[Sword and Beloved]

[Episode 30]

We made it.

Miss Long.

Thank you.

Where is Rumu?

Celestial Master...

He's still with Gulizan.

Let's go.

Celestial Master,

may misfortunes never befall you.

The peace of the Western Regions

needs to be maintained by the four of us.

Celestial Master?

What happened?

Nothing.

I...

I was being too anxious.

What kind of stunt is he pulling?

We can't let this situation go on.

I've heard that in the Western Regions,

there's a mouth-to-mouth energy transferring method.

It may help him restore spiritual energy

and wake him up.

Good job,

my dear disciple.

Poor Dog,

are you sure of that?

Yes, I'm sure.

Master and I read about the secret art of the Western Regions.

The book does record this method.

Miss Long,

don't members of the Dragon Clan all have good medical skills?

Why don't you...

Miss Long,

at this point,

there isn't a better option.

What’s wrong, Miss Long?

You two…

I got it.

Poor Dog, come out with me.

Why do you have to be so nosy?

Stop looking at them!

I'm not!

Weiyun,

what

was ringing just now?

Nothing was ringing.

You heard it wrong.

Was that so?

But I heard it

quite clearly.

Now that you've recovered,

I should get going.

Weiyun!

Weiyun!

Where are you going?

The task I promised to tackle with you has been completed.

Of course I'm leaving for where I should be.

Miss Long,

where are you heading?

Are you leaving right now?

Yes.

To celebrate the victory against Gulizan

and the fact

that we can continue defending the Western Regions,

Xueyang is holding a party at the military camp tonight.

Right.

Won't it be nice to drink, sing, and watch the moon

together?

Yeah, Weiyun.

Don't you want to go with me

and make friends with the like-minded?

That's right, Miss Long.

We've just built good rapport between each other.

Why not stay and celebrate

with us tonight?

Please stay.

-Come on! -Come on!

Fill up your glasses.

To the four of us

defeating Gulizan with concerted efforts

and safeguarding the peace of the Western Regions.

Cheers!

Cheers!

Cheers, Miss Long.

Bottoms up.

Weiyun,

I've never seen you

smile so happily.

Given General Li's utter hospitality,

I surely must enjoy this party.

Don't read too much into it.

In addition,

after tonight,

you'll have to stop following me.

How can I stop?

Come on.

Let's drink.

Come on, have a drink.

Let's drink.

Drink up.

There's a hot pot here?

What a great atmosphere tonight!

Why not dance with us?

Let's do it!

Come with me!

Guys!

Move!

Boss is joining us!

I can't dance.

-Go. What do you mean you can't dance? -Miss Long, come along.

No more dawdling. Hurry!

I've never danced before.

Let's go!

Come on.

Let's

dance!

Weiyun,

I saw a bracelet on the way here.

I thought it'd definitely

look great on you.

Weiyun, in your heart,

I'm never the only one.

But I won't forget each and every word

you've said.

Are you alright?

Young Master Fugui,

suppose

we become stronger

through cultivation,

but only end up

losing the person we care most about.

Then what's the meaning

of our cultivation?

As Zhang Qi once said,

making a compromise

with this chaotic world shouldn't be the purpose of cultivation.

Qingtong,

rebuild the Peach Village here.

Let all the helpless souls adrift in troubled times

have a place to call home.

This is a proclamation from the governor of Qianji City to the world—

This city invites

[Edict]

those of insight and vision to come

and inaugurate a prosperous era where humans and demons coexist.

From today on,

all the humans and demons

that choose to settle in Qianji City

will be considered comrades

and protected by the city.

With Master by Miss Qingtong's side,

Qianji City will surely become the best city of all times.

Poor Dog.

We must work hard too.

Yes,

My Love!

Aren't you silly?

[Edict]

Master,

Senior Fugui and Qingtong have made huge contributions.

They not only found

the culprit behind the Night of Frost's Descent

and thus solved Elder Shouren's case,

but also

destroyed the Myriad Blight Formation in time

to prevent a catastrophe.

It takes actual actions to create

a prosperous and peaceful era.

It has to be like this,

starting from a small city.

As long as

there's hope in the heart,

even a single spark can start a prairie fire.

Master,

put your mind at ease.

Everything is looking up.

Young Master Fugui.

Yes?

It's late at night.

Still working on the compass?

I'm doing okay.

Did you drink alcohol?

Is the smell too strong?

I did drink a bit.

Are there no humans or demons

migrating to Qianji City?

There are.

It's just not that many.

Every now and then, there comes a new resident.

One is a boar demon

that weighs over 100 kilograms.

He eats 20 steamed buns in one meal.

Everything takes time.

Zhang Qi spent seven years

building up the Peach Village.

To build Qianji City

into a shelter like the Peach Village,

there's still a long way for you to go.

Got it.

Young Master Fugui,

how's it going with the study of the magic tool

that can track the Black Fox?

I guess I've made some progress.

If this compass is successfully developed,

it'll detect the Black Fox's energy.

But before that,

there's a long way for me to go too.

Hangover cures

are all bitter.

You solved the problem yourself

and saved your brother.

Qingtong,

your efforts weren't in vain.

Then, Young Master Fugui,

shouldn't you

reward me with some candy?

The candy has indeed

made me feel better.

The mission was already completed.

Yet you're still following me.

Why?

I'm here

to verify one thing.

I know

the Dragon Bone Bell rings

when you fall in love.

Previously, at the Li Army's camp,

I heard the bell ring.

Very clearly.

You heard an imaginary sound.

I don't believe it.

How about this?

Let me take a look at the bell

for confirmation.

Why would I let you?

You dare not do it.

Because I said it right, didn't I?

Do you hear it?

It's not ringing.

Will you just give up?

It shouldn't be like this.

I know what the problem is!

This must be it—

I don't look cool enough in this posture right now.

Give me a moment.

What about now?

Has the bell rung?

I'll adjust my posture.

One, two, three!

Now,

it should be ringing.

T-The bell

must be broken.

Or perhaps...

it has been affected

by today's

bad weather.

Right?

Right.

Weiyun,

look!

Auspicious iridescent clouds!

So beautiful.

It's said

that such clouds come with good news.

Does it mean...

we...

Anyway,

I've thought it through.

From now on,

I will never part with you again.

It was my fault for stupidly

saying

that I'd leave you alone

and set you free.

I was being foolish.

I said that nonsense

in the moment of silliness.

Weiyun...

Weiyun!

Weiyun!

I will wait till the bell rings again!

I'll keep waiting and waiting

right here!

-You... -I...

You...

Weiyun, you...

What's up?

T-There are shooting stars.

Come with me!

Weiyun, look.

A shower of shooting stars.

Oh, right.

It's said in storybooks that the wishes made to shooting stars

will absolutely come true.
