Do you have to start again?

And then in front of the child?

He doesn't understand anything yet.

I will not stay with you.

Even this trip to Venice will not change my decision, Vasilij.

Life in Odessa...

is unsociable and arduous.

You feel comfortable everywhere.

It's torture for me.

I want to go back to Moscow.

It's not about Odessa or Moscow.

It's about your new lover.

Do you think you'll be happy with him?

You are a terrible egoist

and an even worse mother.

Damn you be.

Why are you leaving? You have to stay with me.

Don't go, Mamochka. Please don't go.

Wasja,

all good.

Wassily,

Are you going to do this to me again?

How? I don't know what you mean.

What do I mean?

I went to a country,

whose language I hardly speak,

whose people I find difficult to understand.

Just because you wanted it that way.

Yes, I know.

But that I gave up my home and everything else,

obviously doesn't stop you,

to have fun with German students.

Anja,

I don't see Gabriele as anything more than a talented artist.

I am very grateful to you.

I know what I owe you.

Vasily, I salute you.

How did you learn Danish so quickly?

Oh, I learn languages very quickly.

What do you say, Ninotchka?

If that's what you want, I'll go with you to the end of the world, my love.

All right then.
