men, ambitions, and all the rest of it.

suddenly realized I was terrified.

When I heard that knock for a moment, I
didn't want to move. You were just

And I'm not going to worry, wonder, and
plan until I'm sure, absolutely sure,

that he means us no harm.

little frightening.

mostly about your uncle.

From the minute you mentioned his name
around this place, it was like someone

had thrown a bomb.
