Race two of F1 Academy in Montreal on

Saturday saw a great getaway by Nina

Gman, but an incident for Khloe Chambers

after slight contact spun her in turn

one. There were more contacts throughout

the course of the race and sadly we also

saw one driver out, Rafaela Ferrer

suffered a non-finish. Another late

incident also we saw Nicole Hava causing

a safety car and that gave Emma Felmire

the chance to get in front and despite

popping over the final chicane she took

the victory with Ella Lloyd in second

place.

So hello and welcome to F1 Academy

racing in Montreal in Canada for the

third time this weekend after also

establishing the next three years for

the series to be racing at this 2.7 m

4.3 km 14 turn circuit created in the

1970s and it has already been providing

us with some excellent action all sorts

of fun and games in F1 Academy over the

course of this weekend. I'm Ben Edwards.

Alongside me is competitive racer,

driver coach, and expert co- commentator

Alice Pal. And Alice, this day, the 15th

of June, is actually the anniversary of

the day in 1958 when Maria Theresa

Deites became the first woman to compete

in a world championship Formula 1 race.

So, it's great to see these racers

competing with backup from F1 teams and

trying to prove that they have the

talent to get to that level in the

future. 100%, Ben. And every single one

of these young drivers will be gunning

hoping to get into Formula 1 one day.

But as you said, the support from F1

Academy, it sponsors the Formula 1 team

is incredible. And there is our pole

sitter Khloe Chambers. She had it was

her 21st birthday yesterday, but she

didn't have a great she's not had a

great weekend so far. Only the pole

position really to show for it.

Absolutely. She's finished seventh and

10th so far, yet she's had two fastest

laps. So, it's just not been getting the

results. And Alicia Paloski, who is her

teammate, who will be alongside on the

front row, hasn't gone great for her.

She got a penalty in the first race. She

had a sixth in the second race. Dorian

Pan, it's going well for her, but we

shall see. Her championship lead has

certainly built up over the course of

the weekend. Let's take a look at the

lineup in the grid from the back. Nicole

Hav, who got a penalty from that last

race, 18th, Ava Anakiard starts in 17th

place. Courtney Cone and Maya Ver on

that penultimate row. And Maya Verg of

course was the series leader coming into

this event. She really needs to move

forward if possible. Wild card entry.

Matilda Pats doing good job. 14th on the

grid. Aa Noble starts in 13th place.

Alba Lson. Keep an eye on Alberta. She's

been jumping up into the top 10 easily.

12th on this one, 11th for Joan

Shikante. Leah Block starting in 10th

place. And Raphaela Ferrer who suffered

that non-finish in race two. She's

starting in ninth place. Khloe Chong was

on pole for the reverse grid race. She

starts eighth for this one. Nina Gman

starts in seventh. She led so much of

race two. It was Emma Felber who went on

to take the win in race two. She starts

sixth. Tina Houseman starting from fifth

place. Ella Lloyd has had two second

places here this weekend. She starts in

fourth and championship leader Dorian

Pal starts in third. And then on that

front row, we've got Alicia Tamowski and

Khloe Chambers. Both looking for a top

result for the first time out of the

three races here in Montreal. So that's

the lineup. Conditions are good. There's

no doubt about it. Um the the conditions

of the track, etc. Nothing much to worry

about, unlike Miami, of course, when

they they had the whole race canled.

Yeah, safe to say the conditions are

much nicer than Miami nearly two months

ago now. But track conditions much

better in terms of rubber going down.

We've had a support race out already

this morning. So, a little bit of the

overnight dust uh has been cleared. But

in terms of air and track temperature,

it's pretty much exactly the same as

what it was in qualifying. So, they've

had some experience of running in these

temperatures, but of course, like I

said, the track temperature is going to

be uh sorry, the track surface is going

to be very different. And Ella Lloyd,

two podiums yesterday. Can she make it a

hat-tick of podiums this weekend? Yeah,

she's doing really well at the moment

and uh she is currently fourth in the

points. She's a couple of points now

ahead of Alicia Palamovski. Uh she's a

little bit more of a gap to Khloe

Chambers who is currently third in the

series, but it is Dorian Pan who is

leading by a decent amount and she

starts in the Mercedes supported car

that starts from third place. So they're

on the formation lap now. Hopefully they

all get away well. What's the latest on

Maya Ver, Alice? Because she's had a

car's problems through much of this

weekend. She didn't get the car out in

qualifying. Um, race one was horrible.

She had to finish, but race two, she did

actually get a much better finish. I

wonder what she can do in this one.

Yeah, so she's had a torid weekend. Came

into this weekend as the championship

leader, one point ahead of Dorian Pan.

She's now second, 29 points behind

Dorian. So she finished ninth yesterday

and that was her only session of do or

run of doing a full session. So car

seems to be sorted now. So she's going

to be down starting down in 15th. That's

right. So we'll have to see how that

goes. So our top three on the grid.

Let's hear from them. They spoke to us

after qualifying.

I think we make some good progress. Um

if we compare to FP1 that was uh not

very positive for us. Um so so at least

this is positive. We pick up some space

but it's still not enough for for the

pole uh days but uh we're still in the

game to fight for uh for the races. So

looking forward to it.

I think it's a great opportunity to

start from the front row of the grid. Um

that's two races out of the three now

this weekend that'll be starting from

the front row. So great opportunity to

try and maximize and capitalize on the

points. A lot of points on offer this

with this weekend. equally a little bit

frustrated um because I do definitely

think we could have been in the fight

more for pole position. Um it was a very

messy session to be honest with traffic.

We got a lot of traffic just as I had

the peak of the tire. So we didn't

really maximize the opportunity. Um but

even with a messy session, we're still

P2. So um it's good progress that we're

making.

Yeah, I mean definitely a lot of

opportunity to make up points

unfortunately for Maya starting further

back tomorrow and then um having those

engine issues today. So didn't get the

best qualifying for her. So that's a big

opportunity for all of us to make up

points on her.

Yes. And of course uh Chloe said that on

Friday and Maya hasn't been able to

score many points but who has of course

is Dorian Pan who you heard from. She's

starting from third place and she's

managed to open up that championship

lead quite seriously. But this could be

a bit of a different story in this one

with the two Campos cars on the front

row of the grid backed by Red Bull. Um

and both of them have shown great

competitiveness. Unfortunately, they had

a little bit of a connection contact in

the first race. Let's hope they can keep

it clean in this one. Yeah, again, I'm

sure Campos have already sat them down.

Um certainly after the first race and

said, "Right, you know, you need to keep

it together." And they've been so fast

this weekend and they've not really had

anything to show for it. You know,

they've not even had a podium this

weekend and they topped practice and

qualifying as all the cars are finally

lining up on the grid. Yeah, we're all

seeing the green flag at the back of the

grid now. So, we are ready to go racing.

The third race of the weekend for F1

Academy in Canada. Lights out. Away we

go. And it's a good start again from

Khloe Chambers who gets away from that

pole position. Gets ahead of Alicia

Palmoski. And it's Ella Lloyd in the

orange and black McLaren livery that's

trying to take second place. She dives

down the inside into turn two, but

Paloski on the outside is trying to hold

that position in second place. Go. Oh

no, they make good. Oh no, Paloski's

off. Bang. and Doora Pan just managed to

avoid it. Oh, what a shame. It does mean

that Chloe Chambers has got the lead of

this race. Now, was that contact between

I have to have a look again whether she

got a helping hand from further behind

Doran again lucky avoiding any major

damage. We will catch a replay. Emma

Falamire battling with her teammate.

That was yesterday's race winner. But a

lightning start and also it promotes

Tina Houseman. She started. Oh, and also

we've got another collision. That's

Matia who's Matia Pats the wild card

entry and making contact. Oh, what a

shame that is with Ava an Agnostiis at

the back there who just I don't think

had anywhere to avoid. So now we've got

a full safety car and that's no surprise

because there's damage around the track.

Everyone will have to back off, slow

down, no overtaking, settle back down,

and then we can kind of work out where

everybody's gone. As you say, Tina

Houseman's done well. But there is

Matilda Patz, who is the wild card who

has had another instance sadly cuz she

had crashed. She'd done a good job in

the first race, but she crashed at the

wall. Crashed at the wall of champions.

This is a separate incident obviously

and we will get a look at a replay in a

moment, but this is going to take a few

minutes to get all the cars out of the

way. Look at the damage as well to over

Anagnostiardis, the front end of that.

So Alicia is able to keep going. front

wing damage and I would expect some

front right damage to her Red Bull

Racing machine as well. Now, we will of

course get to see it again, but I just

wonder it was just, you know, they

wanted to go for the same track space or

whether she got a little bit of a

helping hand from behind which pitched

her into Lloyd. So, let's have a look.

So, a great start you'll see from the

McLaren car. What a launch from from

Ella Lloyd. Dorian comes across to try

and cover her off. Ella then braves it

round the outside so she'll then have

the inside line for turn two. Gets it

stopped nicely, but Alicia is able to

get down on the throttle a little bit

easier. And let's have a look who moves

across on who. I think that looks like

potentially Alicia just moves slightly

across into the path of Illinois. This

is going to be the perfect view now. And

this of course what the stewards were

having. Look, you see how aggressively

across Dorian came. Then she thought,

"No, I'm going to try." And and the only

hope for her was go down the inside.

Ella, brave stuff. Chloe, in the

meantime, did everything perfect from

pole position, probably looking in a

mirror. Let's have a little look. I

think that's just a racing incident

actually looking at it on board. I did

say that maybe Alicia came across, but

it looked like they were both just going

straight and uh came together. I'm not

sure what happened there.

You can understand that because it was

it sometimes you touch the wheels, don't

you, with a rival. I bet this you've

done this a few times in single seater

races and you both get away with it. A

little touch on the wheels, but this

touch was actually Yeah, it really was a

slightly heavier touch and it flicked

her across and Dory Pan was lucky,

wasn't she? She was so lucky not to get

a puncture, any real kind of damage.

Alicia is going to have to come in to

have a front wing wing change and then

we're going to see the Axam slightly

further back. We'll look in the

background. Oh, she lost it.

And that was unlucky for Ava. She had

nowhere to go whatsoever into the path

of uh Bethilda spun into the path of Ava

and that was that. But uh yeah, I think

racing instance, of course, it's going

to be investigated between Alicia and

Ella Lloyd. But uh yeah, I just think it

was one of those things. It was one of

those things. You're absolutely right.

And uh it is a tough one. But for Khloe

Chambers who managed to make that good

start again. Can she get her first win

of the season of this season? Chloe, we

shall see whether she's able to. She had

one win last year, but despite having

three pole positions in a row in F1

Academy this year, she's not been able

to take a victory. But Dorian Pan, she's

lost out a little bit, but thankfully

still the car in good peace because it

could so easily have been taken out in

that first lap incident. But she is

there still likely to score points and

um well we just have to see how far she

can go. There is obviously a little bit

of analysis going into to what has

happened but we shall see if there are

any decisions made in that one later.

One who really did benefit was Tina

Houseman. She uh has started fifth on

the grid now in a podium paying position

and if it does stay like this it'll be

her first podium in F1 Academy. Uh of

course there's plenty of racing laps

left to go. You can see Alicia's getting

the the front wing changed there by

Campos. Little struggle with the bolt on

the front left of that wing, but she's

back underway as Susie Wolf watches on.

I mean, we've had some exciting races uh

two races across the weekend so far and

that's continued into this one. Well,

Alicia will join the back of the crew

again, of course, before the safety car

is released. So, we'll give her a chance

to try and pick off some places. By the

way, uh Maya is currently in 12th

position. So Mayberg, who was leading

this series when we first came into

Montreal, but has had such a difficult

weekend with technical issues on the

car, the Dutch racer, 21 years old, and

now she has moved up to 12th place in

this race, having started down in 15. So

she made a few places, but she won't be

as far up as she would like. In a way,

the safety car will help her a little

bit more because she will be able to

then go on the attack with a few more up

ahead of us. She's got Aurelia Nobles

number 22 up ahead. There you are.

You're looking at Mayerberg there. So,

can she get some points back this

weekend after such a difficult start?

Well, we'll keep an eye on that. So, so

the race today is top 10 that received

points. Yesterday, it was just top

eight. So, full points for this race.

So, she'll have to gain a couple of more

places. We're going to have an onboard

now from the Williams driver, Leah

Block. Started in 10th place. hasn't

made uh any places up as it all bunches

up down into turn one. She's got

Raphaelia Pereira on her right hand side

there. She's going to try and go around

the outside. Didn't quite wasn't quite

able to get the drive at least initially

and then she had to hit the brakes and

that allowed is that Alba Lson it looks

like on the right hand side there. We'll

wait to see. I'm sure Alba's still there

on the outside. Yes, she is. Oh, great

car control from from Alba. So, Dorian

Pan then, uh, we've already seen how

very fortunate she was not to get any

serious damage. We're going to see it

again. Yeah. And you'll see the movement

between the cars.

Yeah. I'm I'm amazed that that didn't

actually damage her front wing. It's

It's incredible, isn't it? I mean, it

just shows the strength of these F1

Academy cars. And you can see there how

she was just so len

chucked her head forward. did it from

Dorian Pan and then her two Premer

teammates are going, "Right, thank you

very much. We'll move on forward."

Let's have a little closer look on that

front wing. So, it has indented the

front wing, but it's not going to have

done anything. Actually, no, that was

the other side, wasn't it? So,

looks all right. She's escaped. And

then, of course, this was the second

incident. Yeah. And that was where

Matilda Patz just lost it unfortunately

out of the corner. Um it would have been

interesting maybe to see the entry to

that. I wonder what happened on the

entry but she it basically was her

mistake and for Anagnostiardis who did

finish eighth in race one here in

Montreal. No further investigation on

that incident with Lloyd and Pat Moski.

I'm not surprised because as you said it

was just a racing incident really.

Correct decision for from me to be

honest. Yeah. Yeah. Let's listen to some

radio. Okay, Nina. So, let's be smart

and work together to move forward. Yes,

well, we've uh we've heard that message

before between the the premer drivers

and that that flashbacks to I'm pretty

sure it was Shanghai when we're in a

similar position with Nina Gman and Tina

Houseman and then that radio message was

played across, wasn't it, at the start

of the race. Worked together and then uh

they came together. They did come

together. So, uh, Premma, I think

reiterating, right, no, no, actually,

let's work together this time because

they're in a strong position. They've

got, uh, all of their cars up in the top

five. Chloe Chambers in the Red Bull

Ford is ran by Campos Racing. Ella Lloyd

in the McLaren, who were riding on board

with is rode in motorsport. And then

you've also got Khloe Chong, road in

motorsport in the Charlotte Tilbury car.

And Emma Felvar, yesterday's race winner

in the kicksa is is round by motor road

in motorsport as well. That's a good

point, especially about Khloe Chong in

sixth place because she had started on

pole position in race two yesterday.

Ended up finishing last in that race and

and she's had a bit of a tough season

this year in terms of getting race

finishes, but she's done a decent job on

this first lap. Um, obviously now under

safety car. I wonder if she can hold on

to some useful points if she if she

stays in that position. At the moment,

she's behind Dorian Tan. Let's listen

into Tan.

So, no penalty coming for Eloid. Uhhuh.

Funny Freddy.

I mean, we've already said I think it's

a racing incident. So, I don't think

anyone should uh to get a penalty uh in

that incident. But, uh it's heat of the

moment stuff. You have a different point

of view, then you hop out the car and

you seem to see on boards from different

point of view in the outboard and then

and that can also uh change your view.

But just going back to Khloe Chong, uh

she the the team worked their socks off

to repair her car, which is actually

really badly damaged from that incident

in race one with Raphaela Ferrer. And I

think they just ran out of time from

what I was told to to repair it

properly. So she really struggled for

for for pace as you said, finished at

the back of the field from starting on

pole position. And she's actually seems

okay now. Okay, there's been a couple of

incidents. She said she moved up a

couple of spots, but uh it seems like it

seems to be a bit better than it was

yesterday. So, fully repaired now. Good.

Well, that's the car you're looking at,

number 27 there. That's what we're

talking about. It's good to know that

they've repaired it. And there is

Matilda Patz getting

a bit of a comfort from her team and

they're feeling for her, of course. And

she's feel it looks like she's feeling

really bad that she's damaged the car

again a second time. But actually, we've

she's done a better job as a wild card

entry in terms of pace and in race two

than many of the other wild card entries

this year. And she is absolutely gutted

because because if you do well as a wild

card entry, you only get the one entry

for that year, but you may get the

chance to get a full season the

following year. Well, exactly. Look at

Ella Lloyd, Nina Gaiman, Alicia

Palovski. They are wild cards last year,

their full-time seat this year. And it's

a lot of pressure for for these young

drivers, whether it's F1 Academy,

Formula 2, Formula 3, for for that

matter. There's a lot of eyes watching.

You're on the world stage. You you've

got the the world feed, the coverage

that's that's shown across uh numerous

numerous countries. You've got the F1

teams keeping an eye on you as well.

Formula 1 as a as a whole looking

looking at you, seeing how you're you're

getting on. And it and it's tough. And

uh these drivers, they of course they

all want to to win and everyone

progresses at at different rates. And if

you haven't seen F1 the academy that's

uh now streamed on Netflix, that gives a

real insight behind the scenes of F1

Academy season last year and a lot of

the pressures that a lot of these young

drivers uh are facing. So it's it's

tough out there and you know these

opportunities they they're only allowed

to race for two years in F1 Academy and

trust me, two years can go pretty

quickly. It can go very quickly. uh and

then you've got to continue your career

from whatever you do. If you get that

chance to do F1 Academy, it gives you an

amazing ability to to race against some

very competitive races at amazing

circuits like this that as you say puts

you under a lot of pressure as well. Um

and we'll see how it develops in the

future years as well as drivers come out

of this fairly junior level. See how far

up they can go. As we mentioned, this

15th of June being the anniversary of

the the first ever woman to race in

World Championship Formula 1. Will we

see that again? Well, this is an

opportunity to give women a chance to

show what they can do and let's hope

that it can be done in the future.

Safety car lights are still on at the

moment. I I thought we might see lights

out yet on the but not yet. So, they're

still obviously having to tidy up from

that incident. We're on lap six out of

17, but we will still have plenty of

racing time and I think we're still in

for lots of action actually because uh

we shall see how this goes. that the

drivers only got the one free practice

here before they went into qualifying

and then for three races and the reason

we have three races here is because the

race in Miami got cancelled. Um but they

are now getting more and more used to

the track and I was actually quite

impressed by that first corner that they

all dealt with. There were no major in

apart from on the exit, which was I know

then they got a bit carried away on the

exit. But that was that was just one of

those things that can happen, but there

were no silly incidents on the braking

into turns one and two. So it be

interesting to see if that happens again

when the safety car releases them. No,

exactly that. And I'm expecting that

we're probably going to have the safety

car coming in uh at the end of this lap.

The Marshalls, as always, do a fantastic

job and have have cleared up pretty much

most of the the wreckages that were left

on the side of the track. I actually

thought it was coming in the previous

lap because Chloe Chambers dropped quite

far back from uh from the safety car.

So, um but it is there's confirmation

now. Safety car is ending. So, the

drivers can't do any weaving um into the

entry of turn 13, which is the

penultimate corner on the lap. So they

can all continue to weave through here.

Just exiting turn seven where we saw

that instant between Pats and Ava.

That's all cleared now. So you can see

big weave stamps on the brakes uh from

all the drivers as they'll follow the

safety car round for this last time. So

it is Khloe Chambers who will have the

chance from that pole position that she

had and took such a great start. The

20-year-old American now 21year-old of

course she turned 21 yesterday. Um, so

she now has the chance to try and make

the break again from the top spot.

Chased by Ella Lloyd, who has finished

second in both races here this weekend.

Has had a win so far this year as well

and is very, very competitive. And then

in third place, Tina Houseman in the

Aston Martin supported car from Pra.

She's got her teammate Nina Gman behind

in the Alpine

livery as well. So it it could go

anywhere here. And we are getting ready

for the start. So it's now up to Khloe

Chambers to decide when to go for it.

She's just taking it steady at the

moment. When's she going to go? Before

the chicane or during the chicane?

Probably during. Now. Now. Flaws it.

Yeah. Way she goes. So the race is back

underway once again. And Chloe Chambers

makes the break or tries to from Ella

Lloyd in second place. Tina Houseman in

third, then Nina Gabri and Dorian Pan

the series leader is on the attack

immediately. But that was a good start

by Chloe Chambers. She's made a little

bit of a break. Yeah, she did. Perfect

restart. The Ramp Pan get very close to

her teammate Nina Gaiman. She should

have that inside pretty much done. And

she does. She's going to take the

shorter line and she's going to be later

on the break. So that's a place gained

already from Dorian Pan. Next up is her

teammate Tina Houseman who is currently

in the top three positions for the first

time during a race at least. And let's

have a little look. Alicia Palmoski is

caught at the back and Emma Falamay, you

always know when Emma's around this top

eight, she's going to be making moves

forward and she has already up to P6.

Yeah, so Emma Falaire who won race two

yesterday has just managed to nip

through. She's in the Salva livery car

number five and got past Chloe Jong, but

right behind Alba Lson, keep an eye on

Ala Len again because she did such a

good job yesterday. She started down in

12th on the grid for this race, but

she's already got herself up into eighth

place. So she is now attacking Khloe

Chong as meanwhile look at this battle

going on and Fela Meyer on the outside.

Oh no she gets spun out the winner from

yesterday gets spun out

into the hairpin and that we that was a

tricky situation. I don't think it's

going to be safety car but look Chloe

Chambers the race leader coming under

pressure now. She is big pressure and

then Tina Houseman the same with Dorian

Pan and I think that was just Nina made

a mistake at the previous chicane tried

to cover it and just locked up. So we

could see a penalty coming the way of

Nina Gman Alba and then in amongst that

has lost a place and Maya Ver making her

way further up but Dorian Pan she's got

a brilliant exit out of the final corner

draws up alongside her teammate. Is Tina

going to be able to hang it around the

outside? Let's have a look if she's

still there. No, not able to do it. But

fastest lap on your left hand side there

you can see is the McLaren driver and

Ella Lloyd 210 is the gap at the moment.

And look at how Pamoski is making

progress. She's gone up to 10th place

now having started. Oh no, it's just

shown as 11th. But she's made great

progress from the back remember after

the safety cars got going again. But up

front it is Khloe Chambers who leads in

the red bull forward supported machine

from Eloid. And Chloe Chambers holding

it at this stage. But Dorian Pan will

now try and catch them having gone up

into third place. Yeah, Ella Lloyd doing

a a great job at coach by last year's

champion Abby Pulling. So Abby passing

on plenty of her advice that she took uh

and she learned from F1 Academy last

year has putting Kloe Chambers all under

pressure. She'll have known now and

would have had it taken a look in the

mirror to see Dorian is back into third

place and Maya Berg is now way moving up

the order. She's now into eighth place.

That's good from Maya Berg. She started

15th on the grid. Um we've seen her

talent throughout the course of this

year. She's had a really tough weekend,

but she is moving up the order. Mayberg

up into eighth place. Nina Gman down to

ninth now after that incident down at

the hairpin. And Leah Block holding on

to the final point at the moment in 10th

place. Let's see how this goes though as

Ella Lloyd goes on the attack. Look how

close she is to the back, but she didn't

actually go for the move into the

chicane. She knows she's got plenty more

time. She's trying to put the pressure

on Khloe Chambers and uh there is that

under investigation that he did incident

we saw a moment ago. We will take

another look at it shortly, but Khloe

Chambers under pressure and Dorian Pan

has now set the fastest lap as she

closes the gap to these two. So, this

could become a three-way battle. Elo's

now got a chance to go up the inside,

but no, Chambers shuts the door just in

time to be able to hold the position as

they come up into turns three and four.

And she's still there in front. She is

Khloe Chong is now up into fifth place.

Alarsen sixth. The Mayberg continuing to

make her way forward. Great for her.

Dorian Pan has really closed down. I

don't know where the pace has gone for

for Khloe Chambers. She was so quick.

Qualified on pole by over 3/10en of a

second in our qualifying on Friday, but

just lacking. Leah Blocks having a

scratch a little bit further back. She's

currently in 10th place trying to steal

away at ninth place from Raphaela Ferrer

as they'll come down into the heavy

breaking zone. Oh, contact, contact.

Ferrer is spun. Oh, and she gets hit

again. This could be another safety car.

Yeah, I mean it's uh that was just Leah

totally misjudging her braking, smashing

into the back and nobles. She just

doesn't seem to get any luck whatsoever.

There is a 10-second time penalty which

we were expecting to come along from uh

Nina Gman and Leblock's car is going

absolutely nowhere. That front left.

What a shame. Oh, that is a shame. And

have we got safety car? The top three.

Look how close now the Dorian Pan was

already under the safety car. Of course,

they'll all be very close because

they've all got to queue back up

together behind the safety car. Oh, and

as you say for Aurelia Nobel, I really

feel for her because this has happened

several times throughout the course of

the year where she's not done something

wrong, but she always gets caught up by

it. And let's have a look at this latest

incident here. So

that's just Leah totally misjudging the

the breaking. And for Nobles, she's just

going to think, when's my luck going to

change? She obviously got caught up with

an incident that wasn't really her fault

yesterday with Maya. And yeah, it was

just too late on the brakes from the

Williams driver of Leah Block and spun

round Raphaela. Here we go on board. She

probably thought about going down the

inside. She thought no, maybe she was

thinking I'm going to try and sell the

dummy here and no, she didn't. She just

She just me. She ran me into the wall. I

can't believe she did that. I don't

think that I think she she's I know

she's done a lot of rally driving and

you we were talking about that but she's

not done a lot of circuit racing and

that I was looking at that Ferrer had

the position to take she had the right

to take the the line that she took this

was the earlier incident wasn't it?

Yeah, absolutely. Nina Gman hitting you

squeezed me all the way to the inside.

I mean yeah I don't think that move was

uh was ever going to be on uh Nina had

to take to the grass before that. and

come on.

Yeah, we saw there should be a slam dunk

penalty for her.

Well, yes. Uh we haven't seen a penalty

yet, I don't think. But uh that was

another look at that incident at the

hair and pin. I do feel for Emma Felmire

who won yesterday but got spun out there

and oh and that was uh that was Nobles

and a wing mirror as well. You can see

flew off down the straight.

So, uh, that was after she'd had the

front wing. So, uh, she's having a tough

time at the moment. She'll obviously

have to come into the pits. She's

currently still in there. She hasn't

left at the moment yet. She's she's out

of the car, visibly upset and uh has

every right to be. Yeah, it's been

tough.

So, uh, Nina Gman has had a penalty for

that collision, we gather. So, Nina Gman

uh, yes, has been given a a penalty.

10-second time penalty in fact for the

collision. Gademan is currently running

in eighth place, but you add the

10-second penalty to that. Obviously,

that will depend on how they cross the

line at the checkered flag. Right now,

they will be close together behind the

safety car, but there's no doubt that

Gageman is going to be dropping back.

So, what does this mean for Maya Ver? It

means that the number 64 car, the

Ferrari machine there that you're

looking at, up into seventh place. Um,

and this is a good opportunity in a way.

All these safety car periods will help

her because what it does is it puts the

the crew close together. Whereas when

they get all spaced out, you might get

one or two extra places, but it's very

hard to catch the leaders. When you've

got this opportunity, she may be able to

move up even further. And we are getting

towards the safety car ending at the end

of this lap. Yeah. And we're still on

lap 12 of of 17. And uh more exciting

racing left to to come, especially

Dorian is looking so hungry, isn't she?

She's got the pace, fastest lap of the

race. She'll get the extra uh couple

extra point for that as two points for

that as well.

Finish the race because we now have a

10-second penalty for causing a

collision. Hey, she turned in as well. I

understand. But this is the steward's

decision. So, we just need to push to

try and catch up as much as we can.

I'd say the engineer does a good job on

that. Um just just focus on what you've

got to do now. Don't worry about that

now. Just just just get on with it. And

uh so Nina Gateman who's now behind Maya

Ver so it'll be tough for her to uh beat

Maya Ver I would think because Ver is

now showing the sort of pace we tend to

see throughout the course of the year.

But let's just see how Chloe Chambers

does this restart. Will she do it

differently this time? Well, that's a a

good question and we're about to to find

out. Eloids will well, you never know

what to expect because you're not in the

mind of of the other driver, but you

need to be prepared. And you can see

that uh the the lead car will continue

to weave. Just trying to build that last

moment of temperature. And you can hear

from Ella, she's just trying to find the

right gear, stopping weaving. So, you're

ready waiting to pounce.

And she's gone at a very similar time.

And it's a good restart from Chloe

Chames. But Ella Lloyd looked like she

got a good one as well. I think she was

ready for that this time a little bit

more. So she is actually a little

closer. Not quite close enough to attack

down into turn one. Dorian Pan is behind

and Len making a move down the inside

trying to now go around the outside of

Khloe Chong. But actually she's now

under pressure from Maya Ver. So Maya

Verg is now trying to make the progress

up the inside as they come up towards

turn three. And Maya might be able to

Oh, did they touch? There was a slight

contact there, but Fergus got through

and Alberta Lson had to correct hold it.

We'll have another look at that in a

moment, but that has cost Alberta Lson

several places. And look at Palmoski.

She's managing to come even further up

the order now. So, these safety cars

have allowed Alicia to to catch up.

She's all the way on the back of Nina

Gber now, who does remember have that

10-second time penalty. Nina chops

across to close the door to stop any

opportunity for Alicia Palmoski at least

for the moment as they head now down

into turn eight and nine. One of the

many chicanees that we have on this

fantastic Montreal circuit. Then they'll

swoop through under the trees into turn

10 which has many of incidents in the

years in plenty of categories and still

under investigation is Leah Block and

Raphaela Ferrer. incident, but down the

inside. Do not give an opportunity to

Alberta Larson cuz she's certainly going

to take it. Yeah. And still side by side

with Nina Gateman. This is going to have

to be decided, I think, when they come

down to the final chicane. Well, they

can keep it clean. Alicia Palmoski is up

ahead of them, but of course they're

getting a toe. This is the area of the

circuit where you get a bit of a toe.

The split screen helps, but Alberta

Lassa just tucks back in. And so, she is

in front of Ga. She's in eighth place

now, but Maya Berg up into sixth place.

Well done to Maya Berg from 15th on the

grid. Now up into sixth place. She will

now be chasing after Khloe Chong. And

Ela Larson, as you say, she never gives

up. She's going to have another go here.

She constantly is battling to try and

move her way forward. Emma Felbayer

dropped to the back of the field as well

with that instant Nina Ga. She's already

up into 12th. So let's have a little

look at this contact between Maya and

Ela. I mean, again, I think that's just

going to be put down as a racing

instance, but we shall see. Alvin tried

to hang it around the outside.

Was pinched on the inside, so we'll keep

an up to date with that. But what a

drive from from Mber. She's nearly

gained 10 places. She gets to Chloe

Chong. That will be 10 places. And

considering that her only real running

was in the race yesterday, she'sn't

really done any laps over the weekend at

all. Her pace is looking pretty good.

Another big spin. And it's Courtney Cone

who goes off in the hashbacked ART GP

car. Oh, that's a great shame for

Courtney Cone. I didn't quite who who

did she make contact with. Do you see

Emma Falmar? I was actually looking at

the timing screen, believe it or not.

But let's see if she can get going or

whether that right rear has uh too much

damage.

Let's have a look. Yeah, you're right

because we're on board with Emma Felva

and that is Courtney Cone just up ahead.

So, is it all under braing here? Oh, now

that was that was a bit tricky because

where was she going? Well, I think it's

a similar to the Leah Block incident.

Emma's going to say she moved under

braking. Safety safety car is out for

the third time which is going to hamper

any progress for for Maya Ver and Alicia

Palmovski and Lson as well. Uh so Chloe

Chong uh so Chloe Chambers, sorry, might

have a third time to be tested on her

safety car restarts.

But we'll wait and see. This should be

fairly quick because uh the tractor will

you can just see in the background there

will whiz out once these cars have gone

past, remove the car, but uh it's going

to look tight. Yeah, we only have about

a minute left of the actual race

distance as well. So I'm not sure we are

going to get the race restarted. Let's

just keep an eye on it and see what

happens here. Just looking back at that

incident, it's something that um junior

drivers have to learn that when you're

going into a corner and you're racing

against someone else, you must make a a

fairly clear decision where you're going

at that last moment and try not to try

not to change it too many times because

that will just lead to an incident. It

will. And and it's also um a variety of

experiences on a driver experience on

the the grid here. So Emma obviously has

been qualifying, you know, she won the

race yesterday. She's been coloring

slightly further up. Um Courtney

Cronhn's struggled a little bit this

this weekend. So those breaking points

potentially could be slightly different

and that needs to be taken into account

as well. You see Courtney uh going back

with the aid of the the marshals. But

you you're 100% right, Ben. It's either

17 laps or 30 minutes, whatever comes

first. And we only have 13, 12, 11, and

now 10 seconds remaining of the race.

So, it looks as though the race is going

to finish in this order. Uh, we shall

see. I don't think they're going to go

racing once again. And what this will

mean, of course, if it happens like

this, is that Khloe Chambers will take

her first win of the 2025 season. Uh,

she won one race towards the end of last

year, but now she has this chance to

take her first victory of this year,

having qualified. so well on a number of

occasions. Uh and there Sarah Nurse, a

professional ice hockey player in

Canada. She's getting ready to give the

checkered flag when she's been given

that word. Uh they will be going over

the line this time. I think it will be

plus one lap 30 when they come around

the next lap. That's when the checker

flag will be coming out. But it will not

be racing. So you can confirm basically

this is the result as long as the car

doesn't break down on the lap. But uh

yeah, it's looking good for Khloe

Chambers, isn't it? And she does deserve

this. She's shown great pace throughout

the course of the year qualifying. Very,

very impressive. The races haven't quite

gone to plan, but this one has. It

certainly has. And we've got personal

best results out there as well for Chloe

Chong, Tina Houseman as well. Maya V's

done a great job from from building.

Well, she she couldn't have done

anything differently really. We know how

far she is coming up through through the

pack. Alicia, a great recovery, too,

after that incident with that contact

with Ella Lloyd that spun her out on the

first lap. But Khloe Chambers, uh,

believe it or not, she's had three pole

positions, but not on a race. But that's

all about to change. It is. And

remember, it was her 21st birthday

yesterday. She couldn't quite celebrate

her results yesterday in the same way,

but she is going to be able to celebrate

tonight. There's no doubt about it. That

was very, very impressive. And, uh,

they've just got to complete this lap.

They'll get the checker flag at the end

of it. They will not be racing against

each other. And yes, it's a little

disappointing that this race has

finished under the safety car because

actually I was really looking forward to

those last few laps. I'm wondering how

much further if at all Maya Ver might be

able to go. She there behind Khloe

Chong. Khloe's done a good job in this

race. I must admit she's she's raced

better in this one than we've seen for a

little while from her. It's good. Um but

it would have been a lot of pressure

from Maya behind. But that hasn't

happened of course because we've gone

back to safety car once again. Remember

it's the top 10 that will all score

points in this major race because they

they started the race as they qualified.

So they score points in the same way as

in Formula 1. So 25 points for the win,

18 points for second etc. And for Dorian

Pan who will get yet another podium uh

again it effectively increases her lead

and it will mean that ch although

Chambers will now move into a clear

second place ahead of Mayerberg in the

series and um she will gain a little bit

actually on Dorian Pan because she will

be winning and the checker flag will be

coming out as they come over the line.

It's nice and slow, but they can still

enjoy it because there you go. The

checker flags out. Chloe Chambers takes

victory in race three in Montreal. Her

first win of 2025. Ella Lloyd. Three

second places in all three races. That's

fantastic in terms of her championship

challenge. And third place to the series

leader Dorian Pan. She'll be happy with

that. Scoring consistently having taken

a win this weekend. Tina Houseman in

fourth place. Chloe Chong at last

getting a good result in fifth place and

Maya Ver coming all the way from 15th to

finish in sixth. What a chaotic weekend.

What a chotic race. But in the end

you've done it. Big one. Big one. Well

done guys. You guys. Oh my gosh.

Now we come back though. So uh good work

to everybody. You guys very much.

I mean, great win for her, but Ella

Lloyd and I'm sure Dorian Pan as well

will be kicking that that there'll be

there was so many safety cars because it

just looked like they had the the legs

on on Khloe Chambers and it could have

potentially been a long uh race for for

Chloe, but she nailed every single one

of those restarts.

Top job. Solid weekend. Well done. Just

keep moving it forward. Let's go.

They will be happy. I I promise. Zimba

doesn't sound happy, but that's how he

was all last year. He's happy. And I'm

sure Ella Lloyd is as well. As you said,

a hat-tick of podiums this weekend. P2

in every single race. And Dorian, she's

going to extend her lead in the

championship. Absolutely. Yes. And of

course for her team as well for the

Prema team that will certainly help

because they are leading the team series

now having moved ahead of Campos with

the previous two races we've already had

this weekend. So for the Premier team

this is working well with that fastest

lap as well for for Dorian as you say

it's been a very very good weekend for

her but for Khloe Chambers I'm really

pleased for her that she's taken a win.

She almost needed this kind of result to

give her that confidence going forward

into the rest of the series. Thank you

for the weekend to go put.

Well, that's absolutely true. Dian Pan

has scored very good points and has a

comfortable lead in the series. Um there

are still three more events to go in F1

Academy in this 2025 season. They've got

quite a big gap actually until they race

again. They won't be racing until the

end of August in Xanvort. And then there

are two other major events of course

supporting Formula 1 in Singapore and

the finale in November in Las Vegas, but

with three more events, two races at

every event, unless you get a race

canled like we did in Miami. So that's

why we've ended up with three races this

time simply because there was only one

race in Miami, but generally it's two

races per weekend. One reverse grid, one

with the grid as they qualify. And uh

for the lead now that Dorian Pa has in

the championship, it's going to be

pretty tough for anybody else. But Khloe

Chambers will be her nearest rival.

She's just had her first win. And Maya

Ver who showed she's still got that

performance, that pace. Who knows if

Dorian Pan has an incident somewhere.

Then suddenly things could change later

in the season. Yeah, we we've seen so

many times how quickly point standings

can change in any series. And it's so

close between these drivers in F1

Academy that anything can happen. And

Zambour is the next timeout for these

drivers as Chloe stands aloft her Red

Bull Ford fist pump and clap from the

Campos and I'm sure Red Bull staff down

there as well. But Zambour is a track

that pretty much every single one of

these drivers uh has been to. They're at

least going to get an opportunity to go

to as well. There is going to be a

pre-race test. uh next month I believe

for for the drivers to get uh

reacquainted with uh Zanvault and their

cars.

Yeah, absolutely. Well, it's delight

time. It really is a very happy time for

Khloe Chambers. No doubt about it. She

uh she's the American who was born in

China near Macau actually originally as

a kid and uh but has grown up in the

United States. So for her to have her

win in Canada, that's a rather lovely

move. She didn't have the great weekend

in Miami that she perhaps would have

liked. She was on a pole for the second

race that never happened of course in

Miami. Ella Lloyd, big smile for Ella

Lloyd because with three second places

including of course a reverse grid race

that was superb from her this weekend.

Really impressive and she has had one

victory already this year. So she is

definitely a potential contender

depending how things go for the rest of

the season. But well done to Ella Lloyd.

Uh the McLaren group as well will be

very happy about that. Very supportive

uh with Dorian Pan in the number 28 car.

They're showing yet another podium

finish and very much controlling the

championship lead at this stage.

Wonderful stuff. She's had a very good

consistent weekend, hasn't she? Has uh

Dorian she said on the radio making sure

that said that on the radio should I say

that she scored good points and that's

certainly what she needs. as she poses

for a photo alongside the P3 board being

whisked away. Uh they'll head up uh into

the cool down room. But first, we will

be hearing from our race winner and

Chloe Chambers, who I believe is down

there with Naomi Schiff.

Chloe Chambers, a huge congratulations.

I know that it's been somewhat of a

frustrating weekend. You've had the pace

all weekend, but it just hasn't come

together until this moment right now.

So, just talk to us about your feelings

after this victory. Yeah, I mean,

definitely expected a lot more out of

the weekend after having so much pace

throughout qualifying and practice and

the two races even. So, uh I mean, happy

to get the win, of course. Um a bit of a

weird race, a lot of safety cars, but uh

I'm confident that I would have won the

race either way today. Um the pace this

weekend has just been so good. Um I just

have to thank the team for all that.

There's definitely a lot of positives to

take out of this weekend. There's

obviously a big break right now until

the next race in Zanfort. So, what is

your plan for the downtime and how do

you come back better and stronger and

collect more victories in the future? I

mean, plan for the break, I guess. Keep

on driving, keep testing where I can.

Um, working hard at home, of course, as

well, but I mean, it seems like a long

break, but we have plenty of uh work to

do in the in the downtime. Fantastic.

Well, I know you have some of your

family here, so I'm going to let you go

celebrate as you well deserve. Thank

great to hear from Khloe Chambers who

has now moved up into second place in

the championship. So, Dorian Pan is the

championship lead on 109 points. Khloe

Chambers on 89. So, the gap actually at

20 points with three more events and six

races in total still to go. It's good

for Dorian, but it's certainly not

guaranteed that she is going to be the

title winner because Chloe Chambers has

shown great pace if she can keep that

up. Mayberg has dropped from leading the

series before they came to Canada to

drop to third place. Ella Lloyd is

currently in fourth position. And we're

just looking at some of the action from

Khloe Chambers. That was when she was

behind the safety car and had to come

quite slowly across the line, but

doesn't matter. When you win a race,

that's all that matters. And getting uh

a real celebration from both the team

and from managing director of F1

Academy, Susie Wolf. And what a crowd

that's come out to to watch F1 Academy.

They're really enjoying the racing.

They've been really treated to three

absolutely fantastic races across the

weekend.

Took them a long time to clean up. Oh.

Oh, boy. That's why they were massive.

I saw that on the on the screen.

Quite a quiet little view of the what

was going on in that race. Sometimes

it's funny how sometimes drivers when

they've they've come out, they chat to

each other a lot. Today it's a little

quieter, isn't it? It is. It is a little

bit quieter. It's been a busy and long

weekend for for the drivers who I'm sure

most will be traveling back to their

home destinations

and some of them are racing of course in

other categories throughout the year

because the F1 Academy is not nothing

like Formula 1 in terms of the number of

races you do over the course of the

year. So, so as we know Ella Lloyd is

racing in in British junior

single-seater racing as well. Others are

in other forms of single seater racing

before they come back into F1 Academy at

the end of August. Yeah, exactly that,

Ben. And there's not limited to just

sticking to racing in F1 Academy.

They're uh they're they're free to go

and race in other categories. So Dorian

Pan, for example, racing in the formal

regional championship. Yes, I saw that.

Uh you've got Elloy, you've mentioned,

racing in in British F4

Albaire's also racing in in the Spanish

championship. Abalas has been doing a

little bit in British F4 as well. So I

think buming seat time is what these

drivers really need to learn as much as

they possibly can.

Well, let's take a look at the full

result here for race three in Montreal.

Kobe Chambers taking the victory. Fully

earned her first win of the season. Ella

Lloyd in second place. consistent podium

finishes and Dorian Pan in third place

just being sensible staying out of

trouble scoring more points. Tina

Houseman in fourth, Khloe Chong an

excellent fifth place. Maya Ver from

15th up to sixth. Alicia Paloski from

the back after an incident earlier on

finished seventh, Alba Lassen in eighth.

Joan Shikanti ninth and Emma Felba

getting the final point in 10th. Nikol

Hreder finished 11th ahead of Raphaela

Ferrer and Nina Gaman in 13th. And I'm

afraid we saw a lot of incidents, a

little too many incidents, a lot of non

finishes as well. And a little too many

safety cars. It's strange actually this

Montreal circuit, the the track that

first ever saw safety cars in Formula 1

in the early 1970s and in recent years

in Formula 1 as well. We do see the

safety car here very often because

there's not much room to go off here. If

you go off, you're going to do damage

and we've seen that a number of times

with the F1 Academy cars. But let's

enjoy the podium now. So Dorian Pan is

back on the podium yet again having had

such a successful time that one victory

here this weekend. Another podium

finish. Just keep scoring points. That's

what she needs to do and she is leading

that category by 20 points at the

moment. Ella Lloyd though has done

really well this weekend. She's moved up

into fourth place and she is only five

points behind Maya Ver in the

championship as it stands right now. But

our race winner now has moved up to

second, 20 points behind Dorian Pam. But

definitely in with a shout having taken

her first winner this year, she has a

shout of going for the title later in

the season. Let's celebrate her win.

Three races here in Montreal. Lots of

action, lots of safety cars, and Chloe

Chambers can have a big smile on her

face having celebrated her 21st birthday

yesterday and now her first win of this

2025 season, her second ever win in F1

Academy. No, great racing that we've

seen all weekend. And could this be the

catalyst for Khloe Chambers to then

string on uh some more great results? of

course podium at pole position for the

last three race weekends but Dorian Pan

she will still be full of confidence

after this weekend and certainly so will

Ella Lloyd she will yes Ella Lloyd's

been uh especially as Ella Lloyd is in

her first full season where of course

Dorian Pan's in her second full season

of F1 academy I think Ella Lloyd is is

boosting her confidence now so she could

easily be a big threat as well it has

been very entertaining training watching

all of these races in Montreal. Alice,

it's been great to work with you. We
