then... He laid it on me out of nowhere that he spoke with Josiah's biological

father. And because he would not like that, he made the decision to not adopt

Josiah. After talking to him, I thought about my father and I thought about the

things that I went through.

Because really, this adoption is just a piece of paper.

But now he's writing this book where he's talking about step -parenting, so

confused. And I just don't know why his mind has changed or why the back and

forth. And it's heartbreaking.

I don't care if Ricky is a part of his life or not, I'm here.

I'm just, you know, I just need, like, to reflect a little bit, because what I

thought was happening isn't, and I need to understand.

been on this journey.

I haven't. For us to get to this point, I had to just go through this journey by

myself before we can really truly pull you into the process. And so now is that

everybody knows I'm the step -parent to my son, Josiah, which I also claim to be

my real son.

But there was a big journey that went through.

cannot logically adopt him if his father wants to be a part of his life. So wait

He did make the decision that he wanted to adopt Josiah, but he had a

conversation with Josiah's biological father, and that conversation led him to

feel uneasy about moving forward because Josiah's biological father has

expressed that will break his heart. You know, it's hard. Like, one day, you're

a parent. I'm a foster child, so I'm like, how are you going to adopt me?
