hello everyone welcome back to another
tutorial from sis admin 102 in today's
video I will show you how to
disable the new view
driver and install the Nvidia driver
so first thing we need to figure out
what Nvidia rapid car we have on our
system so you can do that by using the
command
AOS PCI
and then we're gonna rip the Nvidia
so tell me that I currently have the the
GeForce GTX 1080 TI
and to determine which driver is
currently running we can use the AOS PCI
command again that's yes and you're
gonna specify the Divide ID which is 41
00.0 and dash B
and tell me that they're currently the
kernel driver in use is a new view
so first we're gonna download the Nvidia
driver for the GTX 1080 TI
all right and we're gonna hit on Google
search for NVIDIA
driver
and download
and tensary GTX 1080 TI Linux 64-bit
I'm gonna download that one
I'm Gonna Keep It In a dialog folder
all right and we have the Nvidia travel
downloaded on the xs54
and Next Step we're gonna lock in the
console TTY console so you can do that
by um selecting a control alt and F1 on
your keyboard
and then you can log in with your
username and password
all right
I'm gonna use the clear command to make
room
and Next Step you're gonna
create a blacklist file to disable the
new view
so we can do that by using the sudo
command
now no
Splash Etc splash
mod
and uh
generate create a five
uh Blacklist
that
New View
n-o-u-v-e-a-u.com f
all right and uh it's gonna be uh
Blacklist
New View n-o-u-b-e-a-u
and option
New View n-o-u-b-e-a-u
most said
space equal zero
and condone X to x's and y for yes
all right
and next we're gonna regenerate a kernel
using the sudo
update Dash init Ram that's you
and after that you would reboot the
system
so after you reboot you're gonna lock in
what your username and password
and next you're gonna do the CD command
to change the directory to downloads
and then you can do a sudo at inch
and uh
Nvidia file that we downloaded
select yes
select okay
select yes
select yes
and after that you would reboot the
system
all right now that we reboot the system
next we're gonna open up a terminal and
we're gonna run the command Nvidia
Dash SMI
and as you see we have Nvidia driver and
a q diversion 1242 currently in process
and now uh Kali Linux system
and that's it for today video If you
think the tutorial is helpful don't
forget to subscribe like and share thank
you for watching and I'll see you guys
in the next video bye bye
