The reverse grid F1 academy race at

Xanfort took place on a dry track after

damp qualifying. Nina Ga led from pole

but Khloe Chambers ran wide after a

little contact with Dorian Pan and Pan

also saw Tina Houseman run wide. She

suffered her first DNF of the year.

Dorian Pan came under pressure losing

places to Ella Lloyd and later to Maya

Berg moving up from eighth on the grid.

A radiant Nobles was also making some

good moves from 17th to finish ninth.

Celebrations for Ferrari backing Maya

Ver finishing third and birthday home

race winner Nina Gateman winning her

first race in the series and for Alpine

as well getting a victory once again.

Well, we're all set for the second race

of the weekend. Now we're at 2/3 of the

way through the season and we are at

Zambort in Netherlands. Welcome from me,

Ben Edwards, as we look forward to the

main race, scoring maximum points. 25

for the win around this seaside looping

and angling circuit with history going

back into the 1950s. Rain earlier this

morning, which dried off could make it a

little bit more challenging once again.

A bit like qualifying yesterday, which

saw the drivers go out on wets and then

put slicks on to get their best lap

times done as quickly as possible. And

it is a little bit of a challenge.

Alongside me is Alice Pal who won the W

series race here in 2021 from second on

the grid. Alice, we could be on for

another rather unpredictable event.

We certainly could, but Maya Berg has

got the best starting position. She

looks pumped and ready to go. As we were

touching on just then, Ben, when we

first came into the commentary box, we

were looking out onto the circuit and we

were thinking, wow, what tires would you

choose? But it's quite quickly dried up.

But that right hand side of the grid

from driver's point of view has got a

few wet patches on it still. So it's

going to be tricky for that side of the

grid. Alicia Paloski heads that side of

the grid. Then behind her will be Chloe.

Directly behind will be Khloe Chambers

from Leah Block who of course got her

first podium. And there's a perfect shot

of it there. A few wet patches. It is a

little bit damp but in places on the

left hand side of the grid, but

naturally uh the way it is here in

Zanville that dries much quicker.

Absolutely. Well, we shall see how this

works. This is going to be challenging.

We had a Dutch winner yesterday. We've

got a Dutch racer on pole position.

Let's start down at the back of the

grid. We have Ava Anosardis and Aurelia

Nobles who didn't set times in

qualifying, but Aelia did get up to

ninth yesterday. That was impressive.

Nicl Hava, she starts from 16th place.

She got up to 10th yesterday. Joan

Shikonte, uh, she's the youngest, of

course, and the second youngest, Alberta

Larson, she's 14th on the grid and

Courtney Cone is 13. Then Khloe Chong

not having a great weekend so far,

having had a fifth place in Montreal

last time. Raphaela Ferrer starts in

11th place. Into the top 10 then. And

Emma Felber, the Austrian racer, she

starts 10th. And the wild card, Esme

Costermanman starts in ninth place. Nina

Gman, the winner yesterday, she starts

in eighth now that we're not at reverse

grid. Tina Houseman, who went off, she

starts in seventh. Leah Blanc had a

fantastic second place finish yesterday,

starting sixth today. And there's our

series leader, Dorian Pan, starting in

fifth position. Khloe Chambers starts in

fourth, a challenger for the title. Ella

Lloyd starting in third place. And then

onto the front row, we have Alicia

Palmoski. And as we mentioned, Maya Berg

doing a fantastic job yesterday going

from eighth to third, challenging Leah

Block right at the end, but getting some

very useful points. But today is the day

to get the most points because we are

into the main Formula 1 points. 25 for

the win all the way down to 10th place

for one.

We are. And uh it was bright skies, but

you could just see from the fantastic

helicam shot we got there, there is some

rain. And looking at our timing screens

with the weather, there was some

potential rain coming in to Zanvort.

Whether that's going to be

in the next 30 minutes or so. We'll have

to check that out. But it looks like

there's a few uh mechanics running back

Nina Ga surrounding Nina Ga's car. So I

don't know whether she's got some kind

of issue. No, she's all good now.

They're clearing the grid and actually

they're trying to start by the looks of

it. Chloe Chambers's car, some

instructions from the mechanics and the

mechanics have to be off the grid at a

certain time. You can just see the

scrutiny there saying come on time to

get off but all good panic over from

them. Chloe James is shaking her head

but is it okay? I'm not sure it is. They

were told to get off. Is the car

running? Um let's wait and see when when

they get away on the formation lap

because what they will do if they they

have to get the team away uh they will

then recover her afterwards. And yeah,

sure enough she's not moving. And look

behind Mia Block wasn't worn. Now that's

a bit odd that she hadn't been warned

that the car in front was unlikely to

move. But they weren't able to get her

sorted because they had to get off the

grid. They could and I can just see on

the steering wheel it's it's on stuck on

the the startup page. So she's tried to

maybe do some kind of reset. So this is

not good for our champ one of our

championship contenders in Khloe

Chambers. She's currently 16 points

behind Dorian Pan.

Wow, this is a difficult start, but Ella

Lloyd, she is starting in third place.

Let's hear from her going into this

race.

Yeah, feeling pretty good. I think it

was a decent lap in CI. Um and yeah,

hopefully just we can move forward now

in the races like we did in Canada.

Feeling mixed emotions to be honest. Um

obviously a great result to beat P2 from

the front row of the grid. We're in the

fight for the win tomorrow. Um but

equally to be so so close to pole. Um

it's the second time that's happened

this year after being so close to pole

as well in Miami. So it's a tough one to

take but equally we're in a great

position for tomorrow to score some

great points.

Yeah, obviously great. I mean that's

what we wanted of course to get Paul. It

was probably the trickiest session out

there I've had for quali. Um yeah, the

track drying up. We knew that the lap

would be the last lap and that's where

we put it together, but yeah, I just saw

that the top six was within two tents.

So yeah, I'm glad that we got that two

tents in front. So Maya Ver there with

the Ferrari backing MP Motorsport, the

team based here in the Netherlands and

she starts from her second pole position

of this 2025 season. She's had one win

so far that was in Jed. She's had five

podiums. In fact, the top racers uh have

had five podiums so far. Dorian Pan, the

series leader, she's had five podiums

this year. So is Khloe Chambers. But h

it doesn't look like Khloe Chambers is

going to be likely to get a podium. Her

car is in the pits now. And so

presumably it will pit lane start for

her and that's going to be very very

challenging for Khloe Chambers. Remember

she's second in the points at the moment

because Maya Ver dropped down to third

after technical problems she had with

her car last time out in Canada.

That is just so unlucky for her. And you

can see the Campos crew looking down on

the pit wall. All communication be

going. I still don't think they've got

that sorted. She's pushed towards the

right end of the pit lane. You need to

be uh obviously at the start of the pit

lane to or the exit of the pit lane,

should I say, to to get going. But that

allows then those behind her to to move

up. And if you look talking in

championship sense, that's good news for

Maya Book. If she keeps it on the road

where she is now, she will of course

leap frog Khloe Chambers into P2. And of

course then Dorian Pan will be uh happy

to of course know that one of her

rivals, her championship rivals is

unable to to take the start. But plenty

of tire temperature being built up. It's

slightly warmer than the temperatures

they had during qualifying yesterday. Of

course, we had those mixed conditions.

They did set the lap times in the end on

slick tires. And it looks like Leah

Block is actually having to reverse back

because she's pulled up into Chloe

Chambers's spot.

It's good she's realized that me and

them to react. Will be careful not to

get for a jump start. Lights out. F1

Academy is underway. And it's a good

start from the pulser. Ella Lloyd from

the outside also grabbing second place

getting in front of Alicia Palmoski. The

two British racers second and third at

the moment. And then it's Dorian P who

is in fourth place of course. looking

for points to retain that championship

lead that she has at the moment in

fourth place and defending her position

quite tightly. But what a great start by

Maya Verde.

Yeah, great start by her and Ella Lloyd

as well. I think there might be a

penalty incoming for Leah Bach who got

her first podium yesterday. But all

cleanly through, but it's looking like

Ella Lloyd is really challenging. That's

a brave place to go up the inside into

turn six. They come up over the hill now

into seven. But Ella Lloyd, she

struggled yesterday in the race, but in

these early stages, she's looking racy,

but she's come under pressure from

Alicia Palmoski.

It's easy to make little errors here at

Zan. She's just dropped a couple of

places back from Mayberg now and is

coming under pressure as you say from

Alicia Palmoski with the Red Bull

backing and then behind them. Oh, look

at this. Down the inside. Oh, almost

touching, but they just give each other

enough space. only just Lloyd with the

McLaren backing with the road in team

and she is just holding on to that

second place at the moment but Dorian

Pan is also a part of this in the

Mercedes back machine the series leader

she's now trying to go around the

outside can't be done there yeah it's

difficult to go around the outside of

turn 11 but this has been great for Maya

Berg this second half of the lap and I'm

getting word in my ear that Khloe

Chambers has not been able to make the

start that's so unlucky for her the

worst sinking feeling and she knows

we're getting to crunch time in this

season, but things can change quickly,

but everyone through nice and cleanly on

this opening lap.

Tina Houseman currently running in fifth

place and the winner from yesterday,

Nina Gaman in the Alpine backing uh and

livery. You can see her in the

background. She's in sixth place doing a

good job. That was a little bit of a

lock up by Paloski, but she got away

with it. We do have a yellow flag in

sector one. So somebody else may have

gone even deeper into that first corner.

But it is Maya who is leading this race

currently from Lloyd in second place.

Kamoski in third position. Fourth place

for Dorian Pant. Yes. And it does look

as though there was a little bit of an

issue for Nicole Hava into turn one.

Yes. So I'm getting told it was with uh

Nobles as well was involved. They were

towards that end of the grid. Let's have

a little look at the Oh, we're riding on

board with Dorian Pan. So, the instance

much further back. There's the lock up

from Palmovski. Just runs wide. Because

of the banking there, you can kind of

just about get away with a lock up

there. You often see even in Formula 1,

they'll snatch that inside tire. A

replay a little bit further back.

Oh, it's a lock up, wasn't it? Under

breaking. And that took Aurelia Nobles.

she had to avoid.

And uh that's Aurelia very unlucky

there. She had a storming drive through

the field starting at last on the grid

yesterday because she wasn't able to uh

do a a lap within 107% in qualifying. So

was given permission. You can see there

what it means to to Chloe. It's

heartbreak for her because as I said

it's crunch time at this time of the

season and dropping this she's

potentially dropping big points and she

looked racy yesterday so hugely unlucky

for her.

Yeah, winner last time out when we saw

them race in Montreal. Dorian Pat is

definitely getting pretty close to

trying to get a podium out of her

efforts right now as well. Now, this is

a good little battle as Alba Larson,

number 12 there, trying to come through

a little bit with tape on the front

ring, front wing, but Alberta Larson is

trying to get past Khloe Chong. She's

going to have a little look down the

inside, but that outside line there,

Alice is always the quicker line, isn't

it?

It certainly is the favorable line if

you're going through there. But Alberta

had a good storm up through the field

and actually these two made contact

yesterday. It resulted in Khloe Chong

getting a puncher so she had to box.

Albarson got a penalty for for the

contact and she also had to box for a

damaged front wing. Uh you can see at

the top of picture there a pit lane

infringement but I'm not sure that what

that was for Khloe uh Chambers but all

good. Of course she is sadly unable to

to make the start of back up front. My

taken good control of this race. She's

set fastest first sector of anybody.

That's a couple of ten quicker than Ella

Lloyd who's in second place. But Lloyd's

just gained a little bit of time back in

the middle sector. Only a fraction

though. So, they've started to spread

out a little bit with a few battles

throughout the field. Yeah, we've got a

bit of a three-way battle here, haven't

we? Cuz Khloe Chong is just hanging on

to this 11th place. Remember, you get

points down to 10th. So, they're just

outside the points at this stage. And

interestingly, Alma Lson's been very

consistent normally in scoring points,

but she wasn't able to, as you say, in

race one this weekend. That's uh only

the second of the nine races she's done.

so far that she hasn't managed to score

anything at all. Um there is still a

chance for her but she's got to get

herself into the top 10 and that's not

proving easy and with the track drying

out so much more there are fewer

mistakes than we kind of expected. Let's

have a look at the start. And this was

when a block needs to get the penalty.

She's in a wrong box.

Got it.

Yes.

A lack of concentration.

She went back. So she did go back, but

uh start proced.

You could just if you see at the top of

screen, lights will appear to start to

come on and she was then still moving

forward when uh the lights were coming

on. So she will get a penalty. I'll be

amazed if she if she doesn't. But

everyone was clean away. A great launch

from uh from Ella Lloyd. Maybe it could

have been being on the the slightly

drier part of the grid, but everyone was

clearly through. And actually the top

three had a little bit of a breakaway,

didn't they, from Dorian Pan. Tina

Houseman, who didn't finish yesterday,

had that instant going off on her own at

turn eight was putting her fellow Premer

teammate under pressure. And you can see

Nobles was trying that tighter inside

line to try and make her way through the

pack and up front. Oh, it was so close.

And here's the start from Eloy. She just

got the perfect launch. She got the best

launch of the the top five. That is for

sure.

Yeah, that's uh interesting that because

it was a good start, but there was a

slight movement. I I wonder if they're

going to be looking at that again. We

we'll find out later. But um at the

moment it is uh the block who's under

investigation for full start for out of

position. She did move back, but as you

say, she was kind of moving forward

again a little bit, I think. So Maya Ver

with a comfortable lead at the moment,

1.6. 6 seconds over Ella Lloyd in second

place. Alicia Palmoski there in third

with the Red Bull backing. And then it

is our series leader Dorian Pan solidly

scoring. She's scored points in every

single race so far this year. The only

driver to actually do that and fourth

place at the moment. She'll want to be

on the podium, but she knows she's just

got to stay in there. Oh, that's a bit

wide, isn't it, from Lloyd?

That was a bit wide from Ella. She

struggled with pace in the race

yesterday. That's going to put her under

pressure. She did get a podium here in

British F4 one or two months ago and

she's going to cover slightly that

inside line and that is really allowed

uh Maya Berg to stretch her legs

slightly. Oh, going to have a look down

the inside is Alicia but thinks better

of it. But Alicia is going to come under

the difficult task of attacking and

defending cuz she's got Dorian Pan just

3/10en of a second behind her. So it's

looking quite close. Tina Houseman's a

little bit further back, but they'll be

she'll be pleased to see the battling

going on cuz of course it's going to

really slow these drivers down. 1376 is

the fastest lap at the moment that's set

by Meberg. So of course crucially if she

keeps that fastest lap. She will get

that one extra point for fastest lap.

Absolutely. There's no doubt that this

battle as you say between Lloyd Mosski

and Dorian Fat is allowing Maya Ver to

just ease away even further. She has set

fastest lap already. She did yesterday

as well. This is such a big opportunity

for Mayberg to close the points gap to

Dorian Pan. There is Dorian. We're just

having a quick look through there who

had a 37point lead coming into this

event in in the Netherlands. But that is

going to be reduced. There's no doubt.

And there of course two more major

events, Singapore and Las Vegas in F1

Academy this year. So this is crucial

for Mayberg. And we could be on for

another Dutch winner as well because we

had one yesterday and the crowd went

mad. Well, there might be a chance for

it again because May is from the

Netherlands as well. So, let's see how

they get on. But in the meantime, it is

this battle for second place that you

you mentioned that it's going to be

close all the way. I noticed that

yesterday Leah Block did a great job.

She held on to second place, but she did

said she had looked after her tires a

bit because by the end of the race, she

knew though she would be under trouble.

May have got very close, but couldn't

quite get past. So, how much do you

think here Dorian Pan is maybe just

thinking I need to look after my tires

so I can be in a good place at the end

of this?

She could potentially be doing that, but

she struggled for pace yesterday during

the race. She uh fell backwards. She was

looking strong, fairly strong at the

start. There was that slight bit of

contact between her and Khloe Chambers,

but uh I'd be amazed if it if Dorian was

not trying to attack at this stage of of

the race. could be a little bit

tactical, but I would have thought she'd

be uh trying to get past as soon as

possible because that would then open up

that gap. The gap is is spreading at the

front and will be able to see Maya Berg

in the lead pulling away. We're still

waiting to see

what sort of penalty

block is going to be get. And I just

want to point out

up into seventh place. She was meant to

be starting ninth yesterday, but she had

that penalty. didn't well she had a tire

infringement, tire pressure

infringement. So, she had to come into

the pits for the team, the high-tech

team to put some uh pressure in her rear

right tire and she had to start from the

pit lane, but she did a great job and

got up to 12th place. So, we could be

seeing she is a wild card entry. I mean,

she's only doing this event this year.

She could become the first wild card

driver to score points this year. We've

seen it in the past, but this year none

of the wild card entries who just do the

one event, two races at one event, they

have not scored. But she's in great

position right now. and and and of

course looking forward um this could

give an opportunity for her to to

attempt F1 Academy into bringing her

full time in the following season.

It's a prime opportunity for the wild

card drivers to to prove their skill,

show their worth and why they deserve to

be on the grid in a full-time seat.

We're riding on board with a former

wildard driver at Katar from last year,

Alicia Palmovski, who's still chasing

down another wild card driver we had

last year. Elo took part in the

Singapore race and both drivers showed

their skill and uh with their

performance and earned themselves a

space on the grid. Same with Nina Gman.

She had a great strong showing here as

well. We've got a yellow flag in this

sector here. And it looks like Emma

Felmar, you can see on the timing screen

there, is just dropping down the order.

So there we go. She's had a spin. Is

that looks like that's on the entry. She

had a spin into turn 10. So, wonder if

there was any contact there. Of course,

we will at some point get a replay, but

uh

that's a shame because she's she's been

very consecutive with the points in

recent races. Um so, it's a real shame

that she's not going to be able to get

points this time. I think she's dropped

right down to the back of the field. As

you say, we'll have to have a look and

see exactly what happened there.

Let's have a look. So, Emma Felbayer,

was it in a B? No, she lost it herself,

didn't she? Got too sideways. She uh

just try to carry a little bit too much

speed into turn 10. It can uh give you a

false sense of security can turn 10. You

think yeah I can carry that speed and it

just continues. The corner continues and

then at that point it was uh too much

for her and uh rear tires said no and

around she went but still under pressure

from Palovski but Paloski has set the

fastest first sector of anybody on this

lap. So clearly feeling comfortable in a

Red Bull Campos ran machine under

pressure though is Ella. Dorian is still

keeping that gap fairly consistent.

Saying that she it was 7/10 a couple of

laps ago. Now into a second. No DRS in

F1 Academy. If you are new to F1

Academy, no push to pass either. All

overtaking has to be done by yourself

getting that exit putting your your

rival under pressure and trying to force

them into a mistake.

Yeah. And at the moment, Ella Lloyd is

doing a fine job of holding off Tamoski.

So second and third. The gap up front is

just getting bigger and bigger as Maya

Ver is setting fastest lap after fastest

lap. Although actually Damoski has just

done the fastest first sector of anybody

on this particular lap. Maya 4 seconds

ahead. I I do feel for her. She had a

tough time in Montreal with technical

problems with the car. It wasn't her

that made mistakes. Let's listen to Nina

Gman.

Tina's making too many mistakes.

So Nina Gman who won yesterday saying

Tina her teammates they both raced for

the Premier team. You're on board with

Nina Gman the winner yesterday. There is

Tina Houseman just up ahead of her and

she's saying she's making too many

mistakes. I wonder if we'll get a few of

that.

Um I mean they're out there for racing

on their own. It's it'll be Nah's job to

try and get past. So uh the Premma team

can't go on the radio and say you're

making too many mistakes. Get out of the

way. And that was a high line from our

wild card driver. And then Leah Block

tried to swoop down to get uh the the

the the shorter line to then get the run

up. And you could just see you got that

big snap there. But um false start.

There we go. Leot will have that 10sec

time penalty. So that will drop her way

out of the point. She'll fall as it

stands currently all the way down to to

13th place.

What it will do at the moment is bring

Courtney Cone up into the points and

she's not scored any points this year.

She is currently in 11th and if block is

pushed down and the time as you say

pushes her well further down the order

that would be a real opportunity for

Courtney Cron had a bit of a tough time.

The American who has just not been able

to score any any points since her first

full year. She finished 13th in race one

yesterday. Susie Wolf, managing director

of F1 Academy of course watching this

all very closely to see what's going to

happen. We are at just over half

distance. A little way to go in this

race. of course and that Maya Berg is

dominating. She is doing such a fabulous

job there. She is leading comfortably

and it's still the battle for second,

third, potentially fourth, but as you

say, Dorian Pan has dropped back a

little bit there. She has. So my takes

another fastest lap of the race at 137.0

0 48 personal bests actually all around

for our our top four but Ella Lloyd half

a second off that pace 610 off four as

we're having a look at this battle

you're saying about Courtney Cone

getting her first top 10 around the

outside goes Ala Lson lovely move from

her and it looks like that tape vinyl

some of it's cleared off I think it's

vinyl on that front wing she obviously

had a new front wing put on yesterday

with that contact with Khloe Chong

well of course it's actually goes with

Alba Larson being very consistent

normally at scoring points, failing

yesterday, but she does normally score

points and now she's got herself in a

position that is a possible point scorer

with that penalty for blah. So Courtney

Cron's going to have to find another way

to get back into the points again. That

was a close battle and a very good move

I have to say by Alba Larson. It is a

tough track on which to overtake here.

You've raced here, you know what it's

like. It's not easy.

It's not easy. It's frustrating. you you

get a good toe down the main straight.

That's a prime opportunity breaking into

turn one. It is a break a bumpy braking

zone uh particularly on the inside there

if you are trying to make a move and

then it's forcing the driver under

pressure through turn two, turn three,

plen plenty of mistakes from drivers at

turn three and then you've got to have

the real over speed on your your rival

if you're going to challenge at all into

turn seven. And then the next

opportunity really is into turn 10 and

turn 11. So only a small amount of

opportunities for drivers to to make the

move. But uh Mayberg 5 seconds is the

gap up front now.

Absolutely. Leo has got this penalty.

She's looking at trying to gain a place

of course here on Esme Costman. She's

got a bit closer. She's done a good lap

that last lap around but not challenging

into turn one just yet. And Esme

Costerman still looking to become the

first wildcard entry this year to score

points. But even if she lost a place to

block, it wouldn't matter because block

has that penalty. So be sensible. Don't

worry too much. I wonder if she's been

told by the team, you know, if uh if

you're feeling massively under pressure

here, you could actually let block

through. It won't affect your position.

Who would have thought the team would

have have told her there's no worth

taking a big risk. She's got a good gap

behind to Raphael Pereira who's uh in

ninth place. The gap 2.4 there. You

could actually just see following in

that dirty air through turn seven, even

in these uh lower speed F1 Academy cars

compared to to Formula 1. Following in

the dirty air is particularly tricky.

Anina Gabin still trying to put her Tina

her teammate Tina Houseman under

pressure. This is Formula basically a

Formula 4 car, isn't it? Slightly

different spec to what they race in. The

British Formula 4. Tires are slightly

different, but this is a junior level to

give drivers a real opportunity to learn

so much. They'll be learning every

single time they they go on track.

Whether you're winning or you're losing,

you're always learning something.

They've been faced with all sorts this

weekend, haven't they? Tricky

conditions. They've had uh some running

on wet tires, uh slick tires and damp

conditions, and now a fully uh dry

session, which of course their last

fully dry session actually would have uh

was uh yeah, was yesterday. But there's

plenty of things for for these drivers

to learn and getting that allimportant

vital track time is so key at the stage

of their career.

Challenging battle this between two

teammates. They have in the past they

have briefly made contact. Let's hope

they keep it nice and clean. Tina

Houseman and Nina Gman. Nina Gman who

took that victory yesterday very good

when she was out in front managed to

hold the the pace the control in the

race yesterday to take her first ever

win. She hasn't managed to find a way

past Tina Houseman. Of course, Tina

Houseman went off yesterday. She was the

one that made a mistake, but she's being

quite cautious, but still with good

pace. Meanwhile, we're looking back at

Esme Costermanman again. Still under

pressure from Leah Block. Very short gap

between them. Let's see what happens

here. Um ah now Ella Lloyd has been uh

noted for a full start moving before the

signal. We did wonder when we saw the

replay of whether she was moving. So

Lloyd, who is currently in second place,

holding off Palmoski, is very likely to

get a penalty any moment.

Yes. Well, we'll see if we can catch

another replay. That that will likely be

uh well, usually a false start like

Ella. She was in position. She would

have crept. I'm guessing you've spotted

it there, Ben, on the replay. Uh that

would usually be a 5second penalty. We I

think Dorian Pan got one of these in

race one here last year. So, uh, we can

see the Road Motorsport team. We see

Warren Hughes there watching on, uh, who

works very, very closely with all the

McLaren juniors. Five laps to go in this

and Evella has got a penalty. She really

needs to try and open up that gap, but

the close, one of the closest battles on

track at the moment. It's between Nina

Gaiman and Tina House.

Yeah, the two teammates, they are very,

very close going into turn one, but not

quite there. And Nina Gman having had

confidence of course she was so

emotional on the podium yesterday of

that victory. Let's have let's have a

quick look at Ello Lloyd's start again.

We've got a chance to have a a replay.

Let's watch. So lights let's look for

the movement.

yeah. Well, she crept, didn't she? And

there's there's sensors underneath the

the car. There we go. 5second time

penalty. And I think that is correct cuz

she did move. So that will then promote

uh Dorian Pan onto the final step of the

podium as it stands at least at the

moment.

Yeah, cuz she would stay ahead of house,

wouldn't she?

She would. So Ella will be getting that

radio message I'm sure from her team on

the pit wall. But uh she's done a great

job. Got did get a great start. She

would have gained nothing from having

that that creep, but the rules are the

rules. She she moved before the the

lights went out and uh now it's really

time for her to try and stretch her

legs. She's got a well just under five

laps to go.

We don't give up. We don't give up.

Lots of encouragement for Tina Houseman.

And it's great she having had that off

yesterday, which is always a bit of a

downer. She has held her position very

well so far in fifth place. But can she

go a bit quicker? And then when Lloyd

gets her penalty, can she actually gain

another place? I'm not sure she's going

to quite do that because Lloyd is

putting in some good lap times

currently. She's still under pressure of

course from her teammate Nina Cman. Uh

we've still got some good performances

further back of course with Esme

Costerman holding on to that seventh

place ahead of Leah Block, but Leah

Block with the penalty will be pushed

down. Ferrer will effectively then be up

into eighth place. Koi Chong ninth and

Alva Lson looks like she's going to be

the one to score the final point in 10.

Lloyd has 5 seconds time penalty. 5

seconds time penalty for Lloyd. So very

important we keep the gap within there.

She's well within that. So Ella's either

going to find a real turn of pace in uh

in the next few laps. Dorian Pan has

just set her best first sector and it's

a onetenth quicker than Ella Lloyd on

this lap. So, uh, she's doing what she

she needs to do. Tina Houseman, though,

she really has got to to try and make

moves forward. And again, she's probably

got the message as well. She's gone a

fraction quicker than Ella Lloyd and has

set her best for sector. We'll wait for

them to cut the sector two times in

which they're coming up to now. And

they're all fairly similar in uh in that

middle sector. So, Tina trying to do her

hardest to gain uh gain some time back,

but she's under still under pressure.

has majority of the race and it looks

like that gap between Costerman and

Block has opened up slightly. So, a good

showing from our wild card driver.

Yeah, let's have a little look at the

replay from on board with Eloyd. Oh,

yes, it's Palmoski. My goodness,

she so nearly lost it then. She did well

to hold that.

She did. And I'm pretty sure we we've

seen this from over the weekend at some

point. Uh whether was it yesterday? I

think it was yesterday during the race.

She ran slightly high and wide there.

Personal best from Dorian Pant. So she's

got the message. And slightly further

back, Larsson is attacking Khloe Chong

for the final points paying position.

Yeah. So Albert Lson's doing a good job

here today. Second youngest in F1

Academy, 16 years old. She is pushing

Khloe Chong very hard in this latter

stages right now. So we shall see

whether she's going to gain another

point or two coming into this one. But

of course the penalty for Lloyd that

will hurt Maya Ver a little bit because

it will actually give her main rival

Dorian Pan more points courtesy of

getting onto the podium. Let's have a

look here. Oh more with the last. I

thought she might have a chance but it

didn't quite happen. Brave at that stage

of entry into turn seven to throw one

down the inside. A collision would have

certainly been on the cards if that's

the case. There's that compression that

we spoke about over the weekend. Cina

Houseman out yesterday just carried a

bit too much speed. missed the apex. You

can see a great crowd already coming up

to the circuit fairly early this morning

here at Zanvort to to watch F1 Academy

take to the track and it's been clean

racing so far which is always great to

see as well.

Yeah, and the tires will be getting a

bit worn by now and uh if drivers have

been pushing them a bit too hard in the

early stages it might help those who

have been a little bit more cautious. I

tell you what, Albert Lson is doing a

good job here and she still could

potentially get past Khloe Chong before

the end of this race. Our race leader

with 6 seconds advantage over Ella Lloyd

in currently second place but with that

5second penalty which is definitely

going to push her down into fourth

position as things stand at the moment.

And it looks as though Dorian Pan is

going to be able to get that third

place. It's going to mean the gap

between Pan and Berg is still going to

be at just over 20 points. I think but

of course we've got two more rounds,

four more races after this. So it's

still wide open to know what's going to

happen.

It is our flag wave there in the team

viewer box on the right hand side but

few more lap a couple of more laps left

to go and pressure still being applied

to to Khloe Chong. She's not going to be

close enough to have any sort of attack

to Ferrer in front who's kind of in a

race of her own at the moment. Still

some personal best being set. Le Bloxer

set a personal best in the first sector.

Costermanman as well. Um but the times

at the front kind of staying the same.

Ella Lloyd not able to uh stretch her

legs. She was actually last time around

a couple of ten slower than that of

Alicia Palmovski. So still not having

the the pace there in a road in

motorsport car.

Yeah, she's got just under four seconds

to Dorian. She needs another second over

Dorian Tan to hold on to a potential

podium finish, but I'm not sure. I don't

think that's going to happen. I think

Dorian Tan's got enough pace to be able

to go. So, going onto the last lap is

our race leader Maya Verd having started

from pole and we could be on for a

double Dutch victory in F1 Academy here

in the Netherlands. Yesterday, it was

another Dutch driver, Nina Gman. Today

it's Mayberg who's heading for the win.

And I have to say all three Dutch

drivers are likely to get in the points.

But Albert Lassen now is making a move

on the outside down the outside into

turn one. Can she hold on as they go

into the hairpin? Oh, look up from Chloe

Chambers with tucked back in. This might

work. Oh, beautiful by Alberta Len.

Really well done.

Lovely, lovely move. You can see she got

the over speed on her. Got in that toe.

Clearly had a much better exit out of

turn 13.

And she was then able to get that run,

put Chloe under pressure, force her to

defend on the inside and the the

dirtier, bumpier part of entry into turn

one. She did everything she could, had

that lock up which was perfectly read by

Alba Larson and then got that cut back.

Um, but Alicia Palski now has just set

the fastest final the first sector.

Yeah, she's done that before actually.

She's still got life in the in the tire.

Maybe she's going to try and chase

fastest lap, but Eloid I don't think

she's going to be able to. Unless Dorian

Pan has a really bad middle and final

sector, I don't think she's going to be

able to uh to gain. Saying that, Dorian

lost nearly 9/10 of a second to Eloid in

that middle sector. So, I don't know if

Dorian did make some kind of mistake

somewhere.

Okay. Well, that's interesting. We'll

see what the gap is when they cross the

line. But coming over the line now to

take victory in Zanfork for the main

race. It is Mayaver the Dutch racer with

the Dutch team MP Motorsport. They've

taken victory. Second across the line

goes Lloyd but she's got the 5-second

penalty. That means that Paloski

finishes second. Dorian Pan close enough

to take third. Eloy pushed down to

fourth. And the two teammates have been

battling throughout. Dina Hzman and Nina

Gateman they cross the line in fifth and

sixth places. But well Oh, we've got a

slight move for a block of course. Yes,

with the penalty being pushed down now,

the block uh penalty for the start. And

it is great to see that Esme

Costermanman has become the first wild

card entry this year to score points.

She finished in seventh ahead of

Raphaela Ferrer who did a good job in

eighth. Lson who moved up very very well

up into ninth position and Khloe Chong

getting the final point in 10th. Albert

Lson started in 14th. So well done to

her to come up that far. But Maya Ver

has taken victory and crucially has

closed up the points gap to Dorian Pan

the series leader and we still got a

championship battle on between them. But

look at this. Look at the wave from Esme

Costan. That's lovely

as she should. Really pleased for her in

that great team viewer livery and big

waves of course from our race winner

Mayberg. She knows how important this

is.

Yes. Yes. Come on. Really well done.

Ah, nice. Let's go.

Oh, so great. The uh 21-year-old from

the Netherlands who uh born in Spain

originally, but uh grown up in in the

Netherlands and to be on that podium

here at Zanvort again cuz she was last

year, but she hadn't taken the win, but

she's gradually taken it on and on and

done so well. Alicia Paloski.

So that's P2. Well done. Well done. Very

good race. Very good race. Good

fighting. Good race. Uh yeah.

Yeah. Thank you very much.

And that's her best result in a main

race. Uh her main race before her best

result was fourth. So she's had a win in

a reser reverse grid race. But in the

main race where you get the maximum

points, that is her first podium. So

well done to Alicia Palmoski. Yes, it

was a bit frustrating for her. She

couldn't find a way past Ella Lloyd. But

in the end, Ella got the penalty for

that roll at the start as the lights

went out. So, Ella Lloyd has finished

fourth again. So, because she finished

fourth yesterday, she's finished fourth

today. I think she'll be a bit

disappointed this weekend having scored

podium here when she was racing in

British uh Formula 4, but that is still

the way that it is for Lloyd. And the

battle will continue between them in the

points actually quite closely um to be

the best of the first drivers in the

series this year scoring well in the

overall points. Maya of course in her

second year of F1 Academy and she's

taken a very important victory.

Hugely important victory. We'll get the

championship points when we can. But

that's going to play really important

heading into the final two races. Our

next round of course Marina Bay

Singapore where Maya was strong last

year. A couple of second place finishes

outscored Dorian Pan. That's five weeks

time. It's great to see Ferrari down

there as well. Big cheers. Great to see

all of the the F1 teams come down

and Alicia will be pleased as well.

Great drive and uh will be disappointing

of course as you said for Elody to just

miss out and actually Maya and Dorian

Pan both scored their 14th career podium

finish today.

Yeah, absolutely. So that's interesting

the battle between Verg and Pan the

number 28 car. You can see over on the

right hand side the Mercedes back

machine. That's the Dorian Pan car as

she still leads the drivers

championship. She's on 127 points. She

is 20 points ahead of Maya Ver on 107.

Still plenty of time to go. Of course,

poor Khloe Chambers has now dropped back

to third because she was not able to

start this race, get going at all. Ella

Lloyd is in fourth place ahead of Alicia

Palmoski. So there's the same story

there between them. Meanwhile, Nina

Gateman's had a good weekend. She is in

sixth place currently. and behind her

Alba Lson who again has scored points

being very very consistent most of the

year just missing out yesterday that was

one of the issues but well done to Maya

Berg really impressive and to close that

gap to Dorian Pan so crucial this

weekend especially at her home event and

lots of support from the fans they'll be

looking forward to another Dutch racer

getting up onto the top step on the

podium as we saw yesterday when it was

Nina Gman Nina Gman has finished uh down

in sixth place today still scored some

very very useful points this weekend. No

doubt about it. And then as we

mentioned, Esme Costermanman, who she

won't be on the podium, Esme

Costermanman, but the celebration of

becoming the first wild card entry to

score points uh here at Zanaugh. The

first but the first points of the season

of this F1 Academy season. That's very

impressive and I think she'll be very

very happy with that.

Certainly will and you can see what it

means. Two Dutch winners this weekend in

F1 Academy and celebrations all round

for MP Motorsport and that's really

closed up the gap. 19 points now is the

gap between Mayberg and Dorian Pan

heading into the next round. Dorian

Admire of course will jump ahead of

Khloe Chambers with that unfortunate

non-start with technical issues for her.

Hugely unlucky. But what how things can

change quite quickly is heading into

this weekend my was around about 37

points off the lead.

I guess the clean air is nice behind the

car.

Yeah, it was easier than yesterday.

I think you know the um camera it

drained the battery on Chloe's car. And

yeah, it was dark. So,

steer today. It was

me was yesterday.

Yeah. I had a lot yesterday. Interesting

seeing the two main rivals for this

title at the end of the year actually

chatting away very well together there

Maya Verg and Dorian Pan you saw them

talking together they are fighting it's

20 points gap between them in the

championship Dorian Pan on 127 May on

107 and Paul Chloe Chambers who didn't

get to go to the start a little further

back on 93

of course you will get that extra point

for fastest lap so my score will pop up

to uh should pop up to 108. You do get

one point for the fastest lap. So, uh,

nice to see them all chatting. Usually

is a friendly vibe around between the

drivers in F1 Academy and great to see

so many fans in different colors. Some

Red Bull you could see there. Of course,

they'll be pleased to see Alicia Pomoski

on the podium.

Yeah, well done to Alicia, as I say, for

her best result in the main race which

scores the the most points. That really

is impressive. And very well done to

Maya Berg. She absolutely needed that

result and she did deliver it. So well

done. And uh there we are. Dorian Pan

then yet another podium to celebrate and

to maintain that championship lead.

Second place then for Alicia Palmovski.

First career podium finish in the main

race format and a really impressive

attack all the way through even though

she had that big sideways moment as they

laughed about. But the race winner may

for Ferrari. Well, it's the first time a

Ferrari single-seater has won at Zambort

since Reneu in 1983. Netherlands.

So for the second time this weekend, the

Netherlands national anthem with a

different driver in F1 Academy. Nina

Gateman yesterday, but Maya Ver today

giving the fans plenty to get excited

about and of course they'll all be

looking forward to potentially another

one later on today in Formula 1. We

shall see what happens. So Maya getting

her trophy. Alicia Palmoski in her first

full season in F1 Academy doing an

absolutely superb job getting that to a

podium. And Dorian Pan, series leader,

her second season and that is a result

she needed after a disappointing run

yesterday. Still scoring points in sixth

place but back on the podium once again.

So Maya Berg celebrating away and many

many congratulations. Absolutely the

weekend she needed coming from eighth to

third in race one and then dominating

from pole position in race two to get a

fantastic collection of points over the

two races this weekend. And for MP

Motorsport, the Dutch team as well, it's

been good. They've actually moved up a

bit more in the team's championships as

well. They're in third at the moment.

It's still Premma Racing that are

comfortably in the lead. uh Premer part

of Dorian Pat of course as looks as

though Alicia Paloski is getting a

little bit more sprayed than she

expected.

When you get that stuff in your eye, it

does sting, especially if you're a

contact lens wearer like me. And you can

see I feel like Alicia's got that

problem, but uh they won't mind. It's a

nice problem to have cuz that means

you've made a visit to the podium. And

uh another great display of racing from

F1 Academy and you have to wait five

weeks until we see it all over again.

Absolutely. So Singapore will be the

next round on the championship and uh we

shall see how that all goes and then

there'll be one more in Las Vegas and

that's not until November and it may

well be that the championship isn't

decided until then. So let's uh have a

little look at the result of this second

race. Maya taking victory from Alicia

Palmoski in second place and the series

leader Dorian Pan getting good points in

third. Ella Lloyd getting a 5-second

penalty down in fourth. Tina Houseman

fifth ahead of Nina Gateman. Esme Kosman

the wild card getting points today.

Raphaela Ferrer in eighth place. Alva

Larson moving up through the order

extremely well from 14th to finish

ninth. And Khloe Chong taking the final

point. She started down in 12th but

managed to finish in 10th position. In

11th, Courtney Cronin again just missed

out on the points I'm afraid ahead of

Leah Block at the penalty. Duranche

Conte Ailia Nobles, Emma Felder, Nikico

Havda, Ava Anagnostialis, and Paul Khloe

Chambers who didn't get out at the start

of the race with a problem with the car.

So there we are. Zambort always a hugely

entertaining venue for F1 Academy for

any kind of racing and to have Dutch

winners in both races has certainly made

the fans very, very excited. We still

got a battle on in the championship of

course particularly between Dorian P and

the winner today Maya Ver. I do hope you
