Original subtitles

The flames of anger will breakthrough the cage of destiny

But I will be reborn from the flame

How can serpent and sparrow devour the true dragon

Against all odds, not trusting in fate

Path of revenge, battle of destiny

Against the roaring wild wind, to the heaven I smile

Fearless of the rising tides, my battle spirit boils

Shedding blood in the face of adversity

Promising my life to protect this realm

One stroke to wield the heaven, one hand to rule the world

The journey home is the precarious balance of fate

I breath in the earth and sea, I can swallow the heavens and nine plains

This battle, peace to the world

I breath in the earth and sea, I can swallow the heavens and nine plains

Dragon Prince Yuan: The Eight Meridians reappear Episode Three

Here, Yuan'er, [Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] you just opened your eight meridians,

[Huang Subs] you need to eat to recuperate your body.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Mother,

[Huang Subs] this is too much.

[Huang Subs] Eat more,

[Huang Subs] opening meridians can harm your body.

[Huang Subs] Yao Yao,

[Huang Subs] try the Imperial Kitchen's Nine Beast Soup!

[Huang Subs] It's really good for you.

[Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] Thank you Aunt Qin.

[Huang Subs]

I know,

here is yours.

So fragrant,

what is this?

Yao Yao,

This Jade Brewed is a wine,

not suited for young lady.

I want to try it.

Here have at it.

It's good.

See what you did,

giving that to the young lady.

Aunt Qin,

your vitality is waning.

This Azure Jade Lotus can nourish the body,

retain your vitality,

please accept this.

Absolute not, Yao Yao.

A bottle of Jade Brewed is not worth this rare treasure.

Mother,

just accept it.

You will have many chances to make it up to Sister Yao Yao.

Your Majesty, a report.

Great Zhou Academy's headmaster Chu Tian Yang requesting a meet.

Right now the four courts of the Great Zhou Academy, T/L Note: 甲乙丙丁 (jiǎ yǐ bǐng dīng) is basically A, B, C, D or 1, 2, 3, 4.

the second court controlled by King Qi is the strongest.

Chu Tian Yang After this examine, it will be the end-of-year academy examination.

The second court is the top scorer for two years in a row.

If they're number one again...

I'm afraid their Dean will use that as an excuse

to take away my position as the headmaster.

At that time King Qi will have complete control over the academy,

taking away talents at will.

King Qi had secretly defected to the Wu Dynasty

and now he wants to control the Great Zhou Academy,

he is dead set on taking over the Great Zhou.

He really thinks the Great Zhou has no one.

Father, don't let anger get to you.

When the time comes,

we will have the chance to clean house.

Headmaster Chu,

there's still half a year until the Academy examine right?

Who has the best chance to be the top scorer?

Right now,

the best student at the academy is Qi Yue,

he has opened six meridians.

The student whom your Highness recommended, You Wei, is also talented.

But I heard Qi Yue is trying to get her to join the second court.

No need to worry, Headmaster Chu.

Once the examine is over,

I will convince You Wei to join the first court.

Your Highness,

The first court is the leader of the Great Zhou Academy,

only top ten students of the examination

has the qualification to join.

Outside of the top ten,

can only chose the other three courts.

Don't worry,

I will make it into the top ten.

Headmaster Chu won't need to open any back doors for me.

The examination day is almost here,

how is your Highness's preparation?

Pretty much done.

Oh right,

Headmaster Chu really hopes you'll join the first court.

If your Highness joins,

then I will too.

Then for both of us to join the first court,

I need to focus on cultivation!

Mm!

Although his Highness

can't open meridians to cultivate,

but his title is there

Qi Yue and he is Sou You Wei's benefactor.

Qi Yue You...

Qi Yue probably won't have a chance.

Young prince.

Sou You Wei is very talented.

I feel she should find someone whose talent matches hers.

And not just someone with an empty title.

That's not wrong.

If it wasn't for the title

that invalid Highness has,

you, the most excellent student wouldn't even look at him,

let alone competing with you for Sou You Wei.

But sadly,

Sou You Wei seems to like him.

Previously, I offered her generous terms to join the second court after the examine.

But she said

wherever his Highness goes,

she will too.

But,

If you can make Zhou Yuan

suffer a humiliating loss during the examine,

maybe she'll look at you differently.

I want to,

but the exam is based on random draws.

There's no way to make sure I get him.

I already made arrangements for the first two rounds.

If Zhou Yuan is lucky enough to make the third round,

I can give you a chance.

Oh?

Then how should I thank the young Prince?

No need,

I can't guarantee you can make a move.

But if you really do get your wish,

please join the second court after the examine.

Zhou Yuan,

it's best that I don't see you during the exam,

otherwise,

you will suffer humiliation like no other.

Dragon Breathe Technique,

using human body to simulate dragon breathing,

to absorb the Yuan energy of the world.

To learn this technique,

one must first learn Ninety-eight form of Forging Dragon Play.

My days of practice isn't in vain,

the Dragon Breathe Technique has finally succeeded.

Yours is not the Dragon Breathe Technique.

What?

Tuen Tuen.

This...

just what kind of Yuan Beast is this guy,

he even knows human technique?

Stop talking.

Look for the difference between your technique and his.

I got it!

It's the breathing.

You're quick.

The crucial part of learning Dragon Breathe technique

is to combine inhale and exhale perfectly,

then you can unleash the power of Dragon Breathe.

Tuen Tuen's breathing control is much better than mine.

His every move starts with inhale,

ends with exhale,

flows smoothly.

This result is

much more powerful than mine.

Someone,

bring master Tuen Tune some meat jerky.

That's the right form,

once you inhale the Yuan energy,

you can start channel the meridians.

The key to channel the meridians is guiding the Yuan energy,

keep channeling the meridian,

to gradually clear the blockage in the meridians.

Channeling will harm the meridians,

especially after the first time,

you'll feel really tired.

Dragon Breathe Technique is really powerful,

one channeling opened up a small blockage.

You,

you're fine?

I'm fine.

Alright,

let's go again.

Are you trying to die?

You can only channel once everyday.

But I'm not feeling any problems.

Can it be because

you were born with opened meridians,

your meridians are stronger than the average?

Why don't you try again.

I need to see just

how many times you can channel.

I can't do it.

I think this really is the limit of channeling my meridians.

You actually channeled four times in a day,

I guess even grandfather Hei underestimated you.

Sister Yao Yao,

master said

you have high mastery over Yuan Glyph.

Before the examination,

I need to focus on cultivation.

Since I'm done channeling my meridians,

how about

you teach me Yuan Glyph?

Teaching is tiresome,

I don't want to.

Although the Jade Brewed is fine,

but there are even better wines in the palace.

I can find some for you.

Good boy.

You should know

what's the most important part

about Yuan Glyph right?

Divine Soul.

That's right.

Your Divine Soul isn't even in the Hollow Realm,

you're not able to draw the first-class Yuan Glyph yet.

You should practice grandfather Hei's top-tier Soul Forging technique first,

Chaos Divine Forge Visualization,

to keep refining your Divine Soul.

let your formless divine soul take on an ethereal form,

until you step into Hollow Realm.

Then I can teach you first-class Yuan Glyph.

This is...

Chaos Divine Forge Visualization's cultivation space?

Within chaos,

there arises divine forging; Divine Forging Dimension

Divine Forging Dimension one turn of the divine forge erases all gods and demons.

one turn of the divine forge erases all gods and demons.

Visualize the Divine Forging, placing the divine soul within the divine forge,

be forged and recast.

One turn of the Forging, a new heaven is forged.

After nine turn, divine soul will evolve.

No wonder sister Yao Yao said,

to practice Chaos Divine Forge Visualization

one must have the courage to overcome fear.

But

as long as I can be strong,

I'm not afraid of anything!

Such a horrifying soul forging technique,

I was only recast once,

my divine soul really feels stronger now.

Again!

He entered the Divine Soul's Hollow Realm this quick?

How many times were you forged?

Eighty eight times.

Looks like your Divine Soul wasn't damaged during that catastrophe.

You can learn first-class Yuan Glyph now.

Oh right,

the Tian Yuan Brush, grandfather Hei gave you;

how is it progressing?

Lately, I've been feeding it Yuan Beast's soul crystal,

I've lit up the first Yuan Glyph.

You should first sense this Yuan Glyph,

learn to control it.

No wonder master said Tian Yuan Brush isn't only a Yuan Armament,

it's also a Yuan Glyph brush.

The first Yuan Glyph is called "Wen Wu", T/L Note: 文武 (wén wǔ) means civility and military, or literature and martial, or knowledge and strength.

giving the Tian Yuan Brush two forms.

In the "Wu" form, it's a Sacred Yuan Armament,

in the "Wen" form, it's a Yuan Glyph Brush.

Alright,

bring the brush

and learn the first-class Yuan Glyph.

Tiger Roaring Glyph.

Great Zhou Academy's Examination ground

Great Zhou Academy's Examination ground Examination's first round has officially begun.

Examination's first round has officially begun.

We will arrange the matches

according to everyone's strength.

You opened four meridians?

It's been done.

But you didn't come to the Great Zhou Academy these days,

of course, you wouldn't know.

I was also cultivating hard.

Liu Xi

Liu Xi Looks like our Highness really isn't afraid of the examination.

Looks like our Highness really isn't afraid of the examination.

This invalid only learned Yuan Glyph,

and he's all arrogant,

truly doesn't know his place.

Headmaster Chu,

this examination, Xu Hong

Xu Hong first court might only end up with people outside of the top ten.

first court might only end up with people outside of the top ten.

Xu Hong,

you're overly self-satisfied,

hope your happiness won't lead to crying.

Examination begin!

First round,

Zhou Yuan,

Pei Yun.

Humiliating that invalid in the first round,

should give him something to remember.

With his Highness, Zhou Yuan's strength,

why is he paired up with the three meridians Pei Yun ?

Pei Yun is top-tier within the Three Meridians,

even if his Highness can use Yuan Glyph;

it'd be hard for him to win against a three meridians.

Pei Yun

Pei Yun Your Highness,

Pei Yun here I come.

I hope your Highness can forgive me,

I don't know my own strength.

Qi Yue made this happen?

I have no clue what your Highness is saying.

Being the "first bird to stand out"

won't end up well for you.

This guy

his body is strong.

Your Highness should look after yourself.

In the ring,

no need for such formalities.

Open three meridians!

His Highness is going to lose.

He had a chance when Pei Yun didn't open his meridians,

but once he opened his meridians, this is now one sided. [Huang Subs]

[Huang Subs] You're right.

[Huang Subs] I don't think his Highness can last a single round.

[Huang Subs]

Sorry,

I don't know my own strength,

please forgive me.

Victory, Zhou Yuan!

Crossing thousands of miles in a leap
