Things are cooking in Amira's office
in the centre of Copenhagen.

The champagne-guzzling
businessman Martin Malm

and the Bandidos biker
Jimmy Skjolborg

are on the prowl for capital.

Payments are due to
the lawyer Nicolai Dyhr.

The one who has to close down
Malm's invoice factory

before the police discover
what has happened.

Mm.

The problem is that most
of Malm's money is needed

for Dyhr's fees

and various other expenses.

And then there's not enough
left to also settle the debt owed

to the Bandidos biker Fasar

as well as Frankie, associated with
the outlaw biker club Satudarah.

As soon as Amira mentions
the phrase "invoice factory",

Jimmy hides the phones away.

Both he and Malm
seem painfully aware

of the risk of going to prison.

Especially if it's an estate
administrator from the law firm

that handles the legal
affairs of the Danish state

and not Nicolai Dyhr
who gets the job.

The situation appears
to be gridlocked

and it's difficult to see how
Malm and Jimmy both can avoid

a long stretch in jail

and, at the same time, ensure
that Fasar and Frankie

do not begin to recover their
debts in an uncomfortable way.

Speaking of wild and stupid,

a storm is brewing
in Amira's office.

An atmosphere of crisis is
brewing inside Amira's office,

because it seems that the
financial worries of Malm and Jimmy

are also becoming Amira's.

Next person to arrive
is Fasar's lawyer, Lise,

who apparently also has been
summoned to the meeting.

What unfolds from here on is
the longest and most chaotic day

in the entire
lifespan of the office.

As if the guestlist
wasn't already intimidating,

Fasar turns
up with an unannounced companion.

A man who has been convicted of,

among other things,

violence, threats and extortion.

He seems to be there
as Fasar's bodyguard.

It becomes apparent
what Fasar's agenda really is.

He has discovered that
Amira and Lise

have previously been
conspiring behind his back

to shut down his business....

..and, with the help of a compliant
estate administrator,

bury the money laundering
operation once and for all.

Although seconds feel like minutes,

Fasar is only warming up

because it soon turns out that
the hot-headed outlaw biker

has a whole other issue
to discuss with Amira.

Amira has been thrown
out of her own office.

Not even, in our wildest
imaginations,

did we foresee that it would
be a simple sin of omission

in a citizenship case that
would end up endangering our mole.

But right here,

where it's all about to fall apart,

Amira gives a showcase performance

of what she does best.

She manoeuvres herself back
into the circle of trust.

OK.

With Fasar calmed down,

the problem we actually
thought was the cause

of Fasar's threatening
behaviour awaits -

Martin Malm's lack of payments.

Amira is walking on thin ice here.

She must do everything she can
to ensure Malm's survival

without exposing her cover
and putting herself in danger.

And on top of that, she has
to cater to Jimmy's needs.

LINE RINGING TONE

This is Usman Sharif.

He has previously been convicted
of cocaine trafficking.

At this point, he is associated with
the outlaw biker group Satudarah -

just like his partner
in crime, Frankie,

the guy Malm owes money.

In addition, according to Fasar,

Usman is in a kind of cousin
relationship with Kaleem Khan,

also known as Kalle,

one of the absolute
kingpins in Satudarah.

What Jimmy tries to explain

is that there is an imminent danger.

If Malm goes to prison,
it could mean the end of them all.

Therefore, the impatient creditors
must agree to the plan

to close down Malm's companies
through the lawyer Nicolai Dhyr.

While the jury is out on
the future of Martin Malm,

Amira finds herself
back in business.

Ja.

Fasar has been labelled with
a psychiatric diagnosis

of a severity that,

for most people,

would be a hindrance.

But for Fasar,
it's a world of opportunities.

Since the turn of the millennium,

Fasar has been convicted
of a wide range of crimes

which, all in all, carry a penalty
of up to 55 years in prison.

But due to his diagnosis,

he has been repeatedly declared
insane at the time of the crime

and has therefore not gone to jail.

For example, when he
was convicted, in 2012,

for smuggling 160 kilos
of amphetamine into Denmark.

Here, the court
reached the conclusion

that it was his mental illness

that had caused him to
smuggle the amphetamine

and, hence, Fasar
did not go to prison.

During a previous meeting,

Fasar has hinted that
he uses his diagnosis

as a kind of get-out-of-jail card.

Hard to believe.

But now we are in the loop as Fasar,
along with his defence attorney,

plans how his diagnosis
will help him out of

a pending money laundering case.

Startling in itself,

but that's only the half of it

because, soon, the conversation
centres around the fact that Lise,

by virtue of her position
as Fasar's defence lawyer,

has access to confidential
documents from the police.

OK.

What Fasar and Lise are poking fun
at here is a charge of violence,

which Fasar has previously
pleaded not guilty to,

but now admits before our very eyes.

The case was also about money
laundering for millions,

but was dropped because it was
a matter of claims against claims.

The case files should
therefore have been destroyed,

but the defence lawyer, Lise,

has kept a copy of the 1,016 pages
of investigation documents,

including the names
of all witnesses.

BEEP

After all these ups and downs,

the proverbial elephant
in the room now awaits us.

Namely, Martin Malm.

The severity of the situation
finally seems

to have dawned on Fasar,

who seems to be shocked at
the possible consequences

for both himself and Jimmy
if Malm goes to prison.

The daylong and frenzied conference
of madness has finally ended.

Jimmy, in particular,
is beaming with relief

now that he's off the hook
for Malm's missed payments.

Following the showdown
in Amira's office,

the stakeholders in
Martin Malm's invoice factory

are to decide his future.

With a relatively unanimous
circle of investors behind them,

Malm and Amira meet with
the lawyer Nicolai Dhyr

at the Maritime and Commercial Court
in Copenhagen.

Whereas before there was talk of
the lawyer having to shut down

all of Malm's eight companies,

it has now ended
up with only two of them.

But it is precisely
two companies that,

according to Malm himself,
are part of the invoice factory.

CHUCKLING

Later, in Amira's office,

Malm became more detailed

and explained to Nicolai Dhyr

how he made the
dirty money disappear,

namely by sending it to an online
payment platform called

November First.

Taking a closer look at one of
the companies, Malm Consulting,

we discover that,
in less than a month,

more than three
million Danish kroner

have disappeared from
the company's account -

money that was transferred
to November First,

exactly as Malm has explained.

But none of this is mentioned during
the 13 minutes of court proceedings.

Soon afterwards, the trio
walks away in high spirits.

Dhyr has been appointed
estate administrator

and Martin Malm is heading
towards a brighter future.

Martin Malm is shooting
for the stars once again.

He celebrates his rebirth
by opening a new company.

The premises are new,

yet seem to harbour
the same old promises.

This is where we leave Martin Malm -

at the top of his game,

taking the first
steps towards his next adventure.

The only thing missing

is final confirmation

that the compliant
estate administrator,

Nicolai Dhyr,

is really ready to bury Martin
Malm's financial crimes

in a hole in the ground.

What is simply needed
is to hand Nicolai Dhyr

the paper trail from
Malm's invoice factory.

In other words, all the documents

that Amira cunningly and cleverly

had brought into
her office in boxes.
