Previously... "We wish to recruit you as a Traitor."
I felt like this was going to happen,
but I don't want to join.
..the Traitors had a scare after failing to recruit Anna...
No-one's been murdered.
Anna is a ticking time bomb.
..and more shocks came in the mission.
THEY SHRIEK
Leanne and Leon, you will sleep well tonight.
Alliances and rivalries were exposed...
Freddie's sat over there
saying we're in a clique, and one of us is a Traitor.
Where my suspicions lie is with you, Tyler.
..resulting in the Faithful once again banishing one of their own...
I am...Faithful.
..and the secrets unravelled...
I am an ordained Anglican priest.
Oh, my God!
..the Traitors prepared to strike again.
It's going to be between Fozia, Anna
and Livi.
This is The Traitors.
# It's a war It's a war... #
These murders,
I worried that I wouldn't be able to cope.
I'm coping just fine.
So am I. I can't believe it!
So we're happy with that? Absolutely.
I think that's another successful day, in my opinion. Yeah.
# Got that fire in my bones... #
Last night, the Traitors struck again.
This morning, only those that survived the night
will make it to breakfast.
Oh! I really expected people to be in here!
I had a Shield, so sleep was good knowing that I was going
to come down to breakfast. Of course it was.
It was just bittersweet because seeing Tyler's cross,
and we lost a good guy yesterday.
I was gutted.
I've just had so many thoughts,
but I think it really just depends on... Well... ..who doesn't come in.
I had so many thoughts, and now I've literally been thrown by Lisa.
Yeah, but why would she play this game
if she's not going to tell a lie? This is what I mean.
Lisa obviously revealed that she's an ordained priest.
She didn't say, "I can't lie."
She just said, "If I lie, I must confess."
So she could still be a Traitor.
I don't want to be tunnel vision with her any more. No, I don't.
You know what? I just don't want to be wrong.
Like, we need to get another Traitor.
Yeah, we have to.
KNOCK ON DOOR
Come in. Come in.
Hey! Hi, guys!
Hi, guys.
Hello! Hello!
How did you sleep last night?
Erm, I mean, last night was rough.
I feel quite deflated after the Round Table last night
because I was so convinced Tyler was a Traitor.
For me, the hardest thing was just how stupid I felt
after the Round Table. Yeah, you just feel like... Cos I feel like you feel responsible for it as well.
Cos you're like, "Oh, like, I've..." It's not your fault.
I rallied a lot of people against him,
and obviously it was a mistake.
KNOCKING ON DOOR Come in!
Hi! Hi!
Oh!
You got the dog collar!
Oh, she's wearing it!
Oh! Morning, girls.
Lisa walked in with the collar on,
and I was a bit surprised.
I thought, "Is this a Vicar Of Dibley crossover?"
What's going on?
But I think everyone now thinks she's a Faithful.
Last night, I slept like a baby
because I'd resigned myself to the fact that,
OK, I've solidified myself as a Faithful.
There is no more reason for them to keep me here.
Yeah.
So, to be here is amazing.
Yeah, I'm chuffed to bits.
So, who's not here?
Fozia, Minah, Livi and Anna.
All the girls.
Oh! Shut up!
You'd go for Minah, I think,
because there's no heat on Minah at all.
I wouldn't be surprised if Fozia's possibly been murdered.
The way she came in, I thought she was a Traitor.
I think Anna is at risk.
Oh!
If they've murdered Livi, that will really throw me.
If it's Livi, then I just look like a...again.
KNOCKING ON DOOR
Oh! Come in!
Morning!
Oh! Livi!
It's Livi.
No. Surely not.
That doesn't make sense.
You're taking the piss.
I know you're close with Livi,
but would that add to the theory
that Freddie is actually a Traitor?
100%.
I love Livi, but we're here to win.
Yeah. I'll have to cry tomorrow morning.
You'll have to throw some onions in your eyes. Exactly!
Before we go in!
I knew it.
I bloody knew it.
"By order of the Traitors, you have been murdered.
"Signed, the Traitors."
Thank you, Freddie.
Oh!
Freddie is definitely a Traitor.
He's probably telling them right now,
"Oh, I've been set up! I've been set up!"
I've had such a good time in here, but I knew it was going to happen.
She was such an obvious Faithful.
Oh, my God.
Freddie, if you are a Traitor,
this is the biggest double bluff in history.
I swear on my life, I didn't.
That would be so stupid for me to...!
Or brilliant! Yeah.
Someone's trying to stitch me up,
but I don't really know who it is, but it's not nice.
Livi and Tyler were both gunning for me.
Now that they've gone, like, it means the heat's going to be on me
because I look like I've just got rid of them to, like,
silence them, basically.
No!
No.
I was sorry that I'd murdered Liv,
but it had to be done.
And I did think, "Oh, this is a good thing that I can play on
"to show Jake I am emotional."
I am ready to perform like it's the last roll of my life.
Oh, God!
She knew, though, didn't she?
You OK?
You loved her.
Why is she crying?
I had a conversation with Linda literally last night,
and she said to me, "I'm an emotionless person."
And then, that then. That there, I don't know.
It's not consistent. It's not consistent.
Linda - she's like a cat with nine lives.
She's still here!
I feel like more people are clicking onto her maybe being a Traitor.
And I feel like every day, there's something more
that's just adding up in my head.
Linda's reaction actually made her look really guilty.
If you're going to cry, you need to actually cry.
She overdid the performance.
She didn't need to do all that.
You all right, Linda?
Yeah. I loved her.
I avoided suspicion, I think, doing a bit of crying.
It is 100% theatre, and that's why I love.
Oh, God!
Hello. ALL: Good morning.
Another morning, another murder.
Livi was taken by the Traitors.
Faithful, I'm going to be honest with you -
I've got a really horrible statistic.
You have now lost eight of your own.
So think on that.
And on the subject of honesty, it's nearly time for a mission.
Oh, God!
Whoever is sitting around this table
and you're a Traitor, you're playing a blinding game.
Yeah!
Sometimes it's so hard to locate people. Find anyone? Hey! Hello!
Yeah.
I just thought he's like a puppeteer.
Even at the Round Table, he looks at you and goes like this...
Tyler. Yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah!
And he goes like... It's almost like if you don't vote that way,
you are an imbecile.
My face this morning looked like a slapped arse
because I was thrown when I went to breakfast.
I thought I was a goner yesterday.
The Traitors have been gunning for me since day one.
How am I still here? I'm shocked.
I want to get my secret out, and I want to get it out fast.
I feel like I'm out on a raft by myself, and I feel like
my fellow Faithful do not have their magnifying glasses on.
The first night you were here, I got a letter from the Traitors
asking me, "Did I want to join?" And I said no. Oh.
So then, the next day, the next day, my name wasn't brought up by anyone.
Why do you mention this yesterday?
Cos I thought it was our only clue. I thought I'm going to...
I thought I wasn't going to be here.
I thought I was going to be murdered.
If you didn't accept the offer,
why didn't you tell all of us yesterday that,
"Guys, I just got recruited"?
Why have you been hiding that?
And now you've only told selected people.
So it'll be interesting to see if Anna's going to confess
at the Round Table today.
You can choose to believe me, or you can choose to not.
At the end of the day, I'm trying to give you...
I'm trying to give the only clue that I have.
Where do you want to go? Let's go to the bar.
There's nobody in there.
How are you doing? I'm all right. I'm struggling today.
Are you? Yeah.
I just feel a bit stupid after how last night went.
Well, you're not stupid. That's the whole point.
Yeah. What are you thinking now?
I'm suspecting everybody
because, like, I think, "Why am I still in this game?"
I've not had a single vote at five Round Tables.
The only reasons I could still be here are the fact
that I'm very close to a Traitor, and that would be Minah,
or they just think I'm a bit of a joke
and my reads are completely off.
How many people do you think are saying my name?
There are suspicions,
but I think, you know, I'm saying this as a friend and a Faithful,
but you have to just protect yourself a bit because it's obvious
you can't really trust everybody.
Mm-hm. Mm-hm.
One question I had was the small evidence. Right?
But the reaction today, I was watching around the breakfast table,
as I'm sure everybody was... Are you going to say Linda?
My question to you guys who've been in here a little while is,
were they close?
I've never seen them talk. I think they were fake tears then.
I have thought her before, and I've ummed and ahhed.
She always stares at the table and doesn't look up.
I don't think anyone understood why Livi was chosen, but the person
that was most emotional at breakfast was Linda.
I found that surprising.
To me, it's a risk of crocodile tears.
The sort of overacting felt a bit much to me.
That does make me suspicious.
With the prize pot sitting at £29,500, the players have a chance
to add to it even further in today's mission.
Woohoo!
INDISTINCT CHATTER
Let's do this. Put your big boy knickers on.
I think it's weird Linda's reaction this morning to Livi.
Yeah, yeah. It's just weird how she said to me last night
she's emotionless. And then, literally this morning,
there was, like, all that theatrics.
Do you know what I mean?
I would really like a Shield now.
Oh, yeah.
How beautiful is this? What a bloody bonnie day, is it no'?
Oh, it's like a weird cult!
Oh, no! I don't like this!
Oh, my God, no! Why is she...? Why is she being held up?
Look at Claudia! Oh, my God!
When I turned up to that mission, I was scared.
It was like some weird pilgrim stuff.
Claudia was, like, raised above these two groups.
It looked like some sort of horror movie.
Human sacrifice vibes.
I am so creeped out.
Oh, guys, please don't have to sacrifice somebody
and leave me behind.
I'm feeling a little spooked.
You're right. We've taken it up a notch.
Boys, lower me.
Thank you.
Oh, my God, they're vast! My sons.
THEY LAUGH
Welcome, players, to the Ceremony Of Truth.
If you all speak your truth,
as a reward, I will give you £5,000 for the prize fund.
Everyone will start the mission with a Shield.
Your job is to keep hold of it.
In pairs, you must secretly mark who you don't want to be protected
from tonight's murder.
To do this, one of you must pick up this bucket
and place it behind them.
The marked player must then guess who they think is responsible.
If that person guesses just one of the guilty pair,
then both of those players lose their Shields
and they're out of the mission immediately.
However, if the marked player guesses incorrectly,
they have to give in their Shield.
The ceremony will only end when three players or less
are left standing with shields.
Those players will all be protected from murder tonight.
Please put on your masks and prepare for the ceremony.
You know, we're at the stage in the game now that everybody wants
that Shield really badly.
I will now select two players' names from this pouch
to find out who's going to go first.
So in this game, if you're picked, you have to,
along with another player, mark somebody.
And if that person can guess one of the two players that mark them,
they will stay in the game, and the other two players will be out.
If they guess wrongly, they themselves
will be out of the game.
The last people remaining in the game will win themselves a Shield.
The players have been selected.
They must discuss now, very discreetly, who they think
is undeserving of a Shield.
I need to keep the Shield. And I thought,
"Who am I going to pick that's not going to be too obvious?",
and that person will be able to say, "Yeah, that was Fozia"?
So I had to kind of think strategically, then, as well.
Fozia really wanted to go for Anna,
and all I could think was, "You're whispering so loud, I'll just agree.
"Let's go for Anna."
We had to put the bucket behind the marked person.
But do you know what?
Actually, I didn't see what was in the bucket, if I'm honest.
A player has been marked.
This is really horrible.
Please remove your masks.
Oh, my God! Stop!
Oh, for God's sake! This is so gross!
Sorry. Really struggling in here.
Oh, my God!
To mark somebody knowing that they were going to have that gunge
put over their heads was horrendous.
I'm actually...
I'm shocked. I'm in shock.
I don't know if I can do this.
I can't deal with, like, stuff in my hair.
Anna, who do you think doesn't want you to have a Shield?
I don't know.
Er, any suggestions, anyone?
Er, Linda, was it you? No.
I need that Shield more than anyone else.
Everyone says, "Oh, I feel like there's a target on my back."
Girl, I know there's a target on my back.
I've got a letter to prove it,
so I need that Shield.
I don't know. I'm going to say Dan.
Anna, I'm afraid you are incorrect.
OK.
Please hand over your Shield to the fire and leave the ceremony.
Bloody hell! That's raw!
Oh, my God!
I kind of felt a bit guilty,
but at the same time, I kind of, like, felt good about it.
One player has left the ceremony.
Please lower your masks again, and we will continue.
It smelt like off milk,
but it was also a bit poo-y as well.
Jake, who doesn't want you to have the Shield, please?
Linda.
Jake, you guessed incorrectly.
Oh! You bastard!
Freddie, who doesn't want you to have a Shield tonight?
I'm just going to guess Alex.
Freddie, you are incorrect.
Oh!
Joe, you have been marked.
OK, I'm going with Linda, then.
Incorrect.
Please surrender your Shield.
I knew it, I knew it! Bah!
Who do you believe doesn't want you to have a Shield? Foz.
You are incorrect.
I was shocked at how brutal the game was right from the off,
but at the same time, it made me think.
We all have to go through with this mission, even though it's gross.
For me, it was very important to get the Shield.
I feel like we have to go for Minah because we are both close to Minah.
She will never suspect us.
A player has been marked.
MINAH WHIMPERS
Players, please remove your masks.
Listen, flippin' God!
No, honestly, guys, that is proper sneaky behaviour.
I can't even open my eyes.
Oh, my God.
INDISTINCT COMMENT
I will not forgive whoever's done this because of my hair.
OK?
Minah, who doesn't want you to have a Shield?
Dan, any suggestions?
It wasn't me.
You promise? Promise.
Leanne?
I wouldn't... You promise... I promise.
..it wasn't you? No.
OK. I'm going to go with Frankie.
That is incorrect.
The two players who didn't want you to be protected from murder
will remain a secret.
Oh, my God!
As much as I do care about everybody, I want a Shield,
so, yeah, I lied, and we got away with it.
Players, the ceremony will continue.
Please lower your masks.
Players, please remove your masks.
Alexander, you have been marked.
Lisa, was it you?
No.
My split-second decision was to tell a white lie and say no.
Erm, I'm going to lock in Leanne.
Alexander...
..correct. Oh!
Leanne, I'm afraid because Alexander guessed correctly,
please surrender your Shield and leave the ceremony immediately.
Leanne was one half of a duo.
The other half was...
..Lisa.
HE GASPS You lied! Lisa!
I was hoping she was going to ask me to confess.
Lisa is out of the game.
We will continue.
My strategy was to go for people
who would never, ever expect me to mark them.
I knew that Frankie and I were close,
so I was going to mark her.
Oh, jeez!
Oh, no. Oh, God.
Is that Frankie? Yeah. Yeah.
I was really cross for being marked.
Oh, it's right down the back of my shirt.
I mean, it was...disgusting.
Well, I don't think it's Fozia.
It wasn't me. I don't think Charlotte. I don't think it's Dan.
Well, I don't know. I'm hoping it's not Linda.
No, it wasn't me.
So I think it's either Alexander or Alex.
And I'm going to go...
..for Alex.
I can tell you that you are incorrect.
Nine players have left the ceremony, and only six of you remain.
The ceremony continues.
A player has been marked.
Dirty bastards!
HE LAUGHS
Dan, was it you?
Alex, incorrect.
A player has been marked.
SHE GROANS
Linda. Oh!
It's not from this side.
Please remove your masks.
Are you all right, Linda?
Linda, if you guess correctly, you get to keep your Shield
and the ceremony will end.
OK.
I think it might be...
..Fozia.
Correct.
Oh, my God!
I just thought, "I think Fozia would do that to me."
She's been on me from the beginning.
Fozia was working with Alexander.
Yes!
Huge congratulations.
By completing the ceremony,
you have all added £5,000 to the prize fund.
Yes!
However, I imagine you're even more excited
about what is hanging around your neck.
You played magnificently.
And I'll see you at the castle.
Cheerio.
Faster, please.
Well done. Oh, my God, Linda!
I'm not hugging you!
Well done.
Do you think everybody's going to be honest about who picked who?
Oh, no. No.
Good job, guys!
Well done!
Can we cheers? BOTH: Cheers!
In terms of the actual mission,
I wonder if anyone will actually own up. You know what I mean?
Cos you technically don't have to say anything.
This is it, like...
Will someone actually say, "Oh, by the way..." "It was me."
"..it was me"?
Erm, did you talk to Frankie and tell her? No. Oh.
Have you told her? No.
I think I probably will.
Would that upset you? Would that make your life harder?
Erm, not if you just said it about yourself.
OK, well, I'll just do that.
I don't have to share everything with everybody.
I lied to Frankie, and I lied to Minah.
It's not a big deal, really, you know.
You've got a little bit of molasses poured over your head.
You know, the world hasn't ended. I'm sorry.
Nobody is bound by any rules for any of these games.
We can all do what we want.
Absolutely not. It's the game is the game is the game.
And that's OK.
So... And I don't really feel guilty about it, to be honest.
I got a Shield.
Yeah. Well done.
Frankie, can I borrow you for a second? Yeah.
We can stand here, if you like. OK.
I wanted to say it was me.
I know. I'm sorry. It's OK.
I took a decision to be transparent,
to try and build as much trust as possible,
especially given that people might believe there was
a Traitor in the cages.
Obviously, I won't name anybody else, but it was a joint.
No, no, no. I'm really sorry about that. OK.
I really appreciate it. So I'm sorry.
That's... On that basis... You know what? That's all I need.
So Alexander gave me the half-truth.
He didn't tell me who the other person was,
but I have to respect his wishes in that.
It really is up to that other person to own up.
Well, I mean, I'm glad I got caught, but... Who did you...?
I'll be along. I know you're hungry.
OK. We're going in here.
Don't...
I don't know how many people are going to be honest... Yeah.
..but I literally can't look you in the eye. Why?
Because...
I genuinely didn't think that... No.
That actually really upset, that you've done... I know, I'm sorry.
I know. I know.
I looked you both in the eye! You said! I know. I'm sorry.
I literally panicked. Oh.
I couldn't carry that burden.
I had to come clean, purely for my own guilt.
I felt awful, but she was grateful that I told her.
Do you know...if he doesn't say anything to me, then I don't...
I genuinely don't trust him.
Do me a favour - don't say that you've told me.
And I swear to you on my life, I know nothing.
Me and Dan are day-oners.
You know, he's my Scouse brother, so I'm really disappointed in him.
I don't like being in the dark
with the people I'm supposed to be trusting.
He hasn't told me, but I'm hoping
that there's a chance of us sitting down and him naturally saying,
"I marked you."
And if not - wrong move, Dan.
I just really wish, like, I'd find out, to be honest.
But it is what it is. Yeah. What's happening?
It's just like the thought that, like, no-one said anything.
I'm hoping, like, the person comes up and tells me, but I don't know.
I feel like people have sort of gone off for you now.
Are you still going with who I think you're going with?
Yeah.
I think the tide's going to turn to her.
And Frankie wasn't sure,
but now Frankie is really pissed off from today's mission.
God, the mission's tore everyone apart.
# My monsters hide
# In the shadows... #
So far,
five Faithful have been banished,
four Faithful have been murdered.
Our two Traitors are smashing it.
Can they stick together and remain undetected
at the Round Table tonight?
Going into the Round Table tonight,
I'm going to go full force with Linda.
I feel like there's new information that's happened today.
I'm convinced Linda is a Traitor and we need to get her out.
I am worried Linda is at risk.
Dan broke my trust.
I feel really let down by him.
I will happily throw him under the bus
to try and protect Linda.
# ..monster! #
I want to catch a Traitor tonight so badly.
I want to unveil my secret, then look at who's been targeting me
and shine a spotlight on every single player.
Players, welcome back to the Round Table.
Congratulations.
Today, you added £5,000 to the pot.
Your current prize fund stands at £34,500.
But today, you might have gained something even more valuable
than that -
information about your fellow players.
The floor is yours.
I'd actually like to go first tonight, guys, because we're always
talking about this whole thing of looking for evidence.
You know, we don't know what's evidence,
we don't know what's not as evidence.
I actually have some real evidence that I think the Faithful
are going to be super delighted to hear.
So two nights ago,
my name was brought up by loads of people at the Round Table.
The next night, my name wasn't brought up at all.
What happened in between was I got a letter from the Traitors.
They tried to recruit me and I said no.
OK, because I knew what was going to happen.
I knew that they were just going to bring me up again,
and then I was going to be stitched up.
And these people that had said from day one, "Oh, I suspect Anna.
"I've always suspected, Anna."
I was going to have to stand there and say I'm a Traitor.
So I thought to myself,
"All I can do is just try to look out for the Faithful." OK?
People brought up my name and then didn't bring up my name,
and we need to look into that.
It's the only hard evidence we have...
Who brought up your name, Anna? Dan. Yeah.
It was you, Alex. Yeah.
It was you, Lisa.
And was you, Linda.
OK. I'm sorry, but, like, it would be mad for me not to look into it.
Was there any reason why yous changed your mind?
The reason I wasn't going to bring up your name, Anna,
is because I've seen the emotional reaction afterwards and, honestly,
I thought, "There's no way." I get it, and we're mates
and, like, it's just hard, but, like, I am very sus of you.
Can I... Can I just speak?
I'm sorry, Linda, I know I'm speaking to you again,
but this morning in breakfast, you came in
and then you started crying over Livi.
I didn't realise you were that close.
Yeah, I was absolutely.
Was she? Was she?
No. Livi actually brought your name up.
I didn't know that.
I thought we were really close, and I looked to her as a daughter,
so actually it's really upset me.
Linda, with your voting as well,
like, I couldn't help but notice, like, it's been...
It's been conveniently on the bandwagon with people who have gone.
You know, you're going under the radar.
You barely say anything at the Round Table.
That was sort of my strategy from the beginning, was to listen a lot,
because you learn a lot from looking at people
and listening to what they're saying.
Can I ask you a question, Linda? Did you mark me today?
Absolutely not.
Dan, did you mark me today?
I did not.
I'm sorry to harp on about, like, being marked,
OK? But it's like... It's just like, someone is lying.
Yeah. Yeah.
I've asked you both straight in the face,
and those are the only people left over.
I told you. Yeah. No, but you've both told me.
So why do you think it's me and not these guys?
It's a matter of elimination. Yeah. It's not anything personal.
I'm just eliminating to the two...
But why haven't you eliminated us?
Because someone did it, and it wasn't an invisible man.
It could have been any one of these people.
Alexander has come up to me and said he did it.
He hasn't said the partner.
I am giving, if you are a Faithful,
you the opportunity to see...say, "It was me."
Yeah. Rather than lie.
And be honest about it. That's all I'm doing.
I'm absolutely not lying.
Oh.
Alexander, will you say who it is or no?
I'm playing this game transparently,
but also with respect for other players to play it how they wish.
Yeah, but we've got to try and catch a Traitor, man.
Oh, my God! OK. Let's do it this way.
How valuable is it...
At the moment, it is. ..as evidence of a Traitor?
Alexander, I look you in the eye,
I wouldn't be putting you in this position
if I didn't believe it was valuable.
And I swear that...
Let me say something.
It was me. Right.
Right. There you go.
Why would you lie? Why did you lie? OK...
Because I'm playing my own game.
You're all being quite self-righteous.
But you're not on your own. I don't care. Fine.
We are a team is the thing. We have to work as a team because we are.
You know, if you are a Faithful, then this is your moment,
because it doesn't look great
and it's really like betraying my trust.
I asked you, like I'm staring in your eye now, and you lied.
I'm here to play a strategic game.
I don't have to tell everybody, every thought or every action
that I make in this game. We're not asking for that.
Dan, I'm not putting you on the spot,
but, like, I see you as, like, one of the very few people I trust.
Yeah. Like, 100%.
And I looked you in the eye around there...
Like, you all knew how I felt about the thought of getting gunked.
And I said, I looked you in the eye,
and I said, "Dan, do you promise me it wasn't you?"
And you said, "I promise you it wasn't."
And then I looked at Le... And then I looked at Leanne,
and I said, "Leanne, promise me it wasn't you."
She said it, too. And she said she didn't. Right.
No, let me finish. Let me finish.
Because that's actually really upset me now. OK.
It makes me feel uncomfortable
that you wouldn't just say, "I picked you."
I don't care why you picked me, but I just think it's weird
that this has all happened, and you've not said.
I will be as cut-throat and competitive
as I can be to get a Shield.
That's why I marked you today,
and that's why I marked you, Minah, as well.
I picked you because I didn't think you would suspect it was me.
I really wanted that Shield. That does not mean I'm a Traitor.
But then why not say that?
Because we said we don't have to say what happened in that mission.
There were lots of people who said,
"You don't have to say, you don't have to say."
But now everybody's like, "Oh, you know, all about the team."
What I'm trying to tell you, Dan, is
regardless of what happens tonight, I cannot trust you.
I really cannot trust you whether you're a Traitor
or a Faithful because of how you've conducted yourself.
Do you have anything to say to that?
I mean, I feel like I've said everything that I need to.
Who do you think it is, Dan?
Do you have any suspicions? Do you want to say...?
Well, it's hard to say, because I was so wrong last night about Tyler,
so I wanted to take a bit of a backseat today.
I have thought, you know, is it somebody I'm close to
that's keeping me safe?
Cos otherwise I think I would have been murdered by now.
But I am a Faithful.
If you vote me out, you'll see I'm a Faithful.
I play the game in a very different way, clearly,
to everybody else here, and I own that.
Does anybody...? I feel like I've said a lot.
I've said way too much. I've said my piece. I know what I'm doing.
Yeah.
Well, I've got nothing to say for a change,
so I'm sorry about that.
Lisa, can you not ask God for some guidance,
because we're struggling down here?
We are really struggling. We need the help.
Listen, pal, I've been asking for guidance.
I'm at the front of the queue.
OK. The time for talk is over.
It is time to vote.
Players, please write down the name of the person
you believe is a Traitor.
Charlotte, we're going to start with you.
Who do you believe is a Traitor and why?
I voted for you, Linda.
Various reasons discussed earlier.
I just think it's... Yeah, that's OK. ..it doesn't add up.
Jake, whose name is on your board?
So I voted for yourself, Linda.
Er, shock, horror!
Erm... For the reasons I've already stated.
OK. Anna?
I voted for you, Alex.
Erm...I most suspect you.
Alexander?
Erm, Linda.
I found the behaviour this morning strange,
and therefore, Linda, I've gone for you.
Minah.
Dan, I voted for you.
I just feel really betrayed by you, to be honest. That's OK.
Leanne?
I voted for you, Dan.
Erm, I need to be around people that I trust and, unfortunately,
I just don't trust you.
It's OK.
Leon.
Erm, I've gone with you, Dan.
Dan.
Erm, I voted for you, Leanne.
We're obviously doing something wrong in terms of
getting the Traitors, so I thought I'd try something different.
That's fine. You should have brought it to the table.
Well, I didn't.
Linda.
I have voted for Fozia.
I just found the whole way you came in,
I thought it was really, really strange.
I'm going with my gut on this, and I'm not listening
to anybody else.
Francesca.
I voted for you, I'm afraid, Alex.
Er, Dan, if you're lying to me...
I've trusted you up until today,
and if you just are playing a weird, singular game and not as a team,
then that's not the way to play this.
And, Alex, I'm sorry, but I'm...
I'm not convinced about either of you right now.
Joe.
Linda, I have been unsure of you from the start,
so I'm going with you. OK.
So a vote count.
Four for Linda, three for Dan, two for Alex,
one for Leanne and one for Fozia.
Fozia, who do you believe is a Traitor?
I think a couple of Traitors might have been named today.
But I guess I've gone for you, Dan.
Lisa.
I'm really sorry, Dan.
Erm... I'm really sorry.
That's OK.
Freddie.
I've voted for yourself, Dan.
And finally Alex.
I voted for you, Dan.
Dan, you have received the most votes.
Please come up here and join me.
Dan, you have received the most votes
and you are banished from the castle.
Please now reveal -
are you a Faithful or are you a Traitor?
Guys, just remember, we've all only known each other
for a couple of weeks. You know, don't take things too personally.
It's just a game.
This has been an absolute pleasure and I've had a fantastic time.
I am...
..a...
..Faithful.
Oh, no!
I knew it.
Oh, no!
Oh, my God! Guys!
Faithful,
you might not have liked the way he played,
but he was such a strong Faithful.
He really was!
You've shot yourselves in the foot.
And I tell you what,
the Traitors are going to sleep well tonight.
The rest of you, not so much.
I never thought Dan was a Traitor, but, obviously, other people did
because of his lies and the way he played the game.
Truly believe, had Dan not made that mistake,
Linda would have been banished by now.
I didn't wake up expecting to vote for Dan.
There is an element of, like, stress
because Linda did have a bit of a battering around the table.
I really need her to be on her A-game.
I don't want to be seen to be protecting somebody
who is clearly a Traitor.
I'm going to leave, if you don't mind.
That's three amazing guys in three nights.
That took balls of you to do that,
and you keeping that in for a few days, that's brilliant, Anna.
I didn't vote for Dan because I thought he made a point,
like, he was playing in a different way, but... Yeah.
..and I don't think... He played a selfish game,
but he wasn't a Traitor. Yeah.
Are you all right, Linda?
No, I'm not, actually. No, don't think so.
I don't... I feel I've been totally blindsided.
Nobody has said anything to me.
I don't think you are. I'm so... I'm not!
I know you're not. And this is what's pissing me off.
From the first bloody day,
I've had to fight all the time. I know.
Do you know what? I don't care any more.
I am so exhausted. Please don't shout at me.
No, no, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, baby, I'm sorry.
No, what I'm saying is, I'm so exhausted now,
I can't even think properly any more. Well, I just... I'm so sorry.
Give us a hug. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry.
He doesn't think as a team. He thinks that's just the way...
I didn't think he was.
I think I was the most vocal I've been at the Round Table,
and although I felt massively betrayed that Dan lied,
I still felt that he was a Faithful.
Frankie, do you want a hug? I need a drink.
It might be the last one.
Double hug. Double hug! I love you, Frankie.
With Dan banished, the Faithful are still reeling from getting rid
of one of their own.
But what none of the players know is that I'm about to give
the Traitors a secret mission.
Oh, God! Oh, God!
Oh, God, oh, God, oh, God!
OK.
My Lord.
"Tonight, there will be no secret meeting in the Turret."
"Instead, before the night is through...
"..you and your fellow Traitors
"must select four players in plain sight...
"..to play a deadly game.
"The losing Faithful will be murdered by the Traitors
"face-to-face."
Face-to-face?!
"In the bar, you will find a portrait depicting the scene
"of tonight's game.
"You must write the name of each player you wish to compete
"on the portrait.
"To do this, you must use the peacock quill,
"which can be found in the library."
Well, there you go.
Oh, God!
You think you know this game,
and then, there's just, like, another twist and turn.
# When you discover
# I take no order
# Only see victims
# To battle and bleed. #
I have to see Minah
and work out who are going to be the four people
that compete in the game.
I feel gutted. Like, why haven't we found one?
This is really not great, is it?
But first thing - go to the library and get the quill.
Let's hope that nobody is in the library.
It's so hard when you go so hard at the Round Table
and then we don't get a result. Do you know what I mean?
Like, are we ever going to get anyone out?
We appreciate, Anna, that you were honest today
and you shared those names.
This game is just so mentally tiring, like. It is.
I'm going to top my drink up.
In fact, yeah, I'm going to make a sandwich.
It makes me very anxious,
because if somebody sees either of us doing anything,
we're immediately in trouble.
It's frustrating because you're trying to find a Traitor,
and then you've got Faithfuls making silly mistakes.
I just think people have got to be smarter.
You all right, Linda? Yeah.
I feel, like, drained.
We are literally the worst ever players in the history of this game.
This is it! I'll sit here.
If we shut the door... If we shut the door...
It's weird. Stand over there.
There was an element of panic.
Are we going to get it done in time?
Trying to work out, like, what's the right decision?
Who are the right people to select?
We can't afford to mess it up.
Are we in agreement?
Absolutely. Yeah.
Let's do it. Come with me.
My stress levels were at the worst they've ever been in my life.
I was thinking, "If somebody comes and sees us,
"we are in big, big trouble."
Come on, let's go get a drink.
# We're off to see... #
Come on, can you do this? Can you do that?
Get the pattern.
# We're off... # Come on, do that, do that!
Jelly beans, come on.
The bar's this way.
Hang on. Jelly beans first.
Where is the bar? Where is the bar?
Where is everyone?
CLOCK CHIMES
I'm categorically not a Traitor. I could not be a Traitor.
How are they having the heart?
Oh, my God, this is so hard. Oh, God.
The murder hour is approaching,
and everyone must leave for their individual lodgings.
But for four very unlucky players, the night has only just begun.
Aw, night, babe!
Goodnight.
See you guys here. See you tomorrow.
What is going on here?
Where are we going?
I knew there was going to be something.
Oh, this looks far from good.
No way.
Oh, God.
I half-suspect it's a murder.
Welcome, players.
You will definitely want to be sitting down
when I tell you what's about to happen.
Please choose a seat at the table.
CHUCKLES: Well, it's a cemetery.
There's a lot of death around there anyway, so I knew that
things weren't about to get any prettier, put it that way.
I'm scared.
LAUGHS: Oh, my God.
Earlier, the Traitors chose you four to play a little game.
Could they stop picking me?!
Just to be clear, the Traitors could have chosen any players,
whether they be Faithful or Traitors.
This little game, I'm going to be completely frank with you,
is called Deathmatch.
At the end of the game, one of you will be dead.
The other three, well, you'll escape and live to see another day.
Oh, my God.
Why us?
Why us four?
In front of you, you each have two cards.
They are death cards.
However, little glimmer of hope.
One is a life card.
You will all take it in turns to swap a card with another player.
Whoever is holding the life card at the end of that round
escapes and lives another day.
The person left seated at this table will face murder.
The absolute key of the game
is to find and hold on to the life card.
OK.
It's time to play Deathmatch.
Please look at your cards.
When I got the life card, I didn't want to make it too obvious
to the others, but I was like,
"Wow, lucky me. I've already started with a life card."
Let's play the game.
Who would like to go first?
I will.
Whose card would you like?
I'm going to grab this one off Fozia.
This one or this one?
The second one. OK.
I couldn't believe it.
My heart was pounding, like.
I was trying to keep a straight face and just saying to myself,
"Neutral face, neutral face, neutral face,"
because I had to let everyone else think that I was disappointed.
We will go clockwise.
Fozia, you're next.
Whose card would you like?
Anna got lucky. I thought, "Shall I ask for it back?"
And if I do, Alexander would have said, "Well, I'd like that card,"
and then Leon would have clicked on.
And I just thought, after the Round Table today,
she deserves to be here, so I let her keep that card.
Leon's on the right.
Alexander, you're next.
You can take any card from any player of your choosing.
Erm...
..Fozia, I will take the card closest to me, please.
And lastly, Leon.
Let's go...
Let's go Fozia.
Which one? Either.
Your hands are now final.
Players, please reveal your cards.
Place them on the table, please.
Anna, you have the life card.
Please leave the Deathmatch.
Well done, Anna. Thank you.
I've survived another murder.
I am the girl who lived.
Put that scar on my head!
Fozia, Alexander, Leon,
all three of you are still in contention for murder.
We play again.
Please look at your cards.
Remember, it's all about finding and holding on to the life card.
As soon as I saw that life card, I tried to contain it.
I thought to myself, "I need to try and be smart,
"but I need to be cool."
Who would like to go first?
Can I go first, please? Leon, whose card would you like?
I'm going to go your right, please.
Leon, I'd like your left card.
Yeah? You sure?
Yep.
OK.
And finally, Alexander, whose card would you like?
I would like Fozia's left card.
Players, please reveal your cards.
Alexander, you live to see another day.
Oh, my goodness.
Thank God. I've made it.
I hope I see you tomorrow. I hope I see you tomorrow.
There's not many better feelings than this.
So, Fozia and Leon, only two of you left here.
By the end of tonight,
one of you will survive and live another day.
The other will be dead.
