The flames of anger will breakthrough the cage of destiny

But I will be reborn from the flame

How can serpent and sparrow devour the true dragon

Against all odds, not trusting in fate

Path of revenge, battle of destiny

Against the roaring wild wind, to the heaven I smile

Fearless of the rising tides, my battle spirit boils

Shedding blood in the face of adversity

Promising my life to protect this realm

One stroke to wield the heaven, one hand to rule the world

The journey home is the precarious balance of fate

I breath in the earth and sea, I can swallow the heavens and nine plains

This battle, peace to the world

I breath in the earth and sea, I can swallow the heavens and nine plains

Dragon Prince Yuan: Great Zhou Academy's Exam Episode Nine

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Take her.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] You opened six meridians?

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] It was open ten days ago.

This filthy girl,

how much resources did I spent,

just to open six meridians six months ago?

She is already caught up to me.

Liu Ye,

are we doing this?

Seven Meridians!

Come quietly.

You guys are?

Lady Su,

his Highness is worried Qi Yue might give you trouble.

He asked us to protect you in secret.

Lady Liu, please act with dignity.

Don't be a tool for Qi Yue.

Two seven meridian imperial guards?

Damn that Zhou Yuan.

Two seniors,

how is his Highness doing right now?

He's disappeared for almost two months now.

Lady Su rest assured,

his Highness' cultivation is going very well.

He'll be back in half a month for the Academy's exam.

I wonder if his Highness is getting th results he wanted.

I heard Qi Yue has already opened seven meridians.

If the first court wants

the number one spot,

it's going to be a bitter fight.

Martial Form! T/L Note: previously I left it as "Wu Form", but changing it so it's easier to understand.

Trying to ambushing me?

Right on time!

I didn't think King Qi to make a

move against Yuan'er, when he's training

in the Black Forest Mountain.

I wonder if Yuan'er is okay right now...

These years,

I've been too tolerant towards the King Qi,

this emboldens them to act without restraint.

But right now, isn't the time to break ties with them.

Otherwise, the Great Zhou

will have an all-out and severe conflict.

It's because we as the parents are incapable,

that's why Yuan'er is in such danger.

Father,

mother!

Yuan'er,

you're finally back.

It must've been hard for you,

you've lost weight.

Mother, look.

I grew a lot of muscle,

I didn't get thin.

Father.

Lu Tie Shan

already reported back.

I wasn't expecting King Qi to be this bold,

dare to make a move on you.

No need to worry father.

Actually, this time

I made it out big.

Xuan Aura Technique?

It actually fell into your hands?

I heard the King Qi's Manor has been in an uproar because of it.

They basically handed it over,

I can't say no to that right?

As for Qi Yue,

the academy exam in three days,

I'll settle the debt he owes then.

Who's playing tricks,

come out now!

Long time no see,

you've all grown quiet a bit.

Your Highness is back!

Your Highness!

It's all thanks to the extra two hours,

your Highness won from the Second Court.

We all opened six meridians at this point.

Second Court is not liking Qi Yue at all,

this greatly affected their cultivation speed.

If they want to win against us this time,

it won't be that easy.

You guys shouldn't let your guard down.

Over the last two months,

Qi Yue secretly arranged for the top students, who are participating

in the exam to receive special training at the King Qi's Manor.

They aren't affected by the

shorter hours at the Yu Ling Waterfall at all.

And

he has already opened seven meridians.

This year's academy exam,

for us,

is still a daunting challenge.

Dean, rest assure,

I will handle Qi Yue.

It seems Your Highness made a lot of progress

on your trip this time.

I've already

opened five meridians.

Five meridians?

That's not bad.

But the academy exam and Yu Ling Waterfall

are two complete different matters.

Alright,

come with me to the exam ground.

Yes sir.

It has been two years,

since the First Court's flag has been planted up there.

You guys go ahead.

The King and Queen has arrived.

I never thought Sister Yao Yao, of all people would show up,

she prefers peace and quiet.

King Qi has arrived.

King Qi...

Qi Yuan...

I didn't expect His Majesty and King Qi to show up.

It can't be helped, this academy exam will reflect the Great Zhou's future.

King Qi actually didn't paid respect to His Majesty as his subject.

He's not even putting up a front anymore.

I hereby announce,

this year's academy exam

has officially begun.

Rules,

same as in previous years.

Each court have four participants,

they can challenge anyone.

Defeat the four opponents

and take their place.

Challenge start now.

Fourth Court, Zhao Han,

challenging Third Court.

Third Court, Luo Zhi,

accepting the challenge.

Third Court will win!

Fourth Court will win!

First Court's trash.

Your Highness.

Qi Yue

you smile is too flirtatious.

Are you begging us to go easy on you?

It's a bit late.

Your Highness is funny.

I just wanted to let you guys know,

This year it will still be the Second Court that's planting the flag.

You guys shouldn't fantasize too much.

We really have to thank you guys,

for the extra two hours with the Yu Ling Waterfall.

It really gave First Court a lot of confidence.

Don't get too cocky.

After this academy's exam,

You'll lose the First Court's title,

and we'll still get back what we lost.

It's too early to say

who wins and who loses.

filthy brat,

you better not run into me

or I'll really fix you up.

You should be careful too,

we haven't settled

the grudge from last time.

Cao Ling

Second Court, Cao Ling won.

Third Court

all eliminated.

Good job Cao Ling.

Second Court, Cao Ling

challenge the First Court.

I'll go first.

Cao Ling eliminated

three people from the Third Court.

He and the other guy named Fan Wu

are top tier within the Second Court,

both have opened six meridians.

First Court, Yang Zai.

Top-grade Yuan Technique,

Tiger Devouring Earth-Shattering Fist.

Top-grade Yuan Technique,

Earth-light Shield.

These two are pretty evenly matched,

it won't be easy to win.

Such a savage aura.

Second Court,

Cao Ling wins.

This Cao Ling is strange.

I'll take the second round.

It's that aura again.

Your Highness,

what's wrong?

If my senses are correct;

both Cao Ling and Fan Wu

should have Boiling Blood Glyph on them.

This Yuan Glyph uses

Yuan Beasts' blood as a guide

to burn the blood essence in your body.

It makes the Yuan Energy savage and violent.

Isn't this Yuan Glyph being restricted?

How dare they...

They did it very discreetly,

should be just before the Academy's exam.

They drew the Boiling Blood Glyph on their body everyday,

that's why Boiling Blood Glyph's power

left some fragments inside them.

Even if they're being inspected right now,

the Boiling Blood Glyph won't be found on their body.

However, this will cause

even greater harm to their body.

That Cao Ling and Fan Wu

are probably crippled in the future.

King Qi Manor is being really careful,

even with Qi Yue holding it down,

they still have many means left

to make sure no accidents happen.

They're really determined

to control the Great Zhou Academy.

They're using such tactics with

Fan Wu and Cao Ling to wear us out.

But don't worry,

I won't let them get away with that.

Tun Tun,

how did you get here?

Serenity Glyph

So Sister Yao Yao already saw through the problem,

and she has the answer for it.

You Wei,

give me your hand.

Your Highness...

This is the Serenity Glyph,

it counters the Boiling Blood Glyph.

When they use the Boiling Blood Glyph,

You strike the top of their head

with your palm,

it will break the Boiling Blood Glyph.

Okay.

Second Court,

Fan Wu wins!

Your majesty,

this year's First Court doesn't seem all that capable.

Your Highness,

is it done?

All done.

I'll take the next round.

Be careful.

You Wei...

Your Highness,

when you kicked down that door for me,

and gave me hope in the freezing despair;

that's when I told myself,

I have to work hard,

work hard to become strong.

I will be your steadfast comrade.

I will remove any obstacles

that gets in your way.

First Court, Su You Wei

challenge Second Court's Cao Ling.

Give that filthy peasant girl a brutal beating.

It's over! [Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs]

The strong

must first strengthen their heart.

This little girl

is not bad.

Next.

Boiling Blood Glyph Boiling Blood Glyph is a first-class Yuan Glyph, it can burn the blood essence within the body, causing the Yuan Energy to become violent and savage. It will cause loss of one's own blood essence, even damage the meridians, making cultivation hard in the future, that's why it's forbidden in competitions.

Wind gliding embracing the vast sky, soaring across the starlit waves

Crossing thousands of miles in a leap

The brighter the light, the tougher the road, the harder it comes by

Fate falls on all, burdened with shackles

The stubborn heart can't be shackled

Looking to the sky of hope

Charging full force, this journey is not in vain

No one can decide for me

Born with courage and fearless

Unafraid of perilous road, I hold my own fate

Looking forward, never look back

A new journey with friends side by side

Don't fall short of youth, vigor, fearlessness, and courage

Turbulent winds and roaring waves

I'm riding the waves

I venture through the danger

Unfazed by pain

Even in despair, I will find new life

Spirit crossing thousand miles, singing to the heaven

A flare of brilliance in my heart

The more despair the road, the further I walk, the brighter it burns

Fate falls on all, burdened with shackles

The stubborn heart can't be shackled

Looking to the sky of hope

Charging full force, this journey is not in vain

My courage ready for the next journey
