But I will never forget that day

100 days ago on a Wednesday morning.

It was like deja vu.

I was looking for inspiration
on my latest novel.

And there she was.

It was most likely fate

as she was reading my book, "Delilah",

former number one bestseller

about a femme fatale serial killer

who falls for her next victim.

I couldn't help myself but
to try and get closer to her.

I pretended I was minding my own business,

but I couldn't help myself looking at her.

Is she a writer like me
or is she an avid reader?

It was bothering me enough
to make that my excuse

if she caught me staring.

But I felt like I already knew her.

(low rumbling)

In the end I was chasing a dream,

a beautiful ideal that started in sin.

Yet in the end, you still felt

so far away. (waves splashing)

All I had was your beautiful face

with every thought of
you trembling in my arms.

While in the end, death
tried to pull me away,

a forbidden love hard to abstain.

It doesn't matter how long I wait for you.

I am such a huge fan of your book.

Why did you wanna be an aspiring writer?

- Oh, I don't know. (people chattering)

I've always loved to read

and I've just been fascinated with writing

ever since I was a kid.

I begin to find the words and I end up

second-guessing myself.

I had writer's block for 10 years

- Two years ago my friend died of cancer.

And I was next to him when
he was dying in his home

without any medical assistance or drugs.

It's the hardest thing
to watch your friend die

or suffer like that.

Although it was his choice

and he would be pain-free,
made it a little easier.

But I think what was
harder was his last words.

He wished he had loved.

- Wow, I'm so sorry.

I know now how you wrote it.

- And you are the first
person I told that to.

You know, I came across your book

looking for inspiration to write something

and here we are now.

- I have something crazy
to propose. You ready?
