up to some mischief.

of treasure buried at Monks Wood.

A King's treasure.

In old English, rood, R-O-O-D,
was the word for a cross.

- The Holy Rood.

(clock ticks)

- Exactly, that's the secret hiding place.

- [Armstrong] Now, that's
the old treasure hut.

- [Doctor] Precisely.

- [Armstrong] Right...

- [Doctor] Where do
you think you're going?

(dramatic music)

It must move easily.

- Yes, there's a mixture
of an Aeolian harp,

pan-pipes, and these bells.

When the wind blows through it,

it makes that unearthly sound.

- Poor old Jessop.

All this effort, for nothing.

- (chuckles) It seems he
knew that Mr. Armstrong

was planning developments around here,

and wanted one last look for the treasure,

before it was too late.

- But, he didn't find anything.

- Unfortunately, no. If
there was any treasure,

it was dug up hundreds
of years ago. (chuckles)

The irony of it is, he was using

the treasure chamber as a hide-away,

and never realised it.

- [Amy] Tea's ready.

- If you don't come soon,
there won't be any left.

- Ah, that looks lovely.

- It's so charming here.

I do hope Mr. Armstrong's
not gonna pull it down.

- Well, he might change his mind,

now that the ghost has been
laid to rest. (chuckles)

- Thanks to Beauty!

(horse nickers)

- Here you are, Beauty.

(horse whickers)

Yeah, here you are.
