[The Legend of Xianwu]

[Adapted from "Xianwu Dizun" by Liu Jie San Dao]

[Episode 30: The Twins of Chu's and Soul Trials]

[Previously...]

It's just a puppet at mystic level.

I am better than that.

Falling Flower Sword Formation.

Go away.

I heard you fought with Qi Yang.

You got away by relying on a puppet.

I've figured out how to train you.

Is it possible

that master likes me?

Lie down.

Master,

it's not appropriate, is it?

Master,

I've only advanced to Renyuan Stage.

Why would there be a test from the heaven?

The test depends on talent only.

The more talented you are, the more the heavens envy you.

So there is a test to destroy you.

Master,

what should I do?

You can only overcome the test by yourself.

I can't intervene.

Anyway,

fight it or dodge it,

do whatever it takes to get through it.

What a horrible feeling of oppression.

Savage Body Refinement, Fury of Beast.

The test from the heaven is so strong.

I can't resist it.

I'd better dodge.

(Running away is not an option)

Flame Dragon Palm.

I know you're gifted

But with such a test,

I've underestimated you after all.

For the last strike of thunder,

you must make it.

(Am I going to die?)

(But even if I die,)

(I will die like a man.)

(It's finally over.)

Is Master worried about me?

Yes.

Because no master should outlive the disciple.

You finally admit you are getting old?

It's almost broken.

You're making such a big fuss.

It's not good for you to draw too much attention to yourself.

It looks like someone's having a test from the heaven.

From the power of the test, that person who's facing it must be something special.

I wonder which sect's genius is it?

Could it be the Spiritual Body of the Zhengyang Sect?

It's so cold.

Master, hold me tighter.

I have something to do.

Go back by yourself.

You really can't be trusted.

Forget it.

I'd better go to the Jade Pool to recover first.

Finally, the self-cultivation is over.

Sister, you're here.

Your senses have become sharper.

I guess I've gained a lot from this self-cultivation.

For sure.

It's been so long, I smell very bad.

Sister, let's talk later.

I have to go to the Jade Pool to take a dip.

You are still acting like a kid.

It's true that if you don't die, you'll be blessed.

After the heavenly thunder hit the body,

it is twice as strong as before.

The Jade Pool is really effective in healing wounds.

I've recovered.

(It's him)

Master,

you're still worried about me, aren't you?

You bad guy,

now I've found you.

I won't spare you.

Master,

what are you doing?

You bad guy,

you're dead today.

Master,

what is wrong with you?

Your life,

I'll take it.

(Two masters.)

(So, I've been mistaking you for someone else all along?)

(It wasn't the master that night.)

(It was her sister.)

(This is a big mistake.)

Sister,

why do you stop me?

If I hadn't stopped you.

you would have killed my disciple.

He's your disciple?

Don't you know Ye Chen?

Wasn't it you who gave me the token to find him?

Sister,

it was because...

(I can't let her know that I was poisoned by the Hehuan pill.)

Master,

actually...

Actually, it was a misunderstanding.

There are no male disciples at Jade Mountain.

When I saw him at the Jade Pool,

I thought he was a bad guy.

But now I see, it is a misunderstanding.

No.

(Kid, if you dare to say that, you're dead.)

It was a misunderstanding.

Since the young master is here,

who'd dare to challenge a man like you.

What did you say?

Man?

Luckily, master didn't suspect anything.

I hope she won't come after me

for master's sake.

(The fight earlier,)

(I seem to feel a strange aura in Core Domain.)

(It's the lightning left in my body from the test from the heaven.)

(It was collected by True Fire.)

Go.

(No wonder it is called heavenly lightning.)

(Just a trace of it, but it is so powerful.)

Who's there?

Seal it.

What is this?

It's a Soul Tablet Formation.

It's a place to cultivate the soul.

Young master,

why did you bring me here?

Ye Chen,

don't play dumb here.

Let's cut the crap.

Since you are my sister's disciple,

as long as you pass the test,

I'll forget what happened between you and me.

How about another test?

I'm not good at souls.

Kid,

I'm not negotiating with you.

Start.

Chu Ling'er, you are crazy.

Benlei Palm.

It seems that Soul Attacks can only be resisted with one's own soul power.

Not good.

The strength of the Soul Tablet Formation is too much for me to endure.

A man at Renyuan Stage will die in half a moment.

If my sister asks about it,

I'll say Ye Chen's haste in practicing led to the destruction of his soul

Is this what the destruction of soul feels like?

Ye Chen, how dare you?

We are not a good match.

You and I should part ways.

Today, since you are here,

you won't go out alive.

I haven't got my revenge yet.

I haven't gone to the Three-Sect Competition yet.

I can't die now.

Break it.

What a powerful soul.

The strength of soul comes from the willpower.

What has this kid been through?

Young master, you will keep your word, right?

Young master,

if there's nothing else,

I'll take my leave now.

Who cares?

Do you still want to torture Ye Chen?

Sister, when did you come?

When you took Ye Chen.

Sister,

you followed me.

You two acted in front of me.

You thought I'd believe it.

Although I do not know what happened between you two.

But from what I know of Ye Chen,

he is not a person of bad character.

Madam,

we're almost there.

Hold on a little longer.

If there are any misunderstandings, explain them as soon as possible.

You are my only sister,

he is my only disciple.

I want you to get along.

He...

Forget it.

I won't bother your precious disciple again.

[Next episode] (My soul has been greatly enhanced.)

(It seems that yesterday's suffering)

(is not completely worthless.)

It's a Three-stranded Soul Elixir.

With this,

my soul cultivation

might be able to advance to mystic level.

Do you know what day today is?

You're just at Renyuan Stage.

How dare he challenge me at Zhenyang Stage?

Senior, let's get straight.

What do you want?

I want you

to die.
