[Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from "Xianwu Dizun" by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 39] [Twists and Turns in Grand Competition]

[Previously...] Is this the Spiritual Body？

It is really something.

So beautiful

So powerful.

I announce

that Three-Sect Competition, which is held once every three years,

begins now.

(This is)

(secret magic of Invisibility.)

(Six Immortal Wheel Eyes)

(helps me to replicate invisibility.)

Looks like we'll see the outcome soon.

(This Immortal Eye is truly a treasure.)

(If it can also replicate other moves.)

It's over.

Formless Stamp.

In the first match,

Xue Yin from Zhengyang Sect wins.

They are not on the same level at all.

Hengyue Sect is bound to lose.

Indeed.

Next game.

Zhou Ao from Qingyun Sect

fights against Nie Feng from Hengyue Sect.

Bai Yi from Zhengyang Sect wins.

(Even though I've learned many secrets with the Immortal Eye,)

(Hengyue Sect has actually lost three matches in a row.)

Oh, no.

Hengyue Sect's luck is too bad, isn't it?

All its disciples at lower stages met the others at higher stages.

I'm afraid Hengyue Sect will have no one left before the finals.

Next,

Ji Ningshuang from Zhengyang Sect, who has the Spiritual Body,

fights against Yang Bin from Hengyue Sect.

Meeting the Spiritual Body at this time.

(Can't detect any spiritual energy fluctuations on her.)

(Her strength is truly unfathomable.)

Just now, her movements

were like a dragonfly skimming the water.

One in a million with the Spiritual Body.

Naturally, she stands out among all.

Now the pressure is on Yang Bin.

That boy won't be too scared to go up, right?

So, is that the Spiritual Body of this generation?

Truly stunning as expected.

Let's bet and see.

I wonder how long the boy against her can hold on.

Seventh True Transmission of Hengyue Sect.

I bet he won't last a round.

I bet three.

The good show is about to begin.

(Use the Qin as a weapon.)

(The player of the Qin is also in love.)

(Ji Ningshuang,)

(Do you have a heart for the Qin?)

She's just playing the Qin normally.

(Something's not right with her aura.)

Shocking Spirit Pearl.

What's happened?

Yang Bin from Hengyue Sect has already fallen.

I thought I was unimpressed,

but today is truly eye-opening.

(Soul-injuring by touch.)

(This is the Spiritual Body.)

(I wonder,)

(if I can win against you.)

Indeed, it only took one move.

You are truly discerning, My Lord.

(Nine Hades Fairy Melody,)

(the girl with Spiritual Body,)

(is really extraordinary.)

Fantastic!

Zhengyang Sect wins again.

Great!

Zhengyang Sect is the best.

Alright.

Won again.

The last match today.

Liu Yi from Hengyue Sect

fights against Hua Yun from Zhengyang Sect.

Liu Yi,

the steps here are high.

If you fall and damage the flowers and plants, what will you do?

The aura is so chaotic.

Could he be injured by Dao?

Injured in the spirit and soul.

I'm afraid even sixty percent of his strength can't be exerted.

Senior,

How about giving up?

What do you think?

The disciples from Hengyue Sect

were never afraid to fight.

But...

Don't worry.

I have a way to deal with it.

With your current state,

you're not even as good as a Renyuan Stage.

Why should I fight with you?

Just this.

Liu Yi,

Hengyue Sect is already in such a sorry state today.

It doesn't really matter if you lose.

How about kneeling and begging for mercy now?

I can still save you some face.

Is it

Heavenly Sacrifice?

The forbidden technique that burns vital blood

to temporarily boost internal potential.

Senior intends to gamble with his life.

Why do their moves look so similar?

These two techniques originated from the same source,

developed from the Tai Wujing method of the three sects' founders.

After the founder dead,

the descendants of the three sects disagreed over the Tai Wujing method,

splitting into two factions.

One interprets heaven and earth as Tai Chi,

which is your Senior's Tai Chi Performance of Heaven.

The other transforms heaven and earth into Yin and Yang,

which is what Hua Yun displayed, the Yin Yang Limitless.

Both are superior techniques,

each with its own merits.

When energy is maximized,

it becomes extremely formidable.

Tai Chi Performance of Heaven.

Yin Yang Limitless.

Senior's Dao injury has flared up again.

Forbidden techniques can only boost combat power briefly,

and the backlash is severe.

I'm afraid he won't last long.

Destroy!

This is the first best inner sect disciple of Hengyue Sect.

It seems like your Hengyue Sect is in desperate need of people.

You're recruiting all kinds of people.

Hua Yun,

don't be too arrogant.

Watch me tear your mouth apart.

Hold it!

It's not your turn yet.

But...

Wu Changqing, what are you waiting for?

Yang Dingtian, what's your hurry?

Perhaps Liu Yi can still stand up. Who knows?

In the final match today,

Hua Yun from Zhengyang Sect wins.

Hua Yun,

you better pray we don't meet on the battleground.

What are you?

Just a reject kicked out by my Zhengyang Sect,

nothing more.

Hope you'll still be smiling then.

26 participants had competited yesterday.

The top 13 advanced

and one received a bye,

[Ye Chen from Hengyue Sect] so there are 14 disciples left in total.

Let the drawing begin.

Although your lifeline is secured,

your cultivation is ruined,

and there is no more progress from now on.

(Hua Yun,)

(just you wait.)

It's him.

Game one today,

Xue Yin from Zhengyang Sect fights against Ye Chen from Hengyue Sect.

the one who had a bye yesterday.

Exactly, him.

The one goes straight to the next round without competetion.

But his luck might run out today,

facing Xue Yin,

no chance at all.

Ye Chen, right?

This battle seems unnecessary.

Show some tact, and save face for yourself.

Your sect members love to talk too much.

How long will your stubbornness last?

Ah, this move again.

Hengyue Sect's boy is in for it.

Formless Stamp.

What?

[Next episode] Don't fight this battle.

Bai Yi's strength is formidable.

I don't want you getting hurt.

Ye Chen,

are you scared?

Illusory Phantom.

(It's not bright early or late.)

(Why now?)

(Test me at this moment?)

Ye Chen,

feeling desperate?
