after the government declared
the Muslim Brotherhood

to be a terrorist group.

The Interior Ministry warned

that anyone who joins protests
supporting the Brotherhood

would be imprisoned for five years

on charges of promoting terrorist ideology.

Here in Cairo's Nasr City

and in towns and cities across the country,

thousands turned out after Friday prayers.
