Black women in this country have never
been afforded the opportunity to have a

fully human experience.

Because the minute that we raise our
voice, which I acknowledge, I definitely

raised my voice.

It made me feel like you were painting
me with a broad brush that we

unfortunately do in this country when a
black woman shows up in a way that we

don't like.

It hurt me, Luann.

I would love it if you could be okay if
I'm upset sometimes and not use the term

angry because it does trigger the
stereotype of being an angry black

Luann, I've worked my whole life.

I work at Fox. I work in media.

to never show up as the angry black
woman because I have a responsibility to

black women I represent on these

sets off that kind of reaction.

reacting to a trigger that she just
explained to you really well.

saying angry. I am really sorry about

that. And I appreciate that and I accept
it.

The reason why what I won't do is say
I'm sorry is because it is an

of me apologizing for having a natural
reaction to a very deep -seated,

triggering word and concept. So I can't
apologize to you for that, Lewitt. I

want to acknowledge that my dear friend
over here, Ms. Leah, cussed y 'all all

out and called y 'all all hoes to your
faces, and nobody called her angry.

In fact, she was told, Leah, calm down,
