He biked across Germany
and into Switzerland.

There he became a graphic
artist and fathered four sons.

Cioma lived to be 92.

Det Kassriel was deported to
Auschwitz where he was murdered.

Gerda was deported and died
in a concentration camp.

Franz Kaufmann was shot dead
at the Sachsenhausen camp

on 17.02.1944.

Cioma's parents,
Boris and Fanja,

and grandmother,
Marie Bermann,

were deported and murdered

in the Sobibor
and Majdanek death camps.

Ludwig Lichtwitz was arrested
in September 1943.

He escaped on 17.11.1943,

survived the war and got back
together with his wife.
