And how about you?

Have you made a decision?

Not yet, sir.

Well, make up your mind, Eddy

They could really use your experience down south.

Besides, you deserve to be promoted.

How hard is it to make a decision?

Well, that's just it.

I get it. I get the issue.

It's difficult to leave. This place becomes a part of us.

Exactly, it's like leaving your family.

So. Who's gonna replace you?

Amir.

Amir

You told him

Not yet.

And why are you smirking? You got something to say?

Well, based on my observations of Amir, he has potential.

That he's still maturing.

Bro

Come on now. Talk about maturity

Have you forgotten what we used to be like. But we learn

And we grow Just give him a chance.

Let him take the responsibility.

Then see what happens.

OK. All right, man.

Listen up, Alpha.

We have a new officer coming to join our unit.

Please, introduce yourself.

Yes, sir.

Hello everyone.

My name is Jordan Chan.

34 years old.

I'm from Tuaran, Sabah. Body number 20262.

I have served for 5 years.

Of all units to choose, why did you pick Storm?

I picked Storm, sir, because its reputation

is that it's the best.

And not everyone is qualified to join.

And what makes you think you are qualified?

If I'm not qualified.

Then how can I stand in front of you?

Well, Jordan.

In order to enter Alpha.

You must prove it.

- Yes, sir. - You must race against Amir.

Come on, Amir!

Go, go, go!

Amir

Jordan

Bring the hose

Uh, me?

Ahmad Syafiq bin Zubir.

One day, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Doesn't it bother you, you don't see much?

Don't you miss him?

It's fine.

It is his career,

but once you're the wife of a civil servant.

You just have to accept it. And also be mentally strong.

Hm.

- It's scary but also true. - Why don't you move to Kuala Lumpur? Yeah.

Hmm

Truthfully

I'm hoping that

He will be transferred And closer to me, yeah.

- Understood. - Mmm.

You're right.

- Just help yourself. - OK, OK. That's all right!

- Anything you want, come on. - Okay, okay. Thats alright

I think I want to change to a ceramic group set.

And then we race again.

Sometimes, it's not about having a ceramic group set.

It's more about skills!

Oh, now you're just bragging.

Amir.

I've been promoted.

No way. Congrats, bro.

What rank?

Senior officer. Southern Division.

Southern Division

They need me to lead the unit.

What about our station?

At our station?

- You. - Eh

No way. I'm following you.

You know you're ready for this.

You can do it, Amir.

Just look at them.

All of them.

They need a leader.

Prove it to them you're not just a firefighter

taking orders, but can lead a team.

Prove it, to your dad too.

Prove it to yourself.

- Hi - Hi!

Hi

Hey! Hi!

Jordan

Full kit.

Me?

OK, kids

This is the full uniform that we wear, when putting out fires.

It's called PPE. Personal Protection Equipment

That must be heavy to wear

Almost 25 kg. But that's not including

everything we carry.

Ooo then Firefighters are super strong, yeah.

Correct.

When firefighters have to enter a building.

Wearing suits and masks.

Our vision can be very limited. Any more questions?

That's it?

Careful.

And up the top, a cutter.

- Next, kids. - For your information,

- behind us is the cabin crew. - I need to ensure that the

pressure will be stable

Take it slow and be strong and always remember to be safe.

That's right.

- OK, everybody smile I'll take a picture. - Look over there.

Now we will demonstrate how to put out a fire with a hose and nozzle.

Understand

We call this mode, Water shield.

Using this Water Shield mode will keep us all safe as it creates a barrier

between us and the fire.

- OK, take 2 steps - OK?

One two

Over here?

Bit further, yeah. Ready?

Yes. Ooh.

OK, you haven't hit it yet

Go further

That's it OK.

Let's get ready to move out in 5.

OK.

Peace be upon you

Also to you

Miss

Mustika

Amir.

Uh thank you for coming along and inspiring the children.

They've been very excited about today.

I'm excited also.

Um

What I meant was

I'm also excited

To teach the kids about our job as a firefighter.

- Yeah - Charity work.

It's very noble.

Thank you.

Same thing with teaching

True enough.

So

This truck.

Let's say I'm interested in driving. Is that possible?

Uh, uh.

The public can't drive it.

- Oh. - But if you insist, I

- can take you with me. - Any time.

Anytime?

Right now

Now Uh

Mustika

I'll take a picture of you two, OK?

To remember the day

Yes uh. us? Shall we?

Sure thing

OK

- Big smiles. - Hey. Why only you two?

Include us too! Come on!

Hey. Come on, man.

- Do you mind, Miss Mustika? - It's OK, it's OK. I really don't mind.

- Okay, - Thank you. Of course

So we're doing a group photo?

- Yeah, of course, - OK then.

One, two, three

Goodbye, Mr. Firefighter.

Thank you, Mr. Firefighter. Thank you!

FIRE AND RESCUE STATION PRESINT 14, PUTRAJAYA

It's becoming more and more common for industry players to be using the gas,

nitrogen.

And accidents involving this gas are increasing.

Can anyone tell me, in detail, the risks we have?

- It seems that in - Since nitrogen is an

odorless and tasteless gas,

if there is a leak,

especially when it comes to a confined space,

that nitrogen can be very dangerous because

it can replace the oxygen in the air and can cause suffocation.

Impressive.

OK.

Let's now continue on with the next video and safety procedures.

Size up.

Stabilize.

Clear. Clear.

Shoot, shoot, shoot!

Break glass.

Clear

Breathe like usual, sir.

- Pulse clear. - Break the glass.

Cutter, go.

Jordan

High cut first

This way is faster, sir.

Follow instructions

Fahmi, Fahmi, Fahmi

- Goal! - Goal!

- Yeah - Woo! Yeah!

Why didn't you listen to the order? Because I've always Being used to making

the cut from the bottom.

Because, I've always been used to cutting it from the bottom.

Cutting from the top or from the bottom, isn't it the same thing?

The procedure is a top cut

And what's in the middle?

Your egos.

Something you both need to work on.

Listen, everyone.

I have an announcement to make.

First of all, I've accepted a promotion.

I will be transferred to Southern Division.

It's OK, Chief.

Whatever it is, we hope that it goes very well.

Thank you.

When will you be transferring there?

You don't have to prove anything now.

You're already in alpha unit.

Thank you, Chief.

And what about Landak?

You're taking the cat too?

Of course I'm taking the cat.

You can find a new mascot.

And you can name your mascot too.

After your endless girlfriends.

Endless girlfriends.

I don't have a girlfriend.

I'm still single.

- You sure? - Yeah

Syafiq told me the teacher is gorgeous.

Did you get her number?

I didn't.

It was too busy that day.

Not enough time?

Or scared?

Ha ha ha. Come on this is Amir. I'm not scared.

But you need to remember.

When you wear this shirt,

we're all like a family.

Respect is earned.

Not given.

Chief, Sir Anuar is waiting.

I saw from up in the air.

Station one looks bad.

Do we have any updates?

As far as I know, there are three stations.

One of the stations is close to the residence.

More units from other states are on their way.

Waiting for Alpha team, please respond.

Sir.

What's our situation?

There was an explosion at the main TEXVIN plant.

All local units are currently on site, controlling the fire.

Alpha team.

Charlie team.

Head to Station 2. Bravo team is still on its way.

They'll be sent there to assist you in Station 2.

There is a possibility that the fire at Station 1 could spread to Station 2.

You're going there on standby.

Is there any way to stop Station 2 from exploding?

We're waiting to hear back from TEXVIN.

What about Station 4, near Kincang town, sir?

Another unit is evacuating the residence in Kincang town.

We're giving them time to leave.

That's all we can do for now.

Hey

Focus

Follow orders

Yes sir.

Listen up, everyone.

There's a possibility Station 2 will be affected.

We control that fire if the station explodes.

Sir.

What is the situation at the main plant?

The fire over there has been controlled and contained.

It may take a day or two to completely extinguish.

What's important is that we need to know, the integrity of Station 2's pipeline.

So, what's the risk?

We can no longer open the valve to stabilize

the pressure. If the pressure rises, the station could explode.

And, a chain reaction will occur, sir.

Sham.

I want you and your team to control that side.

Yes, Chief.

Place. Enough men

Lets get set up. Bravo's coming.

Hose. Pipe's ready.

Causing the pressure to push forward to Station 3.

Station 3 might explode.

Alpha.

- Status. - Sir.

One more valve still to open.

- Alpha. - You need to get your

- unit out of there now. - If the valve isn't opened it explodes.

What about the villagers? It's the last one.

Ugh.

Done

Don't come close.

Uh Chief

Huh?

God

Alpha, did you hear that?

Eddy

While an officer Ahmad Rozaidi was killed.

The deceased, who had served for 15 years, leaves behind a widow.

The fire department is identifying the cause of this incident.

And we'll be taking further safety measures.

POSITION: SENIOR FIRE OFFICER I GRADE: KB24

We have come to express our condolences to you.

And your family.

We would like to return these items.

All these items

Belonged to the deceased.

Because of Eddy.

The villages are all safe.

Are you aware

That he cared for you all.

He always considered.

This department to be his second home and

considers all of you.

As his own family.

He always told me that

Apart from us two

These are the two important things that we always.

Carried on his shoulders.

Eddy is our main pillar.

All of us owe him our lives.

As long as we're here

We won't let him down.

Your needs are equal to Eddie's.

If you need any help.

We will be there.

Jordan

Amir.

Amir. No fighting.

It won't help.

Why did you stop me?

Eddy's orders.

You refused to help

Don't stop me.

Orders from Eddy.

You are

A coward

Because of you, Eddy's dead.

Stop it, Amir!

You're nothing but a coward

Amir, please respect the late Eddy.

Shut up, you

If you weren't here

Eddy would still be alive

Just following orders.

- Oh, so now you follow them. - Wait, wait, wait, wait.

Sir

What's wrong with all of you?

Eddy just died.

Is this how you honour his memory?

Dismissed.

Yes sir

Yes, sir.

Amir.

My office tomorrow.

Look.

Eddy's death has nothing to do with anyone.

That's the risk he took.

It was his decision to make.

Jordan, was just following those orders.

Blaming the team members, is not our way.

I want you to take a leave of absence.

I want you to take a break.

Get some clear thoughts.

And, if after the leave, you still can't accept the situation.

You can resign.

Amir.

Eddy always had high hopes for you to lead his unit.

Don't let his dreams down.

This is Eddie's favourite cat

Promise me something, Amir

You'll take care of it, OK?

Peace be with you.

And unto you peace.

- Hey. Hey - Grandpa, hey

It's been so long since you came back.

How are you?

I'm fine. Upstairs first.

What's wrong, mum?

Even though I'm being transferred, we're still buddies until the end.

Eddy

Ah I seek forgiveness, dear God.

Peace be upon us and the pious slaves of God.

There is no deity but God,

and the prophet is his servant and messenger.

Dear God,

I ask you for strength in my faith,

for health in my body, increased knowledge and blessings

in my sustenance. All praises be for you, God. Lord of the whole universe.

May God accept from us and from you.

Accept it, dear God.

What's wrong, Amir?

Come on, let's go.

Eddy?

Eddy?

Oh my God

- Hey, Tam You around? Mm - Hisham.

Ah, you've arrived early.

Ah, I have lots to do.

All right then!

Hey,

Are you daydreaming? What are you thinking of, Amir?

I'm thinking of quitting, Grandpa.

It's a difficult career.

The hardest job is when we shoulder the responsibility.

It's a big responsibility.

When we

Take the lives of others.

In our hands.

But isn't that what you always wanted?

When you first made the decision to become a firefighter.

Following

In the footsteps of your late father.

But the difference is that

He knew the risks.

His spirit

Never wavered

He was willing to accept.

Whatever

That was going to come his way.

It's not the same.

You don't get it.

What do I not get?

About death

Your late grandma

When she passed away

Do you think I don't understand about death?

- What I mean is… - What I mean is, Life and

death are in the hands of God,

am I right?

Correct?

Firefighters are the ones that put the lives of others.

And the community ahead of their own.

Isn't that the principle?

Of being a firefighter

But

Think about it

What will be the legacy That you choose to leave behind.

When your time has come

I can't believe it.

I can't believe that is his child.

Eh. Finally, they've arrived!

These are the people

This is the convoy

Quite a number of them

Yes.

- Yes. - Hisham, here you go.

Just a little gift for you.

- Praise be to God. Thank you. - You're welcome. Not a problem.

You're delivering it to an orphanage?

It's not far from here.

We come to donate the supplies.

Do you come here often?

Not really.

This is just our 2nd time.

We like to go wherever it is. Where the community needs help.

Uh just here. Hi. Uh just here. Hi.

Just put it here?

A firefighter was killed.

Do you know him?

My best friend.

Oh, really?

I'm very sorry for asking.

Uh, help yourself.

Would you like anything else?

Coffee?

Uh.

Thank you.

Was being a firefighter always your dream?

Yeah.

Oh, because of my dad.

He was one too.

Oh.

He died saving a child.

I was only young.

I can still recall

him getting a medal.

Given to Mom.

We both met many people who said thank you because my father used to help people.

To them, dad was a hero.

I want to be just like him.

Many people out there.

Need people like us.

Do good

And then throw away all those deeds.

Into the sea Do good

And throw in the sea.

What makes you happy?

Me?

Just like you

Helping

But only what I can manage.

Hm.

Besides teaching

I do charity work like this.

Every time my friends and I help the unfortunate people

That's where I get most satisfied and my happiness.

See you back in the city.

Sure.

Ride safely.

Thank you

You promise?

Anytime,

yeah Your truck.

Anytime.

Ready, everyone?

- Yes. - We'll take the usual route.

OK.

Let's go.

What about you?

What makes you happy?

When I can say I saved someone's life.

I feel honored to be able to help society with my abilities.

Even though,

I can't fight fate.

Understood

You're right

We really can't fight fate.

But the important thing always is.

Our actions that follow that.

Don't give up.

Sure

Sir.

Amir.

Ready to start your duty?

Sir, why don't you order your men to go onto the floor and put out the fire

The terrorists have sprayed magnesium powder on the 79th floor.

Water alone will only make the fire bigger.

The water pressure is not enough.

Unless, we can some way suppress the fire.

Unless We can some way suppress the fire.

All units.

We need a backdraft.

117TH FLOOR (ALPHA ONE'S TEAM)

Sir.

We could try blowing up the lift motor room.

Ma'am.

The phone.

- Here you go. - OK.

- Both of you wait here. - OK.

So what's the plan?

Take that.

Here is the lift shaft. 118 floors.

Top to bottom. Hollow space.

This is the building.

And this, is the lift shaft.

And what's this, sir?

This is the roof.

We're here now.

If we launch the nitrogen tank from here up to the roof, the roof will explode.

And, we'll create a vacuum that will suck all the fire out of here.

- OK. - Then our team can

enter and put out the fire.

Backdraft.

Correct.

Everyone listen.

Once Amir successfully blows up the lift's motor room and creates a backdraft,

all units will put out the fire on their respective floors.

Amir.

Once the lift's motor room is blown up,

create go-code.

Go-code. Landak.

Right. Go code, Landak. Everyone get ready.

But Chief, I want to help.

That's an order.

But, Chief. How can I just leave you here, on your own?

Jordan.

Just follow the order, OK?

But, Chief.

We can't repeat the incident of Chief Eddy.

And then try and live with the guilt. I can't do it.

We can't afford to lose another leader.

Please, Chief.

Withdraw the order.

If we race again,

can you win?

Of course, if we race again, I definitely win.
