Previously on Project Runway. I'm back!
I'm having a slight flashback because in my other season, it was also a team
challenge, and I'm having a little PTSD.
What's happening? I already need a martini. All right. In season 19, I left
episode one, but I'm very confident about what I made for this challenge.
Literally, like, my interns could throw that in 30 minutes. I'm a Gemini. I take
critiques very, like, don't tell me what to do.
That was the one that I'm using. Okay, well, I can do this, too.
BJ is in her own bubble.
She's very Santa -ish.
This is my very last.
She's what we call in the business.
Congratulations, Ethan. You're the winner of this challenge.
Shut up.
Casey, Joseph, and Antonio.
He had the three bottom look.
Am I being punk?
Oh, he's spicy.
I don't think there's any reason to be defensive. No, I'm not being defensive
all. Casey is very lackluster and what he then wrapped around to me looked like
an afterthought.
Do we say home the bad dress or the bad attitude?
Very emotional.
I can't believe this is happening again.
Why am I here?
I want to go home.
A stake for the winner is $200 ,000, a spread in Elle magazine, and a life
-changing mentorship with the CFDA.
This is Project Runway.
I really, like, can't handle.
Okay, it's okay, it's okay. It's not the criticism, it's just, like, being in
this position again.
I'm pretty shocked I'm in the bottom three.
After being eliminated on episode one of another season, I can't believe it
could happen again. It just feels like a bad joke.
I can't go home. I didn't get to show who I was as a designer.
Let's prove to them that we can make it to the end.
My brother and I are supposed to make it to the end together. I can't believe
I'm in the bottom.
I might be going home.
We're ready?
Casey, Antonio, Joseph, we've made our decision.
Joseph, you're safe. You can leave the runway.
Thank you.
Thank you, Joseph.
Casey, you had the most beautiful fabric, but it was evident.
you had unresolved design problems.
Antonio, I actually thought your dress was delicious, but your attitude was
despicable.
Hmm.
Casey, Antonio, one of you will be in, and one of you will be
out.
Antonio?
You're in.
You can leave the runway.
I'll work about it.
Casey.
I'm so sorry, but that means you're out. Yes.
Oh, my God, you're so sweet.
I'm so grateful to have met you.
Good luck.
Thank you.
Bye, guys.
Casey.
Come here.
I'm so glad I got to meet you guys. I'm, like, beyond shocked to be eliminated
for this look.
Casey. Yes.
I know it's rough going on the first.
It's hard. But you're so talented. That's why you're here. That's why you
back, right? Thank you. Think about, hold that strong. Thank you, Christian.
I'm going to send you to the workroom, clean up your space, think about
everybody, okay? Okay, thank you. And good luck.
It feels harsh to leave the stage of the competition again.
I definitely feel like I wish I could have shown more, but I still am really
proud of it.
Project Runway is an experience I will never forget, and I'm probably finished
with as of now.
All right.
Come back, sit around. We're not done.
Mom! What?
Listen, I don't know how much we can take today.
Competition is very real now.
You just saw it. Casey walked out the door. So quick.
Ethan, congratulations.
Thank you so much.
I have something extra for you.
Oh, what do you got, Mama?
Because you guys are going to continue to work in houses a little longer.
As the winning designer in the next challenge, you're going to have an
opportunity to swap.
A designer from a house.
Christian Siriano really came in and was like, let me just drop a rock into this
pond. Think on it.
Like Heidi said, new house, new rules.
Okay. You'll decide at the next challenge.
The houses aren't over yet.
Get ready for it.
Bring it on. I think I know what I'm going to do. Things are about to get
Jump ropes.
A Pilates ring in.
Hey, guys, guys, listen to this.
Here's a gift.
Put these on and meet me in the workroom, Christian. What?
Let's go.
Thank you.
That last challenge was a lot for me and Antonio.
I think you are being defensive and also a little bit rude.
Sorry if you hate the coat.
I hate the whole look. But at the same time, blah.
Don't you worry. We're about to prove you all wrong.
All right, everybody, let's go to the workroom.
My strategy about this switch is I really want to make sure I'm making the
decision for me. So do I get rid of Jesus, the voice for this one?
All I have to do is prove him wrong. Or BJ, that it's hard to work with. How's
it going, Diva?
So, here's to the right choice.
I like to shake it up and keep that body working.
And class begins.
All right, come on, get zen, get comfortable, get on your mat.
I don't know any yoga poses. Does anybody know yoga poses?
Okay, come show me.
Yoga is not my thing.
I'm the type of person that gets really bored in the gym.
Ben, that's me. Yes. My workout is walking to that coffee shop and then
people watching. That's my workout.
I have to take a poll or something.
So you're going to continue to work in houses, Ethan.
Remember, you have the power to swap a member of your house.
I think I am going to do a swap.
A swap.
Uh -oh.
If Ethan is smart enough, he's going to keep me because he knows what I'm
capable of doing and he knows I'm a strong designer.
I think he should get rid of BJ because she has not been a team player and bring
over Antonio.
So I'm going to swap.
Jesus with Madeline.
Jesus and Madeline.
Wow.
You messed up, honey.
I hope you don't regret your decision.
I have full confidence that you're going to kill it. And I really want to see
this dynamic happen.
Because y 'all have been claiming that y 'all are a powerhouse together.
And I want to see it. Well, get ready.
They are all talk.
They run a store together, but I'd love to see this store close, baby.
All right. For this challenge, each house must create a cohesive activewear
capsule collection where the collection goes from workout to the weekend with
one of the hottest activewear companies,
Haleah.
To give you guys some more insight into Kalia, we have a special guest, vice
president and head designer for Kalia, Alicia Scott.
Hi,
guys.
So good to meet all of you. We created Kalia about 10 years ago and really
wanted to form a brand that is the perfect juxtaposition of fashion and
femininity and function.
And I love how you guys have all styled all your pieces you got today.
Our entire collection is rooted in performance.
If you're designing a look for Pilates or run, it needs to be able to function.
We believe there's beauty in the burn.
How's it going to work whenever she's doing a downward dog?
Make sure that when you're designing a piece, it can be used for working out,
going to grab coffee, going out to grab cocktails with your friends. It needs to
be versatile.
So not only had Clea provided lookbook, she also provided all the fabrication.
For the challenge, that's not all.
Kalia is going to produce and sell the winning look from the winning
That would be so cool to have a Joseph McCrae and Kalia produced. I feel like
would eat down.
I love the idea of this, like, beauty in the burn.
So what if we have, like, fire on the runway?
Like, actual fire.
So you'll have all of today and part of tomorrow to create your fire -worthy
collection. Don't you love a one -day challenge?
Yes.
One day to do this, as if there weren't enough stress already.
The burn of it all.
Bye. Bye.
Ethan, you want to see what it's like when you put Antonio and I together?
It's going to be game on.
And it's going to push me to even do better to beat him. And then he's going
realize that he f***ed up.
Girl, whatever.
What's our team?
Wow. Team winner.
Team winning.
No, it has something to do with...
Fire. Team first.
I guess it's final answer.
I'm glad I put together a strong team.
I really wanted to equalize the energy of our group by putting all of the
boisterous energy that one team.
I'm actually very happy that Ethan let
go his suit because I don't want another drama.
That was the one that I'm using. Okay, well, I can use it too.
And it could be hot to do the line in the pop of red.
So we'll all have the lines incorporated.
Yeah. Okay.
I just want to be cohesive. I do like this color story
situation going on over here. But we got to pick a group of fabrics and all go
with it, you guys.
We decided to call our team the House of Lotus because we wanted to feel the zen
within the burn.
And so coming off the last challenge, being in the bottom, Our stickler was
cohesion. So as we're going through these fabrics that Kalia provided us,
really paying attention to what color palette we want to do so that we really
nail that cohesion this time.
Because if we miss it two times in a row, we're going to be done for.
I love this fabric.
I was trying to get the colors out of this.
This has all your colors.
Once again, Antonio is choosing the fabric, and I'm getting a little anxious
because the last time he chose fabric, we were in the bottom.
Can y 'all roll the tape back? The fabric that I brought from home is in
so let's have the inspiration of our collection be butterflies.
That's the best one out of all of them. I think we should go with that. I don't
like that. No? Mm -mm.
You like this better?
I mean, I liked it. I don't like that either, but I mean it.
That's what I wanted to start with. Miss Joan, I want to know. It is what it is.
Oh, is the drama already beginning?
You know, working with the twins, you know, they're a whole vibe, but our
have to be cohesive.
I love Miss Joan, but she's a little, little old school and stuck in the back
the days.
This fabric is so cool. It's just more young.
I'll make it work.
Don't use that. Fabric scissors, you nincompoop.
I love Alex.
I didn't expect this competition to become so connective so quickly.
And me and Alex bonded so quickly.
It's so soft. It's so cozy. Like, she's going to be in it and be like, wow.
I want it. I'm making a lounge sweatsuit with a corset bustier top.
It all sprouted from trying to use the aspects of a kimono. I grew up
in Greensboro, North Carolina, but my nana was a tailor.
Nagasaki, Japan.
So I find a lot of inspiration in what the Japanese call intangible cultural
treasures. But my mama would say that I don't bring enough of the South with me.
How are you feeling this week?
Oh, great.
It looks really cool.
Thank you so much. I appreciate that. You are absolutely looking at the next
winner of Project Runway.
My design aesthetic is a combination of streetwear and elegance. I want to win
Project Runway for my daughter, Ava.
It's right here.
Having her change me as a person gave me so much more drive, and I do this all
for her. So I have to make this stand out and hopefully wow the judges.
Madeline, what informs your work?
I'm trying to always, like...
The things that I like about vintage fashion, but then giving it like my own
little twist.
What about yourself?
I grew up in like a hoedunk farm town.
I just felt inherently so different from the rest of my family. The only thing I
could really do was, you know, rely on my own creativity and imagination to
of distract me from maybe not feeling like I belong there.
Did they accept you as you are? You know, when I finally did.
Come out. They were like, we don't get it yet, but we just don't want to lose
you. So we're going to try to figure this out.
I feel really blessed to be able to have my family in my life. So it makes me
want to really push myself to win this for them.
Hello. Hey, Christian.
How's the team going?
I do think the silhouette of this skirt, you still have to figure out.
Oh, Lord, you might send me home.
I am a technical designer, and I am a serious workaholic. My family is
and I've always been raised with all the elders around me doing multiple things.
Even if it's not their job, they're going to figure out how to do it that
and do it. So I have to push myself because this workout to weekend
taking me out of my comfort zone.
I really wanted to do something that was extremely comfortable.
I think it feels a little too demure.
I think I made the right decision.
I was the one who thought to use this print because Ms. Joan didn't like it.
still doesn't like it. Okay. So you did it again?
You wanted a print again.
Everybody wants this print?
Groundbreaking, this circle skirt.
Yeah. Mm -hmm. I can cut a circle out right now and do this in 10 minutes.
Really?
We're kind of not the exact same look from the last challenge, but... You're
making a jacket and a skirt?
A jacket and a skirt.
Let me tell you a little something about Christian Seriano.
Christian is coming to work real online.
Are you sure about that? Or he be walking around like, oh, okay.
That little face be killing me with them glasses and that hair perfectly
squashed into the thigh.
The top being fabulous is very important here. We should develop this more
because you already know you can make a cool jacket.
I'm going to listen to Christian because I know I'm taking a risk, but I do not
want to be in the bottom again.
You got a lot to do. I got you. Okay. Let's get it.
I'm kind of going for like that modern with a little bit of Tron. The sash
doesn't do anything.
She couldn't do any athletic things with this hanging.
What are all these lines on this?
So I kind of want to achieve this kind of like texture.
All of these lines you're going to weave.
The inspiration for this design is the Kalia logo.
It's like a twisted string.
It's like very dynamic.
What are you doing?
It's going to be like a more like athletic, fancy
corset bustier kind of thing.
This makes no sense for an athletic look.
That scares me.
Athleisure specifically is not something that I normally do.
Unfortunately, time is not on our side in this competition.
Christian has his doubts about this corset, but we're sticking to our guns.
Hmm.
What are you doing?
I am doing an oversized hoodie, which I'm thinking about cropping. I did the
tuck in my hand.
It's going to have the same pin tuck in all over the pants as well. So you're
also doing a sweat.
Oversized sweat. Oversized sweat pant in the same fabric. Is the pant wide? Like
that wide?
You haven't even looked at each other's stuff and she's right in front of you.
Honestly, I really don't know much about what my team is doing.
This is it. Yeah, it looks very similar.
I haven't looked at the other designers on my team. I've just been too focused.
So we just have a wide pant off on the runway in the same fabric.
What the? Like, what am I going to do next? I need to think fast and pivot
some other different silhouette. If I don't succeed, I'm worried it might put
on the bottom.
So I'm looking at Team Lotus, and it does not fit the brief that we got.
So we both have mesh.
Their looks are looking a little all over the place. I think that we're going
take this one home.
And look at the other team.
It's like crickets in that side of the room. No one's really talking to each
other. And here we are, like, you know, blah, blah, blah.
And then at night, she just puts a glove on, honey.
Okay, this, do this. Like, we're helping each other.
Yes.
Yes. Ethan, I hate to tell you, but you will be the losing team.
Are you ready? Let's go!
Models, let's go!
This very cool jacket with
a pleated skirt.
That's the top? I think so.
So how does one do anything athletic in that top?
Shop.
I think I'm over here eating it up, and this is like, yeah, no.
Are we playing tennis where you tie your arms up?
If I don't come through with this bra, like, I feel like the whole look is
to go kaput.
So different when I do that on paper and do that on you.
You trend pleated skirt.
It's really short. I thought it was a mistake, but it's not a mistake.
Because my line is a lot.
You decided?
Yeah, I'm going to do some nice shorts and then the cargo pocket.
That shoe? Are you nuts? What kind of shoe? Black?
Whoa, what?
Nothing behind nothing.
That's a Tic Tac shoe?
You have no side seams.
Uh -uh, there's no side seams. Interesting.
You can't do that.
Look at her butt.
That's crazy.
These pants are styled after a Japanese hakama pant where there aren't really
side seams and all of the volume is put into pleats across the back. Since we're
paying homage to my Japanese ancestress, it's really important for me to nail
this look that I make. And I am feeling the pressure.
Bye, models.
Thank you so much.
Hello?
You're going to be laughing when that little hem falls out.
I'm going to tear it up. I'm feeling really good about my look.
But what if your team doesn't?
But after the model fitting, I'm feeling a little worried about my team.
Alex has these grand ideas, but she is running out of time.
And Angelo's work is looking a little simple. If Jesus kills it, then I lost a
valuable player. I hope that I made the right decision.
Guys, our music's right here. Look who it is.
All right, designers, send your models to the Ulta Beauty Salon.
We got three hours to finish up these looks and send these girls down the
runway.
Glowy, dewy kind of thing. I love it. Maybe something that's been smudged a
little bit.
That's it right there. Bye.
Bye, everybody. Y 'all have fun.
Until next time.
Is there, um...
A leader this time?
No, because I think we don't want to have a leader technically because we
want to blame someone.
The last team challenge, I think Jesus was acting as the leader because he
talked a lot.
But this time, we don't have a leader, so it's a mess.
All right, five minutes, you guys. Five minutes. We're leaving this room.
That's the back of the pants?
Mm -hmm. Okay.
Well, I know I ain't gonna die.
I'm worried about Alex.
She's looking not finished.
Child. I mean, I got what? How many minutes? I am really concerned with how
top is turning out and the cut of the pants.
Are there pockets?
No. No. All right. But there's no more time and nothing else to do about it.
All right, designers, that's it. That's time.
Welcome to the runway. As you know, in fashion, one day you're in, and the next
day, you're out. For this challenge, we asked you to create a cohesive
activewear collection for Kalia that goes from workout to weekend. You worked
teams, and you had only one day to create your collection.
All right, let's meet our judges.
CFDA award -winning stylist and image architect, La Roche.
Editor -in -chief of Elle magazine, Nina Garcia.
And our guest judge and co -owner of the fashion line, favorite daughter, Sarah
Foster.
I'm so excited to see Miss Sarah Foster. She has a really good head on her
shoulders around how to make a woman feel beautiful and comfortable in the
clothes. She's gorgeous.
Okay, we're ready. Let's start the show. It's going to be flaming hot.
Hot. I wish I had a marshmallow.
You've got flammable hair now. Wait a minute. I told you it was going to be
and I was not talking about Hans and Franz.
I do feel like I have successfully captured the essence of this challenge
creating something that goes from workout to weekend.
With the pin tucking, the silhouette, the styling was really good.
I'm feeling really confident.
She's a professional.
I'm very proud of this look. My look looks very modern, sexy, and fun.
And the red line on the jacket is everything.
That is a short skirt, but she's got some good legs.
I'm just looking at the outfit. It's not as bad as I expected it to be, but I
know what's going on on the inside.
Sassy.
Betsy, I'm not happy about it. It could have been worse. It could have also been
better. I like that. I would wear that.
You're very generous.
Oh, no.
With my athleisure look, I'm feeling pretty satisfied.
I like it. I think it's cute. It's nothing, like, really shocking.
But I am just elated that the athleisure challenge is in the past.
She's got it.
This is what it means to have greatness.
She looks amazing.
I've worked hard to achieve that detail, those strings woven by hand. I cut all
those holes individually. It takes a lot of work to create that textile. I want
to make sure that every piece that I make is a labor of love.
I don't get that curly hair with that.
With that side fin.
Flowing down the runway, it's got movement.
Oh, it looks so good.
I would wear that now.
I may have played a little bit too hard this week, so I'm hoping that it can
pull this team through to the win.
This look is very universal.
This girl can do Pilates and then put some heels on, put a jacket on, and go
have a cocktail with the girls at night.
I'm proud of myself.
It would mean a lot to win this challenge and have that collab with
I'm happy with how this looks turned out. I feel like it's me. And
I'm starting to be more confident in what I'm designing and believe whatever
creating is good.
I see my look coming down the runway, and I'm thinking, okay, yes. Even though
didn't choose this fabric, I was able to be a team player.
And I think that she looks fabulous.
I love the drama.
I nailed it.
Well,
we know who that is.
My model is looking.
So everything.
And then she unzips this jacket, and it's just like, oh, welcome to the
Bring out the toss. I took a risk with almost recreating my previous look, and
hope this paid off.
That's my girl.
Wow, like, I'm just literally getting chills. The way she's walking, the way
that the pants are moving, how powerful she looks.
I'm feeling great.
I could definitely see this in stores and see a lot of people wanting these
pens, wanting this bomber, even the bag.
I love that.
Our team, everything was executed beautifully, and I think that that
the runway. We did it, guys.
We did it.
I am not worried about myself, but it's hard to tell, you know, it's two
different vibes.
So I hope that the Switch doesn't come back to bite me in the butt.
Hello, hello, hello.
Bravo. That was a show worthy of fire. Congrats to all of you. We have scored
your designs, and one house ran circles around the other.
Here we go.
Antonio, Joan, Joseph,
Jesus, and Philania, you are the winning house.
What?
Alex, Angelo, Madeline, Eugene, BJ, and Ethan.
You are our least favorite collection.
Damn. We're going to talk to you later, and you can leave the runway.
Damn it.
My squad being in the bottom.
That's unfortunate.
I don't know what happened.
I don't get it.
We just clearly took two different directions, team -wise.
Tips fall where they may, right?
This challenge meant a lot to me. I just got in my head. I just hope that I get
to stay.
Congratulations. What we really liked about your collection is that there was
cohesion. Thank you for that.
All right, we would like to talk to the designers that were our three favorite
looks. And that is you, Joseph.
Oh, yeah.
And you, Jesus.
Thank you.
So that means Jones.
Yes. And Antonio.
You're safe.
But I do have to tell you, Antonio, we all thought that yours was our least
favorite in the winning team.
Thank you so much. You can leave the runway. Nice meeting you guys. Bye.
My brother's on the top again for the second week. I thought my look was
good. I want to be on top. What's up?
So I'm just ready to prove these judges wrong.
All right, let's bring out your models.
Come on, girl.
Yes.
We're going to start with the designer where we didn't have to guess a whole
who made it, and that is Joseph.
Without a doubt, when we saw her walk down the wrong way, we knew it was you.
And I think she could actually work out in this because of her little shorts
under. Oh!
Oh, surprise, surprise.
Yay. And she can throw on a pump or a heel and go straight to the weekend,
that was the challenge.
Thank you so much.
I would wear that jacket to the gym, but then I'd also wear it to dinner that
night with a pair of jeans.
I'm into you. I don't know how else I can say it. I mean, I'm just into all of
it. I like your look, too. I like her vibe. It stands out. It's memorable.
To me, she's badass and flirty at the same time.
Thank you, Joseph. Thank you so much, everyone.
All right, Belania, you're next. Oh, Lauren. I really love the work that you
on the top.
I think it's really beautiful. I love all the detail that you made with
the pockets, correct?
And I love the fact that you considered an option. She can be reserved with the
turtleneck, and she can be super sexy without it. Yep. I mean, I like that
fabric, as you can see. The detail of the skirt is...
Really cool, and it's a flattering waistband.
Waistbands can go very unflattering very easily, whatever it is I like it.
All right, that leaves us with Jesus.
Jesus, I have to say this.
You have done something that a lot of people cannot do, and that is to shut me
up. Wow. I was so tough on you on the runway, and you were in the winning
and I was still tough on you on the runway.
I actually hated her look. She doesn't look cool. She doesn't look young.
I think this is so versatile.
I think that a girl could really work out with this. Yeah, work out with it
then wear it out on the weekend.
I would wear those pants in a heartbeat.
The pant turns into a straight leg pant.
She could wear it like this. I mean, she could open up a little. Well done on
that.
Fabulous. Chic and effortless.
What I also love is the detail. The fact that you thought about the zipper on
the side. Can you turn around?
And that little pocket with that little black detail.
Those details all matter. Right?
Yeah. Thank you, Nina. I want to be this girl that would wear this.
Thank you so much.
But now is the moment of truth.
There can only be one winner.
And Jesus, it's you. You were our favorite. Congratulations.
Oh, he's crying.
Don't be hiding those tears. I want to see them.
Those are tears of joy.
Yeah. Not only are you the winner.
Crazy. But that also means that Kalia will also produce and sell your look.
I'm going to buy it. Me too. I love it. Congratulations.
We're all going to wear it. We're all going to wear it.
Wow. Thank you guys so much.
All right, you can leave the runway.
Thank you.
Oh, my gosh, we did it.
Ethan, you got rid of me, and I prove you wrong.
I truly believe that if I would have stayed in his team, we would have won
again.
I won!
When I came on Project Runway 15 years ago, I was so young.
I wasn't really out of the closet at that time.
And I didn't know who I was as a designer. And now coming back, I am a
gay, queer boy.
So to win the challenge and do this collab with Kalia, it just reassured my
purpose of why I'm here. To create really amazing stuff and to be on top.
Unfortunately, you were our least favorite collection.
Ethan, your team.
You.
Unfortunately, you were our least favorite collection.
Ethan, your team, you.
Ethan, tell us, why do you think you guys are up here?
Yeah, I think we did a great job.
I think you did a great job.
You had my favorite piece. I agree. So modern. Thank you. Do you regret
switching one person out?
I... I don't want to say I shot myself in the foot because I love our team.
I don't believe you.
I think you knew that you had a great look and you didn't give a f*** about
other people on the team.
Damn.
All right, Alex, Angelo, and BJ.
You are our least favorite looks.
That means Eugene, Ethan, and Madeline.
You're safe. You can leave the runway.
Thank you.
All right, BJ, let's start with you.
Let's start with the positives because there is a positive here. The
I think, is nice. I like the length. I like that it's not a midi and it's not a
mini. I think that's versatile. A lot of people can wear that. It's just really,
that's all I liked about it.
You guys like the tie? I love the tie. I think it kind of looks like a tampon. I
think, oh!
I mean, this is, this is unwearable.
I also don't understand this girl. I think the work that you've done, I think
it's quite beautiful.
But it doesn't scream active wear to me at all. Like, I don't get it. That's the
problem. That's the problem, yeah. You needed to make this a top, a pair of
black leggings, and call it a day, and you would have had a hit.
This didn't need to be a cocktail dress.
Out of context.
All right, Angelo, let's hear about your look.
I designed men's streetwear, so I just wanted to stay true to myself.
I think where you have to be careful, Angelo, is that... It felt to me a
safe and boring.
You really need to bring in a sense of drama.
Step it up. Listen, I'm a basic bitch. So I love sweat. I think this is cool.
I like this. It's different. You know what I mean? It's not for me, but I
appreciate that you added that detail on sweat. I think it's really well made.
It's just that there was no showmanship to it. You know, I think that's where
you fell flat.
Okay. Thank you.
All right, Alex.
Tell us about your look. So quite a few of my pieces are also inspired by
kimonos. I incorporate into the way that I create different pieces.
Is that part of your heritage, the kimono?
Yes. My grandmother was Japanese. Okay. So I go to the sauna a lot, and I love a
corset. I don't care what the situation is.
At the sauna.
Well, obviously, you're not going to wear a corset in the sauna, but post
-sauna, you can. But you gave her a corset. She doesn't look comfortable at
She can't work out in this.
Guys, the story has to match.
You cannot piss on me and tell me it's raining.
I'm sorry. Okay, well, the corset, you're right. But the pant and the
top, I did like. I liked the movement coming down the runway. I don't know
it was coming down. I was like, oh, it looks kind of like Laura Piana vibes.
Laura Piana vibes.
Come on, guys.
Turn around, please.
No. Do you see the seam of the pant when she turns around?
There's the pucker ring.
Yeah, it is a struggle in the back. There's a little bit of a problem with
bib that falls from the corset. I think there's too many ideas put in. The flap
in the front, the flaps down the arm. She's playing Amish to her heritage.
Yes, I love that. But I don't see that in the look at all. No.
All right.
There's a lot for us to talk about. You can leave the runway.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Let's talk about Angelo.
It is a tough competition to be in if you're that much of a minimalist because
this is a show and you're competing with people that are going to razzle dazzle.
You have to remember you are in a competition.
You have to remember that. Give us a show.
BJ's look was actually really good.
I hated it.
The ties were insane.
I thought the dress was really well made. It was just out of contact.
Yes, I would buy that. It was the wrong story.
The sneakers with it is for me the worst. Yeah. She has to really watch out
her styling because I don't think she's got it together.
And it's, as we all know, a full polish look that has to come down. Yeah.
It may not be at leisure wear, but I hope that the judges will appreciate the
hard work that I put in that dress.
Alexis was an eyesore.
The execution was really poor. And frankly, I also thought her styling was
Yeah. That is a top. I can work with that, like with jeans. And I literally
can't work with any of it. I do not want to be part of a judging panel where
everybody gets a trophy.
It was really bad.
It was bad. I agree.
I'm not ready to go home this early in the game. I want my daughter to see her
dad give it his all to achieve the dream of becoming the next big thing in
fashion. It has been so much fun. I'm so pissed off.
It's disappointing knowing what you have to offer and not doing that.
I just hope that I have the chance to show people what I bring to the table as
creative. Oh, God.
My girl, Alex, she's in the bottom.
I wonder if things would have been different if I kept Jesus and next to
Maybe I should have been more of a leader.
There's a part of me that's thinking, this is because of me.
One mistake can send you home.
Bridget Cronwee, I know it's going to change my life for the better.
I just hope that the judges will give me another chance.
Next time on Project Runway. I think we're going to blow it up. Ethan and
you'll be picking your houses. I always wanted to start my own house.
Each house must show that boring can be brilliant.
Sofia Vergara will wear the winning look.
What is all that?
Fringe? Oh, Lord.
Wait, you have nothing to try on. Oh, no. Ethan, your team has no clothes.
It's super sexy.
It was perfect for me.
I'm in shock, actually.
I did not come to work to look at a bunch of ugly clothes.
I am pissed off.
