Original subtitles

Previously on Project Runway. Antonio, you're in.

Casey, that means you're out.

Ethan, as the winning designer, you're going to have an opportunity to swap.

I'm going to swap Jesus with Madeline.

I'm happy Ethan let go Jesus because I don't need drama.

Each house must create an activewear capsule collection.

I'm going to tear it up. But what if your team doesn't?

Ethan, I think you knew that you had a great look and you didn't give a f***

about the other people on the tape.

Jesus, you were our favorite look. Congratulations.

You shut me up. But I do have to tell you, Antonio, yours was our least

in the winning theme.

It sucks.

Angelo, you really need to bring in a sense of drama to step it up. I think it

kind of looks like a tampon.

I mean, this is unwearable. I love a corvette.

That's Asana.

Guys, the story has to match. You cannot piss on me and tell me it's raining.

A date for the winner is $200 ,000, a spread in Elle magazine, and a life

-changing mentorship with the CFDA.

This is Project Runway.

Angelo, Alex, and Vijay, you're all disappointed this week.

I know that my work is better than the both of them, so they need to go home

first before me.

BJ?

You're safe. You can leave the runway.

Oh, my God.

Alex,

your construction left a lot to be desired, and you missed the mark.

I adore Angelo.

but I have a lot more to offer.

I don't want to go home.

Angelo, in this competition, you have to remember that showmanship is just as

important as craftsmanship.

All I'm thinking is I need this for my daughter. I cannot go home this early.

Alex, Angelo, one of you will be in, and one of you will be out.

Angelo.

You're in.

You can leave the runway.

Thank you.

Thank you, guys.

I'm sorry, Alex. That means you're out.

Auf Wiedersehen.

It was lovely to meet all of you. Good luck.

Well, it's not fun to be the second person going home.

That's for sure.

No, I deserve it. I really do. It's not a good example of my work at all. Is it

going to be like this each week?

This shit.

Awesome.

You know, I don't disagree with the feedback that the judges had. This is an

incredible, fun experience that I've been able to have.

Alex! Alex!

Alex! Wow.

What's next is we're going to go home. We're going to have a sauna.

And life will continue on.

You guys ready to get pushed a little harder?

Yeah. I think until now, there really hasn't been any clear leaders in either

challenge.

So I think we're going to blow it up.

So Ethan and Jesus, for winning the first two challenges, each of you are

to become the leaders of your own house.

Yes, sir.

Versus ringing.

Ring it. Oh, my God. Another team challenge.

I don't want to be on either team.

I just can't wait to work by myself without thinking about other people.

You'll be picking your team shortly and choose wisely.

I'm so excited.

Good luck.

See you soon.

I always wanted to start my own house.

This is insane.

Such a twist.

Honestly, I feel like it's going to be a tough competition because I know how

talented Ethan is.

Oh, the shade.

It's going to be a battle.

I'll make it look good.

What is that?

It's a group challenge.

It's time to pick, team, so things about to get spicy.

I think I found my new bag.

Hello, designers.

I'm sure you guys are wondering, what are these bags?

Yeah. Each of these bags are fabrics that I would say are considered boring.

So PNC Bank believes whether it's managing your money responsibly or

same stitch for hours, actions that seem boring are essential to create

brilliant results.

So in these bags are basic fabrics and textiles. Seen on a bolt or a design

table, they might be considered... But when slowly and thoughtfully designed

fabricated, something boring transforms into something beautiful.

So the two houses will select from three mystery bags of boring to inspire

brilliant looks on the runway.

Ethan and Jesus. So you have the power to choose your houses.

My strategy is to pick designers that are great tailors. Definitely want my

brother and my team because they know how good we work together. But I'm

thinking Ethan, strategy -wise, might take him away from me.

Jesus and Antonio love to be heard.

I'm going to try to keep all of the firecracker energy out of my group.

going to flip a button to decide who picked first.

Who's last?

It's Ethan.

Oh, wow.

All right.

My first pick is Echen.

Thank you, baby.

My first pick is going to be Antonio.

Of course. Hello.

Ethan, you're next.

Joseph McRae.

Madeline.

Miss Jones.

Thank you.

BJ.

I am shocked Jesus picked me because we don't really get along. Oh, my God.

Lord.

Angelo. Thank you, baby.

I've always been picked last.

Melania.

But it's fueling me to show I'm actually the special sauce.

I got all the skills, you just don't know it yet.

Because Ethan got to pick first.

It's only fair if Jesus picks first the bag of lorings. I was born with a pack

of two, so I'm going to pick two.

Okay. Let's see.

Oh.

This is your fabric.

Fun. What do you think?

I like it.

It's a great walk.

We can make this fabric look really expensive.

They can have it all day, every day. That's ugly.

There's barely any stretch on it. Keep it. We don't want it on this side.

All right, Ethan.

I'm going to choose number one. Okay.

Let's see. Please be better. Please be better. Please be better.

Looks like dinner.

Dinner!

Denim is so versatile. It is classic.

It can be modern. We got the best material.

So now that you have the foundations for the challenge, these towels must create

a capsule collection that shows that boring can be brilliant. This is about

exploring volume, texture, and a bit of innovation. But anything here can be

fresh, including a basic bag of boring.

And I have a special twist.

My very dear friend, Sofia Vergara, will wear the winning look.

So you guys better come up with something fabulous or she will never

ever again.

Oh, I can't wait.

I want to win this challenge. I'm so ready.

Last week, Heidi said that my look wasn't her favorite.

I kind of want to redeem myself.

We have Sofia Vergara, the princess of Colombia.

This is Estrada Girl. This is what we love to dress.

Let's do this.

You guys will have until the end of tonight and three hours tomorrow to make

these collections.

Oh, my God, another one -day challenge.

Ah, this is Project Runway, and it will never be easy.

Good luck making boring brilliant.

See you on the runway.

Here we go.

So,

I really wanted to have a name for the house.

Okay. Catalina.

Catalina is a very beautiful flower from Colombia. It comes from the family of

the orchid. And considering Sofia Vergara is our guest judge, I was

playing with the structure to create volume and beautiful silhouettes, right?

Do you know what a Catalina flower is?

No, not really.

But I can't get inspired if I don't know how it looks like. So, yeah.

Like this. And there's the orchid here.

Like that.

beautiful structure like this i'm not like a girly girly designer i'm more

modern and edgy and sexy so okay how can i modernize it what is the

catalina aspect of your outfit i don't know i'm just asking because this is the

inspiration right so we have to defend like well it's good to say yeah girl I'm

honestly getting a little annoyed because BJ is fighting me on the

Let's not forget that I'm the team leader, so just do what I say.

Jesus has a very strong personality and so do I, so I'm afraid that we will

clash.

House of Jesus, are we all doing flowers?

I think it should.

Yeah. I think because of structure.

Yeah. BJ, I'm not sure yet.

BJ, I don't want yours to look like complete, like it doesn't belong in the

collection.

BJ is very quiet and doesn't really share what she's designing. You know,

like a silent killer. Like all of a sudden you're like, whoa, where'd that

come from? At the end of the day, one look can ruin your win.

i kind of want to know what you're doing so then that way we can like maybe you

have a good technique yeah that we could use you know what i mean okay and share

that with us yeah yes we're going to help each other but no i'm not going to

share everything that i have in my mind you have to be creative on your own

welcome to team ethan we have the house of ethan or like

i like to call it ho our overarching theme

It's showstoppers.

Huh?

Okay.

I think that we should prioritize using fringe.

Fringe.

Do we want to take a couple minutes and just draw?

Yeah, let's draw it.

I love this friction pen.

And luckily, they're erasable.

It's a lifesaver right there.

Okay, Ethan, so this is like the fringe idea concept, and then this is the

ruffle. Yep. You have two really good ideas. We're going to dive into fringe.

Okay. Yeah, with the cool hat. Okay.

You know, Ethan is the head of the house, so he kind of selects which

that he thinks each designer should do.

We're going to do the flow with the swoopy swoopy.

So I'm making a frayed denim gown with frayed accents and a frayed

spiral headpiece.

You have to do this half.

Yeah. It could be really beautiful.

That's not my favorite look of the ones I sketched, but I'm trying to be a team

player.

Hello. Wow.

Are we feeling good?

I don't see a lot done at all.

We're just starting.

So what are you doing? I wanted to do a powerful coat. It's kind of like the

idea of the Catalina flower and moving it into the wave. Yeah, I mean, this

coat, if this is it, has to be perfect.

Say hello to the news. So everybody was doing kind of a dress bodice type of

thing, and I said, let me step out and do pants that's tailored. This is so

dynamic as a pant. Oh, my God. I know. I'm screaming.

Groundbreaking. Honestly, I've never seen a pant more interesting in my

career.

I know how to rework a boring uniform into something cool. Since I have

dyslexia, this is how my process works.

Dyslexia switches the letters around.

So I had to learn early to see disorganization or see confusion and

sense. So, Christian, tail baby.

I got this, okay?

So in the collection, I'm going to go at the end. This is the finale moment.

The finale moment. I'm designing a beautiful mermaid gown incorporating the

Catalina flower.

I want to be on top. I want Law to tell me what he told my brother. You shut me

up.

You've got to make sure that this silhouette is just really interesting.

Noted.

BJ, you're making a pencil dress again. What happens on her hips?

They open?

Yes. Oh, yeah. Yeah. So this is skin.

Yes. Wow.

OK.

I saw this fabric and was thinking, like, Goldman sleeve and then an open

here. Mm -hmm. It's very chic and classic.

Yeah. But I don't think it's that exciting.

I'm going to do this most thick, high -waisted pant, and it's going to have a

window. How is it standing up?

I am a master of boning. Yeah.

Boning is understructure that helps garments.

Have shape to make them larger than life.

If you can master boning, you can make any garment submissive to your whim.

It's my first time to use boning, to be honest.

First time to use boning ever? Yep.

Okay. This is my design. I was trying to make this storm dress.

So if it doesn't work, it's going down.

I'm just saying.

What are you making? I got the pencil skirt that's going to go underneath, and

I'm playing with this shape.

Is this your vibe?

Switching it out. I don't want you to take on something that you really don't

and isn't your aesthetic.

I kind of agree with him, but at the same time, I want it to stick to my

and not create another pant.

I feel like if I execute that, it's enough to make it to the next week.

Okay, Joe.

What is all that?

Fringe?

Oh, God.

I just think...

That's just not that interesting.

It's been done literally 100 million thousand times. From Britney to Steven

Tyler to every Project Runway designer that's ever been in this competition has

done frayed edge denim dress.

Oh, no.

Doesn't feel good, Mr. Christian.

What are we supposed to do? Like, take all of it off and put nothing on the

runway? Like, I don't have time or the bandwidth to pivot. So you've got to

it the best fringe.

themed edge thing you've ever seen.

You have a lot to do. Good luck.

I'm shook. I'm shook.

All right.

Battle of the houses. It's truly a battle.

I still think a lot needs to happen before these collections become

Don't forget that all the boring things are right, like the hems and the

zippers. All the details need to be perfect.

The judges are going to be watching.

Okay. Get to work.

Bye, everybody.

Bye. Good night.

Still standing by their friends.

So we have a battle.

It's got to be interesting.

Right.

That did not go well at all.

I am worried about the direction that we're going as a team.

Showstoppers is not a theme.

It's a vision, you know. And I just think this whole friend thing was a last

-ditch effort to try to make it make sense.

I am really concerned about this challenge.

Come get some, come get some.

You know that you're going to come get some.

Rumi, what do you think of this edge on here? Utica was saying we add a fringe.

Trust your instinct, Rumi.

I'm trying to be a team player. I'm really surprised about Ethan's choice

I think his goal is not to win the group challenge. I think his goal is to be

the strongest.

He loved my piece, so I'm in a good spot, but I want to make sure that y

are in a good spot.

Jesus, do you already know what the other team is working on? I don't know.

see a lot of volume and a lot of, like, you know.

I am extremely worried for the House of Ethan. They are all over the place.

I really don't understand what Ethan is creating.

Miss Jones is really confused.

Yushin doing this dress that I know it's going to be impossible for him to

finish it on a one -day challenge.

Delania. Yeah. This is a concept that I had in mind for us to all incorporate

the rough, like, look at the color. The more circle.

Yeah, that's a cascade.

Yeah, I see.

At first, I wasn't sure how I was going to interpret the Catalina flower, but

now I see it.

I'm liking what everyone is working on, and we're really making boring

brilliant.

Kristen!

Hello. Who wants a model? You ready?

What? I don't even have a dress to fit on her.

Hello, ladies!

Excited to work with you. Oh, me too. How are you?

Sorry, I have nothing to fit on you right now.

Wait, you have nothing to try on. Oh, no.

What are you going to do?

What if you cut this like you're going to, safety pin it down flat, and put it

on her? Yeah.

Right now.

Okay. The clothes need a lot of, like, you know, hand stitch.

But Christian is saying, I have to put it on the model anyway.

Getting the structure to do this, it's going to be a little bit tough.

It's not working.

I feel very frustrated.

It's going to take a lot of time.

It's a nightmare. It's happening.

I have to completely start over.

Whip out something easy and something that's in your wheelhouse that isn't so

elaborate. I really don't know.

I really don't know.

You can either you listen to me and I make it easier for you or you continue

struggle with your piece.

Pick a lane.

This is it? Is this a pencil skirt?

No, no, no, no. This is the bottom. It's four layers.

You didn't make that in denim yet? I can't make it in denim because it's

to be too heavy. The outer layer is going to be done. What if you don't have

time? Oh, Lord, Ethan, I'm worried.

Yes, my team is struggle busing.

You guys, really?

We don't have a lot of clothes to fit.

So really, this is going to be it?

multiple people just not going to fit things.

Ethan, your team has no clothes.

You shouldn't put him even get his off the mannequin. He has no bottom at all.

And that's a pencil skirt.

And if that's happening, then good luck. You might as well just say goodbye.

I really believe that the other group should feel worried because Christian is

actually panicking. It's crazy.

We'll see you on the runway.

The showstopper aspect is my whole MO, and I am realizing in the thick of it

that it's a real challenge for the team.

Maybe it just was a bad decision.

And just come up with something new, something fresh that you know that you

whip out that has that wow factor.

I have six hours left. I have to make something else.

I don't want to drag the team down because Ethan picked me first.

I have to make it work.

Tell me what you're working on.

Tell me, tell me.

Wow, guys, it's runway day. It's runway day. Hey.

Good morning, guys.

She's a designer.

Oh, my God.

Oh, my God.

She's a designer, a model.

My team is struggling, and it's like Utica is all about light, uplift, and

that showstopper energy. So if there's anything that's going to get my team on

track to be a showstopper, it's her.

Yes! We thought you were the only model.

Utica. Oh, my God.

Perfect.

I have to finish my top and my skirt and some hem of the cape.

I'm so determined to finish my look. If I don't make this happen, I'll go home.

Hello. Christiane, meet Eureka. I see her.

I wish that look was going on the runway, other than some of these other

Oh! No tea, no shade, no pink lemonade.

All right, houses, it's the final stretch.

Don't forget to send your models to the Ulta Beauty Salon.

hola hola bring out her natural features i love the makeup it's really chic that

is everything i'm so excited you deliver it's gonna have to like open up when

you start no do it tight it looks match that's me being paid last i was just

like My team is overly scrutinizing my look. But fit is important.

And even though I'm not as confident as the other designers, I'm feeling good

about tailoring stuff because I'm a tailored type of girl.

I just need to clean everything up.

I'm telling you, this is perfect.

Do not change the zipper. Leave it like that.

What is this?

I'm making a very sexy top and a very sexy, like, you know, skirt inside, like

doja cat.

So it's a whole new look. We're leaving this room in less than 10 minutes.

Oh, God.

Oh, my God. So,

I'm a little worried.

Their collection is very good, very strong, and very done.

I'm definitely stressing.

The law is going to cut you up.

Oh, Lord.

Hello. Hi, how are you? Hello, how's this? And welcome to the runway. As you

know, in fashion, one day you're in, and the next day... you're out each house

was asked to create a capsule collection transforming something boring into

something brilliant oh my god i hope it is brilliant we can't wait to see what

you've made for the runway all right first let's meet our judges cfda award

-winning stylist and image architect la roche guest judge

co -founder of the fashion line's favorite daughter sarah foster

and actress, model, and icon, Sofia Vergara.

Amore. I missed you.

Hi, guys.

Hi. You guys look wonderful.

Not only is she my dear friend, but she will be wearing the winning look to an

upcoming event.

This is so exciting. Thank you very much for being our guest, and I'm hoping

that this is good.

All right, let's start the show.

This is the outfit I want my brand to be in the world of. I am kind of loving

the material, though, even though it's boring.

It looks like something that's from a different era, but it also looks like a

little bit futuristic in a way.

This is hot.

If you have the legs for it, this is amazing.

You have them. No, I don't. You do.

I am so ecstatic. Those cutouts are on fire.

It's a dangerous dress.

She's sexy, but very mysterious.

And I really love it.

Oh, my God.

I took very basic wool to something extraordinary.

Wow. I love it. So the people who always choose me last, my skills are delicious

and top tier.

When I finish a garment, it fits the body like a glove.

That looks expensive.

My look looks expensive, well -tailored, well -made.

I think it looks really cool on the runway with the dramatic color, the

coming down.

Sofia is smiling.

What an honor to see Sofia Vergara. I can't stop looking at my design and I

like I've done it again.

See my full mermaid gown.

I'm so proud of myself for really understanding the inspiration of the

flower and the structure of it made it so beautiful. And looking at Sofia

Vergara's face smiling, like saying, wow, spectacular.

I can see you wearing that one. Yeah, like all of them.

I'm so proud of my house. We made the collection that we were set up to

Good luck, Ethan.

This is a showstopper. It's grand.

It has silhouettes. It takes denim, makes it fun. The window works.

I set out to create a grand moment, and I did that.

How do you get inside that car when you don't?

I wanted to be a team player.

It has the frayed edges, almost like a little cape.

That's just who I am as a designer. When I commit to something, I just go for

it.

I don't know what to think. There's a lot going on on this one.

I'm really proud of my denim jacket.

The overall look, the fit came out really good.

Oh, I love that.

My idea of a showstopper is simplicity and volume.

So I could see her taking it onto a red carpet to be like a cool but quirky

girl, but still like that it girl.

Or she just put it like a stroll down the street.

But listen, come on now. It's a moment, baby.

To do that with denim, that's not easy.

Yes, girl!

When she opened that cape.

That's the sexiest thing I've ever seen in my life. This look represents my

resilience. It really shows how I can make something totally new in six hours.

I'm going to see your last film when you go to Coachella.

Yes,

Steve -O!

As frantic as it was, our individuality was really shown.

And we did the job of showstoppers. And the whole collection, I think that it's

cool. But if the judges don't like it...

I could be on the chopping block.

Okay, we scored your designs, and one house was truly brilliant.

The winning look will come from the winning house, while the eliminated

will come from the losing house.

House of Jesus, you were our

favorite house.

Wow. Congrats, guys.

Wow, wow, wow.

It feels very empowering to be a leader and to have my house win, to be in the

top three first week, to one second week, and then now third week again.

Good job, Jesus.

Okay, House of Utica. We're going to talk to you later. You can leave the

runway. Thank you.

No, not the House of Ho being in the bottom.

Damn.

How could you put something this thickening in the bottom? Tell me,

Tell me.

Well, what a day.

I'm not surprised we're in the bottom. I think we got carried away with Ethan's

plan to create a showstopper piece.

Definitely a little frustrating.

Congratulations. Thank you.

I felt like you worked together. I was so impressed with the tailoring.

So impressive.

Spectacular. I mean, I could definitely wear many of those designs that you guys

prepared this time.

Thank you. We want to talk to the three designers with our three favorite looks.

Jesus. Wow.

Antonio.

And Polania.

Congrats. Woo!

So that means Madeline and DJ.

You're safe. You can leave the runway.

Thank you so much.

Thank you.

All right, let's bring out your models.

Hi. Oh, my God.

This material is nothing boring at all.

Amazing. It actually makes it elegant. The material makes it elegant.

Yeah, expensive.

This is by far the best looks of the season so far.

I can really see each and every one of you being a winner in this challenge.

Yeah. All right. Jesus, we're going to start with you first. I really am

impressed. I mean, wool can go very wrong. That could look floppy, and it

impeccable. Thank you. Like the way that you tailored this coat.

That was risky.

I mean, I usually can't wear things that have so much volume over here, but I

think I could because it's open, low.

It's amazing. It's spectacular, and I think this could look beautiful in any

woman. Gracias.

You did a really good job at taking a fabric that's considered as boring, but

think it's absolutely sophisticated. Thank you so much. And you shut me up

twice. Wow.

Two runways in a row, so congratulations.

Thank you, Jesus.

Another one of our favorite looks came from Balania.

This thing falling down her neck, I've never seen anything like it in my life.

It's a lot, but it's not.

I think it was perfect for this material. It was perfect for the color.

It was perfect for me.

It feels timeless. I can see a superstar or a model of every era wearing this

suit. Truly, I see it. I would definitely put Zidane in it. Without a

It's super sexy.

She can show her shoulders.

All the pretty parts of a woman is showing.

The peplum. She's almost like this race. It was. And the peplum. There are no

notes. This felt.

Like something I had never saw before. And I've seen so many clothes.

But this I will never forget.

Ever. Please, you're going to make me cry right now.

You should be very proud.

Thank you. Thank you.

So many long, long, long years I was not seen, not recognized for my skills and

abilities. So getting praise for it feels really good.

It definitely confirms and reaffirms why I'm here and I feel seen.

That leaves us with Antonio.

It's gorgeous.

Thank you. I can also see Sophia wear this. Yeah. It's elegant. It's

spectacular. Absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you so much. But that being said, I just want to point out a couple things

that I think could have made it a little better. Had you trimmed the petal

that's coming down just a little bit, just to pull the, snatch the waist in.

All right, it's time to name the winner.

The winning look truly wowed us by taking gray wool and bringing in

detail, and really a lot of elegance to bring brilliance out of boring.

Never boring.

Well, Sofia, since you are going to be wearing the winning look, I'll give you

the honor.

I mean, I will wear all of them. But if I only had money for one, I would

say Delania.

Yay!

Oh, thank you. Oh, my gosh.

Congratulations, Balania. Thank you. Thank you. I'm shocked. Literally, I'm

like... And Sofรญa Vergara is going to wear your look.

Oh, yes!

Work that body.

Have the faces.

You can leave the runway.

Bravo. Gracias.

Whoa, I've won a challenge on Project Runway.

That's what made me born like a baby. I was like, please, y 'all, stop.

Winning this challenge makes me feel like I'm getting closer to defining who

am as a designer.

Finally, seeing a little bit of the vision and the light of what's been

of me for so long. So don't choose me last, y 'all.

Choose me first.

And we can win together.

All right, let's talk to House of Ethan, or should I say House of Musica?

Yeah, I'm not surprised. I kind of had a feeling, you know, Ethan's leadership

for this challenge was an epic fail.

The direction that we were going as a team was all wrong, and here we are.

All right, House of Musica?

Tell us about your collection.

I come from the world of drag.

So I brought this idea to the team of creating showstoppers, to create a

to create big silhouettes. And I think we did a darn good job getting that aha.

I understand that you wanted to have the wow.

You know, we also want to be wowed. But I feel like you didn't keep in mind

Sophia.

Sophia will wear the winning look, so it's kind of like, don't you have this

the back of your head? Most importantly, we would like to bring out the three

looks that we like to leave.

Joseph, Eugene, you're safe. You can leave the runway.

Thank you, guys. Thank you. Thank you.

Which means Joan, Angelo, and Jessica.

Unfortunately, you created our least favorite look.

All right, let's bring out your models.

Okay, Angelo, let's talk about your design.

This is so much to look at. It's so busy in all the wrong places.

I like the jacket.

Does the jacket come off? Yeah.

The jacket with the corset and the pants would have been very wearable. Turn

around, please.

Everything looks so crooked.

No.

Angelo, thank you.

All right, Joan.

It's a very confusing design.

Those pieces of denim are not beautiful to look at. You don't even want to touch

them. It looks shredded. You look like something bad happened to it. I mean, no

doubt she would get worse dressed in that.

That does not look luxe.

Well, you know, I'm an evening wear designer, and this was the assignment.

is the direction we were given as a team, you know, and I'm trying to be a

player. Direction from who, your leader?

Yes.

We submitted sketches. This is what was selected for me to design. And now

you're in the bottom because you let somebody push you away from what your

aesthetic is.

There is a lot of pressure to create a vibe and guide a team to victory.

It doesn't feel great, but my leadership could be the weakest link.

I just, I'm confused why you guys felt like you had to push as far as you did.

We decided to create things that are quintessentially us, but we did not keep

you in mind. Now, that's what I'm all about, these big, beautiful, like...

I love, but I feel like there is a time and a place. When I saw your look walk

out, I was just like...

The cervix is dilated and she's crowning.

That is exactly what it is. That's what it is. It's true.

I have a bottle opener at home that looks just like it for my beer.

Let's see the back, please.

No. That's bad, too. Oh.

I think you let the drag persona take over.

this week and i think you should have held her back because this is too over

top it doesn't make sense it's not beautiful it's not flattering i am

really disappointed in you i'm in shock actually that's you it's difficult being

up here being knocked down by the judges and my team it does not feel good i am

really pissed off about this collection i did not come to work and get this

beautiful glam to look at a bunch of ugly clothes I'm sorry. I am pissed off.

I'm mad.

Sorry.

Okay. Utica, Joan, Angelo, we have to discuss what we've heard.

And sadly, one of you will be out.

You can leave the runway. Thank you.

Thank you.

Terrible. And it really pissed me off. It's like a Project Runway denim costume

party.

You know, it doesn't feel good being on the bottom because it wasn't me

designing truly from who I am and my design aesthetic. And now I'm being, you

know, criticized for that.

They thought it was the ugliest thing they've ever seen in their life. But

okay. What I don't like is that Ethan thought too much about himself.

Yeah, exactly.

Because our eyes popped out of our heads when we saw Utica standing next to this

look. I'm sorry, Ethan should have been here and not Utica tonight, babe.

Right. I thought Angelo was the worst, to be quite honest. There was no real

construction.

He made a great jacket because he makes menswear, but the jacket was just okay.

He plays safe, so he didn't make it as crazy, and that's why we were more drawn

to say this one is better, but it wasn't. Better. It wasn't better. He's

here before, so we have to take that into account.

I'm on the bottom again. It sucks because I didn't get a chance yet to

Go full force and show my best ability.

I'm not ready to go home.

What about Joan?

Joan, that dress.

The less offensive. The less offensive out of the three. But no one would

wear that outfit.

I am feeling very frustrated.

My hands were tied. This is not what I wanted to do. I have so much more to

show. I am not ready to go home. I'm just getting warmed up.

For me, it boils down to, do we send home?

the person that took leadership in the bad collection.

And made the worst look? Or send home the person that had the least amount of

point of view and sewing talent.

If we didn't know who did this and the designer was not standing next to the

look, who would go?

I think they can all go.

Same. This would be a first for Project Runway, but maybe it's time we do it.

Next time on Project Runway. From Abbott Elementary.

Chris Perfetti and Lisa Ann Walter.

This is the Unconventional Materials Challenge.

A party's breaking out. Hey, hey, hey, what are you doing?

Okay, she's Barbie with the pink bitch gun.

I told you they're working together again.

It's annoying.

Oh, my God. Popsicle dress. Oh, it's something. I mean, the whole booty is

It just slipped so fast.

It looks like dead vegetation.

This is so f***ed up.
