studying sorcery in hopes of working

the wizard. With a contemporary routine
to The Wizard and I, it's our Grammy

-winning singer from Pentatonix, Seth
Lang, and his partner, Riley Arnold.

I'm so excited.

When I watched it back, the form was

How much do you love Wicked? Wicked is
my favorite thing in the world. It's my

whole personality.

I've seen Wicked on Broadway maybe 20
times.

And the movie is on replay at my house.

So for me, this is the equivalent of
like Jordan Childs finding out there's a

gymnastics night. Have you been able to
meet anybody on the cast of Wicked?

Well, I've known Ariana for years, and
I've got to sing with Cynthia before,

I always try not to fangirl. I'm like,
hey, I'm cool and normal.

First of all, is this the best season of
Dancing with the Stars ever? Oh, my

gosh.

You know, Wizard and I is all about
dreaming and yearning, and that's what

Cynthia does best. And when I see you,
that's what you're giving out here. I

feel it in every part of my bones. To
learn a new style of dance and to go out

there is incredible in front of the
whole world. Now, contemporary is hard

people with regular arms and legs. So
with you, with the extra long, it's

amazing. So I wish some of the
transitions were a little cleaner, but

me away to Oz. All right.

Let loose in the land of old. I love the
determination and energy.

But there were a time you were so
enthusiastic that you missed some of the

passes. It's because of passion. And I
get that. I'm a very passionate person.

And I think you just need to balance the
two so the whole piece feels more

I think to piggyback off what John said
about the transitions, I think it's

really important to think about making
it more seamless, right? Thinking of it

as one continuous thought instead of
separate sentences.

So when you do a lift, you've got to
continue the lift, move through it, and

then into the next piece. Instead of
sort of lift, transition, and then do

side -by -side. So one continuous
sentence, and my friend, but beautiful

open the show. Well done. All right.

scary and motivating, so let's do it.

Really strong, powerful.

Rumba is intense and passionate.

And because it's so slow, it can easily
expose any mistakes.

This romance and passion is so far out
of my comfort zone.

And being at the top of the leaderboard

Because I know I can do that now, and I
need to do it every week.

and um every piece of you is being seen

Subtle, sensuous, romantic, wonderful
extended line, beautiful frame for your

girl. Your hips have no problem at all.

In fact, sometimes you lost a little
control of it. You know what I mean?

Because you should never be jagged in
the Roomba. It has to be like flowing

water. And you lost it a little bit in
the middle, but it's the hardest dance

do for men. And you did very well. All

The partnership here is what makes this
magic, and we can see it. I mean, this

is a true journey through life. They're
actually growing as human beings as they

dance on the dance floor in front of us.
This is what I'm loving, and I think

this is what is connecting us all to.
But sometimes, you know, the foot got

stuck on the drag turn reverse a little
bit. You were like, but otherwise,

wonderful to watch.

as a dancer, when you're putting that

focus into something, I see those

So the thing I would give you is just I
wish the intensity grew at the end. I
