to families and things up there.

Foodie has already traveled 288 kilometers from cans towards

towards his destination, Famigur, but has met his match

on the notorious Hell's Gate Pass.

Before starting his trucking job in New Zealand,

to reconnect with his roots.

This was a family business that started and built

it all here.

We used to fly down the helicopter,

come down with Dad and he had a helicopter

on top of the office plot.

We've since sold it on and the company still

runs at his Andrews transport to this day.

A lot of memories come back, a lot of

good memories, a lot of sad memories.

That was one of the trucks that killed him.

I was about 13 and 14.

I suppose it doesn't over.

I followed the truck line.

So just because he was killed with a truck

didn't make me stop.

And I suppose I got the truck patient from that.

Things are a bit quiet at home at the moment.

and Malik's has rang me and asked me if

I wanted to come over.

He's just got heaps of stuff on.

So this was quite a good opportunity to get

over here and see the kids.

I've got two kids, Brody's 32-3 and Jamie's

30-odd and they've both got kids now.

I thought I'd lived forever but I had a

big scare and I don't want the kids growing

up without me like I did without my father.

My body's good now.

I still walk with a walking stick sometimes but

my brain still got a long way to go.

We're in Boringar at the moment, dead standard in the gas tank.

We've got called out to do about 100 cars

from Buringar here out of the tip from people's houses.

Car recycler, Mike Elliott and his 17 year old

son Vinny are on another mission to salvage wrecked

cars from a remote community.

We've paid for all these cars and we've taken

all of our motors and diffs and gearboxes and

stuff everything that's good for us and then the

community gets paid twice on the cars because the

metal recyclers come through.

through. In previous years the mental recyclers wouldn't come to communities like this because

the cars are all spread out all over the community in different places. We go and pick them

all up, we bring them into one spot and then when we stack them up they're ready for recycling.

We just trim it all so it all fits within the trailer. Before this we were just bloody

renting trailers but in December we were going to board

out a double set and we got it at 80 grand then we probably put another 10 into both trailers

not cheap.

So almost about 100grand down in a hole.

We're trying to make that money back with BooneGar.

So we're doing so much blood either.

So we're straight back out to work.

Sludge is closing in on his first delivery drop off

in New Zealand.

River, foodie is varying all three of his trailers across the water

desperate to be the last road train into Bannagar before Christmas.
