No. But I played the part. I was very
disappointed.

All the fighting to have the cops
question as to how I wound up in

care, all for nothing.

For the next year, I got better.

I got a job at a small firm in the city
trading, and I was rebuilding.

But Florida never, never left my mind.

Question they're going to ask, question
I'm going to ask out there. People want

to know why did it take 20 years to get
this story out there?

Okay, first of all, it was never meant
to be a movie.

I spent years with lawyers trying to
question police. I couldn't get

Then I had cancer, and I was depressed
after that.

I wrote a book.

I tried two other times in a movie after
that.

I've called thousands of people, emails,
everything I could do. Me and my wife,

we tried to do. I got a few thousand of
those emails, by the way. Thank you.

So what exactly were the injuries? What

did you have to recover from?

My wrists were destroyed.

I had my handcuffs. I was cuffed the
whole time while they were pepper

me point blank.

And people don't realize how bad pepper
spray is. They admitted on the police

report that they pepper sprayed me four
times, which is enough to kill anybody.

But it was a lot more than that over the
half an hour that they did it while I

was in cuffs. So my lungs were destroyed
and my wrist. Why did they keep pepper

spraying you?

I didn't comply completely because I was
right in front of my house and he

wanted me on my hands and knees. And I
don't believe in getting on my hands and

knees for anybody but God.

So I tried to talk to them to let me
show them the house. And then they

sprayed me. They stripped me naked.

in front of my own house, and I wasn't
very happy, and he pointed a gun in my

chest. What was the sense of shipping
you naked?

They were looking for an on -burglar
that had been in our development as an

exclusive development, and apparently I
fit the bill. And they never caught the

guy? I don't even know.

I don't know.

And all these things he kept doing and
redoing and not, you know, just ready to

give up, you came in and sort of just...
kick them in the button, so we're going

to do this. So what made you make that
next move?

I love law, and I love to investigate
every detail, so why it didn't happen

why we should actually pursue it.

So I went through the whole entire case,
and I see that everything that we can

actually make it together to practically
put justice.

That was all the information we had to
get. The lawyers didn't even do any

And I get to play one of those in the
movie. Yeah, thank you.

So here is a guy who is a citizen in the
state making almost a million dollars,

and he didn't have justice, paying
always his taxes and everything else

that. So it makes me pursue everything
that I was doing and just get it done.

you lost everything?

Yeah. I couldn't think of anything else
but for the first two years of, you

know, they offered to drop the charges
right away, but they wanted me to sign a

paper saying I was a little bit guilty,
and I refused. And they're telling me,

listen, this is 10 years in jail.

You'll never trade again.

Just signed the papers.

Absolutely not. I want the question. I
want the truth.

Ten years in jail for what reason?

Resisting arrest is a felony.

So I was arrested for resisting arrest.

Okay. And resisting arrest with force.

It's incredible.

I only think that if it happened in
today's world, it would be a different

story. Hopefully it would be a different
story. Or if it would have happened in

New York, it wouldn't have happened.

There's one other thing I'd like to say.
Please do. Me and my wife have tried

everything, and this movie hopefully
will help. But if it doesn't, we're

offering $100 ,000 for them to finally
talk.

I want these questions answered. I want
the truth.

We don't know what else we can do.

It is a true story. I've taken a lot of
tests in the past. I'll take another one

and tell my whole story. I don't care.

Whatever needs to be done, I want the
truth out there.
