(Episode 67)

Se Yun.

How does it feel to be Eun Gyung Hye?

It's too good to let go of, right?

My man is back.

I owe you for so much.

What will you do now?

First, take this.

You can't make a peep, can you?

Let go.

That made me come to my senses. Thanks.

The shooter...

can't fear the person who was shot.

Go tell Myung Hwan,

that if he makes me draw my gun again,

I won't shoot him in the head this time, but his heart.

The first time I met Gyung Hye,

she looked like she was the saddest girl on earth,

but she was more innocent and softer than you now.

I hurt her, bruised her,

and broke her heart,

and a monster crawled out.

I was disappointed because it was weaker and smaller than I expected,

but Se Yun, the demon that you hide...

will be much more lethal than the darkness within Gyung Hye.

Do you know me?

I can see you.

I grew up with nothing like you.

When you live with nothing, you become desperate.

When you become desperate, you become cruel.

Say what you came to say.

I heard Eun Gi Tae split this company...

between you and Gyung Hye.

The two of you are at war to claim the entire thing.

I wondered which side I should take,

and I chose you.

Because you're much stronger...

than the little princess.

You'll take my side?

I'll get rid of Gyung Hye. But...

give her portion to me.

Myung Hwan is meeting with Se Yun right now.

I can't wait to find out...

what she and Myung Hwan will do to you together.

Can you?

While Gyung Hye lived in luxury, you crawled on the ground.

And yet, she took what was yours and put you in danger.

Join me. Let's take her down.

That is the best revenge you can take against her.

Take my hand, Se Yun.

Myung Hwan.

A person who grew up being loved...

A person who has a family that she loves...

never becomes a demon.

It's impossible.

I'm different from Gyung Hye.

If you reach out your dirty hand toward me again,

I'll chop it off.

You'll regret what you just did.

Because Gyung Hye...

will take my hand that you rejected.

Myung Hwan.

Try me.

I'll fight you all to the death.

Just what did Gyung Hye do to you?

Your determination is like no other.

Stay away from Se Yun.

That's not something an assistant should say.

Are you saying that as a man?

Don't look at me like that.

I'm fine.

I won't let Myung Hwan take me down.

I shouldn't have had you breastfeed my daughter.

Who would've known you'd make my daughter your daughter?

Your daughter knew...

she wasn't the real Gyung Hye, didn't she?

Gyung Hye did nothing wrong.

Don't call her Gyung Hye!

Where's your daughter?

Take your mom...

and get out of this house.

This is Gyung Hye's house. Get out!

Don't do this to my daughter.

After what you did to my daughter, what?

"Don't do this to my daughter"?

We should never have taken you in.

You slept on the cold hospital floor every night,

begging them to save your baby dying of heart disease.

You sold your breast milk door to door,

and lived off of their cold rice.

You were judged for being a single mom,

and I was the only person who befriended and helped you.

How could you betray me and deceive me?

How could you do that? How?

Get out. Get out, both of you!

- Get out! Get out! - Stop it. Stop it. Please!

Mom.

Gyung Hye.

Your birth mom...

started it.

She's sick. Don't treat her like that!

Don't come here anymore.

It's too hard for my mom.

Gyung Hye.

Kick Se Yun out. Right now.

Mom.

Sorry...

for getting angry all the time.

I tell myself not to and to hold it in.

I don't want to waste my remaining days being angry like this,

but I just can't hold it in.

I'm sorry.

The doctor said...

it'll be hard for you to control your emotions.

It'll be hard,

but let's try not to let things get to you, okay?

Mom. Should we...

go somewhere this weekend?

Your dad.

I want to go to his grave.

Does he...

not even have a grave?

Mom.

Grandpa...

held memorials for Dad.

He did?

When Grandpa passed away,

he forgave Dad.

Your dad must've been happy.

He used to never drink,

but when we had you,

he got drunk and cried one night,

crying out, "Father. Father."

Grandpa went to the hospital to see you.

Don't you remember?

No.

I can't remember anything from when I was out of my mind.

I'll go now.

Tell me.

Why were you so disgustingly poor?

Why didn't you have a husband?

I...

was an orphan.

Your dad left me...

and took off with another woman.

Don't let people abuse you.

Be careful.

Myung Hwan is back.

Myung Hwan is back.

Oh no! My gosh.

I'll go with you the next time you go to their house.

It's dangerous for someone so out of it...

to walk around alone at night.

Gosh.

It tastes good.

I slept so well.

Aren't you going to work?

- No. - Why not?

I can't stand the sight of my boss either.

Did you fight with the owner of the cosmetics store?

She probably got kicked out while slacking off.

I did not. She badmouthed Mom,

so I walked out on my own.

What? Are you out of your mind?

- What? - How could you just walk out?

You should've broken everything in the store first!

Chul Soo. Stop it.

- Where's Sun Hee? - She went to the morning market.

Ms. Hong said she left the money and receipt...

for the utility bill in the drawer by the sink.

- Chul Soo. - Yes, Dad?

I'll look for a job too,

but you should stop loitering in Sun Hee's restaurant...

and look for a proper job.

Okay.

Dad. Why don't we rent out a room?

We don't have any spare rooms.

That's true too,

but we're in no position...

to take someone in right now.

You said to find a job.

This potential tenant isn't just a stranger.

He holds my job opportunity in his hand.

I get a job,

and you make money from rent.

What's what you call killing two birds with one stone.

We can have our cake and eat it too.

What? If I rent out a room, you can get a job?

That's right.

Dad. Think about it.

It'll be hard for you to get a job at your age.

You can take care of the house, which you're good at,

and you can watch Woong.

Imagine how much that would help Sun Hee.

Okay.

I'll think about it.

This isn't something you need to think about.

I'm against it.

Where's Mom?

She fed Woong earlier and took him to school.

Gyung Hye. Drink this before you leave for work.

It looks delicious.

Your dad would've been...

so happy to see you like this.

Time used to fly for us whenever we looked at you.

Have a nice day, my sweet daughter.

Send her to her mom.

That's only right.

Mom.

Don't stress over anything and rest.

I'll see you later.

They did minimally invasive surgery.

The doctor was very skilled.

They didn't need to shave your head,

and the surgical wound should close up in a week.

I get so angry every time I think about it.

Why is Gyung Hye so confident?

What is Se Yun thinking, refusing to join us?

They'll make your blood pressure spike.

Get rid of both of them from the company.

Not yet. They have the shares...

that Chairman Eun left them.

We must take that from them in order to claim Winners.

How will we take them away?

We'll take Se Yun's and give them to Gyung Hye,

and then, we go after Gyung Hye.

Only one of you can remain at the company.

Either discuss it nicely, or fight nail and tooth.

You guys decide which of you stays.

If you don't like that, give up your shares and leave.

I'll pay you well for them.

Myung Hwan is meeting with Se Yun right now.

I can't wait to find out...

what she and Myung Hwan will do to you together.

Can you?

You'll regret what you just did.

Because Gyung Hye...

will take my hand that you rejected.

Gyung Hye. Se Yun.

It looked like the war between them have escalated.

Now that I locked you together in a cage, fight to death.

Se Yun.

Turn Gyung Hye into a bloody mess...

so that she will come to me and beg me to save her.

I see some signs of illegality in the land purchase agreement...

for the Bella Project ultra-luxury goods shop.

Investigate the seller.

We're with the auditing team Please leave your desk.

We're investigating you for leaking confidential information.

I'm so busy. Why hasn't Ms. Hong come in yet?

Should I call and apologize first?

No. I'm the boss. I can't call first.

Hello. Is there anything in particular you're looking for?

My wife said she bought this here.

- I came to return it. - I see.

But she used half already.

You can't return this.

What? She used half, but not the other half,

so just refund half the price.

How can I give you a refund for something you already used?

That doesn't make sense.

- This woman is making me angry. - What are you doing?

Hey, mister! How dare you start trouble here?

- And who are you? - Ms. Hong.

Obstruction of business, and you're about to commit assault!

Do you want to leave nicely, or to go to the police station with me?

Darn it.

Seriously.

Are you okay? Are you hurt?

Thank you. You saved my life. Thank you.

I came to hand in my resignation,

but that means no one will protect my frail boss.

Forget it. I'll rip it up.

Good. I'm glad.

Let others fight all they want.

Let's just think about our friendship, okay?

Sure. And...

I'm sorry for saying harsh things yesterday.

Don't be. I was wrong too.

She's still your mom. I shouldn't have said that.

I'm sorry. Please forget what I said.

- Who are they? - From headquarters.

We're this year's top franchisee,

so they're cleaning for us.

Don't you remember? They came last year too.

Yes, I do remember. I remember.

Since you're cleaning anyway, please do a thorough job.

Sure. Don't worry.

You're impressive. Hong Sun Hee, you're awesome!

I know, right? I didn't expect to win this year.

This is huge. We should celebrate. Your treat.

Okay. I'll do it.

I'll treat you to watermelon.

What? Just watermelon?

Why? Watermelon is so good.

I love watermelon.

Fine, Chul Soo. Forget it if you don't want it.

Don't you dare eat my watermelon. I'll kill you.

I want to eat the watermelon that Kkot Nim likes.

I want to eat it.

Sorry about that.

- I don't usually do that. - I'm sorry too.

- Doctor. - Soo Ran.

I heard from the hospital...

that you were reunited with your daughter and went home.

You have no idea how shocked and happy I was for you.

Here.

Thank you.

It's thanks to you since you helped me get my memory back.

But...

the chairman's granddaughter that you knew...

wasn't my daughter.

What?

That's unbelievable.

The chairman's granddaughter...

and Ms. Geum's daughter were switched.

The more I hear what happened, I feel sorry for Se Yun.

She had no idea Gyung Hye had taken what was hers...

and took all that abuse and insult from Gyung Hye.

What insult?

The thing is, Se Yun worked...

as Gyung Hye's shopping assistant.

- Assistant? - In title only.

She was like her slave.

You met Gyung Hye, so you must know,

but she has a wicked temper.

She gets hysterical and violent.

Having to put up with all that...

That isn't all. Plus...

Never mind. There's no use talking about the past.

It'll only make it harder for you.

Not at all, doctor.

Please tell me everything. Don't leave anything out.

The truth is...

Gyung Hye had asked me...

to write a fake diagnosis...

that Se Yun was mentally insane.

She must have known that she wasn't...

the chairman's real granddaughter.

What?

Is that true?

She tried to make my daughter...

declared insane in order to claim her inheritance?

That's right. It's sad, but it's true.

Soo Ran? Calm down.

You may go into shock.

We're done.

What is that?

They're for receiving customer service calls.

He wants you to respond to the customers' questions.

This is an insult.

If you hadn't been so disgustingly greedy,

we wouldn't be in this situation, and you'd still be chairman.

- "Disgustingly greedy"? - That's right.

Your disgusting greed, which caused Grandpa to die.

If I returned your birth mom and grandpa to you,

would you have been able to return...

my birth mom, little sister,

stepdad, stepsister, stepbrother, everything?

No.

If I gave you the chairman's seat,

would you have been able to give me...

your dream of becoming a designer?

You're the one who was greedy.

You couldn't give up what was yours, but you tried to take all of mine.

I did my best every moment as I lived your life,

and did nothing to bring shame...

No. I accomplished many things and made others...

proud of me.

I loved my family, cherished them, and took care of them.

But you...

ruined everything while you lived my life.

You committed crimes.

You ignored Mom in the mental hospital.

Grandpa was sick, but you broke his heart...

and eventually caused his death.

You ruined everything!

And you ask why I won't return your life?

You have...

no shame.

Sure.

Let's fight...

tooth and nail...

for this one position. Let's see who wins.

Gyung Hye!

You want to protect this company, right?

You don't want to lose it to Myung Hwan, right?

I want to protect it.

You're the only person who can protect...

your daughter.

So, Soo Ran,

you must become stronger. If you don't,

Gyung Hye and Ms. Geum...

will take everything from your daughter.

You want to protect your daughter, don't you?

Yes.

I want to protect her and make sure she doesn't lose...

a single spoon.

I'll help you.

Will you do as I say?

(Mysterious Personal Shopper)

It's been a while.

Myung Hwan is back?

What's going on at the company?

Soo Ran should be digging her daughter's grave.

I'm going to get healthy mentally.

I need to become smart then.

There's something else that Grandpa left us.

Let's go see Hyo Jung.

Give it to Hyo Jung,

or Jae Joon dies.
