Faster than a speeding bullet. More
powerful than a locomotive.
Able to leap tall buildings at a single
bound.
Look! Up in the sky!
It's a bird! It's a plane!
It's Superman! It's Superman,
man of truth,
Superman. Superman, marketed to Earth as
an infant from the distant planet
Krypton, exploded. And Ho disguised as
Clark Kent, wild planet reporter for the
Daily Planet, fights a never-ending
battle for truth, justice, and freedom
with superpowers far beyond those of
ordinary mortals. It's Superman,
Superman, Superman, Superman.
Perched atop a mountain near Metropolis
is the new research laboratory of the
brilliant inventor, Professor Noble, who
is unaware that his mountain is laced
with tunnels, leading to the secret
hideout of APE, A-P-E, the
Allied Perpetrators of Evil.
The Professor's Trouble Televisor is a
clever device. It's designed to spot
trouble and crime before it
happens. That thing would put
us evil, do us out of business. It
must be destroyed. Right. Now
we all know what we must do.
So let's go. Umm
Meanwhile, inside the laboratory.
Professor Noble, if this thing works,
it'll be the greatest crime-fighting
invention in history. We'll find out,
Perry, right now.
Great Caesar's ghost! That's Brainiac,
the humanoid robot from LEGA. I'd better
activate the Superman alarm signal.
Uh-oh. This is a job
for Superman. Up, up, and
away!I hope Superman got
your message. He will be too
late.
Professor, look! He's going to shrink
the troubled televisor.
No, you don't.
Superman! Don't worry. I'll
restore you to normal size.
He tried to destroy the troubleteleviser.
More trouble. That's a power line tower
in the valley. And that's the
warlock with his magic ruby.
This will destroy the professor's lab
and his invention, too.
I'm sure that miserable warlock will be
back. Superman
makes it impossible to get near the
invention. OK, so we
destroy the generator that powers the
invention. We'll keep
Superman busy while you blow up the
generator shack. Good. We'll meet
later in Brainiac's flying saucer.
Moments later, reporter Lois Lane drives
up the mountain toward the laboratory.
Help! Help
Rebecca, I've got Lois. Press the button.
In five minutes, this power generator
will be blown to bits.
Now I'll make a dragon rock
come to life. Ohh
Help! Relax, Miss Lane.
I'll take care of it.
Another evil warlock trick. Better get
Lois out of here.
All right, Miss Lane. Now you go into the
lab while I...
A bomb. No time to lose.
That does it. Now I'm going to put those
apes in a cage. Up, up, and
away!
Ah, Brainiac's flying saucer.
After it! Seeing the man of steel
racing toward them, Brainiac envelops his
ship in a powerful shield of force.
If I can't get in, I'll make
you fellows come out.
In just a few seconds, this pressure
cooker will pop open.
Superman, stop! We give up!
Inside, H. And we'll collect your robot
pal. So,
my invisible friend, you want to play, eh
You two can say goodbye to this junk
pile. You're heading for a rock pile at
the prison. Oh,
Clark, have you heard about the scary
experience I had today?I-- Of course I
heard, Lois. Hasn't everyone?
Oh. I suppose you don't believe I
really did see a dragon fly.
Sure, I believe it. I do
believe it.
