In that moment, he was so emotional,

and I could tell
that's all he was thinking about.

[Tkachuk] I got imaging done

and learned that full tear
right off the bone.

It was big, like five millimeters.

Debated getting surgery.

But if I would have got surgery,
it would have took me out

for the rest of the year, you know,
no questions asked.

It sucks.

Uh, it's been a really long road
to recovery that I'm still currently on.

And, uh, I just really hope that I can
come back at some point this year

because I've been fucking grinding.

So I just want to get back and play
an actual hockey game again.

[Blackburn] It's not gonna be easy
for Florida to repeat.

Matthew Tkachuk is still out,
and there's questions about

whether he's even gonna see the ice
for the remainder of the season.

If he's not suiting up for the Panthers,
they're a much worse hockey team.

I would have loved to have been part

Today is my first practice.
It wasn't a whole lot of battle.

But I've been feeling good.
