Dragon Prince Yuan: Great Zhou Academy's Exam Episode Twelve

Qi Yuan,

are you rebelling?

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Confronting the imperial family will

[Huang Subs] will benefit no one right now.

[Huang Subs] Instead, it will assure our mutual destruction.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Qi Yuan

[Huang Subs] are you really planning to rebel?

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Qi Ling,

do you admit your guilt?

I ordered to save Yue'er,

but what did you do instead!?

My lord, please forgive me.

I saw the second master is badly hurt,

it was the heat of the moment...

Fortunately, you didn't commit a grave mistake.

Take Yue'er and treat his injuries,

you'll be punished after.

Yes sir.

Your Majesty,

I am to blame for not being strict enough.

I will

discipline them after this.

Then I will leave this King Qi.

We can't let others think

that King Qi is planning to rebel.

Sorry to have startled Your Highness,

I hope Your Highness can forgive me.

This old coot is really resilient.

Oh right,

What was that Your Highness just used,

was it the Xuan Aura Technique

that was stolen from our Manor awhile ago?

I wonder how Your Highness came to possess it?

That was from the assassin I ran into

while training in the Black Forest Mountain.

I'm guessing that assassin

must be the thief that took the Xuan Aura Technique.

I would like to thank Your Highness for returning it to us.

Sadly,

when I fought a Yuan beasts sometime ago,

it destroyed the technique.

Otherwise, I would've returned it already.

That is really too bad.

If I ever run into that Yuan beast

I will crush its bones to dust.

Then King Qi should be careful,

if you corner it too tight.

the beast might retaliate.

Alright.

Headmaster Chu,

you should announce the result.

Yes sir.

I now announce the result of

this year's academy exam,

First Court

Zhou Yuan wins!

First Court has won

this challenge!

And is now the head of all courts.

Unfortunately, King Qi's effort

on the Great Zhou Academy has gone to waste.

This time, it seems I was the one made a misstep.

But

even without the Great Zhou Academy,

I am still King Qi, nothing changed.

And

My eldest son Qi Hao,

is now highly regarded under General Wei.

Your Majesty should be careful.

Great Wu Palace

Wu Huang

Wu Huang I already warned you,

Wu Yao to not be so impulsive.

Your Royal Highness, Crown Prince,

Secret Intelligence has sent a message.

That good-for-nothing Zhou is a survivor,

he actually turned his life around.

Your Highness

should we take him out?

The Great Wu is at war with the Beast Legion and Sword Dynasty,

who has time to care about the dying Zhou Dynasty.

But that Zhou Yuan

he was the Divine Dragon...

If he's the Divine Dragon,

how could we, the Wu Clan succeed?

He was born with what he shouldn't been born with, Divine Dragon's Fortune.

That is why the Great Zhou paid such a terrible price.

And I

is the one destined for the Divine Dragon's Fortune.

That's why the Great Wu is so prosperous today,

understand?

Your Royal Highness is right!

That fake dragon only opened six meridians,

he isn't even fit to stand in front of you.

Wu Huang

don't underestimate him.

Our fortune ultimately comes from him.

If you want to keep him from taking it,

then we need to be alert at all times.

He's not worthy.

Give the order,

give the Qi family more support.

Let them bring down the Zhou,

so we don't have to be restricted

by the ancestral oath.

Yes sir.

See?

I am the true dragon.

My words decides life and death,

my words decides fate.

Fine,

let me see just how the Divine Dragon of Zhou

gets through this one.

Father,

you need me?

It's been a couple of months since the Academy's Exam.

Yuan'er,

how is your cultivation?

Almost seventh meridian.

Not bad.

Although this time we were able to save the Great Zhou Academy,

but Qi Yuan won't stop here.

With King Qi's current strength,

if we declare war with them,

neither would benefit.

Unless...

Unless what?

Unless General Wei

can be a steadfast supporter of us.

The General Wei Cang Lan, who is stationed at Cang Lan County?

He's a Primordial Realm cultivator，

The Cang Lan Army, under his command,

it know to be one of the three most powerful,

alongside the Imperial Guard and the King Qi's Guards.

His attitude

is enough to affect the Great Zhou's situation.

Father,

could it be that this general is a traitor?

That's not it,

It's me that wasn't there for him.

This all started in the Black Abyss.

Black Abyss is a desolate region beyond the borders of Cang Lan County,

not only is there countless yuan beasts,

there are also many other factions.

Among them, the strongest is the Hei Du City. T/L Note: 黑毒(hēi dú) means Black Poison.

Black Venom King

Black Venom King City Lord Black Venom King is also a Primordial Realm Cultivator.

City Lord Black Venom King is also a Primordial Realm Cultivator.

That year, he once led a large invasion of Cang Lan County.

That year, he once led a large invasion of Cang Lan County. Cang Lan County

At the time I agree to send support for General Wei,

but King Qi secretly sabotage the efforts.

By the time I arrived,

General Wei was already poisoned by Black Venom King's Miasma Poison.

General Wei

was able to suppress the poison.

But his only son, Wei Bin

was born exposed to the poison,

Wei Bin

Wei Bin still bedridden till this day.

Ever since then

General Wei has never left Cang Lan County,

determined to get his revenge on the Black Venom King.

Naturally,

he was bitter towards me for the delay

in coming to his aid.

It's precisely because of this,

Qi Yuan sent his eldest son to be close to General Wei,

hoping to win him over.

Father,

then...

Don't worry,

with what I know of General Wei,

he wouldn't easily support King Qi.

But he also wouldn't help us against King Qi either.

Oh right,

I was looking for you, because I had something to tell you.

Someone found a ruin appearing inside the Black Abyss,

inside there is a 4th grade Yuan Food:

Fire Spirit Tassel.

4th grade Yuan food?

Our royal family's Xuan Crystal Rice is only 2nd grade,

it barely has any effect in open meridians,

and it still attracted many talents.

If we can get the 4th grade Yuan Food,

then the Great Zhou's power will definitely explode.

Then King Qi wouldn't dare to rebel,

the Great Wu might even struggle to suppress us.

We must secure this strategic resource.

Also,

they found an Yu Ying Fruit inside the ruin. T/L Note: 玉婴(yù yīng) first word means jade, second means infant. A fruit that looks like infant made out of jade essentially.

It has the effect of extend one's lifespan.

Extend lifespan?

If we have the Yu Ying Fruit,

then mother's lifespan can be restored, right?

Father,

is this news true?

But the ruin has many Yuan beasts roaming,

very dangerous.

There isn't anyone that can move them out.

No matter what,

we have to get

the Yu Ying Fruit.

I plan on sending Lu Tie Shan

to bring back the Yu Ying Fruit and Fire Spirit Tassels.

Also,

I'd like you to

go to Cang Lan County as the Imperial envoy.

Do what you can to win over General Wei.

Plus,

you're also close to the next stage of Qi Nourishing Realm,

take a look at this Blazing Thunder Mantra,

learn it, if you think it works for you.

Alright.

So beautiful.

Thank you, Aunt Qin.

If you're bored inside the palace,

just let Zhou Yuan take you outside for a stroll.

Stop!

Stop!

Mother,

Sister Yao Yao.

Yuan'er, you're here.

You two talk,

I have things to do.

Why are you looking at me?

Sister Yao Yao, you look really pretty today.

What do you want from me this time?

Am I really that kind of person in your heart?

Look at what I brought you.

Not bad.

It's called Ruby Spirit Brew,

I spent a lot of money for this.

I got it especially for Sister Yao Yao.

Why are buttering me up?

What do you really want?

Talk.

Not at all...

I just wanted to gift Sister Yao Yao

something nice, not playing at anything.

Okay, nothing really gets by Sister Yao Yao.

You know, I'm almost at the Qi Nourishing Realm.

But the imperial technique Blazing Thunder Mantra,

can only cultivate 4th grade Yuan Energy.

So you want technique.

I do have them,

but depends on how you chose.

Grandpa Hei left this technique, Scripture of Heaven's Origin.

This can cultivate 7th grade Yuan Energy.

7th grade Yuan Energy?

This kind of technique,

even if you sold the Great Zhou Dynasty,

it won't even be worth it.

From what Sister Yao Yao said,

there is another option?

Mm

What a strong aura.

What is this?

Even Tun Tun feels threatened.

Inside this bone fragment,

a technique is recorded in it.

It's name is

Primeval Dragon Sutra.

Legend says Primeval Dragon was born at the dawn of creation,

possess the power to obliterate everything,

it is a supreme existence.

Later, he became the essence of all things,

only then did all life came to this chaotic world.

If you put it that way,

it's stronger than the Scripture of Heaven's Origin.

When you first start,

you can only cultivate 5th grade Yuan energy.

Why is it only 5th grade?

Primeval Dragon Sutra has four levels.

Level one is 5th grade Yuan energy,

Divine Python Qi.

Level two is 7th grade Yuan energy,

World Binding Dragonkin Qi.

Level three is 9th grade Yuan energy,

Cosmic Divine Dragon Qi.

9th grade...

Isn't that the strongest Yuan energy in the world?

I wonder if I cultivate it,

how powerful will it be.

Sister Yao Yao.

Didn't you say there are four levels?

The fourth level

is the true Primeval Dragon Qi,

beyond 9th grade.

There is

technique that surpasses the 9th grade.

The world is wondrous,

9th grade Yuan technique

is just one of the wonders.

But Primeval Dragon Sutra is very difficult,

never before seen.

It's possible that you will forever be stuck at level one.

And once you cultivate it,

you will never be able to learn other techniques.

Otherwise,

it will devour you.

What a terrifying technique.

Also,

to cultivate this technique,

one needs a bit of Primeval Dragon essence, Divine Dragon's fortune

to act as a catalyst.

The Divine Dragon's Fortune

you had was one of the strongest Primeval Dragon essence.

Using that to cultivate,

it will give you more chances of success.

But just how much you can accomplish,

no way to really know.

I guess the Primeval Dragon Sutra and I

aren't meant to be.

Maybe there's still hope.

The King of Wu is quiet foolish,

he thought the Resentful Dragon's Poison would doom you for all eternity.

But what he doesn't know,

the Resentful Dragon's Poison

also counts as Primeval Dragon essence.

So you are saying,

I can learn Primeval Dragon Sutra?

One reliable and the powerful, Scripture of Heaven's Origin.

The other

is the Primeval Dragon Sutra, full of unknown.

Zhou Yuan

which do you chose?

I chose

Primeval Dragon Sutra.

You thought it through?

I don't want to experience what happened in the past again,

and I won't let what belongs to me be taken again.

Even more, I don't want people closest to me

get hurt and be unable to protect them.

The enemies I'll face in the future will be even more powerful,

that's why

I must become so powerful,

that they can't pose any threat at all

to the people that I care about.

Zhou Yuan

once you make this choice,

there is no turning back.

Sister Yao Yao,

I have been through a lot.

I understand what it is that I want.

The road might be arduous,

but I will make it to the end.

To successfully cultivate the Primeval Dragon Sutra,

you must first gather these four raw materials.

You've got some guts asking for these.

The total price of these four raw materials

is nearly 30 to 40% of the Great Zhou's annual tax revenue.

Are you really using them to cultivate 5th grade Yuan energy?

Father,

can't you just get them for me?

As of now, the Imperial Treasury

only has Celestial Metal Essence and Eternal Nether Spring Crystal.

Then the Yuan-devouring stone and the 4th grade python-type Yuan beast's soul,

I'll figure it out on my own.

Yuan-devouring stone,

I have heard General Wei has one. [Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] But it is a precious treasure,

[Huang Subs] whether you can obtain it

[Huang Subs] is all up to you.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] As for the 4th grade python-type Yuan beast's soul...

[Huang Subs] That type of Yuan beast,

[Huang Subs] you can try your luck

[Huang Subs] at the Black Abyss.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Then when do I leave for Cang Lan County?

[Huang Subs] What's the rush?

That useless little brother,

Qi Hao

Qi Hao Zhou Yuan...

Zhou Yuan...

Primeval Dragon Sutra Rumor has it that Primeval Dragon Sutra came from the Primeval Dragon, one that possess dragon essence can cultivate it. Primeval Dragon Sutra has four levels. First level [Divine Python Qi.] Second level [World Binding Dragonkin Qi.] Third Level [Cosmic Divine Dragon Qi.] Fourth Level [Primeval Dragon Qi]

Wind gliding embracing the vast sky, soaring across the starlit waves

Crossing thousands of miles in a leap

The brighter the light, the tougher the road, the harder it comes by

Fate falls on all, burdened with shackles

The stubborn heart can't be shackled

Looking to the sky of hope

Charging full force, this journey is not in vain

No one can decide for me

Born with courage and fearless

Unafraid of perilous road, I hold my own fate

Looking forward, never look back

A new journey with friends side by side

Don't fall short of youth, vigor, fearlessness, and courage

Turbulent winds and roaring waves

I'm riding the waves

I venture through the danger

Unfazed by pain

Even in despair, I will find new life

Spirit crossing thousand miles, singing to the heaven

A flare of brilliance in my heart

The more despair the road, the further I walk, the brighter it burns

Fate falls on all, burdened with shackles

The stubborn heart can't be shackled

Looking to the sky of hope

Charging full force, this journey is not in vain

My courage ready for the next journey
