Today, we will be demonstrating

the helicopter rappel.

It is mainly used in

rapid air extraction scenarios.

For example,

highways,

earthquakes,

the wilderness,

and floods.

Every rescue operation

is a race against time.

We need to arrive

at the extraction target's side as soon as possible.

While rappelling,

the sway of the helicopter

and the engine's noise

will become a disturbance.

We need to have good teamwork

with the pilot

and the coordinator.

Remember.

If we can get

one more second,

we will be able to save one more life.

Dangers are everywhere.

From the moment we chose

to become firefighters,

we should

always be prepared.

The news report of

the Highway 307 incident

caused

a controversy online.

Some people

took footage

from our report

and purposely

defamed the firefighters.

It gave a negative impact

on the firefighters of Emergency Response Unit Brigade 1.

Although the responsibility is not with the TV station,

they still used footage

that came from our report.

Can someone tell me

who was the one

responsible for this news?

Sorry, Chief.

I was responsible.

I arrived

at the scene late

so another colleague

already collected the materials.

Since she knew the situation

better than me,

I asked her to help me

with arranging and editing.

When we were on our way to the scene,

there was congestion.

Xu Lai volunteered

to take me to the scene.

Ms. Jiang

had no first-hand materials at all.

Xin,

let Zhang ride with me

so we can get materials at the scene.

Xin.

We will be late if we wait.

Yes.

Xu Lai.

I got hurt at the scene

just now.

I need to go to the hospital later.

This report

is urgent.

You are a rookie.

This will be

a good learning opportunity for you.

Why don't you

be in charge of this video?

Really?

Don't worry.

I promise

to complete the task.

I watched the video

and saw nothing wrong with it.

So I submitted it directly.

Xin,

why did you

add that footage?

Which footage?

I don't understand what you are saying.

The bystanders' opinion

on the firefighters at the scene.

The final version I gave you

didn't have that content.

Do you know doing that

will mislead the public?

They will think

this is misfeasance by the firefighters.

The footage

has been extracted

by bloggers.

I didn't edit

or submit the footage.

Go and check the website.

Besides,

we are reporting

the firefighters

putting out the fire.

It's the objective truth.

I added

the bystanders' discussion

to explain

the scene

that firefighters

can't use fire hoses

before the electricity is cut.

But people are taking it

out-of-context

after you added that part.

Let me say it again. It wasn't me.

Let me remind you, Xu Lai.

You are the one in the video.

You are also the one

who arranged the footage.

Even if there's a joint liability,

you will be the one to bear the consequence.

I don't blame Xu Lai.

She's a rookie and is inexperienced.

Besides, there's no problem with the report.

People are only misusing our footage.

I am partly responsible for this.

We will be more careful in the future.

Xin is right.

I am a rookie

and am inexperienced.

So,

I lack experience in taking responsibility

for my senior.

I just sent

the security camera footage of Xin editing the footage

to everyone.

You can take a look if you are interested.

Not only did Xin

see the footage I arranged,

but she also helped me add new footage.

After all, uncovering the truth

is the duty of a reporter.

Chief.

I won't take the blame for this

but I'm going to shoulder the responsibility.

What are you planning to do?

I want to do a special report

on the firefighters.

Doing that

can help them

get rid of the negative impact

and help increase

the TV station's reputation.

It's killing two birds with one stone.

You can try it.

I'll say this first.

If your report

is not good enough,

I won't use it.

No problem.

(Jiang Xin.)

(Xu Lai is a rookie.)

(As her senior,)

(you should guide her well)

(instead of pushing the responsibility.)

(Thankfully, no incident happened)

(and the station does not need to take responsibility.)
