secretly filming

while Ava was talking about something to Miss Ingdao.

Patchanin,

the oh-so-innocent leading lady.

You're just as evil as Taweerath.
