In his four years here,

he has been president of the student body,

assistant editor of the newspaper

and general manager of the television station.

His time here has been one of commitment,

involvement and character.

So I think it is more than fitting

that Brandon Walsh receive this symbolic diploma

on behalf of the Class of 1997.

[Brandon] Thank you, Chancellor Arnold.

I can honestly say on behalf of our class

that we will never forget the years

we've spent here at California University.

And I think there's only one thing left to say

on this momentous occasion and that is...

"Have we graduated yet?"
