My name is Jacob Ryan Gustafson.

I'm 35 years old, and I live in Yucaipa, California.

I don't have a 9 to 5.

I'm a firefighter, so we work 48 hour shifts minimum.

I'm an engineer for Loma Linda City in California.

We get to do the dangerous stuff like go fight structure fires.

And I've been in those situations

where the roof collapsed on top of me.

But that's kind of what we signed up for.

We kept the fire contained to the garage.

It's a successful day.

Being a firefighter, having impact in people's

lives is very special.

This is what it's like to feed an army.

from my girlfriend's side, Jen.

We're pretty much the modern day Brady Bunch family.

I love his career path that he's gone down.

But the unknown, if he's going to come home safe every night,

I'm 23 years old, and I'm from Kansas City.

How long have you been playing piano?

I've been playing piano since I was 3.

I just listened to what my sister played on the piano,

and I just played it back, so I taught myself.

Meanwhile, I'm on YouTube learning how to play a G chord.

The first time we heard Max playing piano by ear,

we were like, "Holy smokes!"

Max: I've been watching "The Voice" since I was a kid,

and the fact that I'm here is insane.
