say that it didn't scare me, but when

someone jumps at you from a dark area,
who knows what's going to happen.

In the last few years, the number of
Americans on the road has skyrocketed.

And that means more traffic, more
accidents, and

also more rage.

With violent road rage of nearly 500%.

Though it goes without saying that
drivers should never let their emotions

the better of them.

Passengers would be wise to do the same.

According to the person filming, this
fight allegedly began when the passenger

of this car jumped out at the light and
gestured to the women in the car behind,

who allegedly took it as an invitation
to get out and fight.

And shortly after, the driver of the car
in front attempts to rescue her

passenger.

It's an all -out melee.

Another motorist finally tries to break
it up. And the man recording claimed he

eventually does the same.

But the takeaway is clear.

When passengers are involved, road rage
quickly.

becomes a very ugly team sport.

In Chula Vista, California, two couples
from separate cars are in a heated

argument. According to the woman
filming, the drivers were allegedly

over a single lane of traffic until one
allegedly cut off the other and everyone

got out.

And it doesn't take long for it to get
physical.

As the men and women pair off in battle,

bystanders quickly rush in to break it
up.

One of whom is an off -duty police
officer

who helps bring the altercation to a
swift end.

One woman sustains an injury.

while the rest seem relatively unharmed.

According to officials, they all
declined to press charges.

Hopefully in the future, the passengers
will dedicate their efforts toward

calming the waters rather than fueling
the fire.

When a fellow motorist is in need,
some...

bring into action.

Like these two bikers who spot a woman
whose car is teetering on the edge of a

ditch.

First,

they hold the car steady so she can
safely climb out.

And then, with brute strength, Get her
car back on firm ground. Oh, wow.

That was gnarly.

You're all right. You made it. But
though this situation has a happy

Good Samaritans be warned.

There are those times.

When a motorist's troubles are a bit
more. High five.

It's America.

Complicated.

In Southern California, Travis Brock's
helmet can record.

as he and some friends go on a late
-night motorcycle ride.

We're heading down a dirt road in the
middle of nowhere, probably about 8 .30

night.

Just nothing around us.

And I come across a car in a ditch.

You all good, man?

I see a guy in a white T -shirt on the
ground right behind the car, so I stop.

You all good?

What? What?

Are you okay?

What are you talking about?

I'm just asking if you're okay.

Your car's in a ditch. I just want to
make sure you're not hurt.

We're in the middle of nowhere. There's
no cell phone reception. I want to make

sure the guy's okay.

I want to make sure he's not bleeding
out or who knows what happened.

All right, man. We'll leave you here.

But Travis's willingness to help is
about to get him into some trouble.

It's super dark. I can't see what's
going on.

And then all of a sudden... He

jumps

on me, and I step back, and I trip and
fall.

And I'm not really sure what I'm falling
into because it's so dark out there.

I want to say that it didn't scare me,
but when someone jumps at you that you

don't know from a dark area, who knows
what's going to happen.

I'm not trying to fight you, bro.

I'm not trying to fight you.

You're coming at me kind of hard.

Taking advantage of the man's sudden
pratfall.

Let's get out of here, guys.

Travis and his friends make a break for
it. Come on now, let's go.

But Travis doesn't want any other
passing motorists to stumble into the

frightening situation.

I called the authorities just in case
something had happened. If somebody else

had stumbled across this guy that had
been attacked or who knows what could

happened with the mindset that he was
in. But as far as I know, nothing ever

came of it.

Here's hoping the oddly behaving man got
whatever help he needed that night.

But after this harrowing encounter,
Travis has some advice for other good

Samaritans who may be looking to lend a
hand.

You're coming at me kind of hard.

You should always pull over to help
someone who's got a flat tire or stuck

ditch. But at the same time, you've got
to be safe. You need to think of who

this person is and what their mindset
might be.

Let's get out of here, guys.

In Casper, Wyoming, a motorist records
the tail end of an apparent altercation

between two pedestrians.

And though the reason for that dust -up
is unclear, when the driver of a passing

pickup truck appears to try to
intervene, one of the pedestrians turns

aggression toward him.

And it quickly escalates from verbal
threats to physical abuse.

Self -inflicted.

In the heat of the moment, the pickup
driver slams his finger in his door.

And though it helps slow the fight down,
it only takes a few moments to pick

right back up again.

Until finally...

Another driver steps in.

The

man's

wise words manage to bring the brawl to
a halt.

And though it takes a few more words to
fully convince

them.

The men eventually go their separate
ways.

So perhaps the lesson here is this.

When playing the peacemaker, don't pick
sides.

And stay focused on the facts.

The lights and sirens of a traffic stop
may be attention -grabbing.

No way.

But no matter the reason, when

police are conducting their business,
motorists are required by law

to slow down and give the officers at
work plenty of room.

And for good reason.

on the shoulder of a major highway in
Ocala, Florida.

Police are conducting a routine traffic
stop.

The officer

runs the driver's license.

And after asking the driver a few
questions...

The officer decides to conduct a search
and has the occupants leave the car.

The men follow the officer's advice

and then wait for the search to be over.

And moments after it is.

This routine traffic stop takes a
sudden, terrifying turn.

A white car hits the police

vehicle first, throwing the two
officers.

And then totals the other car, which
just moments ago had an officer in

Incredibly, the officers and men on the
side of the road escape unscathed.

What'd I tell you, boy?

But those inside the white car are not
as lucky.

Roll medics, man. Roll medics.

One passenger has a head wound.

Come away from the vehicle.

He's on the ground. Okay, I understand.

And the driver appears to be bleeding as
well. Hey, you all right, buddy?

Hey.

Medics arrive minutes later.

Keep your head still, okay?

Keep your head still, buddy.

He's got a good cold. He's got a good
cold.

The driver is unconscious.

And immediately rushed to a hospital.

As for the three men he nearly hit, they
are free to go. I'm really sorry that

this is how everything turned out.

And though they may have lost their
ride.

I'm glad we had you out of the vehicle.

Thanks to the wise words of the officers
at the scene.

At least they'll be going home.

Taking an unattended motorcycle might
seem like an easy thing to do.

After all, in some cases, one can just
roll it away.

But if the bike is locked and there are
witnesses in the area, what seems like a

simple task can go sideways very
quickly.

In London.

Two men on a moped spot a motorcycle
parked between two trucks.

Twenty minutes later, the pair returns
with what appears to be bolt

cutters.

But cutting through the bike's lock
system is proving to be a challenge.

Moments later, a passing motorist
stumbles upon the scene.

But the curious driver

Quickly dashes back into his car when
one of the bikers pulls out what appears

to be a hammer.

And after a hit to his side view mirror,
the motorist wisely drives away.

And having been caught in the act, the
alleged bike thief decided to take off

too.

But not soon enough.

The driver from earlier puts it in
reverse, scaring off one of the men and

knocking his accomplice off his moped.

The two men then flee the scene on foot,
leaving their ride behind.

It's unclear if they ever get it back,
but they do receive a valuable life

lesson, free of charge.

Be grateful for the ride you have,
because the one you want to take.

will cost you way too much.

In Austin, Texas, a motorist with a dash
cam is waved on by a dump truck driver

who may be having some trouble.

The car's driver continues down a long,
curving hill to a stoplight.

The intersection is busy, making it a
bit more challenging for cars in the far

right lane to make the turn on red.

Which is very bad news for the driver in
this gray sedan.

The dump truck from earlier plows into a
gray sedan, pushes it through the

intersection, hits several other
vehicles, and then punches through a

concrete barrier before finally
plummeting more than 15 feet and landing

side in a ravine.

Thankfully, good Samaritans are able to
pull the driver out.

Before his truck catches fire.

Emergency personnel arrive on the scene.

The driver of the gray sedan is
reportedly treated for a concussion.

The 19 -year -old driver of a red car
that was T -boned reportedly incurs a

spinal injury.

None of the motorists, including the
trucker, sustained life -threatening

injuries.

Investigators later determine brake
failure.

As the cause of the multi -car
collision.

As bad as this situation was.

Considering the extent of the damage.

And the number of vehicles involved.

Everyone is lucky.

It wasn't much, much worse.

Would that be the best way to do it?

In Tennessee, after leaving a customer's
residence, a home security tech returns

to his van. Oh, it's just a cup. To find
two black bear cuffs.

Yeah, I think they're just cuffs. Yeah.

That have somehow managed to trap
themselves in the van and lock the doors

with the keys inside.

It's a little worse because mama's here
somewhere.

With a mama bear likely nearby, the
humans have to

act fast.

I just don't want her to just come
running out. Here's some horns.

They're usually not very happy.

Unfortunately, the tech can't open his
van until his office provides a key

There you are, little.

I'm going to get you out in just a
minute, buddy.

Which they finally do a short while
later.

Here we go.

But even with the back door wide open.

Get out.

It still takes a little bit of
encouragement to get them out.

The cubs make it back into the woods.

A happy ending to a wildlife encounter,
which, while adorable,

was a little too close for comfort.
