I calibrate the EMF meter,

which measures changes
in the electromagnetic field.

baseline reading.

When we were at the White Box,
during our first night in

Hessdalen, we got an EMF spike
in the control room.

EMF is spiking.
We're at 104 right now.

Which seemed to coincide with
the Hessdalen light showing up.

Hopefully,
it'll give us a heads-up

if any activity returns.

potentially part of that big
chemical reaction that makes
this thing a battery.

We got iron on one side,
we got copper on the other,

and then it's sulfur

that leaches through
the water in here.

Those elements could be
creating the lights in the sky.

It could explain everything.

A lot of people say that these
beings are in Hessdalen Valley

for rare elements.

who raises huskies on the side

for a local dog sled team.

So, Mathias, we heard a bit of
your story at the town hall.

I would love to get more
details because we've been here

say, it seems like there's

something strange going

So tell me, what were
you doing in Hessdalen Valley?

Both of these lights
originated from

essentially the same place?

Where is that?

a local's point of view,

I'm gonna explore other
methods for finding

the Hessdalen lights.

So I hop on a call
with Carl Andreasen,

who has a very interesting
communication theory.

Carl is an American UFO
researcher who recently

recorded a light in the sky

above Hessdalen that kept
getting closer.

And shockingly, he believes
he was able to talk with it.

Carl, thank you so much for

I got to say,
your video was incredible.

It was totally shocking.

The first night that
I was there at Hessdalen,

we decided to stay up to look
at the northern lights.

And we did an experiment with
this meditation.

And sure enough, right after
we did that, this bright light

appeared in the sky and then
came down by the lake.

Meditation?

Explain how that works.

Every single abduction story
that I have ever read about

has involved
telepathic communication.

And so that is a critical part
of my work and research

and what I do when I go to
these places to try and see if

there's something to that.

If you can use it like chumming
for sharks or bird calling in

a similar way, but do it
through a form of telepathy,

I'm very experimental
and open-minded with that,

and it's successful.

Dog sledding is known to be

snowmobiles over long distances

in deep snow conditions
like this.

So Mathias kindly hooked us up
with a pack of

his fastest huskies.

Reaching speeds
of 25 miles an hour...

get used to this.
- [Phil] Oh, yeah.

...we should be at the site

where Mathias had his encounter
in no time.

not a lot of shocks
on a sleigh.

the lights he saw originated.

These types of dogs
are well adapted

to the coldest
of temperatures.

They have a robust, thick,
and weather-resistant coat.

After a good workout like
they just had, they'll happily

stay put for hours

while we investigate
Mathias's sighting.

According to Mathias,
the lights he saw essentially

originated from
right where we are right now.

Oh, we're building a snow

by the frozen lake,

we're going to use all
this snow to our advantage

and build a shelter.

about a foot long.

So, this type of snow fort is
called a quinzhee.

And you see how all these
sticks are about the same

length, about one foot?

That is how thick we want
the exterior wall.

So, you stab it, facing towards
the inside, like so.

And when we hollow it out,
once you see the end of

the stick, you know you stop,
and you have

your one-foot exterior wall
that will keep us nice and warm.

across the sky!

So there are a few details
to pay attention to

when building this
kind of a snow fort.

One thing, you want it to be
domed like this so that as

the snow melts, because it
warms up in here, it doesn't

drip on you, but it trickles
down the sides a little bit.

Secondly, you want the entry
and exit point to be at

the lowest point so that all
the cold air goes down there

and the warm air stays up here.

When we deployed
the DAP camera

at the White Box Observatory,

it worked out well for us.

So it'll monitor the skies for
us again tonight.

So this here is the DAP cam,

which stands for data
acquisition project.

It uses AI to track
and identify anything flying

around in the night sky.

And tonight, hopefully that
includes the Hessdalen lights.

You know how people say that
the Hessdalen phenomenon

can mimic the lights
that are on the ground?

It was flashing,
but it doubled

the flashing frequency.

You think it mimicked

Some kind of interaction.

What if this form of mimicry is
some type of communication?

- To see lights,
I brought lights.

You ever seen "Close Encounters
of the Third Kind"?

So my witness, Carl, believed
he communicated with these

lights, but he did it when
he was in a meditative state.

appeared.

The light pulsed ominously as
it grew larger,

an interdimensional portal

a massive metal object

down at the bottom of
