Well, our relationship is strained

because of what I told you happened with
the whole Kenya's PSA.

For my first wedding, my father and my
brother both walked me down the aisle.

Domestic violence, PSA, caused a huge
rift in my relationship with my dad.

He became insanely jealous.

He did something bad enough for me to
grab a knife.

My dad lives in Alabama, and the last
time I saw my dad was probably a couple

years ago.

shouldn't matter what other people want

because they're coming to celebrate us.

Although I don't have the closest
relationship with my dad, he's not going

here forever.

So I just want to at least give him the
option to come if he would like to come.

It could be drama with my mom. I mean,
she'll just be uncomfortable and upset

with me. It seems like you're caring
more about what other people think on

day than what you feel.

As my parent, my mom has consistently
been there, so she definitely has earned

the right to do whatever the hell she
wants to do at the wedding.

father wasn't present.

If he had it his way, he would have
loved to have his dad around every day.

It's been just crazy, you know what I'm
saying? I never would have ever in my

life imagined.

unexpectedly.

loving the fun times, loving the date

nights, loving them when they look good.
It's loving all of them, even the bad

some healing that took place.

This experience made me really truly
think about, you know, really focusing

the good things that we share and the
good times that we have. And I'm sorry

all the agony and pain sometimes that I

But after losing Ralph's dad, I am more

mom was like, it takes more than just

having money to be a parent. It takes a
whole village.

Period is $750 in order for it to be
socially distanced. Yeah.

I started Candy Cares in 2014 to be that
village for people who didn't have a

village. We're going to have all the
groceries there because the families

to sign up for a certain time slot so
they can drive up.

We put the food in their car, and they
drive off. We try to make it social

distance.

during this chaotic year. I felt it was
very important for me to bring my

friends together to be a part of it
because we're fortunate. Let's help

people who have lost and do something
positive.

That's like the worst thing that you
could ever do is lose yourself. It's
