We need as many helping hands as we can around here because we're our slam.

We do not run a traditional firm. That is why we run it from my house.

Sorry.

You're fine.

Now, I know that your professors will tell you that there's particular rules

engagement to the attorney -client relationship.

But here, you will see how it works in the real world.

You only know you've been sheltered once you've stepped out from underneath.

Amber.

These are the lowercase files right here.

Sure,

I've had boys in the past, and maybe I was a little protected in upbringing.

Even my college was scheduled to use up any spare energy I might have left.

I never thought to resist, but perhaps only because the temptation was never

strong enough to warrant it.

Then came...

Isaiah Maxwell.

This wasn't my first paralegal job.

High -powered men are a staple in this industry, and every internship.

Every new position has just been a fresh checkbox in the steady march forward of

my planned -out life.

This was my first run -in with something I could only register as a carnal ape.

You understand?

Good. All right. I have to go to a lunch meeting, so see what you can get done

before I get back.

What is wrong with me?

And nothing feels so exposed as an unmet need.

This is Kate's Records.

You'll want to get to know that.

Library and literature.

And this is... Well, that's just laundry.

Oh, my God!

And I am trusting you with the only other key.

I hope you prepare for that.

Well?

Never been more ready.

Good. Are there any other questions?

Only one.

Well, what does non -traditional mean for you?

I think it means submitting to needs that you weren't supposed to.
