For the only European event of F1
Academy in 2025, qualifying is about to

at Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Welcome
from me, Ben Edwards, as we prepare for

what is going to be a demanding session
on the edge of the North Sea.

Zandvoort is always a challenging
circuit and the weather can make life a

difficult too. We've got some dampness
on the track at the moment.

It's a challenging track, as I say, with
2 .6 miles, 4 .2 kilometres, lots of

elevation change, 14 corners and banked
corners at angles rarely seen. This

qualifying session will determine the
grid for the main race of the weekend,

offering most points, while the top
eight qualifiers will be reversed.

for the race later this afternoon.

Joining me as a winner at this circuit
in the past, Alice Powell. And Alice,

this is a track where pushing the limits
can often lead to contact with the

walls or getting stuck in the gravel.

Good morning, everyone. Yes, it
certainly can.

We've seen plenty of that over the
weekend across all support series here

including Formula 1 as well. And Chloe
Chambers, she had a slight off yesterday

in pre -practice where we did see some
mixed conditions. Some drivers did

venture out on the wet tyre.

These drivers only get two sets of wet
tyres to use for the entire weekend.

There's no intermediates, there's no
full wets. It's just one standard wet

So tricky conditions are going to be
faced with these drivers, Ben.

So we've got the session just getting
underway now, and we had a quick look at

Dorianne Pan, who leads the series at
the moment, and she's in great form.

Whether she's going to be able to
continue in that way, she is very, very

controlled. conditions are tricky like
this as you can see they are all out on

their wet tires because of the rain that
has been overnight but the sun is

coming up as you say and in some areas
it will be drying out quite quickly so

whether they will be able to switch
tires later in this session with half an

hour we shall find out well looking
there ben from that shot that beautiful

at turn three we've had no action on
circuit at all today and already there's

slight dry line now these pirelli wets
that they have in f1 academy are pretty

soft which is why we didn't see many of
the drivers take to the track on the wet

tyre yesterday, purely because it will
just chew those wets up. Some did

out on the slick tyre, but riding on
board with Ella Lloyd now, trying to

bit of space out there. It looks like
the majority of the cars, all bar

Giaconte, Mayberg, and the three Campos
racing cars have decided to stay in the

pits.

It's a slightly shorter session that we
usually get in free practice, so a

standard 30 minutes in qualifying. Also
great to see Nina Gaben back out, who of

course missed.

Free practice yesterday, just needed a
few medical checks, but she's fit and

well to race today. And she turns 22
today, so happy birthday to Nina.

Indeed, yes, absolutely right. Looking
at Esme Kosterman here, who is the

wildcard entry.

So the third Dutch driver, actually, to
be competing this weekend. It's great

that we've got three Dutch women
competing in F1 Academy here at

weekend. And I've been quite impressed
with the paces she's been doing so far

the practice sessions, actually, because
we haven't yet seen a wildcard entry.

this year take any points. But she's
been looking pretty promising.

Yeah, exactly.

We haven't. And we did see last year,
just in one of the drives, who was a

wildcard last year, Alicia Parmosky. She
took points at Qatar. We also had Nina

Gaven here last year. She did a good
job, Nina Gaven. Take points here. So

be good to see Yves Esme in the team
viewer livery, which features the faces

over 200 women, which is inspired by the
visibility drives change.

And we hear from Chloe Chong.

The bowl is completely dry, but the rest
of the track is completely wet.

Understood.

Oh, Ticonte has gone off already.

Sorry, yeah, well...

That's Ava, yeah. Yeah, it's
Anagnostiadis. Sorry, it's Anagnostiadis

off. Ava Anagnostiadis, the 18 -year
-old Australian who, unfortunately, has

gone down at turn one, presumably locked
up. Oh, that is so frustrating.

She's not going to be getting out of
there, unfortunately. So there is a

on the... Yeah, you are unfortunately
stuck, Ava. There is a puddle I just

see off of shot there that...

as you head down into Turn 1. So either
she's driven through that on the slippy

part of the track, or potentially she
has tried to come off the racing line

break off the rubber and just purely
locked up. But she's gone in backwards,

we will catch a replay as we see the
fantastic marshals go out to quickly

recover her car. So a little look in the
middle of the shot there.

Oh, it's contact between the two
teammates, actually. So that's Nicole

both racing for high -tech.

GP.

Oh, dear. That is a little bit
unfortunate, isn't it? Oh, yeah. She

that just spun around. There was nothing
she could do about that.

What happened?

Nicole just ran up and put me in the
gravel.

Oh, that is hard because they'll have to
recover that car. It can't get out of

the gravel. She won't be going back out,
I wouldn't think, in this session. Once

you've caused that red flag and Nicole
Havard will have...

For both races, a 10 -place grip penalty
in each for overtaking under the red

flag yesterday. But as expected, that
incident between...

Both Havrida and Agnostiadis as well
will be under investigation for causing

collision. So not a great start to the
session for high -tech.

No, it's not a great start.

And yeah, you almost wonder whether
there might even be another penalty for

Nicole Havrida. I mean, that was just a
little incident in a way, but she was

the one that made contact with her
teammate.

And unfortunately, that means that
Agnostiadis is definitely going to be

starting down at the back of the grid.

for the race, for both races. Remember,
it's the top eight that will be reversed

on the grid for the first race of the
weekend, which takes place this

The second race, which gets the most
points on Sunday, that, of course, will

line up as they qualify today. But
nobody's set any times yet, obviously,

because we're into a red flag period.

And this actually will give everybody a
chance to just report back to their

teams, tell them what the grid levels
are like and what they think they might

get to. Let's just have another look at
this.

From a slightly different view.

So we'll see.

Ava does move slightly left into the
path of

Havre. You can just see there. She's
locked up, though, for Havre for quite a

long time.

I think, obviously, she didn't mean to
do it at all, did Nicole Havre in the

American Express car.

So we should see what approach the
stewards take on that. So keep up to

with that by following F1 Academy
socials and on the website as well for

updates regarding that. But a short,
very short session for Ava. But the

has stopped. It always does in
qualifying, so we still have 27 minutes

seconds remaining.

Yeah, so I do feel for Ava, but let's
hope that the day goes a little better

later on. So we've got Alicia Palmoski
there, who did a very good job in the

first practice session yesterday.

Another one to keep an eye on because
she's been performing well over the

of the season so far. FT1, she's done
138 .1. We're not going to be seeing

sort of lap times in these conditions,
of course, now that they're on the wet

tyres. It was a wet qualifying last
year, wasn't it? It was a wet qualifying

last year. And plenty of drivers on the
grid did take part in that. For example,

Dorian Pan, she got the second fastest
lap time. So she was told for the second

race, Abby Pulling took over. with a 146
.746.

We had Maya Berg. She qualified fourth
in qualifying one result. Nina Gaben,

was a wildcard, did a great job. She was
sixth. Chloe Chambers was seventh,

block eight. So, 20 of drivers have had
experience of qualifying

here at Zandvoort. Well, Alicia
Talmowski has been testing here around

Zandvoort circuit, and she really has
enjoyed it. Let's hear from her.

Testing was really, really positive.

It's my first time at this track and I'm
a huge fan.

It's a really old school circuit, really
technical, very, very challenging. It's

very physically demanding on the
drivers.

There's no margin for error as well.
Walls, gravel, grass, everything going

is very, very close. So the margins
between drivers are very small as well.

expecting a tough weekend ahead, but big
fan of the track.

So Alicia Palmosky, her 10th year of
racing, amazingly. She began in 2015

she was only eight, nine years old.

But she's been impressive in F1 Academy
so far this year. And we'll just have to

see how it develops over the course
of... The last time in Montreal, things

didn't go quite so well for her. That
was one of the more disappointing

weekends. But otherwise, she's done very
well.

She has. She certainly has. And it was
an instant pack.

Three races we had at Montreal. We were
really treated to three great races.

And Alicia... It wasn't a great race
weekend overall.

Her pace was there, but just wasn't able
to put it together. There was a few

incidents as well.

Nine points overall at Montreal in all
three of those races. So she'll be

looking for a much better weekend. And
she actually dropped out of the top

in the championship as well. So she
dropped behind Ella Lloyd. So she sits

fifth. place at the moment 56 points
adrift of uh of dorian pan is at the top

the times chloe chambers giving us a
little update their track is drying

and it does here at zanvort leah block
low she's got plenty of clean air she's

been out rallying recently back in at
home in the u .s and took a podium

her her mom's full fiesta rally three
car and uh Perfect conditions for her

then, really, for Leah Block. She set
the pace early on in this session, part

the bandy body in the first sector so
far. And it's actually fun for us to be

able to ride on board with her because
it gives us a bit of a view of the

And we can start to see there are some
slightly drying areas, but there are

quite damp patches, particularly under
braking.

And you can see that she's playing with
the lines a little bit, looking for a

slightly drier line. She's not using the
normal...

dry line you would use she's looking for
the grip she exactly she is but the

question is going to be for these
drivers is when do you make the change

the slick tire you don't want to go too
early but you don't want to go too late

we've got 24 minutes of the session
remaining and with track temperatures

air temperature both exactly at 19
degrees it's going to be difficult to

generate that temperature in the slick
tyre. It's harder to warm them up when

you've got a patchy, drying circuit like
this. However, the sooner you can get

out on that slick tyre, it gives you
more chance to when the track is much

towards the end of the session.

It's going to be interesting to see who
makes the jump, who takes the gamble to

potentially go to the slick tyre to
possibly have the best tyre come the end

the session. But Nobles has jumped Lear
Block. They're a couple of seconds off

the pace of what was being set last
year.

Ella Lloyd, I was just about to say,
these are her ideal conditions. She

driving in the wet. Again, a driver with
rally experience.

Just runs slightly wide as she heads
through into Turn 11.

She's the part of anyone in the first
two sectors at the moment.

Yeah, this could be a very good lap by
Ella Lloyd. And she did extremely well

here in the British GP4 when they were
racing here at Zandvoort a couple of

months ago. So she knows this track very
well now and has had some good

experience being a podium finisher.

British F4 so let's just see she goes
across the line so she's second fastest

Maya Verg actually sets the pace 148 .3
Lloyd does a 148 .7 it's all pretty

close and Tina Houseman now you're
looking at her number 78 she's now

into second place

We've got a car off, I think.

Yeah, somebody ran wide at turn one, got
back on again.

That's not surprising. It's still tricky
conditions out there. And we are some

way away. We're about 10 seconds away
from what they were doing in the drive.

Yeah, so it's a big change for the
drivers.

Again, they're just going to have to
see. You can see.

Listen. A lap ago, this was looking very
different. You can see how quickly.

That sun is pretty strong. We've got a
little bit of a breeze out there as

a strong breeze, actually, which is
going to help the track drive even

But there is pretty much a dry line all
the way around there through into Turn

9. She'll bleed over to the right -hand
side. This is Turn 10 now. But you can

just see the car still snaking around.
However, it can be a little bit

at times.

When you do have a wet tyre that meets a
dry part of the circuit, obviously it

gets quite hot on the surface of the wet
tyre. And then it's moving on the

blocks then, essentially.

You can see Maya was just desperately
trying to find a bit of wet track there.

So someone's going to make the decision
soon. I can feel it's going to happen

quite quickly. And already she's not
setting personal bets in that middle

sector. So is this potentially then
going to be the start of the crossover?

a bit of a snap of oversteer there.

It's impressive to watch, though, riding
on board with Maia Verg, who, of

course, was the championship leader
until Montreal was an absolutely

weekend for her. Let's just see. So she
does a 1 .48 .053, a little bit quicker,

but we're still not quite down to the
sort of dry weather that they'll need to

put the slicks on. But Maia Verg, we
need to keep an eye on her. She's third

the championship now, having lost out in
Canada.

There you see, going down is Chloe
Chambers, who has had the... Pole

last three events, the main pole
positions.

And she obviously ran a bit late into
turn one. She's not the only one. Nina

Gaidman did it as well. Yeah, Nina just
going wide. They have to take that

escape road that you can see all drivers
there. You can't take the shortcut, not

that you want to, through the gravel.
Susie Wolfe watches on. Keane Eye, of

course, across all the drivers.

Great support for all the girls that are
out there racing. So Nina's on a lap

now, comes across the line.

She would, of course, have been off, so
that first sector would have been quite

a bit off the pace. But just looking at
the timing screens, there's no one

really, particularly in the top six,
that are setting personal bets.

mean that these wet tyres are just not
agreeing with the track surface at the

moment. It's still quite slippy at this
part of the circuit.

Yeah. But then you head into the bowl
where Chloe Chong said it was drying

quickly, and you can see that they have
a dry line all the way across at the

top. Yeah, well, just on the exit, it's
like dampness. But you're absolutely

right, because it's fascinating looking
at where there are some drier areas and

wetter areas. Is anybody going to take
the risk to put on some slicks before

end of this session? We have just under
20 minutes to go. in qualifying here for

F1 Academy.

And these young women who are trying to
prove their abilities in slippery

conditions as well.

This is going to be fun to see how this
goes. Now, we're on board with the

series leader, Dorianne Pan.

And she is setting fastest sectors, as
you can see. Sector 1 and Sector 2.

got a bit of traffic up ahead.

Oh. Interesting.

People are going to start switching.

Here we go. So the ARTs, both ARTs of
Aurier Nobles and Leah Block are in the

pit. Dorian Pan is the only person out
on track that looks like they're going

string a lap together that's going to
really boost her much further up the

order. This is looking like, if this
last set is good, she's going to jump

to the top of times. Yeah, just over.

Two and a half tenths quicker.

Emma Felbermayer has improved.

Nina Gaidman is going to improve as
well. Giaconte further down the field

improved. So everyone's going to be
having a little look when eventually

and Block do come out of pit lane.
They're going to be seeing how they're

to be getting on looking as well.
Courtney Crone is now in the pits. Nina,

job from her up into third place.

It just shows you how the track is
improving now because the lap times are

jumping up a little bit more and we're
definitely under 10 seconds.

below what they should, well, around 10
seconds, Bill. But when they put the

slicks on, there is every chance. I
think they're making the right decision

here. You've got to go for it because it
is drying out quite nicely.

Let's have a look. Alba last, number 12,
you're looking at there.

Yeah, she heads down, oh, down on a turn
one. And there's our wild card entry as

well, Esme Kosterman, who has also gone
deep. But that was partly because I

think the car went off in front of her.
And Ella Lloyd, ooh, through the gravel.

Did she got it out of the gravel? Yes,
she did.

My goodness, you've got to keep going
when you're in the gravel, otherwise you

just get stuck. She dealt with that
quite well. She put a few gravel stones

the road.

Yeah, so she's managed to get back on
track. So nobody else.

Dorian plans on a cool lap.

Myberg's on a push lap. Laurie Chong's
on a push lap.

I think the tyres are starting to get
chewed up.

OK, do you think it's safe to gamble for
slick?

I think it's still wet still.

It's an interesting one. I mean, you
were saying earlier how the Pirelli wet

tyres are quite a soft wet tyre. And
that's sort of what they're talking

And that's clearly what Chloe's talking
about there. The tyres are not at their

best because they have a limited number
of tyres to use over the weekend. And,

of course, the possibility of more rain
for both races coming up over the

weekend. They have to look after them.
They certainly do. So Alba Larson has

improved.

Lap time there. So we're seeing a few
drivers go into it. So there's Courtney

Crone. She's bogged on the set of
flicks. Now, some of the drivers are

to see whether they're deciding they're
going to change to slicks. Dorian Pan's

one of those who's in the pits at the
moment. Tina House and Maya Verg.

So Block is on slicks now.

Yeah.

And you just need to survive the first
two, three laps when you go out on a

track like this. You can hear the
wheelspin there.

Interesting to see if the likes of Pan
and Maia Verg are going to take the

gamble or they're just going to bleed
the pressures down.

Obviously, the pressures and the wets
would have jumped quite high.

And whether they're going to maybe take
the gamble or they're going to bleed the

wets down and come back out. They're all
going to be keeping a very keen eye on

the lap times of the likes of Block,
Nobles.

And, of course, we've seen Courtney
Crone, who's going out there as well.

is quite snappy let's have a look that's
emma felbermeyer and that is slick

tires being bolted on to her car there
ben yeah this is going to be really

interesting to see how the slick tires
do work and where you can find the grip.

And you may well need to use a slightly
different line to make sure that you're

staying onto the drier part. But for
somebody like Leah Block, as you say,

her rallying experience, it really is
something she's going to have a go at.

She's got great car control, of course,
from that rally experience.

But Dorianne Pan is also now going onto
the slick tyres as well. See whether she

can continue her championship lead.
She's got that lead of...

20 points over Chloe Chambers, and is in
a very strong position at this stage.

There we are, looking at Leah. She'll
start to pick up the pace a little bit

more on this next lap.

She will, and we just saw, flashing up
at the top of the screen, Ella Lloyd

under investigation for not following...

The race direction instructions and the
instructions we already spoke about were

you have to go straight on, but she was
quite far around the corner when she got

that snap of oversteer, so we'll see how
they deal with that. But the advantage

with Block being out so early on is
she's just getting temperature into the

slick tyres.

She's going to get a good feel because,
as I said, look, you can't do any

weaving there because if you do, it's so
wet down that straight.

That's going to be so easy to give you a
kick of overdoing. You can see fighting

the car all the way around.

So she'll still be bleeding up to
temperatures. You're going to have to

navigate. There's that Esme in the team
viewer car just in front.

Let's have a look from riding on board
with Lea Bloch. It's a bit tricky when

you've got to deal with some traffic as
well because you're trying to find that

dry line. And if the traffic's on the
dry line, then you're in a bit of

particularly when you're on the slits.
Let's watch.

Listen to her.

On the throttle there, more smooth.
You've got to be a little more cautious

the throttle, haven't you? You have.

So this is definitely 100 % the right
decision to go on these tyres. So let's

have a look. She's done a 40 .4 in the
first sector.

And for reference, Dorian Pandit, a 37
.196.

So still three seconds off at the
moment. But that's just going to

it's just going to get better.

of this session left as we've got 20 of
drivers coming out the pits now all

three crema cars are on their way out
and uh nobles is coming out as well

is another driver that's that's coming
out all will be uh as i said keeping an

eye on the the times with leo block and
of course they've got no delta on their

steering wheel like they do in
categories further up they've got no

pressure sensors on these cars either
it's just all doing it through the seat

your pants bent and also through the
feel that you get through the steering

wheel the middle sector okay in fact
yeah as you say the the middle sector

very similar to what everyone else has
been doing on the wex and as she goes

across the line OK, so she's done a 1
.52 .7, so that's a bit off. This is the

trickiest bit, yeah. And I was just
thinking that because when I was looking

the view... Oh, well done. She's gone
around the escape route. I wonder if she

was going to go too far in. But that is
probably the most difficult part because

it is very wet down there. It's got the
shade from the sun. It hasn't been able

to dry up. And that braking area, I
think, is one of the most difficult

The rest of the track is beginning to
dry up a bit more. Yes, it is.

Do remember, though, that we've got top
eight reversed for the race later on

today. That's true, because she's
eighth. Yeah, so she's actually in

course, you're not aiming to qualify
eighth. You want to be as far up as

possible. You just see she just probably
drifted back over to the original dry

line. What would it be if it was bone
dry? And that puddle that is starting to

quite quickly disappear on track. She
just snagged a front left on that. But

race won later. It will be at five past
five.

Local time and that will be our reverse
grid race top eight reversed

24 -year -old American Courtney Crone
we're watching now, also on the slick

tyres as we start to see whether anybody
is going to be putting the pace

together a little bit more on these
laps. It is getting a bit quicker now on

slicks, but nobody as yet is improving
hugely. There are some mid -sectors that

people are doing some personal bests,
and actually 38th in that first sector.

That is now looking more promising. Ah,
yeah, and you just spotted somebody's

got a fastest middle sector.

Yeah, so Leah Block has found a...

Heaps of time in that middle sector.

Nobles has gone faster in the last
sector.

So this order, 100%, ladies and gents,
is definitely going to be changing in

next five minutes or so because the
track is coming to the drivers, the

temperature of the tyres, the slick
tyres are coming to them as well.

Crone, not yet to set any personal best.

She'll cut the beam as she goes through
sector two and she's fastest of anybody.

We do have a yellow flag in the first
and second sector. It's funny, I was

thinking about that. We've got 11 and a
half minutes to go, and the timing is

working well. Oh, that's good. It's gone
clear. What the worry is, if somebody

crashes with five minutes to go, and
then the session gets cancelled... I

no commentators curse. Yeah, well, let's
see what happens, because that is the

thing. And it's good that most cars, I
think, now are out on slick tyres. It's

going to be quite busy out on track.

Let's see what Courtney Cronin does,
because she's done the fastest middle

sector now. How far does she bounce up
the order? Yeah, up into third place.

148 .4.

We would expect them to be getting down
into the mid -145s, I would think,

fairly quickly.

Still, the trickiest part of the track
definitely looks like going into Turn 1,

where it's just under the shade from the
pit buildings there. The sun's not

quite on it, so that's going to take the
longest to dry.

Alicia Palm obviously down in 12th, but
I don't think she's going to be down in

12th for very long. I'm expecting she's
going to fire herself up to the top of

the times.

You can just see how quickly this final
corner of Turn 14 now is drying with

that sun beaming down. The temperatures
aren't rising, though. Air and track

temperature still the same.

Alicia, though, up to the top of the
times issue. Nobles takes it for a

and then straight up to the top. Still a
good chunk away from the times that

we've been seeing in the dry and pre
-practice. And we've got a yellow flag

the first sector. I'm guessing that's
someone that's just ran slightly wide. I

think so, because we've got a green
flag. and Alois just moved up to fifth

almost the currently fastest.

Ah, now let's have a look. It looks like
it's Tina Hausman who has run deep into

turn one yet. And offensively, that was
a good move. Go to the escape road.

Don't go through the gravel.

Yes, you don't get the next lap.

Oh, and Rafaela Ferreira. Oh, my
goodness. That was lucky. I don't think

damaged it. She just touched the edge,
but I don't think she damaged it. And

Joanne Chiconte. Yeah, another lock -up
down into turn one.

Understandable. Plenty of people doing
that.

Well, there's a lot going on here, but
we've got some faster factors coming up

again now. We're going to be seeing, I
think, some more improvements. Oh,

Hausmann hits the wall.

She kept it going.

But, yeah, let's have another look at
this.

Oh, we have a red flag.

It's not the first Aston Martin that
we've seen.

into the barriers at turn three. Lance
Stroll, of course, yesterday.

Aurelia Nobles is off in the gravel. Now
that needs a recovery.

Now the times do stop. So we've got nine
minutes, just over nine minutes still

to go.

And when they go back out after this red
flag, there should be time. But it just

depends if anyone else goes off. At the
moment, it is all looking good for Leah

Block. She did a very good job coming
out on the... Oh, yes, Palmoski's time.

Has that been... Yeah, I'm sorry. We
were just looking at the timing screen

we've got here in the commentary box.
Alicia Palmoski's had her...

Her lap time taken away.

We're being told it's for track limits
at turn three.

So she's maybe gone too high in turn
three. So she's now back down into

14th place. It's Leah Block that heads
the timing.

Is Aurelia Nobel going off?

No.

That's frustrating for her. So that's
down at turn seven. The fast right

before you go into turn eight.

And there's no escape road really there,
is there? Once you're into the gravel

there, there's no choice. And that is a
great shame for Aurelia Noble. She's

shone a few times this year, but every
now and then when it comes to the races,

it's been a bit tricky for her.

I do feel for her that is a tough one
because she had qualified well in Miami

and of course then missed out on a
second race in Miami. We had that

rain.

Montreal didn't go quite so well. You
get ninth in the first race, but a non

-finish in the final race.

Well, let's find out. The red flag, of
course, bringing all of the cars in.

Leopold is currently fastest from Emma
Felbermayer, who you're looking at right

now, heading back into the pit.

Dorian Pound, the series leader, you've
apparently heard. Maya Virg, who was

series leader earlier on in the season,
she's fourth fastest. Ella Lloyd, who is

very competitive here at Zandvoort
already, as we've seen this year. And

impressively, Esme Kosterman is up there
in sixth place, the wildcard entry.

She's doing well so far, but as you
said, I think we could see a lot more

changes once this gets going.

Exactly, and actually, Ella Lloyd had
set the fastest.

First sector by the four tenths of a
second before that red flag came out and

stopped the session. Chloe Chambers, she
didn't really set a lap time, I don't

think, on the slick tyre.

Of course, now they're all parked in the
shade.

They've all gone back and there's
adjustment. What can I see there of rear

on the back of...

Chloe Chambers' car, but the pressure of
the slick tyres is going to drop.

They've stopped in the pit lanes soaking
wet. So they've stopped in a wet pit

lane. So the tyre pressures are going to
drop.

great job by the Campos team to get that

lap behind everybody else, though. Yeah,

I was just thinking it might be an
advantage to get out before you're in

group because I think some of these
quick drivers are going to get held up

because they've all gone out together.

You almost need to go out in a clear
space in conditions like this. But, as

say, you've got to get out in time.

Dorian Pan's got herself actually in
front of those two cars. Hopefully she's

now got a bit of clear space.

This is an important one. She's third
fastest at the moment. She was quickest

one stage in this session. Leah Block
currently fastest from Selbermaier.

Pan currently third. Maya Berg, who is
one of the three Dutch drivers and with

MT team, which is a Dutch team as well.
It's going to be interesting to see how

MT Motorsport get on in their home event
with Maya Berg.

who is desperate to get some key points
to try and challenge for the title again

against Dorianne Pound, but she is back
down in third place with Chloe Chambers

in between.

Chambers hasn't done anything special
yet in this session. She's down in 11th,

but again, I think you'll see her moving
up that order.

Yeah, you certainly will.

Parmovsky, she's on an outlap, but she's
already set the fastest middle sector.

Right. And she's on an outlap. Leah
Block, though, is the first to cut the

sector one beam, and she is fearful of
anyone, but that's quickly taken away.

So Dorian Pant, we can't keep up with
our time screen. It keeps changing. So

this is going to change quite quickly,
this order, Dorian Pant, as of anybody

ride on board with her. This is through

this interior section now of Zandvoort.

These longer corners where you've got to
just control the throttle a little bit

even quicker into the 41s now.

And what about Maya Virg? She does a 41,
but it's a 41 .9.

I think we might get in the 30s before
the end of this session. So 41 .6.

Ella Lloyd, that's very impressive.
You're now riding with Chloe Chambers,

has taken more poles than anybody else
so far this year.

Is she now going to be able to jump up
the order, down in 13th place currently?

Ella Lloyd, the one to try and beat. But
is she going to get quite up to that

level? Let's just see as she comes over.
Yes, she does. A 1 .41 .5.

Watch out for Emma Feldmeier. She's just
popped up into fourth place.

Palmoski is going to be one of the final
ones across the line. A lock -up from

Emma Feldmeier. Fastest of anybody in
that middle sector. Not a real strong

first sector, which has let her down a
little bit. But at the moment, on a

charge, is Meyerberg, who really needs a
strong weekend to keep her championship

hopes alive.

She had a real tough time in Montreal,
not even competing in one of the races

with technical issues.

So we wait.

Yep, absolutely.

Chambers is Chloe Chambers, the pole

improvements? What does Lloyd do? Yeah,

Let's watch out for Maia Berg. Oh, she's
had a really slow middle set. She was

very strong in the first.

Emma Felbermayer, though, is looking
very strong. And there we go, in the

and middle sector. So we'll keep an eye
on her. She's got a nice, clean turn 13.

Then it's easy flat for these cars
through the bank, through the bank to

She's got a good carrot to chase, in a
way.

She's got Chloe Chambers in front of her
as well, who just popped to the top.

And Emma fell by half a second quicker
than anybody else out there at the

moment. Really enjoying driving in these
conditions, clearly.

The Austrian 18 -year -old who has
really delivered extremely well. And

done a good job in quite a few events.
She's had a win this year.

She's currently ninth in the
championship.

And she has qualified quite well,
although she's been frustrated. She's

on pole a couple of times because she
was eighth fastest. But right now, she

been quicker than that. She's been third
fastest. But could this be her first

pole position of the year? We'll find
out. Another incident being looked at.

Have a look at the first sector, and
she's four tenths of a second off the

fastest first sector of Maya Virg. So
it's not going to be, unless she has an

absolute mighty middle and last sector,
it's not going to be pole position for

Dorian Pan. Let's have a look, though,
as we watch Leah Block come across the

line. Is it enough to go up to pole
position?

fourth. But Maya Virg, as you say, is on

target at the moment.

Yeah, that's a bit like the very first
