There are abrasions and bruises
to the face, neck,

and side of the head.

Looking at PC Francis now

and photographic evidence
from when he first came in,

I can see obvious
signs of facial trauma,

effemetus abrasions
and bruises to the face...

His nose appears to be fractured.

There is some bruising

and cuts to the hands and arms...

...suggesting that he was trying
to defend himself.

Further bruising to the chest,
to the lower abdomen.

And what looks like significant
blunt trauma

to the left costal margin

and lower ribs, laterally.

Evidence of fracture
on palpation.

All of that's pretty
much as expected.

the valve looks gelatinous.
