to America.

This is the first time since we launched
that we're going to have everybody

who's been part of it. In one room, I
know. It's wild.

Finally, last year, Abe and I, had the
capacity to start a new business called

Mezcaloom. And since we launched, we're
in over 800 accounts.

We even got, like, approached by MetLife
Stadium to be their only mezcal.

I can't even believe how well it's done.
We're having a little Cinco de Mayo

celebration, which I know is an American
holiday, but we just want to kind of

celebrate.

Why have you kept your engagement quiet
for so long?

My ex and I broke up in October of 2020.

But no one knew. We kept it quiet for a
long time because our business was so

entwined with our personal relationship.

When I left my husband, she was the
first relationship with a woman.

People were enamored with our entire
story. Okay, of you and your ex. Of my

and I. My ex is an artist.

And the artwork that you see, say, of me
at the Whitney is the final product.

That initially started, I was not just
the muse and the face in that image, but

I was also part of the creation of that
image. From the hair to the makeup to

the styling. What people see is just my
face, but, you know, there was a hell of

a lot more of me in that work.

We started a company. We each owned 50 %
of the business and every image that I

was in or that I collaborated on went
through that business. Once we broke up,

we kept it quiet because a lot of what
sold the photographs and sold the

paintings was the fact that we were in a
relationship.

We had this monograph, which is
essentially a coffee table book. So that

coming out. And I'm on the cover of it.
And Gucci sponsored the book signing in

Miami during Miami Basel. It's no one's
business, honestly, whether you're

together or not. And it shouldn't
matter.

But we're operating at the highest end
of the art world. The worry was there

would be financial consequences to the
end of our relationship.

Mel and I have been dating since the
fall of 2021.

The rumors were that we were in a fair.

Yeah. People were talking about Mel and
like saying, oh, she's trash.

She's this, she's that. It's like she's
got a PhD from Columbia.

She has her own business.

I ran into some people that I've known

and Mel happened to be with me. And I

between me or my act, whoever's going to
