you to still enjoy the process and not be afraid to make mistakes because that

is part of the growth process.

So allow yourself that because it's going to only create magic. You are

if I didn't say like, it can be very overwhelming. So, but I'm grateful to be

here and dance on the stage. Like it's, I'll forever be so grateful for this

How is that pressure to stay on top?

It is a lot of pressure, but something I learned from Robert is pressure is a

privilege. So I'm grateful for that. Yeah.

you contracted and released. It was very... I like this. I like this

experimentation. But wait, what I want to say is when you work with a prop,

though, it can be difficult and sometimes it can distract us. The trick

working with a prop is it has to disappear into the dance.

Sometimes I felt you were struggling with it, but the strength and the

that you showed was wonderful.

Listen, I love a prop, and I love the Jackie Royal, Harness -inspired,

contemporary choreography in this dance.

Really fantastic. The acrobatics, you know, the athleticism, loved it. For me,

though, the idea, the execution for me personally wasn't fully realized, but I

think overall, it's a dance you can be absolutely proud of.

brought so much emotion for you. Can you give us a little more insight to that?

Yeah, I mean, I felt like a lot of the time, you know, my life was always in a

box. I never felt like I could see the light until obviously one day my

you know, flourished in millions of ways. But this was just a representation

understanding that needing help is okay. Being able to have the rope as like my

third person to help me do whatever I need to do.

It just means everything. And I'm here for anybody.

Depression is really hard. And, you know, you're always loved.

You are. And how hard was it dancing with a prop?

Well, at first when Ezra told me we were doing stuff with a harness and a rope,

I was like, oh, yeah, I'll for it. And then all of a sudden I was like, wait a

minute. This is going to be tricky. But, you know, I feel like since my mind is

always grind, grind, grind, I was able to get it. So I'm really happy that I

able to, you know, risk.

The first dance that we are doing is the hustle.

For the hustle, each couple dances in their own square. You've only got this

much space to perform a really technical dance. If you get tapped on the

shoulder, you're out.

The longer you stay on the dance floor, the more points you get. The first two

couples out get one point. And the last couple standing is going to get five

points.

Once the song changes, everybody is free to move around the floor wherever they

want. One of the skills is to avoid each other in a stealthy way. You're looking

this way and then like a foot just comes out of nowhere and hits you in the

head. Has that happened to you? Oh, yeah.

You just cannot take a break because you never know when the judges are

watching. When the body goes, the face got to start. I want to try some tricks,

and hopefully we can catch the judge's eye.
