it's job cards, time sheets.

actually really don't know

where you are with your jobs.

If we're doing the timesheets
properly as we go along,

we're learning, not only
how we are on that job,

but looking ahead for the next one,

put a description down

of the stuff that normally seizes up

or plays up if a car's been stood
for a long time.

And, basically,
turned the ignition on and, sadly,

the car has a massive fuel leak
off one of the carbs,

which is not ideal.

So to safest thing to do
is order, er, a repair kit for this,

we'll take the carbs off,
we'll clean it all up

but then it comes with new gaskets,
new needles

and basically anything
that perishes with petrol

and then we'll put them back on,
tune them back up,

get this car running lovely.

So before I worked here,
I've only ever worked for Dad

and he has actually taught me
everything I know.

So, with him going,
it's pretty unsettling for me

because I've got H watching me
from his big ivory tower over there

and that's why I need this car,
the MG, to go right.

It could be an imbalance
in the carbs.

So Dad taught me an old school way
of a bit of pipe, believe it or not,

and what you do is
you put it to your ear

and then you put this end, actually,
in the carb inlet

and you actually can
hear the suction

of each carb and they should sound
exactly the same.

If you've got one sucking
more than the other

you can hear it and it's really,
really mad but it works,

it's old school but works.

Basically these two cylinders
are getting more fuel and air

than what this cylinder is,

which then is giving you
an imbalance on the fuelling

and that's what'll cause
the misfire.

Now I know what the issue is,

hopefully a little bit
more tinkering

and I should have this
running lovely.
