I've got two sides to me.

I've got Hot Dogg and I've got Leo.

Leo has been quite vulnerable in his past.

The Hot Dogg's a bit of a facade, whereas Leo is the real me.

In my past relationships, I have been all in,

wear my heart on my sleeve, to my detriment sometimes as well.

I've been single for five years

and I think I've been extremely unlucky in love.

I do get blindsided and I do fall in love quite easily.

My last relationship, I was cheated on by my partner.

I was gutted.

I wondered what I personally

had done wrong to have made her want to do this.

Looking back on it,

it was not the best relationship but I learnt a lot about myself.

It's helped me grow as a person.

How does the fact your previous partner

cheated on you impact your ability to trust a new partner?

Well, I think that's why I decided to be by myself for so long after.

It's taken me a long time to heal from

that experience and really love myself again,

because I went through that journey of heartache

and almost losing who I was as a person.

That journey to healing, there is no definitive end time.

Do you feel as if you've healed from that?

I truly feel like now is the time

that I can move on and be happy with someone else.

My ideal Mrs Hot Dogg would be someone that likes to go travelling

quite spontaneous,

wants to grab life by the balls.

A lot of girls these days are almost clone copies

of each other. In a world full of Kardashians,

I'm here to meet someone that's quite unique

and out there that will match my personality.

As well as being pretty bohemian, spontaneous and adventurous,

April and Leo have a shared passion for travel.
