from them so I can prepare
them for what's to come.

wanted to stay longer,

but you have to go
back because of school.

So I really wanted

and tell you something that I
haven't been open about

what I'm going through.

They may have to
open me back up again

and do multiple
surgeries, and I

wasn't telling you guys
because I never wanted

to get worried about it.

even function or stand up.

having some difficult days,

and Spice is so nervous about
this doctor's appointment.

So I'm definitely going to be

just helping her to know that

she got a friend,
I got her back.

bad news.

My mom and my kids
came because of what

happened to my daughter.

All the swelling went down?

The medications worked.

She's better now.

- When I had that scare
from the other doctors

that I may have
another hernia,

I wanted just to check up
with one of my surgeons,

just to make sure
and get a second opinion

and to find out
and get his take on what's

really happening,
because at this point,

I'm really getting nervous.

So having Yandy by
my side as a friend,

it's good to have
someone that you

can talk to
to share this moment,

because I've been
living with a lot.

- So tell me, what's going on?
What's new?

- As you know, I went back
into the hospital again.

- Right.
Did they remove the stents yet?

- No, so the stent is
still inside of me.

I was told that I
have another hernia.

- Okay.

- And I was also having
the gallbladder issues,

and they wanted to
do another surgery

to remove the gallbladder.

- Because of the extensiveness
of the amount of surgery

that you had, you had
a lot of scarring.

In cases like that, you have
to open up that previous scar,

and they would have to go
through all of the scar tissue

to actually get to
your gallbladder.

It's a little bit complicated.

We'll just take you
back a little bit.

You can see she has some
pretty severe scarring.

- Oh my gosh, sis.

- I know.

You've never seen it, right?

- She has a nice sized
hernia right here.

The next step for
you, I typically

would recommend that you wait
at least, like,

about six months to a year.
- Really?

- We can repair the hernia
and have your gallbladder done

all at the same time.

The longer you wait,
the better off you are

because it
will allow the scarring

to kind of minimize.

- I was thinking I had to do
all these different multiple

surgeries and go through
anesthesia again and again

and again, but hearing
Dr. Jones say that just

one more time, and that I can
wait a year for my body

to fully heal and recover,
that's some positive news

that I really wanted to hear.

I'm like... [sighs]
