My mom and kids are back in Atlanta again

after that whole allergy scare with my daughter.

The fact that my kids are in Atlanta,

I definitely want them to have fun and enjoy the city,

have to share what's going on with my health.

I have multiple surgeries that I need to perform.

Like, you have to get the stent removal,

you know, you have to get the gallbladder removal,

and I have another hernia.

I definitely don't wanna hide this

from them so I can prepare them for what's to come.

I know you guys wanted to stay longer,

but you have to go back because of school.

So I really wanted to talk to you guys

and tell you something that I haven't been open about

what I'm going through.

They may have to open me back up again

and do multiple surgeries, and I

wasn't telling you guys because I never wanted

to get worried about it.

been crying a lot about this.

hearing all these rumors that I'd died

and that I was in a coma, I was having a heart attack,

so he's having that emotion of feeling

like maybe he can lose me.

They found another hernia, so now I have two hernias.

So they will have to repair the hernia.

You tell me I must hide nothing from you.

So that's why I'm telling you guys.

But I promise, when I do the surgery, you're going to know.

to have a relationship with her siblings.

But she doesn't have any desire to go there

One time, when we was exchanging Emani,

because I'm like, okay, you gonna be with her.

At the family reunion a few years back,

I actually approached Bambi because, you know,

I just wanted a kumbaya moment.

I really want us to be at a place of peace.

And then soon after that, you didn't wanna be around me,

and you did not want Scrappy around me either.

And then I'm hearing stories as far as Emani

everybody else in the house except for Emani,

and your excuse is, she didn't come out the room?

It turned into a big-ass mess.

- It's just so weird to hear that because,

honestly speaking, I always get such, like,

motherly love vibes from her.

So they have to go in and operate.

I'm so sick and tired of being in pain.

I'm still on pain management because if I don't have

the narcotics, I can't even function or stand up.

I just kind of grin and bear, grin and bear, grin and bear.

- It really breaks my heart because as Black women,

we go through so much, mentally,

physically, emotionally, and then

we just have to hide it and keep it to ourselves

because we don't even support each other enough

to give each other grace for the things

that we're going through.

But you know what, I'm happy that you're

getting this taken care of so you can be healthy down there.

It's like, you found this amazing doctor.

And then you're gonna have a baby.

- So anyways, I don't know if you're gonna be feeling up

to it, but Rasheeda's gonna have like, her grand reopening

at the Frost Bistro. - Okay.

Like, recently, him and Erica and Emani,

- So my friend Spice has been having some difficult days,

and Spice is so nervous about this doctor's appointment.

So I'm definitely going to be by Spice's side through this,

just helping her to know that

she got a friend, I got her back.

- And I'm hoping for good news.

- I'm tired of hearing bad news.

My mom and my kids came because of what

happened to my daughter.

- Yeah.

All the swelling went down? - It went down.

The medications worked.

She's better now. - Good.

- When I had that scare from the other doctors

that I may have another hernia,

I wanted just to check up with one of my surgeons,

just to make sure and get a second opinion

and to find out and get his take on what's

really happening, because at this point,

I'm really getting nervous.

So having Yandy by my side as a friend,

it's good to have someone that you

can talk to to share this moment,

because I've been living with a lot.

- So tell me, what's going on? What's new?

- As you know, I went back into the hospital again.

- Right. Did they remove the stents yet?

- No, so the stent is still inside of me.

I was told that I have another hernia.

- Okay.

- And I was also having the gallbladder issues,

and they wanted to do another surgery

to remove the gallbladder.

- Because of the extensiveness of the amount of surgery

that you had, you had a lot of scarring.

In cases like that, you have to open up that previous scar,

and they would have to go through all of the scar tissue

to actually get to your gallbladder.

It's a little bit complicated.

We'll just take you back a little bit.

You can see she has some pretty severe scarring.

- Oh my gosh, sis.

- I know.

You've never seen it, right?

- She has a nice sized hernia right here.

The next step for you, I typically

would recommend that you wait at least, like,

about six months to a year. - Really?

- We can repair the hernia and have your gallbladder done

all at the same time.

The longer you wait, the better off you are

because it will allow the scarring

to kind of minimize.

- I was thinking I had to do all these different multiple

surgeries and go through anesthesia again and again

and again, but hearing Dr. Jones say that just

one more time, and that I can wait a year for my body

to fully heal and recover, that's some positive news

that I really wanted to hear.

I'm like... [sighs] Thank you, God.

One of the main concerns that everybody's

been having is, because I have another hernia,

that I can't go on stage to perform.

- I wouldn't say that.

You can always wear, like, a waist trainer,

just to give you some more support.

And just try to avoid overextending yourself.
