so that I may regain peace
of mind, if only briefly.

PART 1
THE THIRTEENTH NIGHT

October 15th
Clear weather.

Soaring blue autumn skies.

Moonlight dances upon my sleeves
as I pass Kiku slope.

Somebody's at the door...

Oh, Oseki! Don't stand there.
