Original subtitles

You can't put together a suspension.

Are you finished, ma 'am? I'm shocked. I'm shocked and very disappointed.

Thank you for your help. You may take some now. You may not tell me when to

my child. You may shut the fuck up.

Oh, my God.

Mom.

last few years, the number of Americans on the road have skyrocketed.

And that means more traffic, more accidents, and

also more rage.

With violent road rage up nearly 500%.

For most drivers, a fender bender is certainly annoying, but easily taken

of with a simple exchange of information.

But if a driver lets their anger get the better of them,

This minor event can turn into a major situation.

Fortunately for this incident, the offending driver is contrite.

But that's not always the case.

A home security camera records as the driver of this white pickup and the

of this gray pickup confront each other after an alleged fender bender.

Though it's unclear who instigated the incident on the road, it reportedly

after one driver cut off the other and slammed on their brakes.

When the other driver then tried to pass, a minor collision occurred,

this.

And though the driver of the white truck appears to have thrown the first punch,

the man in overalls quickly gets the upper hand.

And once he has it,

Things get really ugly.

Even as other drivers slow down to witness the brutality, the man in

doesn't ease up for a moment.

And in fact, amps it up even more.

continuing to beat him for nearly two and a half minutes until

a final kick to the head appears to knock him unconscious.

A neighbor who witnessed the fight calls 911 and flags down a nearby fire truck

as a passing Good Samaritan seems to chastise the man in overalls.

And when the man in overalls Moved a bit further away, the Good Samaritan goes

to the beaten man's aid.

Just as authorities arrive on the scene, both drivers

are taken to a nearby hospital.

It's unknown if the man who reportedly threw the first punch faces any charges,

but according to news reports, the 58 -year -old man in overalls is arrested.

and charged with felony assault for his two -and -a -half -minute rampage.

Prove positive that any act of violence can lead to another and then quickly

take on a life of its own.

A speeding car poses a great risk to everyone on the road.

And it's even worse if it's within a populated area, as the risk extends to

everyone in the vicinity.

Whether in another vehicle or simply out for an evening walk.

In Baltimore.

Police are in pursuit of a reported stolen vehicle.

Moments later, a traffic camera captures the fleeing suspect speeding down a

neighborhood road.

The suspect runs a red light, slamming into another car.

A pedestrian.

And a building causing its facade to collapse.

Completely smothering both cars and the bystander.

And a civilian vehicle, the building collapsed. A civilian vehicle, sorry,

medic.

An officer races in.

And as he approaches the suspect's car.

but the people inside are no threat and in need of assistance.

Multiple officers then begin the arduous task of clearing the debris, while a

victim inside the struck car manages to pull himself out of the rubble.

And brick by brick, the responding officers provide the others who are

way out.

According to news reports, All five occupants of the vehicles are freed from

wreck. Their injuries are treated at a nearby hospital.

Tragically, the struck pedestrian does not survive.

According to court documents, the driver of the allegedly stolen vehicle is

charged with vehicular manslaughter, criminally negligent vehicular

manslaughter, theft, and driving without a license.

At the time of airing, the case is ongoing.

A motorcyclist cruises a quiet city street in Newcastle, England,

until...

A white car pulls out into the biker's lane and comes within inches of clipping

the motorcycle.

Although a collision is nearly avoided, the biker is unwilling to let it slide.

The white car pulls into a residential driveway as the biker heads over.

But first...

You'll have to deal with the man in the front yard, who may be the driver's

husband.

As the two men

go back and forth, the driver heads straight for the biker.

A peaceful ending to what could have been an angry confrontation.

And all it took.

was a simple apology.

In Forest Lake, Minnesota,

during the morning commute on Interstate 35, a traffic camera records a pickup

truck which, according to reports, had recently hit a deer and is now stalled

out in the middle lane.

The driver, who is now standing behind the guardrail, presumably waiting for

authorities to arrive,

reportedly made a run for it when the vehicle stalled, leaving the driver's

door wide open.

So far, motorists have been able to bypass the roadblock, but the longer it

stays this way, the more likely it is someone will hit it.

Moments later, a passing motorist attempts to help, putting both his

car

and himself at risk.

Then, apparently spotting the truck's driver, he unwisely crosses four lanes

traffic to get to them.

And while the motorist seems to have made the salt pickup truck a little less

dangerous by closing its door, it isn't quite enough.

A semi -truck, seemingly unable to react in time, slams into the stalled

vehicle, sending it careening off the side of the road, nearly avoiding

oncoming truck, and bursting into flames, just feet away from some

A short time later, emergency services arrive on the scene.

Thankfully, the driver of the semi that slammed into the pickup escapes

unharmed.

And according to news reports, though the pickup truck is destroyed, no one is

injured.

Proof once again that any stalled vehicle on a fast -moving roadway is a

disaster waiting to happen.

on a highway in Illinois.

Oh, my God.

An erratic driver in the pickup truck just ahead of the silver sedan.

Oh, no, no, no. Oh, he missed him.

He's about to crash.

Is causing concern for other motorists.

Someone called 911.

Can I call them?

I'm sure someone called 911 by now.

Oh, yeah, he's hitting them barricades.

I mean, what's up with him? I mean, I'm just wondering if he ain't diabetic or

something, has like a medical issue.

Whatever the cause of the dangerous driving, it's putting everyone at risk.

And the longer it goes on, the worse it seems to get.

Oh, man, back up, back up.

The collision into the roadside fence fails to slow the driver down.

And with still no sign of the police, two other motorists jump into

action.

Get off the road.

There, they're going to box him in.

He's going to hit a car. He's going to hit him if he don't watch it.

With the silver car now in front, the SUV coming up on the left, and the

vehicle recording riding behind, the truck is cornered.

Keep going. Keep going. Push him off onto the shoulder, at least into the

He's going to try to pass it. But the driver of the silver sedan makes sure

doesn't happen.

He's going to hit him.

Take the keys out of the ignition. Stop, dude.

Just stop.

The driver appears dazed.

Just relax.

You're fine.

Good job, guys.

But at least for now, he and everyone else is out of harm's way.

Although the cause of the erratic driving has not been confirmed, one

certain. Go ahead and step out of the vehicle, bud, so we can get this door

shut.

If it weren't for the concerted effort of these quick -thinking motorists, a

dangerous situation

Oh, man, back up, back up. Could have potentially turned deadly. Take the keys

out of the ignition. Stop, dude.

Just stop.

Good job, guys.

In New Jersey and every other state, it is illegal to operate an unregistered

vehicle. And if caught doing so, officers have the authority to impound

vehicle until a registration is obtained.

And like most driving laws, that applies to everyone, no matter who you are.

It's Easter weekend.

And after running the plates during a routine traffic stop, officers discover

that this out -of -state vehicle has allegedly been unregistered for nearly

years. It must be impounded immediately.

Left with no ride home.

One of the passengers has called her mother to pick them up.

And she arrives within minutes.

The occupants of the car seem to have accepted their unfortunate situation.

But

the one

passenger's mother is much less inclined to do so.

I'm a resident.

There you go.

I don't need that.

Okay. Fine.

You're just here as a rider, right? No, I'm not. Okay. I'm here as a concerned

citizen and friend of the mayor and been intent to apply for 20 years. I take

full responsibility for them. And what is the reason they were pulled over? The

driver has all the information. He'll tell you. No, no, no, no, no. I need to

know. No, you don't need to know. Okay.

We're not involved here. You're picking them up. No, no, no. I'm involved.

Because the driver of the impounded car is an adult, the officers are not

required to share the information.

But as she pulls something out of her wallet, it appears mom feels the

officers will see things differently once they know exactly who

they're dealing with.

She is, in fact, Karen Turner, commissioner of the New York -New Jersey

Authority.

But that big news seems to have little effect.

Her continued offensive...

Only serves to make things more tense.

Until finally, all civility

is lost.

And you are a disappointment.

And you are just following him. So you are also a disappointment.

You can't put together a statement of what the problem is. Are you finished,

'am? I'm shocked. I'm shocked and very disappointed.

Thank you for your help. You may take them now. You may not tell me when to

my child.

You may shut up and not tell me when I may take my kid.

All attempts to have her questions answered having failed.

The woman finally seems to give up. But it doesn't

end there.

Shortly after the video of the interaction is widely seen.

Karen Turner voluntarily resigns from her position at the Port Authority and

apologizes for the incident, while the chief of the Tenafly, New Jersey, police

publicly praises both officers for their composure.

Now, don't call me Miss. I'm Commissioner.

Thank you.
