Rou.

He's badly injured by me.

He will be living on borrowed time.

What's the story about that guy?

I'm talking about his arm.

His arm?

I guess that's not his arm.

It's evilly powerful. I saw it for the first time.

Yang Qianhuan, do you have eyes in your back?

I peeked before he left.

Can you turn around and speak?

You were not like this.

I cannot face you.

I do things as I please.

I don't care what you think of me.

I've carefully observed Wei Yuan and Jian Zheng.

Haven't you noticed?

What do you mean?

One of them stood on the watchtower with his back to you.

The other sat on the platform with his back to us.

And we all think

both Wei Yuan and Jian Zheng possess the demeanor of a master.

Get to the point, please.

Based on the information we have now,

that man's arm must be the sealed item from Sangbo.

Exactly, the man in the grey robe is Heng Hui.

As long as we can catch him, we'll find Princess Pingyang.

The Sangbo case just happened a few days ago.

Yet you've investigated the case so thoroughly.

Wait, how come I haven't heard about it

from my fellow apprentices of the Bureau of Astronomy?

Haven't you sought their assistance?

I don't think you're capable of handling cases.

We didn't even dispatch Gold Gongs.

An ordinary Bronze Gong has been working on this case.

A Bronze Gong?

Who is it?

You should have heard of him.

He's famous in the Bureau of Astronomy, named Xu Qi'an.

Xu Qi'an?

I heard of him when I returned to the Bureau of Astronomy.

He's an alchemy prodigy.

I never expected that he would handle the Sangbo case.

Isn't this giving him another chance to stand out?

He's a formidable opponent.

What's the deal with that man's arm?

I don't know. I'm not interested in strange power.

It's not worth paying attention to it.

Listen.

I should take credit for today's battle.

He's been away for several months, and his illness has got increasingly worse.

Should we find him another physician?

Leave him be. Let him die of the illness.

Heng Yuan, I am seriously injured.

My broken arm hurt me.

Heng Hui, it's not too late to stop.

Heng Yuan.

Since I joined the Qinglong Hall at six,

I've always been following you.

You taught me to read scriptures and meditate.

You took care of my daily life.

You treated me like a family.

And now,

I need

a favor.

I want…

I want

to eat you.

I'm eating you.

[Guardian]

Mr. Wei.

What are you laughing at?

No, I'm not laughing.

When we were fighting last night, where were you?

As a Gold Gong, your techniques

have incredibly reached the pinnacle.

I'm just a Bronze Gong.

I can do nothing and drag you down.

You are just a coward.

- No. - Enough.

Last night, Heng Hui appeared at Zhang Feng's residence.

So, they…

They were injured by Heng Hui.

Last night, the yamen set a trap at the houses of the Minister of Defense and Chief Minister.

Three Gold Gongs

and one fourth-rank disciple of Jian Zheng

failed to capture Heng Hui.

Did anyone find anything?

A broken arm.

I knew it.

Mr. Wei, what rank was the owner of this broken arm?

At least second rank, most likely first rank.

What's the deal with that broken arm?

Is it related to the Heaven Domain?

This matter involves a secret.

I do not know the specifics.

The only thing I know now is

that Heng Hui has been seriously injured and is currently still in the city.

I've already reported the situation to the His Majesty.

Continue the city-wide search.

You continue with your investigation.

Yes, where is Zhang Feng now?

He is under house arrest in his residence under the guise of protection.

I will investigate immediately.

Wait.

Zhang Feng holds a second-rank position. Watch your manner.

Officials of the fourth rank and above can't be subjected to the Qi Observation Technique.

That is the rule.

Yes.

However, a warlock can help you.

Understood. Then Caiwei will go with me.

No need.

A stronger warlock has been waiting for you at the yamen all night.

Waiting for me?

Xu Qi'an, an alchemy prodigy.

I just know some little tricks.

When it comes to alchemy, the Bureau of Astronomy leads the world.

Quite discerning.

May I ask who you are?

I'm Yang Qianhuan, the most outstanding warlock

of the Bureau of Astronomy.

I'm sure you've heard of me.

[Huan] Huan.

[Qian] Qian.

[Yang] Yang.

It's Yang Qianhuan, my fellow apprentice.

He's the only Formation Master in Dafeng.

Mr. Yang, a fourth-rank Formation Master.

I've heard a lot about you.

Nice to meet you.

Mr. Yang, why are you showing your back to me?

It makes me look like an expert.

What do you think?

I think you're a freak.

Mr. Yang, you are right.

What can I do for you?

Catch!

This is…

My book of achievements. [Book of Achievements]

Yesterday, I helped the Guardians fight a bad man.

That man has a strong arm

with evil energy. [The name of Yang Qianhuan remains undiscovered]

Three Gold Gongs are no match for him.

Fortunately, I took action in the end.

With killing techniques, I turned the tide,

won a victory, and repelled the enemy.

Based on this, I should take credit for it.

I've written the details of this battle.

You can read it.

Just report it to the world truthfully.

Just report it to the world truthfully.

Are you done?

Mr. Yang, why don't you talk to Mr. Wei directly?

I am just a Bronze Gong.

I've talked to Wei Yuan. I can't believe him.

He said you're in charge of the Sangbo case.

Anything must be reviewed by you before it can be announced.

Mr. Wei has slyly put it on me.

Rest assured, Mr. Yang, once I've solved this case,

I will proclaim the truth to the world.

That's good. It's worth waiting for you all night.

I'm leaving you alone and going back to sleep.

Mr. Yang, don't leave.

There's something else?

It's nothing serious.

I just suddenly thought of a poem.

It fits your temperament very well.

I can hold the sun and moon and reach for the stars.

None in this world compares to me.

Wild,

lonely, and invincible.

Great poem.

I came across this verse earlier.

But I've never seen anyone who matches it until today when I met you.

I have an idea. If you like,

I'll present this poem to you as a gift.

Very clever of you.

Since you're sincerely offering it,

I won't refuse.

Let me feel it once more.

I can hold the sun and moon and reach for the stars.

None in this world compares to me.

I can hold the sun and moon and reach for the stars.

None in this world compares to me.

I can hold the sun and moon and reach for the stars.

None in this world compares to me.

I can hold the sun and moon and reach for the stars.

None in this world compares to me.

Good poem, indeed.

But I always feel like something's missing.

Your handsome face

Mr. Yang. Since you've accumulated many merits,

I wonder if you'd mind having one more.

If you have a way, tell me right now.

Here's the thing. I need to interrogate Zhang Feng at his house.

Just so happens I need a skilled warlock like you

to help me discern the truth.

The Guardians can't do anything without the Bureau of Astronomy, can you?

Anyway, I'm in a good mood today.

So I'll do you a favor.

Fine, I'll prepare the carriage. Please wait a moment.

No need...

Close your eyes and lower your head.

I can hold the sun and moon and reach for the stars.

None in this world compares to me.

Found it. That's it.

Mr. Yang, this is…

Who are you? How dare you break in!

I'm in charge of the Sangbo case. I'm here…

Disappear.

Disappear again.

Mr. Yang, this…

Don't worry.

I've set up a formation To transfer them to a quiet place.

How audacious. What are you doing here?

Who are you? How dare you break in without permission.

I'm in charge of the Sangbo case.

Go--

Don't do it again.

Go what?

Go in and talk.

Sorry to bother you. Please forgive me.

You're young and promising.

I hear you've handled the Sangbo case well

and identified the real culprit in Earl Pingyuan's family annihilation case.

Mr. Zhang, you flatter me.

No need for pleasantries.

Ask what you need to ask.

I'm here to get information from you to solve the case quickly.

Mr. Xu, be serious. The case is being investigated by Guardians.

Naturally, you know the case better than me.

Do I have any clues for you?

Mr. Yang...

During the questioning just now, was he being honest?

Not at all.

He's very cunning.

If there's nothing else, I'll return to the Bureau of Astronomy.

Alright, thank you very much.

Sure. See…

Mr. Yang, are you alright?

I'm good. No worries.

I've found Heng Yuan.

What happened?

You're too late.

He is already dead.

He's dead?

Between me and death, he chose the latter.

The evil arm took his life.

I'm eating you.

No, don't kill him.

Heng Yuan is a martial monk

with vigorous vitality

to heal your injuries.

Come on.

You don't want revenge anymore?

No, he is my fellow apprentice.

No, don't kill him.

You once told me

that as long as I avenged you,

all the people in this world could be killed.

Why?

He must not be killed.

He is my fellow apprentice.

He is the person I respect most in this world.

Well,

what about Pingyang?

Pingyang.

Pingyang.

Heng Hui.

Heng Hui.

All the people in this world can be killed.

But Heng Yuan must not be killed.

Heng Hui.

Heng Yuan.

You've always wanted to know

what exactly happened

one year ago, right?

After that, the demon was gone.

I stayed and waited for you all.

Do you have something to say?

Heng Hui left, but he didn't give up on revenge.

He asked me to help him with it.

I would like to tell you all a story.

It took place one year ago.

It's the story of Heng Hui and Princess Pingyang?

One year ago...

Heng Hui first met Princess Pingyang at Qinglong Hall.

In Heng Hui, Pingyang saw the freedom she had longed for.

To evade the marriage arrangement,

they decided to leave the Capital City as soon as possible.

[Prince Yu Mansion]

To successfully leave the capital,

they needed a magic tool that could shield their traces

to evade the pursuit of the Bureau of Astronomy.

Furthermore, they also need new household registrations

as well as a channel to successfully leave the Capital City.

So, Princess Pingyang asked a trustworthy friend for help,

the legitimate son of Earl Pingyuan.

At that time, Earl Pingyuan and the nobles had long been estranged.

After learning of this through his son, Earl Pingyuan conspired with Zhang Feng

Earl Pingyuan conspired with Zhang Feng

and devised a plan to send Princess Pingyang away from the city

to strike against Prince Yu.

Where is Princess Pingyang now?

Has Earl Pingyuan forged a new identity for her?

[Wang Heng, male, Jianzhou, Ms. Zhang] Princess Pingyang is innocent.

She didn't know about politics.

Nor did she know the wickedness of humans.

A girl with little worldly experience.

A wanderer who has lived outside the world for a long time.

The moment they decided to leave together, tragedy was already destined.

Some people are malicious.

After leaving the Capital City,

they revealed their true colors, intending to insult Princess Pingyang.

Pingyang and Heng Hui fought back.

Ultimately, Heng Hui was killed

and Pingyang committed suicide with a hairpin.

Princess Pingyang is dead?

They?

Except for the legitimate son of Earl Pingyuan,

who else was there?

The other one was Zhang Yi, the son of Zhang Feng, Minister of Defence.

No, don't.

Stop!

Heng Hui.

Heng Hui.

Since Heng Hui died a year ago,

why did he appear here?

The dead cannot come back to life.

Someone used a secret method to seal Heng Hui's soul within his body,

making him a walking corpse without consciousness.

This year, what sustained him was revenge.

It's the revenge for Princess Pingyang.

Who saved him?

What exactly is the purpose behind this?

I have no idea.

In Heng Hui's memory, the related part is very blurry.

He only knew a person used his body to send evil energy to an arm.

Corpse Puppetry, the secret of the Wizard Cult.

It seems that Heng Hui is a vessel.

The person behind it used the Corpse Puppet to weaken the evil energy

so he could utilize the evil arm.

That's your word. Do you have evidence for what you just said?

If you do not believe, take the body back

and let the coroner examine it.

Gently.

Found it.

[Just as expected, Heng Hui]

[Wizard Cult's secret]

Mr. Wei, Princess Lin'an has arrived.

Xu Qi'an.

You take Princess Lin'an to the morgue.

Yes.

[Wizard Cult]

Your Highness.

Your Highness.

We haven't confirmed the identity of this body yet.

Perhaps she is not Princess Pingyang.

♫ My thin clothes took away ♫

♫ A bit of warmth by my side ♫

♫ Who will accompany me ♫

This is her.

♫ Casting down my eyes, I sigh alone ♫

♫ Dreams drag on, and yet they break ♫

♫ Fortunately, you came like the wind ♫

♫ Stopping me from frowning ♫

♫ Joy and sorrow never intertwine ♫

♫ Flowers fall from above ♫

♫ I dedicate my life to you ♫

Lin'an, I don't want to live in a cage.

Once I reach the South,

I will write to you.

♫ Fully aware of the world's misery and cold ♫

♫ Only wish to grant you peace ♫

♫ Joy and sorrow never intertwine ♫

♫ Flowers fall from above ♫

You wait for me.

I will come back to see you.

♫ To bloom forth ♫

Cover it up.

Your Highness, Princess Lin'an is devastated with grief and rage.

She has recognized Princess Pingyang.

Additionally, Princess Consort Yu has set out for the morgue.

Got it. Leave now.

Your Highness, this matter is huge.

It could lead to changes. Should we--

- Leave! - Yes.

Didn't you love to hang out?

Didn't you love to make trouble?

What are you doing now?

Get up right now!

Why are you so quiet now?

I almost forgot.

I got you new pomegranates.

Aren't pomegranates your favorite?

Let me peel one for you. It's sweet.

It is very sweet.

Pingyang, you should try it.

They are new pomegranates.

Get up and eat.

Aren't pomegranates your favorite?

Why aren't you eating?

It's sweet, Pingyang.

From now on, I will be with you.

I will take you home.

Shall we go home?

Pingyang, let's go home.

Who killed her?

Who killed her?

The legitimate son of Earl Pingyuan

and Zhang Yi, the son of the Minister of Defence.

She was insulted?

She took her own life with a hairpin.

Thank you.

[Blood Statement of Grievances]

Okay, we shall do as you suggest.

- Go ahead. - Yes.

How is the investigation of the Sangbo case going?

Why didn't Wei Yuan come today?

Your Majesty, Princess Lin'an is here.

Lin'an? What is she doing here?

- Tell her to go back. - Yes.

What are you doing here?

I have something to report.

I have a grievance to state.

I earnestly request a judgment.

Come in.

An innocent lady was murdered

Her family grieved. She cried for justice.

The evidence is overwhelming.

I've written grievances with my blood.

Please show justice.
