The Brantford College of Fine Art brought an infinite list of hopeful
every year.
I wasn't different from anybody else.
I wasn't special or even gifted.
All my teenage years, I heard from my parents about a great artist named Ansel
Williams, and what a great honor it would be to even make the list of
students. But this year, I did more than that.
This year, I got accepted.
Oh, no.
That guy's looking at me.
Oh, God.
He's walking over.
Hello there. Are you new here?
I'm James Reeves.
Are you staying here all semester?
I really don't belong here. I mean, at the school.
I'm not much of an artist.
Well, you look like an artist to me.
Intensely refined.
Complex.
A little out there.
Just kidding about that last part.
No, you're right. Especially about the last part.
I mean, I'm the most out there person I know.
Well, anyways.
It's been really nice meeting you, Miss... Johnson.
Lila Johnson.
Nice to meet you, Ms. Johnson.
Lila, you have a very soft touch.
Your work must be superb.
Let me introduce you to the dean.
Okay. Follow me.
I expect nothing less than sheer perfection.
I will not tolerate the lack of commitment or focus towards your supreme
achievement of the art.
Miss Johnson, sir.
You don't have to do this to me.
Is it that time already?
Welcome to the Brantford Institute of Art.
We have high hopes for you here.
Thanks.
Thank you.
awesome
huh hmm
room.
The campus grounds were like a painting themselves, lush strokes of green,
delicately blended with the crimson shade of sunset.
You saw them, didn't you?
The way the light plays.
How the beams gently cascade down.
Dancing around for all those who care to look for them.
Yes, I guess I did.
Who are you?
Oh, just a student.
Much like you.
I'm wondering why I'm still here.
Well, it's time for class.
I should be going.
The buzz of a new teacher filled the air.
Whispers of his great accomplishments and talents made me quiver deep inside.
Oh, here he comes.
The great Ansel Williams.
He was just a student.
See, we're all just students, my dear.
I found nothing left to learn.
Nothing more to perfect.
I don't give up art entirely.
Now, class, let's paint.
Not just a picture, but a portrait of passion.
My artistic passion began to blossom as I watched him sketch and teach the great
art of capturing the human form.
Ansel did not just simply paint portraits.
He became one with the model.
He was making love to the subject themselves.
Each stroke of ecstasy enticed me so.
I began to see a carnal canvas of lust appear in front of me.
Oh, this is like an embossed kiss.
Yeah.
Oh, that's nice.
Oh, you suck it down, baby.
Oh, no.
Oh!
Hmm.
I knew it was just me.
The other students could not see it.
They had been left out for some strange reason.
Ansel's work was aimed at inspiring me.
Seducing me.
For art's sake.
Perhaps you'll grace us with your form one day and model for us.
I felt free.
I felt in control for a change.
I liked what was happening to me.
All my life I had been afraid.
If I could just paint with the sensuous feelings I held inside, then maybe I
would capture that passion on the canvas.
I could, too, be a great painter like Ansel.
Oh!
I stood there, naked, wrapped within a classic shroud of simplicity.
Lit only by candles, I posed amongst the easels and the canvases with
the most passionate artists of our time.
turn to love on the virgin canvas of lust and fill his paints
in a swirl of ecstasy.
There's one lesson that I have left to tell you.
What's that?
Something you should always keep in mind.
The great masterpieces of time are not because of great artists.
They're because of the marriage between inspiration.
You are my inspiration.
You are my portrait of passion.
um
Oh.
Oh.
I paint for love.
I paint for life.
I paint myself paintings.
I have never felt so alive.
A vivid dream of desire.
Did you visit me in my dreams, Ansel?
Or was it real?
I was born to do this.
I... Feel it in my soul.
Now come alive, my dear lovers.
Come alive onto my canvas.
Oh, God.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Mmm.
Look at that boat Kyle
Yeah. Ooh.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Fuck it.
Fuck it up.
No. No.
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Come on, baby.
Yeah. Come on. Come on. Come on. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Oh,
yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Oh,
fuck. Oh, right there. Right there. Oh, fuck.
Come on. Come on. Come on. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
No, baby. I don't want to do it.
Oh, fuck. Oh, fuck. Oh, fuck. Oh, fuck. Oh, fuck.
You've grown so much as an artist.
And as a woman, too.
You know, all along you've had the power to change things.
But you put so much faith in me that you didn't realize that you are truly the
great artist.
It's time for you to let me go.
You've known all along that I'm not real.
Of course I realized that Ansel had been my inspiration.
amused by the torrid passion I hid inside.
He had shown me about love.
There are so many beautiful things that await you in real life, like love,
romance, where your new teacher awaits you.
I was sorry to see him go, but I knew he would be with me always,
painting the colors of intimate desire on my virgin
sandals of love.
