[Melody Awakens Memories, Identity Revealed]

[Previously] Where am I?

Who am I?

Here's your reward, beggar.

Eat it off the ground.

No need to thank me.

You eat it.

Hack him to pieces!

- Yes! - Yes!

Princess Ruyan has arrived!

It's you.

Princess Ruyan, do you know this man?

Well, well.

Who would have thought

the Princess' lover would be a beggar?

He's not my lover.

He's my husband.

I let the maids tailor new robes

after your former attire's fashion.

Does it fit well

on you?

You...

I...

Am I

really your husband?

If so,

who am I?

These are not important.

Just remember,

you are Ye Chen.

Ye

Chen?

Ruyan!

Ruyan!

It said that you've recognized a beggar as your husband,

what's going on?

Im...

Immortal?

Ruyan,

I have something to discuss with you.

Come out here for a moment.

Ruyan,

he truly has saving-life grace toward our family.

But even so,

you cannot gamble with your reputation.

Father, please forgive me.

The situation was dire,

and I had no choice

but use this lowly strategy.

You...

Ruyan,

he is a high-and-mighty immortal.

Moreover, he has a wife!

You and he...

Father, rest assured.

I have my own discretion.

Father,

Ye Chen has lost his memories.

Could you please

find some medicines to restore his memories?

You may return for now.

Leave these matters

to me.

Yes.

Such is fate.

Young master,

eat this.

Take your time.

Let me wipe your face for you.

As father said, Immortals and mortals are worlds apart.

I know it well.

I know once you regain your memories,

you'll leave this place.

Perhaps centuries later,

you'll forget me

as well as everything between us,

but I don't care.

As long as you're with me now,

that's enough.

Where is this?

Why am I here?

You...

You've regained your memories?

My head!

The Guqin's melody

can heal his amnesia?

What exactly is going on?

It's just a tune.

How could it work wonders?

That is the Awakening Chapter of the Nine Nether Immortal Melody,

not an ordinary tune.

You mean three years have passed since we last met?

And I only regained my senses after hearing that melody?

Yes.

Heavenly Thunder Taoist clone!

Probably, the Deity Fire and Heavenly Thunder Taoist clones

being destroyed at the same time

caused my memory chaos.

I never imagined

three whole years have passed.

Martial Aunt Ling'er and the others

must be worried sick.

Sorry,

I must return to the Heavenly Court immediately.

I'll need your Guqin's melody,

so please

accompany me on this journey.

Don't stop playing.

Tell me if you can't hold on.

Under...

Understood.

Let's go!

Are you alright?

I'm...

I'm fine.

Must be the wrong posture.

Soar to the heavens!

Soar to the heavens!

Soar to the heavens!

Soar to the heavens!

The Tao Principles must be damaged,

causing unstable spiritual energy that prevents flight.

Just contact Ye Xingchen.

Ye Xingchen!

Ye Xingchen!

Answer me now!

Oh no,

you fail me at the critical moment!

Just wait till I get back.

Princess,

are you alright?

Yes,

I'm fine.

Wait,

I almost forgot Zi Xuan.

Zi Xuan,

to the Heavenly Court.

Wait!

She actually erased my Spirit's Imprint!

Seriously?

You can't just treat me like this!

You...

You...

Your Highness, look out!

Your Highness,

I have always listened to you play this melody,

and I know every note by heart.

Let me take over.

Fine.

What's happening?

The Guqin's melody isn't working anymore.

Ms. Donghuang,

why has it

stopped taking effect?

Not anyone's playing can make it work.

The melody itself is only part of it.

What truly matters is love.

Only with profound love...

Ye Chen.

can the melody awaken the world.

Ye Chen fell into the cycle

of reality and illusion because of love,

and only through love...

Ye Chen.

can he be pulled from this suffering.

I thought I heard the Guqin's melody just now.

But for some reason,

I couldn't wake up.

I feel sorry for the Princess's hands.

I had intended to play in her place.

But

you only seem to respond to her playing.

Please find me a cultivator.

I need someone to deliver a message.

But the cultivator in the mortal realm is the Imperial Preceptor,

and he's just a low-level one.

I'm afraid...

Don't worry.

I have my ways.

As for the rest,

leave it to me.

My...

dear.

I...

I'll send someone

to summon the Imperial Preceptor.

[Three days later]

[Li Xiao, Imperial Preceptor of the Kingdom of Nanzhao]

I'm Li Xiao, Imperial Preceptor of the Kingdom of Nanzhao,

asking to see Your Highness.

Who are you?

A cultivator?

What do you want to do to the Princess?

I'm here.

Don't even think about breaking in.

Stop!

Renyuan Stage cultivation

is indeed lacking.

Yet you dare face an opponent

far stronger than yourself.

Your courage is commendable.

Your Highness.

You're not an assassin?

This...

Forgive me.

We have urgent business.

We hope you can

help us.

I need you

to deliver this blade

to the Heavenly Court of South Chu.

Since you request it,

I shall spare no effort.

Time is short.

I shall elevate your cultivation

to the Lingxu Stage.

Thus,

you may reach there earlier.

Lingxu Stage?

Thank you!

I shall not fail this mission!

In this way,

the days spent with him

are numbered.

Your Highness, you are in such a good mood,

coming out to admire the moon so late at night.

Who are you?

Dare you trespass the Princess's Mansion?

Guards!

You're actually a cultivator.

What are you doing here?

You have humiliated me in public

and your father refused to cede the city.

Then I have no choice but to tie you up

and make Liu Qingquan kneel and submit to Kingdom of Tunu.

Stop putting up the futile resistance.

The only cultivator, Li Xiao,

is no longer in Nanzhao.

No one can save you.

That's not necessarily the case.

Still have the mood to play the Guqin when you're about to die?

Who are you?

The one who will destroy you.

You scoundrel!

I am the young master of the Dulong Sect,

a cultivator at the Renyuan Stage.

Die!

Hungry Tiger Pounce!

Ah?

What did you say?

I'm going to kill...

Cut the crap!

Well...

I didn't expect him to be so weak.

I didn't control my strength in time.

[Chief of Dulong Sect]

How dare!

How dare a mere mortal kill my son!

You go to Nanzhao immediately.

I want all of them to be buried with my son.

Yes!

The Kingdom of Nanzhao killed the young master of Dulong Sect.

You all are unforgivable!

Today,

I will flatten Nanzhao

as a warning to the world.

As a mere cultivator at Zhenyang Stage,

you sure talk big.

He's dead?

Send someone again.

I don't believe that a mere mortal kingdom

can turn the world upside down.

Chief,

wait a moment.

In my opinion,

there should be a master hidden in Nanzhao.

It's better to make a clear investigation before any actions.

If that person is really a reclusive master,

let's report it to the Blood Spirit family

and ask for their help.

All right.

I'll leave this matter to you.

Yes.

The Holy Lord...

The Holy Lord of the Heavenly Court?

Ye Chen?

Hey,

I heard

some people haven't followed the official account of Legend of Xianwu yet.

I...

Let's kill her together first.
