Would Shadow let me pet her? No.

And did I get beat up? A little bit. But
that's because I did this.

The second my hand comes at that cat,
she's like, and then she's after me.

So based on their body language now,
what they react to, and what I saw,

especially with Capri handling...

Both cats, really. We got a problem.

Like, we got a problem.

Capri's going to break Sophie back at
some point. She doesn't have the

If we can't get a handle on what's going
on, I would recommend that you rehome

the cats.

Capri is not responsible for her own

Now, last time I was here, I saw things
that I will never be able to unsee.

Capri grabbed Sophie like she was

his feet first, doing this kicking

Today, I'm hoping they've learned some

Well, most cats lick.

Well, Albert licks all the time. And it
really hurts, you know, sometimes

because his tongue is very sharp.

Right. If you're being licked constantly
by your cat, it can be really painful.

Cats have papillae on their tongues,
which are backward -facing hooks made of

keratin, the same material that makes up
your cat's claws.

A papillae help cats grasp meat off the
bones and assist them in grooming by

acting as a comb to pull out loose fur
and dirt.

Is it pretty much a guarantee that if
you see Albert walking in the room and

jumps up and he hangs out, that you're
going to start getting licked? Yeah,

we see with dogs where they kiss us? In

my experience, no. Is it grooming and

incessant this licking really is, and
there's only really one way to find out.

This is one of the stranger things I've

I've been licked by a lot of cats, but
this cat not only starts licking your

toes, he nibbles at the same time as
well. And that is not a comfortable

feeling, not even a little bit. So,
we've got to make it stop.

interested in anything else besides
licking.

Just like a normal one -year -old cat.

you try to get around, buddy. When you

get it with your paws.

Because your paws are so stubby. I was
really torn watching Albert play. His

body prevents him from doing all of the
things that naturally come to cats.

progress with Albert.

Christine is trying to train for the
Olympics, so she has to understand that

I was amazed to see that.

It could work and it could fix all of
it. That was a big turning point for us

see that this behavior can be changed.

Guys, that is huge.

That's the moment I was waiting for when
you can prove to your clients that a

cat can take an obsessive compulsive
problem and just forget about it. That

clean up our feet and I got more

hope.

seriously. And I think they will because

Albert couldn't play and he couldn't

It'll also help stimulate and redirect

him from this obsession he has with
licking.

And the next thing I want you guys to do
is practice redirecting his attention

onto the toys. And you've got to follow
through and make sure you play every

time. Finally, I need you guys to re
-examine the citrus mittens and socks.

You've got to be able to say no in order
to say yes.

Every corner of the room has tunnels and
toys and ramps. And now that he has

territory to own and a way to burn off
his energy, he doesn't feel the need to

lick as much. Now, I want to see Albert
using that space.

little bit.

what I saw you doing on the video
