The reverse grid F1 Academy race at
Zandvoort took place on a dry track

damp qualifying. Nina gave and led from
pole, but Chloe Chambers ran wide after

a little contact with Joanne Pan. And
Pan also saw Tina Hausman run wide. She

suffered her first DNF of the year.
Joanne Pan came under pressure, losing

places to Ella Lloyd and later to Maya
Berg, moving up from eighth on the grid.

Arania Nobles was also making some good
moves from 17th to finish ninth.

Celebrations for Ferrari backing
Mayerberg, finishing third. And birthday

race winner Nina Gaidman winning her
first race in the series and for Alpine

well, getting a victory once again.

Well, we're all set for the second race
of the weekend now. We're at two -thirds

of the way through the season, and we
are at Zandvoort in Netherlands. Welcome

from me, Ben Edwards, as we look forward
to the main race, scoring maximum

points, 25 for the win, around this
seaside looping and angling circuit with

history going back into the 1950s. Rain
earlier this morning, which dried off,

could make it a little bit more
challenging. Once again, a bit like

yesterday, which saw the drivers...

go out on wets and then put slicks on to
get their best lap times done as

quickly as possible. And it is a little
bit of a challenge. Alongside me is

Alice Powell, who won the W Series race
here in 2021 from second on the grid.

Alice, we could be on for another rather
unpredictable event.

We certainly could, but Maya Berg has
got the best starting position.

She looks pumped and ready to go.

As we were touching on just then, Ben,
when we first came into the commentary

box, we were looking out onto the
circuit and we were thinking, wow.

What tyres would you choose? But it's
quite quickly dried up. But that right

-hand side of the grid, from driver's
point of view, has got a few wet patches

on it still. So it's going to be tricky
for that side of the grid. Alicia

Palmoski heads that side of the grid.
Then behind her will be Chloe. Directly

behind will be Chloe Chambers from Lear
Block, who, of course, got her first

podium. And there's a perfect shot of it
there. A few wet patches.

It's a little bit damp, but in place is
on the left -hand side of the grid. But

naturally, the way it is here in
Zandvoort, that dry.

Absolutely.

Well, we shall see how this works. It's
going to be challenging. We had a Dutch

winner yesterday. We've got a Dutch
racer on pole position. Let's start down

the back of the grid. We have Eva
Anagnostiadis and Aurelia Nobles. We

set times in qualifying, but Aurelia did
get up to ninth yesterday. That was

impressive. Nicole Havrida, she starts
from 16th place. She got up to 10th

yesterday. Joanne Cicconte, she's the
youngest, of course. And the second

youngest, Alba Larsson. She's 14th on
the grid and Courtney Crone is 13th.

Then Chloe Chong, not having a great
weekend so far, having had a fifth place

Montreal last time. Raffaella Ferreira
starts in the 11th place. Into the top

ten then. And Emma Felbermayer, the
Austrian racer, she starts 10th. And the

wildcard, Esme Kosterman, starts in
ninth place.

Nina Gaidman, the winner yesterday, she
starts in eighth. Now that we're not at

reverse grid, Tina Hausmann, who went
off.

She starts in seventh.

Leah Block had a fantastic second place
finish yesterday, starting sixth today.

And there's our series leader, Dorian
Pound, starting in fifth position.

Chloe Chambers starts in fourth, a
challenger for the title. Ella Lloyd

in third place. And then on to the front
row, we have Alicia Palmowski.

And as we mentioned, Maia Verg doing a
fantastic job yesterday, going from

eighth to third, challenging Lea Bloch
right at the end. They're getting some

very useful points, but today is the day
to get the most points because we are

in for the main Formula 1 point, 25 for
the win, all the way down to 10th place

for one.

We are, and it was bright skies, but you
could just see from the fantastic

helicam shot we got there, there is some
rain, and looking at our timing screens

with the weather, there is some
potential rain coming in. to Zandvoort.

that's going to be in the next 30
minutes or so, we'll have to check that

But there looks like there's a few
mechanics running back, Nina Gaiman,

surrounding Nina Gaiman's car. So I
don't know whether she's got some kind

issue. No, she's all good now. They're
clearing the grid. And actually, they're

trying to start, by the looks of it,
Chloe Chambers' car, some instructions

the mechanics. And the mechanics...

have to be off the grid at a certain
time you can just see the scrutiny

saying come on time to get off but uh
all good panic over from them chloe

is shaking her head but is it okay i'm
not sure it is maybe we're told to get

off is the car running

Let's wait and see. When they get away
on the formation lap, because what they

will do is if they have to get the team
away, they will then recover her

afterwards. And, yeah, sure enough,
she's not moving. And, look, behind me,

block wasn't worn. Now, that's a bit odd
that she hadn't been worn, that the car

in front was unlikely to move. But they
weren't able to get her sorted because

they had to get off the grid. And I can
just see on the steering wheel, it's

stuck on the start -up page. So she's
tried to maybe do some kind of reset.

This is not good for one of our
championship contenders, Chloe Chambers.

currently 16 points behind Dorian Pan.

Wow, this is a difficult start. But Ella
Lloyd, she is starting in third place.

Let's hear from her going into this
race.

Yeah, feeling pretty good. I think it
was a decent lap in Corley.

And yeah, hopefully we can move forward
now in the races like we did in Canada.

Feeling mixed emotions, to be honest.

Obviously, a great result to be P2 from
the front row of the grid. We're in the

fight for the win tomorrow.

But equally, to be so, so close to pole.

It's the second time that's happened
this year after being so close to pole

well in Miami.

So it's a tough one to take. But
equally, we're in a great position for

to score some great points.

Yeah, obviously great. I mean, that's
what we wanted, of course, to get pole.

was probably the trickiest session out
there I've had for quality.

So yeah, the track drying up, we knew
that the lap would be the last lap and

that's where we put it together.

But yeah, I just saw that the top six
was within two tenths. So yeah, I'm glad

that we got that two tenths in front.

So Maya Berg there with the Ferrari
backing MP Motorsport, the team based

in the Netherlands. And she starts from
her second pole position of this 2025

season. She's had one win so far. That
was in Jeddah. She's had five podiums.

fact, the top racers have had five
podiums so far. Dorianne Pan, the series

leader, she's had five podiums this
year. So has Chloe Chambers. But it

look like Chloe Chambers is going to be
likely to get a podium.

Her car is in the pit now.

And so presumably it will pit lane start
for her. And that's going to be very,

very challenging for Chloe Chambers.
Remember, she's second in the points at

moment because Maya Berg dropped down to
third after technical problems. she had

with her car last time out in Canada.

That is just so unlucky for her. You can
see the Campos crew looking down on the

pit wall. All communication should be
going. I still don't think they've got

that sorted. She's pushed towards the
right end of the pit lane. You need to

obviously at the start of the pit lane
or the exit of the pit lane, should I

say, to get going.

But that allows then those behind her to
move up.

If you're talking into championship
sense, that's good news for Meyerberg.

If she keeps it on the road where she is
now, she will, of course, leapfrog

Chloe Chambers into P2.

And, of course, then Dorian Pan will
be...

Happy to, of course, know that one of
her rivals, her championship rivals, is

unable to take the start.

But plenty of tyre temperature being
built up. It's slightly warmer than the

temperatures they had during qualifying
yesterday. Of course, we had those mixed

conditions. They did set the lap times
in the end on slick tyres.

And it looked like Leah Block is
actually having to reverse back because

pulled up into Chloe Chambers' spot.

It's good she's realised it'd be an end
to react.

We'll be careful.

Not to get for a jump start.

Lights out. F1 Academy is underway.

And it's a good start from the Pulsar to
Maia Berg.

Ella Lloyd from the outside. Also
grabbing second place. Getting in front

Alicia Palmowski.

The two British racers. Second and third
at the moment. And then it's Dorianne

Pan who is in fourth place. Of course
looking for points to retain that

championship lead that she has at the
moment. In fourth place. And defending

position quite tightly. But what a great
start by Maia Berg.

Yeah, great start by her and Ella Lloyd
as well. I think there might be a...

Penalty incoming for Leah Block who got
her first podium yesterday.

but all cleanly through, but it's
looking like Ella Lloyd is really

That's a brave place to go up the inside
into turn six. They come up over the

hill now into seven, but Ella Lloyd, she
struggled yesterday in the race, but in

these early stages, she's looking racy,
but she's going to become under pressure

from Alicia Palmoski. It's easy to make
little errors here at Zandvoort. She's

just dropped a couple of places back
from Maia Berg now and is coming under

pressure, as you say, from Alicia
Palmoski with the Red Bull backing and

behind them. Oh, let's... Look at this
down the inside.

Oh, almost touching, but they just give
each other enough space. Only just Ella

Lloyd with the McLaren backing with the
Rodin team.

And she is just holding on to that
second place at the moment. But Dorian

also a part of this. And the Mercedes
-Benz back machine, the series leader,

she's now trying to go around the
outside.

Can't be done there.

Yeah, it's difficult to go around the
outside of turn 11, but it's been great

for Meyerberg, his second half of the
lap.

And I'm getting word in my ear that
Chloe Chambers has not been able to make

start. That's so unlucky for her.

The worst sinking feeling. And she knows
we're getting to crunch time in this

season. But things can change quickly.

But everyone threw nice and cleanly on
this opening lap.

Tina Hausman currently running in fifth
place. And the winner from yesterday,

Nina Gaidman, in the Alpine backing.

And Livery, you can see her in the
background. She's in sixth place, doing

good job. That was a little bit of a
lock -up by Palmoski, but she got away

it. We do have a yellow flag in sector
one, so somebody else may have gone even

deeper into that first corner. But it is
Maia Berg who is leading this race

currently from Lloyd in second place.

Palmoski in third position, fourth place
for Dorian Pant. Yes, and it does look

as though there was a little bit of an
issue for Nicole Havrida into turn one.

Yeah, so I'm getting told it was with
Nobles as well was involved. They were

towards that end of the grid. Let's have
a little look.

We're riding on board with Dorian
Patton, so the incident's much further

There's the lock -up from Palmofsky.
Just runs wide.

Because of the banking there, you can
kind of just about get away with a lock

-up there. You often see, even in
Formula 1, they'll snatch that inside

replay a little bit further back.

Oh.

It's a lock -up, wasn't it, under
braking, and that took Aurelia Noble.

to avoid.

And that's Aurelia, very unlucky there.
She had a storming drive through the

field, starting last on the grid
yesterday because she wasn't able to do

within 107 % of qualifying, so it wasn't
her permission. You can see there...

What it means to Chloe, it's heartbreak
for her because, as I said, it's crunch

time at this time of the season and
dropping, this is potentially dropping

points. And she looked racy yesterday,
so hugely.

dorian pat is definitely getting pretty
close to trying to get a podium out of

her efforts right now as well now this
is a good little battle as alba larson

number 12 they're trying to come through
and the tape on the front ring front

wing but Alba Larson is trying to get
past Chloe Chong she's kind of having a

little look down the inside but that
outside line there Alice is always the

quicker line isn't it? It certainly is
the favourable line if you're going

through there but Alba had a good storm
up through the field and actually these

two made contact yesterday it resulted
in Chloe Chong getting a puncher so she

had to box Alba Larson got a penalty for
the contact and she also had to box for

a damaged front wing

You can see at the top of the picture
there a pit lane infringement. I'm not

sure what that was for Chloe Chambers,
but all good. Of course, she is sadly

unable to make the start. But back up
front, Mayberg's taken good control of

this race. She's set fastest.

first sector of anybody that's a couple
of tenths quicker than Ella Lloyd who's

in second place but Ella Lloyd's just
gained a little bit of time back in the

middle sector only a fraction though so
they've started to spread out a little

bit with a few battles throughout the
field Yeah, a good bit of a three -way

battle here, haven't we? Because Chloe
Chong is just hanging on to this 11th

place. Remember, you get points down to
tenth, so they're just outside the

points at this stage.

And interestingly, Alba Larson's been
very consistent normally in scoring

points, but she wasn't able to, as you
say, in race one this weekend.

That's only the second of the nine races
she's done so far that she hasn't

managed to score anything at all.

There is still a chance for her, but
she's got to get herself into the top

and that's not proving easy. And with
the track...

drying out so much more. There are fewer
mistakes than we kind of expected.

Let's have a look at the start. And this
was when Leah Blott got it wrong.

Yes,

just a lack of concentration.

She went back.

So she did go back, but the start
procedure had already taken place. You

just see at the top of the screen,
lights will appear to start to come on.

And she was then still moving forward
when the lights were coming on. So she

will get a penalty. I'll be amazed if
she doesn't. But everyone was clean

A great launch from Ella Lloyd.

Maybe it could have been being on the
slightly drier part of the grid, but

everyone was clearly through. And
actually the top three had a little bit

breakaway, didn't they, from Dorian Pan.

Tina Houseman, who didn't finish
yesterday, had that instant going off on

own at turn eight, was putting her
fellow Premier teammate under pressure.

And you can see Nobles was trying that
tighter inside line to try and make her

way through the pack and up front. Oh,
that was so close.

And here's the start from Eloise. She
just got the perfect launch. She got the

best launch of the top five, that is for
sure.

Yeah. That's interesting, that, because
it was a good start, but there was a

slight movement. I wonder if they're
going to be looking at that again. We'll

find out later, but at the moment, it is
Blok who's under investigation for

false start for out of position. She did
move back, but as you say, she was kind

of moving forward again a little bit, I
think. So, Maia Verg with a comfortable

lead at the moment, 1 .6 seconds over
Ella Lloyd in second place. Alicia

Palmosky there in third with the red
ball backing, and then it is our series

leader, Dorian Phan, solidly... She
scored points in every single race so

this year. The only driver to actually
do that. And fourth place at the moment.

She'll want to be on the podium, but she
knows she's just got to stay in there.

Oh, that's a bit wide, isn't it, from
Lloyd? That was a bit wide from Ella

Lloyd. She struggled with pace in the
race yesterday.

That's going to put her under pressure.
She did get a podium here in British

Airport one or two months ago.

She's going to cover slightly that
inside line, and that has really allowed

Mayerberg to stretch her legs slightly.

Oh, going to have a look down the inside
is Alicia, but thinks better of it. But

Alicia's going to come under the
difficult task of attacking and

She's got Dorian Pan just three -tenths
of a second.

Behind her, so it's looking quite close.
Tina Halsman's a little bit further

back, but she'll be pleased to see the
battling going on, because, of course,

it's going to really slow these drivers
down. 1 .37 .6 is the fastest lap at the

moment. That's set by Meyerberg, so, of
course, crucially, if she keeps that

fastest lap, she will get that one extra
point for fastest lap. Absolutely.

There's no doubt that this battle, as
you say, between Lloyd Malmoski and

Pan, is allowing Meyerberg to just ease
away even further.

Set fastest lap already. He did
yesterday as well. This is such a big

opportunity for Meyerberg to close the
points gap to Dorian Tan.

There is Dorian. We're just having a
quick look through there, who had a 37

-point lead coming into this event in
the Netherlands. But that is going to be

reduced. There's no doubt. And there
are, of course, two more major events,

Singapore and Las Vegas, in F1 Academy
this year. So this is crucial for

Meyerberg. And we could be on for
another Dutch winner as well, because we

one yesterday and the crowd went mad.
Well, there might be a chance for it

again, because Maia Vergh is from the
Netherlands as well. So let's see how

get on. But in the meantime, it is this
battle for second place that you

mentioned. It's going to be close all
the way. I noticed that yesterday, Leah

Blom did a great job. She held on to
second place, but she did say she had

looked after her tyres a bit, because by
the end of the race, she knew that she

would be under trouble. Maia Vergh got
very close, but couldn't quite get past.

So how much do you think here Dorian Tan
is maybe just thinking, I need to look

after my tyres so I can be in a good
place at the end of this? She could

potentially be doing that, but she
struggled for pace yesterday during the

She fell backwards.

She was looking strong, fairly strong at
the start. There was that slight bit of

contact between her and Chloe Chambers.

But I'd be...

amazed if Dorian was not trying to
attack at this stage of the race.

Could be a little bit tactical, but I
would have thought she'd be trying to

past as soon as possible because that
would then open up that gap. The gap is

spreading at the front and Dorian would
be able to see Meyerberg in the lead,

pulling away, but still waiting to see
what sort of penalty...

Mia Block is going to be getting... And
I just want to point out, Edna Costable

is up into seventh place. She was meant
to be starting ninth yesterday, but she

had that penalty, didn't... Well, she
had a tyre infringement, tyre pressure

infringement, so she had to come into
the pits with the team, the high -tech

team, to put some...

pressure in her rear right tyre and she
had to start from the pit lane. She did

a great job and got up to 12th place. So
we could be saying she is a wildcard

entry. I mean, she's only doing this
event this year.

She could become the first wildcard
driver to score points this year. We've

it in the past, but this year, none of
the wildcard entries who just do the one

event, two races at one event, they have
not scored. But she's in great position

right now.

And, of course, looking forward, this
could give an opportunity for her to

F1 Academy into bringing her full -time
in the following season. It's a prime

opportunity.

for the wildcard drivers to prove their
skills, show their worth, and why they

deserve to be on the grid in a full
-time seat. We're riding on board with a

former wildcard driver at Qatar from
last year, Alicia Palmofsky, who's still

chasing down another wildcard driver we
had last year. Ella Lloyd took part in

the Singapore race, and both drivers
showed their skill, and with their

performance, they earned...

themselves the space on the grid same
with nina gaidman she had a great strong

showing here as well we've got a yellow
flag in this sector here and it looks

like emma felbemeyer you can see on the
timing screen there is just dropping

down the order so there we go she's had
a spin is that looks like that's on

entry she had us been into turn 10 so I
wonder if there was any contact there of

course we will at some point get a
replay but that's a shame because she's

very consecutive with the points in
recent races so it's a real shame that

not going to be able to get points this
time I think she dropped right down to

the back of the field as you say we'll
have to have a look and see exactly what

happened there

Let's have a look. So Emma Felber
-Meyer, was it in a battle? No, she lost

herself, didn't she? Got two sideways.

She just tried to carry a little bit too
much speed into turn 10. It can give

you a false sense of security in turn
10. You think, yeah, I can carry that

speed. And it just continues. The corner
continues. And then at that point, it

was too much for her.

And rear tyres said no. And around she
went.

But Palmofsky is the fastest first
sector of anybody on this lap.

So clearly feeling comfortable in a Red
Bull Campos ramp machine.

Under pressure, though, is Ella. Dorian
is still keeping that gap fairly

consistent. Saying that she was 7 tenths
a couple of laps ago. Now into a

second. No DRS in F1 Academy. If you are
new to F1 Academy.

No push to pass either. All overtaking
has to be done by yourself. Getting that

exit, putting your rival under pressure
and trying to force them into a mistake.

Yeah, and at the moment, Ella Lloyd is
doing a fine job of holding off

Karlovski. So, second and third. The gap
up front is just getting bigger and

bigger as Meyerberg is setting fastest
lap after fastest lap. Although,

actually, Karlovski is just on the
fastest first sector of anybody on this

particular lap. But Meyerberg...

Four seconds ahead. I do feel for her.
She had a tough time in Montreal with

technical problems with the car. It
wasn't her that made mistakes.

Let's listen to Nina Gaidman. Tina's
making too many mistakes.

So, Nina Gaidman, who won yesterday,
saying Tina, her team -mate, they're

raised for the Premier Team. You're on
board, Nina Gaidman, the winner

yesterday. There is Tina Housman just up
ahead of her. And she's saying she's

made too many mistakes.

I wonder if we'll get a view of that.

I mean, they're out there racing on
their own. It'll be Nina's job to try

get past.

So the Premier team can't go on the
radio and say, you're making too many

mistakes, get out of the way. And that
was a high line from our wildcard

And then Leoblok tried to swoop down to
get the shorter line to then get the run

up. And you could just see he got that
big snap there. But false start. There

go. Leah Block will have a 10 -second
time penalty. So that will drop her way

out of the point. She'll fall as it
stands currently all the way down to

place. What it will do at the moment is
bring Courtney Crone up into the points.

She's not scored any points this year.
She is currently in 11th.

And if Block is pushed down and the
time, as you say, pushes her well

down the order.

That would be a real opportunity for
Courtney Cronin. It's had a bit of a

time. The American who has just not been
able to score any points since her

first full year.

She finished 13th in race one yesterday.

Susie Wolfe, managing director of F1
Academy, of course, watching this all

closely to see what's going to happen.

It's over half -distance, a little way
to go in this race, of course. But

Meierberg is dominating.

She is doing such a fabulous job. There
she is, leading comfortably. And it's

still the battle for second, third,
potentially fourth. But as you say,

Pan has dropped back a little bit there.
She has.

So Meierberg takes another fastest lap
of the race at 1 .37 .0.

4 .8, personal best actually all round
for our top four but Emma Lloyd half a

second off that pace, 6 tenths off

as we're having a look at this battle
you were saying about Courtney Crone

getting her first top ten around the
outside goes Alba Larson lovely move

her and it looks like that tape or vinyl
some of it's cleared off I think it's

vinyl on that front wing she obviously
had a new front wing put on yesterday

with that contact with Chloe Chong well
of course this actually goes with Alba

Larson being very consistent normally at
scoring points, failing yesterday, but

she does normally score points, and now
she's got herself in a position that is

a possible point scorer with that
penalty for Bloch. So Courtney Cronin's

to have to find another way to get back
into the points again.

That was a close battle and a very good
move, I have to say, by Alba Larson. It

is a tough track on which to overtake
here. You've raced here, you know what

it's like. It's not easy.

It's not easy. It's frustrating.

You get a good toe down the main
straight.

That's a prize. opportunity breaking
into to turn one it's a break it can't

breaking zone particularly on the inside
there, you are trying to make a move.

And then it's forcing the driver under
pressure through turn two, turn three,

plenty of mistakes from drivers at turn
three.

And then you've got to have the real
overspeed on your rival if you're going

challenge at all into turn seven. And
then the next opportunity really is into

turn 10 and turn 11. So only a small
amount of opportunities for drivers to

the move.

Five seconds is the gap up front now.

Absolutely. Leah Bloch's got this
penalty. She's looking at trying to gain

place, of course, here on Esme
Kosterman. She's got a bit closer. She's

good lap, that last lap around, but not
challenging into turn one just yet.

And Esme Kosterman still looking to
become the first wildcard entry this

score points.

But even if she lost the place to Block,
it wouldn't matter because Block has

that penalty. So be sensible.

Don't worry too much. I wonder if she's
been told by the team, you know, if

you're feeling massively under pressure
here, you could actually let Leah Block

through. It won't affect your position.

You would have thought the team would
have told her. There's no worth taking a

big risk. She's got a good gap behind to
Rafaela.

Ferreira, who's in ninth place, gap 2 .4
there.

You can actually just see, following in
that dirty air through Turn 7, even in

these lower -speed F1 Academy cars
compared to Formula 1, following in the

air is particularly tricky.

And Nina Gaben still trying to put her
teammate Tina Hausman under pressure.

This is basically a Formula 4 car, isn't
it? Slightly different spec to what

they race in the British Formula 4.

Tyres are slightly different. But this
is a junior level to give drivers a real

opportunity to learn so much.

They'll be learning every single time
they go on track, whether you're winning

or you're losing.

You're always learning something.
They've been faced with all sorts this

weekend, haven't they? Tricky
conditions.

They've had some running on wet tyres,
slick tyres and damp conditions, and now

a fully...

dry session which of course their last
fully dry session actually would have

yesterday but plenty of things for these
drivers to learn and getting that all

important vital track time is so key at
the stage of their career.

Challenging battle this between two
teammates.

They have, in the past, they have
briefly made contact. Let's hope they

nice and clean.

Tina Hausman and Nina Gaidman.

Nina Gaidman, who took that victory
yesterday, very good when she was out in

front, managed to hold the pace, the
control in the race yesterday to take

first ever win. She hasn't managed to
find a way past Tina Hausman. Of course,

Tina Hausman went off yesterday. She was
the one that made a mistake, but she's

being quite cautious, but still with
good pace. Meanwhile, we're looking back

at... Esme Kosterman again, still under
pressure from Leah Block. There's a very

short gap between them.

Let's see what happens here.

Ah, now Ella Lloyd has been noted for a
full start, moving

before the signal. We did wonder when we
saw the replay of whether she was

moving. So Lloyd, who is currently in
second place, holding off Balmoski, is

very likely to get a penalty any moment.

Yeah, so we'll see if we can catch
another replay.

That will likely be usually a full start
like Ella. She was in position. She

would have crept, I'm guessing. You've
spotted it there, Ben, on the replay.

That would usually be a five -second
penalty. I think Dorian Pan got one of

these in race one here last year.

So we can see the Road and Motorsport
team. We see Warren Hughes there

on.

who works very, very closely with all
the McLaren juniors. Five laps to go in

this, and if Ella has got a penalty, she
really needs to try and open up that

gap. But one of the closest battles on
track at the moment is between Nina

Gaiman and Tina House. Yeah, the two
teammates, they are very, very close

into turn one, but not quite there.

And Nina Gaiman, having had confidence,
of course, she was so emotional on the

podium yesterday, that victory.

Let's have a quick look at Ella Lloyd's
start again. We've got a chance to have

a replay.

Yeah, well, she crept, didn't she? And
there's sensors underneath the car.

And there we go. Five -second time
penalty. And I think that is correct

she did move. So that will then promote.

Dorian Pan onto the final step of the
podium as it stands, at least at the

moment. Yeah, because she would stay
ahead of Houseman, wouldn't she? She

So Ella will be getting that radio
message, I'm sure, from her team on the

wall. But she's done a great job, did
get a great start. She would have gained

nothing from having that creep. But the
rules are the rules. She moved before

the lights went out.

Now it's really time for her to try and
stretch her legs. She's got, well, just

under five laps to go.

A lot of encouragement for Tina Housman.

And it's great she having had that off
yesterday, which is always a bit of a

downer. She has held her position very
well so far in fifth place. But can she

go a bit quicker? And then when Lloyd
gets her penalty, can she actually gain

another place? I'm not sure she's going
to quite do that because Lloyd is

putting in some good lap times
currently. She's still under pressure,

from her teammate Nina Gaidman.

We've still got some good performances
further back, of course, with Esme

Correa. Kosterman holding on to that
seventh place ahead of Leoblot. But

with the penalty will be pushed down.

Ferreira will effectively then be up
into eighth place. Chloe Chong ninth.

Alba Larson looks like she's going to be
the one to score the final point in

ten.

Lloyd at five seconds time penalty. Five
seconds time penalty for Lloyd. So very

important we keep the gap within there.

She's well within that. So Ella's either
going to find a real turn of pace.

in the next few laps.

Dorian Pann has just set her best first
sector and it's a one -tenth quicker

than Ella Lloyd on this lap.

So she's doing what she needs to do.

Tina Houseman, though, she really has
got to try and make moves forward. And

again, she's probably got the message as
well. She's gone a fraction quicker

than Ella Lloyd and has set her best for
sector. We'll wait for them to cut the

sector two time in which they're coming
up to now. They're all fairly similar in

that middle sector.

Trying to do her hardest to gain some
time back. But she's still under

She has the majority of the race. And it
looks like that gap between Kosterman

and Bloch has opened up slightly.

So a good showing from our wildcard
driver.

Yeah, let's have a little look at the

we've seen this from over the weekend at

F1 Academy take to the track and it's
been clean.

see as well. Yeah, and the tyres will be

getting a bit worn by now, and if
drivers have been pushing them a bit too

in the early stages, it might help those
who have been a little bit more

cautious. I tell you what, Alba Larson
is doing a good job here, and she still

could potentially get past Chloe Chong
before the end of this race. Our race

leader, with six seconds advantage over
Ella Lloyd in currently second place,

but with that five -second penalty,
she's definitely going to push her down

personal best in the first sector.

Kosterman as well.

The times at the front kind of staying
the same. Ella Lloyd not able to

stretch her legs. She was actually, last
time,

around a couple of tenths slower than
that of Alicia Palmofsky. So still not

having the pace there in a road and
motorsport.

Yeah, she's got just under four seconds
to Dorian Pan. She needs another second

over Dorian Pan to hold on to a
potential podium finish.

Not sure. I don't think that's going to
happen. I think Dorian Pan's got enough

taste to be able to go. So going on to
the last lap is our race leader, Maya

Verg, having started from pole. And we
could be on for a double Dutch victory

M1 Academy here in the Netherlands.

Yesterday, it was another Dutch driver,
Nina Gaedeman.

Today, it's Maia Berg who's heading for
the win. And I have to say, all three

Dutch drivers are likely to get in the
points. But Alba Larsson now is making a

move on the outside.

Down the outside into turn one. Can she
hold on as they go into the hairpin? Oh,

look up from Chloe Jamesworth. Tuck back
in. This might work. Oh, beautiful by

Alba Larsson. Really well done.

Lovely, lovely move. You can see she's
got the overspeed on her. Got in that

tow. Clearly had a much better exit out
of turn 13.

And she was then able to get that run,
put Chloe under pressure, force her to

defend on the inside, the dirtier,
bumpier part of entry into turn one.

She did everything she could, had that
lock -up, which was perfectly read by

Alba Larson, and then got that cut back.

Alicia Palmofsky now has just set the
fastest first sector.

Yeah, she's done that before, actually.
She's still got life in the tyre.

Maybe she's going to try and chase
fastest lap.

Ella Lloyd, I don't think she's going to
be able to, unless Dorian Pan has a

really bad middle and final sector. I
don't think she's going to be able to...

to gain saying that Dorian lost nearly
nine tenths of a second to Ella Lloyd in

that middle sector so I don't know if
Dorian did make some kind of mistake

somewhere okay well that's interesting
we'll see what the gap is when they

take victory in Zandvoort for the main

race it is Maya Verg

The Dutch racer with the Dutch team MP
Motorsport. They've taken victory.

Second across the line goes Ella Lloyd,
but she's got the five -second penalty.

That means that Palmoski finishes
second. Dorian Pan close enough to take

Ella Lloyd pushed down to fourth. And
the two teammates have been battling

throughout. Tina Houtsman and Nina
Gaidman. They crossed the line.

in fifth and sixth places.

But well, oh, we've got a slight move,
Leah Block, of course, yes, with the

penalty being pushed down now, the block
penalty for the start. And it is great

to see that Esme Kosterman has become
the first wildcard entry this year to

score points. She finished in seventh
ahead of Rafaela Ferreira, who did a

job in eighth.

Larson, who moved up very, very well, up
into ninth position, and Chloe Chong

getting the final point in tenth. Alba
Larson started in 14th, so well done. to

her to come up that far. But Maya Virg
has taken victory and crucially has

closed up the points gap to Dorian Pan,
the series leader. And we've still got a

championship battle on between them. But
look at this. Look at the wave from

Esme Kosterman. That's lovely.

As she should. Really pleased for her in
that great team view and livery.

And big waves, of course, from our race
winner, Maya Virg. She knows how

important this is.

Yes, Maya.

Go on.

So great. The 21 -year -old from the
Netherlands who was born in Spain

originally but grown up in the
Netherlands and should be on that podium

Zandvoort again because she was last
year but she had to take the win. But

gradually...

taking it on and on and done so well.
Alicia Palmosky? Yep, so that's P2. Well

done, well done. Very good race, very
good race. Good fighting, good race.

Yeah. Yeah, thank you very much.

And that's her best result in a main
race. Her main race before her best

was fourth. So she's had a win in a
reverse grid race. But in the main race,

get the maximum points. That is her
first podium. So well done to Alicia

Palmosky. Yes, it was a bit frustrating
for her. She couldn't find a way past

Ella Lloyd. But in the end, Ella got the
penalty for that roll at the start as

the lights went out. But Ella Lloyd has
finished fourth again. So because she

finished fourth yesterday, she's
finished fourth today. I think she'll

bit disappointed with this weekend,
having scored podium here when she was

racing in British Formula 4. But that is
still the way that it is for Ella

Lloyd. And the battle will continue
between them in the points, actually,

closely, to be the best of the first
drivers in the series this year, scoring

well in the overall points. Maya Berg,
of course, in her second year of F1

Academy. And she's taken a very
important victory.

Hugely important victory. We'll get the
championship points.

When we can. But that's going to play.
Really important heading into the final

two races. Our next round.

Still plenty of time to go. Of course,
poor Chloe Chambers has now dropped back

to third because she was not able to
start this race, get going at all.

Ella Lloyd is in fourth place ahead of
Alicia Palmosky. So there's the same

story there between them.

Meanwhile, Nina Gaidman's had a good
weekend. She is in sixth place

And behind her, Alba Larsson, who again
has scored points, being very, very

consistent most of the year, just
missing out yesterday. That was one of

issues. Well done to Maya Berg.

Really impressive.

Close that gap to Dorian Paz. So crucial
this weekend, especially at her home

event. And lots of support from the
fans. They'll be looking forward to an

Dutch racer getting up onto the top step
on the podium, as we saw yesterday when

it was Nina Gaidman. Nina Gaidman has
finished down in fifth place today, but

still scored some very, very useful
points this weekend, no doubt about it.

then, as we mentioned, Esme Kosterman.
She won't be on the podium, Esme

Kosterman, but the celebration of
becoming the first wildcard entry to

point here. at Zandvoort at the first
point of the season, of this F1 Academy

season. That's very impressive. And I
think she'll be very, very happy with

that.

Certainly will. And you can see what it
means. Two Dutch winners this weekend in

F1 Academy and celebrations all around
for MP Motorsport.

And that's really closed up the gap.

19 points now is the gap between
Maierberg and Dorian Pan.

Heading into the next round, Dorian
Maia, of course, will jump ahead of

Chambers with that unfortunate non
-start with the technical issues for

Hugely unlucky.

But how things can change quite quickly
is heading into this weekend.

Maia was around about 37 points off the
lead.

saw them talking together.

They are fighting. It's 20 points gap
between them in the championship. Dorian

Pan on 127, Maia Verg on 107. And for
Chloe Chambers, who didn't get the...

between the drivers in F1 Academy. Great

Alicia Pomosky on the podium.

Yeah, well done to Alicia, as I say, for
her best result in the main race, which

scores the most points. That really is
impressive.

And very well done to Maya Berg. She
absolutely needed that result, and she

deliver it. So, well done. And there we

Dorianne Pan, then, yet another podium
to celebrate and to maintain that

championship lead.

Second place, then, for Alicia Pomosky.

First career podium finish in the main
race format.

And a really impressive attack all the
way through, even though she hit that

sideways moment, as they laughed about.

But the race winner, Mayerberg, for
Ferrari. Well, it's the first time a

single -seater has won an example since
René Arnoux in 1983.

So for the second time this weekend, the
Netherlands national anthem with a

different driver in F1 Academy. Nina
Gaegman yesterday, but Maja Vergh today,

giving the fans plenty to get excited
about.

And of course, they'll all be looking
forward to potentially another one later

on today in Formula One. We shall see
what happens. So Maja Vergh getting her

trophy. Alicia Palmosky in her first
full season in F1 Academy.

Doing an absolutely superb job getting
that podium.

And Dorianne Pan, series leader, her
second season. And that is a result she

needed after a disappointing run
yesterday.

Still scoring points in sixth place, but
back on the podium once again.

So, Maya Berg, celebrating away.

And many, many congratulations.

Absolutely the weekend she needed,
coming from eighth to third in race one.

And they're dominating from pole
position in race two.

to get a fantastic collection of points
over the two races this weekend.

And for MP Motorsport, the Dutch team as
well, it's been good. They've actually

moved up a bit more in the team's
championships as well. They're in third

moment. It's still Prema Racing that are
comfortably in the lead.

Prema, part of Dorianne Pant, of course,
looks as though Alicia Palmoski is

getting a little bit more sprayed than
she expected.

When you get that stuff in your eye, it
does stink.

especially if you're a contact lens
wearer like me. And you can see I feel

Alicia's got that problem.

But they won't mind. It's a nice problem
to have because that means you've made

a visit to the podium.

And another great display of racing from
F1 Academy. And you have to wait five

weeks.

until we see it all over again.

Absolutely. So Singapore will be the
next round on the championship.

And we shall see how that all goes.

And then there'll be one more in Las
Vegas. And that's not until November.

it may well be that the championship
isn't decided until then.

extremely well from 14th to finish
ninth. And Chloe Chong taking the final

points. She started down in 12th but
managed to finish in 10th position.

In 11th, Courtney Crone again just
missed out on the points, I'm afraid,

of Leah Block at the penalty.

Felbermayer, Nicole Havrida, Eva

Anagnostialis, and Paul -Chloe Chambers,
who didn't get out at the start of the

race with a problem with the car.

So there we are. Zandvoort, always a
hugely entertaining venue for F1

for any kind of racing.

And to have Dutch winners in both races
has certainly made the fans very, very

excited. We've still got a battle on in
the championship, of course,

particularly between Dorian Pan and the
winner today, Maja Vergh. I do hope you
